<Chapter fifteen>
|𝐅𝗼𝗼𝐭|

The turtles brought you with them for another mission against your will. You were just getting ready for a job interview when Raph literally snatched you and took you with them.

"Can you guys explain why were at the zoo? I swear if–"

"NOTHING!" Raph blurt out. "Uh...we...we just thought it'd be a good idea for y–you to kick some butt again? You didn't go on our mission to get web goo from Big mama."

"I thought I told you about my situation with her." You stated.

"Oh, right...you're going anyways."

You sigh before climbing up a pillar. You turn to Donnie for answers. "Donnie, what going on? Why are we here?"

You could feel everyone getting nervous. Something wasn't right. You peak your head above the roof to see–

"DraxUM?–" You were pulled back down by Leo.

"Not good." Raph whispered.

"Goddammit! I knew something was off! You knew I wouldn't come if he was here." You whispered angrily. "I am NOT doing this. I have a job interview to be at, Goodbye."

"But Draxum is back to kidnapping humans and animals." Raph argued.

"Oozesquito!" Mikey cried. "If Draxum uses his bug to mutate the rhino and the warthog, we'll be outmatched!"

Everyone started complaining. You rub your temples tiredly, you were too tired to argue with them right now. "Look guys, I–"

"Huh, what? Mystic metal?" Donnie questioned. "That is a first."

You watched as the bug flew around Draxum, only for him to swat it away.

"What thE–" Leo's eyes widen. "He just swatted away an oozesquito!"

This caught your attention.

"What are you up to, old man." You muttered to yourself.

"Allow me to distract him with my multidimensional reflective orb neutralizer!" Donnie exclaimed.

A disco ball appeared from his staff.

"...that's a disco ball... I'm leaving." You climb down the pillar.

"Wait no, (Y/N).." The guys complained.

You walked out the zoo, ready for the job interview...at least April will be there to help you out.

You enter the shoe store with a smile. You successfully got the job at the Foot Shack with April.

You saw a short person trying on some sandals.

"Hey, April, we should check if he needs help."

"Hm? Oh, yeah!" She smiled.

You help her with some boxes she held. You both walk up to the stranger. April decided to talk to them first.

"Hi, how may I–" She stopped talking as soon as she saw the customers feet. You both gag at the sight, dropping the boxes.

"...Imma go kill myself."

"No. Way. Splints, you can't be in here."

"Uhhh..you must have me confused with someone else. My name is Randall. I am an average teenage boy." Splinter lied, dabbing. His fur suddenly poofed up.

"What! Oh, man. You're totally gonna get us fired." April facepalmed. "You don't look anything like a teenager."

"I just got the job man, give me a break." You mumble.

"Hey average teenager." A random guy chimed in. "What kind of kickies you getting?"

Splinter smirked looking at both of you. "I will take a size six!"

"...I swear to God imma kill myself."

April just rolled her eyes.

Splinter grabbed both you and April from your collars. "Do not be alarmed, but I suspect that your store is being run by the most evil forces to walk on the earth."

"You can not be for real." April sighed.

"The first job I get...and it might be run by villains...fantastic, she said with a hint of sarcasm." You rolled your eyes.

Both April and Splinter stare at you with a raised brow.

"...I've been hanging out with Donnie too much."

You see a buff man and a skinny old guy with foot paintings on their faces enter the store. You get up and decided to greet your bosses.

"Morning boss."

"...Morning, employee (L/N)." The old man greeted with his raspy voice. At least you think he's old...

You feel like you've heard his voice before...but where?

"Foot face!" Splinter called out.

April grabs hold of him, shutting his mouth. "Yeah, don't mention that. Our bosses are super–sensitive."

You all watch as the two men enter a vault. Splinter glared at them. "I must see what is in that vault!"

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no." You and April both grab his sleeves, dragging him out the store. "The only place you're going with that crazy theory is out of here!"

Splinter somehow managed to escape and run to an alleyway. You gasp and follow him, April following behind you.

"Splinter, get your a–butt over here!"

"Look! A skylight!" Splinter pointed out. "It might overlook the secret room."

He starts climbing the ladder. You and April try to catch him only to fail. You forget this rat is Lou Jitsu sometimes...you climb the ladder behind April. You hear screaming for a while, but when you turned around there was nothing.

April finally reaches the top, right after Splinter. "Splinter!"

"Its Randall!" Splinter yells as he falls through the window. Both you and April gasp and run toward him to check if he's ok.

You sigh in relief to see he was still alive.

"Make sure he's ok and carry him back up." April sighed, talking to herself. You leap down, landing safely on your feet. You catch April as she also leaped down. "No one will see anything and we can keep our job."

You stare below the railings to see your bosses speaking with a bunch of men who were all dress the same...

That's weird...

Are they some kind of cult?

"...ok. Maybe just a team meeting we forgot about." April whispered to you.

"Yeah..."

Splinter grabbed your collar, bringing you to the floor, causing you to drop April.

"Shh! Both of you, please, you do not know the great evil these men are capable of." He warned.

You three turn to see the buff man bringing in a cart covered. "Behold, warriors of the Foot Clan."

He pulled out the covers dramatically. Splinter started getting anxious, while you were falling asleep of how long it was taking to take those covers off. The covers finally revealed what was underneath, for it was...

Pump Sandals

"Our new spring line." Your boss smiled. "Aren't they beautiful?"

"...how dangerous.." You snicker.

"Wait a minute...pump sandals? That is a real thing?" Splinter started laughing. "The Foot Clan have turned into shoes salesmen."

"I told you." April whispered. You nodded in agreement.

Your boss continued speaking. "Which we will use in today's acquisition."

"Acquisition for what, high–heeled flip–flops?" Splinter joked.

You and April chuckle at his joke. Your boss open up a scroll showing an ancient armor. You felt Splinter panic. He got up, only for his spine to crack.

"Splinter, you alright?" You worried.

"No. I am too old and far too weak."

"For what?" April asked.

"The evil that is about to be unleashed."

"Wait, you mean the pump sandals?"

"...I want one..." You muttered

"No. A demon banished 500 years ago. That picture is a piece of the Krystal Yistal. No, no, no, no. The Kaitlin Yaitlin? No. The Kuroi Yoroi. Whatever. A mystic armor that swallowed the soul of the madman who wore it." He explained. "When he was finally defeated, the armor was scattered around the globe, but for centuries my ancestors made sure none of the pieces fell into the hands of the Foot Clan."

"...those guys? We work at an evil shoe store?" April cried.

"We can never catch a break...I swear."

"I did not believe the legend either, so I...unlike my ancestors was a bit more...chillaxed about my destiny..." Splinter scratched his neck nervously. "Instead of protecting humanity, ya–da ya–da, I chose fame and fortune. I dated starlets. Oh! Now I remember who Krystal Yistal was!"

"Good for you." You said boredly.

"...I raced cars , and–and I had a good time. I really, really, really, really, very really had a good time." He chuckled. "Did I mention I had a good time?"

"Yup, got that part." April flicked his nose.

"Who didn't?" You added.

"And while I danced through life, the dreaded Foot were regrouping. Once they collect the armor, their master will be freed. And there will be nothing that can save us."

"...mind blown!" April exclaimed. "Total game–changer! No way we can let them do this!"

"April is right. If what you say is true, then we will do anything we can to help you." You agreed.

You didn't want to fight anymore, you were tired, but if some demonic armor is going to ruin that for you, then you will keep on fighting till it's over.

You watch as the old man lead the Foot outside the store. "To the train station to seize the artifact."

"Not if my wrinkled old body has anything to say about it." Splinter glared at them.

He started dancing weirdly. You and April stare at him in concern. He successfully fixed his back.

"Uhhh–"

"Do not be afraid! I will protect you girls!" He grinned.

"...but we don't–"

He hopped onto the railings, only to slip off and crash into two Foot soldiers. You laugh at his stupidity as April grinned. "Just like you planned, right, rodel?"

"Randall!" Splinter corrected. He snatched a Foot soldier's mask and put it on. "You will never walk on the earth again...Shredder."

Foot soldiers entered a van. You turn to April, placing your hand on her shoulder. "April. It's too dangerous for you. Me and Splinter will go."

"...fine. We'll go in alone together." April muttered.

"No! Me and (Y/N) are going deep undercover, to make sure they never take even one shred of the evil armor." Splinter spoke up. "...please, give my love to my sons."

You smack his head. "You're talking like if you're dying. Shut up."

April took out her phone and texted the group chat.

April looks up from her phone at you, confused by you're obvious mistake as you snicker under your mask. She puts her phone in her pocket. You got a weird feeling all of a sudden.

"...why do I feel like I should be catching someone..." You mutter under your breath.

Out of nowhere, April's phone started ringing. Everyone turns to her annoyed.

"Employee O'niel, back in the store!"

April groans in annoyance. Splinter turns to who turned out to be Lieutenant Foot. "Rookie recruit Randall here, boss."

"Big fan of world domination." You added.

"...Get in." He ordered.

You both nod nervously and enter the vehicle. You sat next to Splinter.

"Ten bucks April is following us."

"Spread out! Alert me when you find it!" Lieutenant demanded.

Everyone nods and leave to find the object. You find a soldier taking a selfie, so you decide to appear besides him, making the peace sign.

"We look cute." You comment.

"O–oh–yeah." The soldier stuttered, slightly blushing at how close the two of you are. "We–we should continue searching."

"Right. Later." You wave as you leave.

You hear a loud noise. Already knowing who it is, you sigh.

"You should not have followed us." Splinter whispered to her.

"I wasn't gonna let you two do it alone." She stated, falling out the trash can.

"Since you will not go away, distract the foot so (Y/N) and I can grab the armor piece."

April nods and proceeds to distract the enemy. You turn to Splinter. "Let's go."

You both sneak past the soldiers and climb up a clock. You watch as Splinter reaches out for one of the clocks arms.

Now that you think about it...that piece looks a lot like–

"Hey!" Lieutenant called out. "What is that in your hands?"

"...Yo! No need to be buggin boss." Splinter hid the piece behind him, passing it to you.

Hey! That's the armor thing over there!" April distracted them.

"Hehe, not even lunch and I already save the world." He whispered.

"You mean we– wait a minute" you felt something coming. "...something's not right."

You turn to a window to see the turtle tank flying towards you two. You shove the metal piece in your pocket and swoop splinter from his feet, leading him out of danger.

"And he sticks the landing!" Leo announced.

"My sons!" Splinter gasped.

"Mystic Metal!" Donnie pointed at you.

You drop Splinter and raise your arms in defense. "Hold up–"

"Wait, what are the flame heads doing here?" Raph questioned.

"Excellent! The girl has the artifact!" The buff man exclaimed.

"Hand it over bozos! We've got a bigger fish to catch with that." Raph demanded, using Donnie's hand to point at them.

"Bigger than us!?" Lieutenant questions. "That hurts...ATTACK!"

You and Splinter stay in place as the Foot soldiers engage battle. April appears besides you. "Let the boys distract them. Me, you and (Y/N) jet."

"You two can jet. (Y/N) already has the piece, I must remain to ensure the Foot Clan never rebuilds the armor" Splinter explained, eyes closed. "Do not try to talk me out of it."

He opened his eyes to find both of you near the escalators. "Okay!"

You both run down the escalators. A train appears and its doors open. You felt a presence...

Something isn't right...

"April... Don't enter there...."

"What, why?"

"...Something is inside... I can feel it."

"But splints said they can't get the armor piece. We need to get away."

"...we can find another way out."

"Where? We're underground. There is no other place to go."

"...Fine."

"Just listen– wait, really?" April asked confused.

"Yes, you're right. Now let's go before they catch up to us." You ordered.

You both enter the train, flopping onto the seats immediately. You were definitely tired.

The lights started flickering. Purple vines broke through the seats surrounding the two of you.

"No.." You muttered. "No, no, no, no, NO!"

You banged on the window, trying to break it to escape.

"(Y/N)!" April called out.

You turn to see her trapped. "APRIL! NO! SHOOT! SHOOT! SHOOT! DRAXUM YOU–" Your mouth was shut by one of his vines as you were pinned down to the ground.

"Surprise." He grinned. "Missed me?"

"Hmph." You face away from him.

"Leave her alone ya' sheep!"

Draxum turned to April. "So you're April O'niel. How ironic."

You bite his vine off, allowing you to speak.

"Lay a finger on her and I'm taking those horns of yours and shove them right up your flat hairy *ss." You threatened.

"No cussing."

"You're not my dad."

"Hey, (Y/N)!" Huginn and Muninn waved happily.

You ignore them. You see April staring at you confused. You can tell she has a load of questions.

...you haven't told her about anything yet...Donnie tried convincing you to tell her the truth, but you weren't ready.

Draxum used his vines to break the floor above, right where the turtles and Splinter were. He walk towards you, reaching for your pocket as he grabbed the armor piece.

"Thanks for bringing it to me." He taunted.

"...clingy–"

He broke the doors with his vines walking towards Lieutenant Foot.

"Are you mad!? That stunt could have killed us!" Lieutenant stomped towards Draxum.

"Baron Draxum!?" Leo laughed. "Its like a bad guy convention!"

"Once again, my plan worked." Raph said confidently.

"For boys who claim they don't like me, they sure are clingy." Draxum stated.

"Wait a minute, you're working for these jerks!?" Raph asked.

"Correction: we are working together." Draxum corrected.

You wanted to laugh so badly.

"Except for these two, stealing our property."

He threw both you and April in front of Lieutenant Foot. You get on top of April, wanting to protect her. You won't let anyone hurt her.

"Unvine the traitor! So I can show her how we treat people who betray the Foot!" Splinter slid between you and the Lieutenant, pointing a sword towards you.

"I like this Randall kid." The buff man smiles at the Lieutenant.

Splinter shows you both your reflections, then Draxum. Both of you immediately understood his plan and nod quickly.

He sprints towards Draxum, jumping to attack him, only for his back to crack once again. "OH, NELLY!"

He flopped into the ground. He gasped for air. "Ok. Give me a quick ten. I'll be right with you!"

He starts dancing like last time, successfully fixing his back. The turtles noticed this and immediately knew who it was.

"FATHER?"

"IT'S POPS!?"

"What!?" Draxum turned to him quickly.

"No! Do not reveal– AUGH!" Draxum trapped Splinter with his vines bring him closer to him.

"You call this gutter of trash father? As if this could be the great Lou Jitsu."

You get up, arms still tied, running towards Draxum.

"At least he's a better father than you!" You yell.

You jump above him as he stared at you wide eyed and confused. You smirk as you headbutt him...

And hard.

"WhAT the hell!? How did that hurt, I have my helmet on!?"

Splinter was more than confused. Draxum has a kid? And how do you know that?

You felt dizzy. You forgot about his helmet. You felt a thick liquid dripping from your forehead. "Damn..I hit him that hard? Hehe..."

"You're bleeding!" April noticed.

"For real." You laugh.

Everyone stared at you full of concern. How the heck are you laughing in a situation like this? Are you crazy?

Yes.

Draxum tied your legs up, causing you to trip and fall to the ground.

Splinter struggled to escape Draxums vines. "I have been living large long enough. I shall no longer deny my destiny."

"HOT SOUP!"

"HAHA! I KNEW IT!" You called it.

You watch as Splinter breaks through his vines.

"Hot soup!?" Draxum's eyes widen in shock. "That same fire! I see it now, you are Lou Jitsu!"

The turtle entered in shock. "No! No way!"

"Randall's Lou Jutsu!?" Lieutenant asked. Both him and the buff man start to fanboy. "We love Jitsu for Justice! Punch chowder changed my life!"

While they kept on fanboying, you passed your pocket knife to her do she can free both herself and you. Once you were both free, you sneak towards the turtles who were frozen in shock.

"Psst. Guys! Over here!" April whispered, taking off her mask to grab their attention.

You take yours off as well. The turtles turn to the both of you. "(Y/N)!? AGAIN!? AND APRIL IS A VILLAIN TOO!?"

"aGAiN. No not again, we we're undercover with your father." You explain to them.

"That makes more sense." Mikey smiled.

"I'm sorry, again?" April asked.

Donnie turned to you, frowning. "You didn't tell her yet, did you?"

"...I couldn't bring myself to do it. I'll do it later."

"Whatever. Let's trounce these bozos!" April exclaimed.

You all engaged battle against the Foot soldiers. You and Raph went towards someone specifically.

"Power Smash Jutsu!"

"Sayonara you sorry excuse of a father!"

You both knock the air out of Draxum. Splinter stared at both of you in awe for two reasons.

One: Raph's mystic powers

Two: you two would make a really cute couple.

Draxum crashed into the wall, dropping the armor piece in the process. A train passes by, breaking it into smaller pieces. Lieutenant Foot created more Foot soldiers out of paper, sending them towards all of you.

Raph swoops you off your feet along with everyone else.

"We have to grab them!" Splinter ordered.

"There's too many of them! We've got to go!" Raph stated, placing Splinter over his shoulder.

"They must not get the Armor!" Splinter yelled.

Raph leaped, grabbing on to the end of the train. You all grab on to the train, glaring at Draxum.

At least that's over...

For now.

"(Y/N)" April called to you. You flinch, already knowing what gonna happen. "you've got some explaining to do."

"...Right."
