Tom came back about an hour later.
I was passed out on the couch so I hadn't even heard him come in. Between all the boredom and lack of people around me I had decided a nap would be the best thing for me.
I awoke to hear him and another voice talking. The other voice was relatively familiar; deep but not as deep toned as Tom.
I peeked over the couch to see Tom talking with Adam out of all people. I wasn't exactly bursting with excitement to see him, especially because the last time I did he was trying to seduce me.
Tom looked over for a moment and caught my gaze. Adam followed his turn and both of their eyes pierced straight into my soul.
"Well goodmorning, sleeping beauty." Adam said with a grin. I swear I almost threw up in my mouth. He is such a disgusting person I couldn't even look him in the eyes.
"Talk to me again and I'll kick you where the sun doesn't shine." I said angrily. He had absolutely no authority to speak to me, especially since he's a less then half-good guy and he apparently likes to seduce me for fun.
"Someone's got an attitude." He said with a slow sigh. I watched closely as Tom raised a hand to Adam, as if telling him to shut up. This made me grin, even for just a moment.
"I will kick you, and it'll hurt." I raised an eyebrow. He looked at me, then to Tom, then left the kitchen and went into Tom's bedroom, but he didn't seem to mind, in fact, he was only seeming to focus on me.
"You've really got a noisy mouth, Greendale, I'm surprised you weren't sorted into Gryffindor." He said evenly, folding his arms across his chest. I sighed and got up from the couch. Everyone seems to say that about me.
"Well I'm intelligent and wondrous. That makes me a Ravenclaw." I said with a glowing smile, even despite the fact just a few moment ago I was about to kick Adam right between the legs.
"How did it go with Nicholas and Zachary?" I asked. The moment I spoke his features seemed to slope down; frown. That definitely wasn't a good response, even though he had yet to speak.
"They said if they can't have you they want you dead." He said with a bit of scratchiness in his voice. I froze. That was an even worse answer than I expected. I opened my lips to say something, anything, but nothing escaped.
"Don't worry, Anastasia, they won't get you. I have a whole army, they only have one another. And as long as I'm here you don't need to worry." He said in an almost whisper as he made his way toward me.
I must've been in shock because I didn't really hear much else after that.
A few moments later he placed a hand on my shoulder, which snapped me out of my trance. Despite the T-shirt I was wearing his cold hands seeped through the fabric.
"Look at me." He snapped. But I didn't want to. I didn't want to do anything, except get the hell out of that tower and run as far away as I could. I would've run even as far as the Muggle world.
Due to my unwillingness to look at him, Tom slid his free hand under my chin and used two fingers to lift my head up toward him.
His hands were cold- both of them, even despite the warmth the tower constantly provided, he was cold. Maybe it just runs in his blood.
I looked at him, my blue eyes meeting his. He must've been able to sense my emotion because I saw worry in his eyes as he studied me.
I didn't expect it, truthfully I didn't expect any of this, but he used his hand on my chin to pull me closer, close enough that my lips were able to touch his.
I really hadn't had much time to think about where I stood with Tom; wether I could put up with him or if I hated every inch of him. But, when his lips curled with mine every doubt I had seemed to fade.
Only a few inches separated us. My hands moved to his shoulders, his hands moved to both of my cheeks.
The kisses were so passionate and needed I finally felt the thing I had been looking for when I was with him all along; my safety. This was my safety. He was my safety.
His breathing grew more ragged and out of control as he seemed to fight the urge to tear off all my clothes and throw me onto the couch. He wanted this to last, for the safety I felt to last.
I felt more in a dream then I ever had. This whole time, for the moment Tom took me until now it felt like I was in a wild state of confusion and denial, but now I could see everything just how it was.
Tom's bedroom door swung open. We both stopped immediately to look at the culprit.
Adam was standing in the doorway, wide-eyed and lacking the ability to move or speak. My hands dropped from his shoulders and his hands dropped from my cheeks.
"I, uh-" Adam uttered out, his face still carrying the same terrified look as it previously did. "We have more members for recruitment by Watchman's Bay." He finally said, words coming out in a jumble.
Tom looked at me and offered a quick gaze into my eyes before walking toward Adam. They both preformed a teleportation spell, and just like that they both vanished.
I stood there for a few long minutes, rethinking everything that just happened. Basically Tom kissed me like we were the last two people on Earth while fighting the undying urge to shred my clothes off of my body.
I looked around then realized out of the blue I had been wearing the same clothes for the past two days. It was odd really that I hadn't even realized that.
I went into Tom's room to hopefully grab a t-shirt that could fit me, but I was more jaw-dropped at his bedroom.
A large king bed with a dark black comforter and a black headboard, tall windows lining two walls, a giant black wardrobe with sculpted lions, two giant dark bookshelves worn rows of books, a zebra print rug, and a dark grey desk with more books.
It was beautiful, really. It was like taking a peek into his wild mind. I stopped myself from dawning any longer and walked over to the wardrobe. It opened with a creek.
Inside were rows of clothes. Everything from t-shirts to suits. I rummaged through one of the drawers and grabbed a long black t-shirt. I then closed it up and went back into the living room.
Hoping anyone wouldn't appear in, I changed faster than lightning strikes the Earth.
Just as I pulled on the T-shirt that went all the way down to my knees, Tom appeared back between the living room and his bedroom.
He turned around and faced me, looking me up and down with a grin. "Is that my t-shirt?" He asked, raising an eyebrow. I paused for a moment then nodded my head.
"Yes, yes it is..." I answered. "I think I need a shower." I finished. He nodded and extended his hand for me to take. I did, and he performed the teleportation spell for what seems like the thirtieth time today.
We appeared back at the Riddle Estate. I recognized the pillar I had been tied to, and of course the enormous living room. He led me down a hallway and through a large bedroom.
From the bedroom we went through another door which led into the bathroom. It was the most beautiful thing I had ever seen.
A black marble bathtub in the middle of the room, a giant glass shower, two black marble sinks with complimenting gold mirrors above them, and a large sunroof just above the bathtub.
"Wow." I said in a gawking tone as I looked around the room. Tom tucked his want back into his suit pocket then led me toward the shower, fingers still locked with mine.
Upon arrival he let go of my hand then stepped inside the shower and turned it on. He stepped back out, somehow managing not to get a single drop on himself.
"Shall we?" He asked, a large grin on his face as he stated at the water tricking down the shower heads. I looked at him and knitted my brows together. There's no way he just said we.
"We?" I asked. I hoped I had heard him wrong, mostly due to the fact that showering with my kidnapper sounds like something odd to write in my report when I finally make it out of this place.
"You are my prisoner. I can't just let you shower alone." He said with a devilish grin, unknotting the tie around his neck. I felt my confidence drop into the pits of my stomach.
"You have got to be kidding me." I said with disgust in my voice. He turned around as he unbuttoned his shirt, a clever twinkle in his eyes.
"Get undressed before I rip off your clothes for you." He said defiantly.
