"You can do this April" you smile.

"Yeah.... I can do this, you've fought monsters, went to hidden cities, destroy robots you're- OH who am I kidding!? School dances are way more dangerous!" April cried.

"...what?-"

"Why am I here?" April walked away.

You and Mayhem drag her to the entrance.

"April, you'll be fine. I'll be there with you the whole time.." You reassured.

"Yeah, I guess so." She mumbles.

You pat her head, ruffling her hair a bit. She chuckled and grabs your hand, leading you towards the entrance. Mayhem teleported away.

"Why did you leave Mayhem?" You asked.

"I can't be like Seigal! The lizard boy. I gotta be cool." She breathed in and out.

You rest your hand on her shoulder. "You're cool either way. Don't let someone change who you are."

"Right!"

You give her a smile and walk towards the school entrance. You see a banner saying 'Homecoming'. You only came here because Draxum said he was making a surprise for you... And because you love dancing.

You walk next to April watching people take selfies with each other. April sighs in delight.

"Taylor Martin, the coolest girl in the school."

"Since when?" You scoffed. "She seems like a brat."

"(Y/N)! Be nice!" April scolded you.

"bE NiCe. Over my dead body. If she wants me to respect her, she's gotta earn it." You rolled your eyes.

"Please be nice to her. I really need friends." She pleaded.

"AhEm! Excuse me? What am I, a roach!?"

"No. You're different, you're like a sister to me." April explained.

"Oh..." Why does my heart ache?

"HEY! APRIL!" A guy called out.

You both turn to see a bald guy. What was his name again? Oh, yeah.

"Dale...Oh, no..." April mumbled.

"My favorite person." Dale smiled. "Oh! And who might you be?"

"Names (Y/N). I'm April's friend."

"N-Nice to meet you (Y/N)! I...I'm Dale" he offered his hand shyly.

You take his hand, shaking it before letting go.

"Hey. You going to the shindig? I usually wouldn't go to one of these 'dances', but me and (Y/N) actually got invited by Taylor Martin. You know, to sit at the cool kid's table. Soo..." April backed away taking you with her.

"I actually got invited too." Dale confessed.

"Oh... I thought she just invited us, but I guess you got invited too. Cool." She frowned. "Cool..."

You give her a side hug to comfort her. She look at you and smiles, hugging you back. You mouth the words 'Don't worry' to her.

"Let's go." You grin.

You three walk to the lunchroom doors. April opens the doors revealing a bunch of students focused on their phones, displaying a pink light from their phone.

You had a weird feeling about this place...

"Taylor Martin..." April noticed.

You watch the blonde girl giving you three a fake smile. April waves at her. She holds your hand, dragging you towards the barbie rip-off.

"April, Dale, (Y/N)! So glad you came." She laughed.

"Yeah..." You trail off.

Why was nobody dancing? It's called a school dance for a reason! Seigal walked past you four.

"Lizard boy." April shuddered.

"Sit!" Taylor pushes you three at a table full of weird people. "We were all just talking about the most amazing game, Hippo Crush!"

You shuddered in memory of Hypno. You will never forget that day.

"So fun." Everyone stared at you guys with no emotion, getting back to playing the game.

"Have you played it yet?" Taylor leaned in toward April's face.

You noticed her uncomfort and pushed Taylor away lightly. April thanked you quietly before replying to Taylor.

"I've been meaning to download it." April said with a shaky voice.

"How are we gonna be besties if you don't have the game?"

"Got it!" Dale smiles, showing his phone.

You give Taylor a glare. She glares back at you with a grin.

You both take out your phones to the play store. You find the game and try downloading it.

"𝙳𝚘𝚗𝚗𝚒𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝙽𝚘, 𝙽𝚘, 𝙽𝚘! 𝙳𝚘𝚗𝚗𝚒𝚎 𝚜𝚊𝚢𝚜 𝙽𝚘, 𝙽𝚘, 𝙽𝚘!"

"Oh darn! My phone died." You lied.

You were a perfect actress. Not even Draxum could figure you out.... Sometimes.

"Would you excuse me for a second?" April excused herself leaving the room.

You stare at everyone cautiously. You got up and walked to the dance floor, trying to get people to dance. But everyone was so addicted to their devices. You frown at your failed attempt.

You drag your feet towards the fruit punch table, serving yourself some.

"(Y/N)?"

You turn to see a guy with glasses calling you. "Who are you?"

"Oh! I'm Jason. We have chemistry together" he extended his hand towards you.

You gladly shook it. Finally, someone who isn't on their phone.

"Nice to officially meet you, Jason." You let go of his hand. "Were you also invited?"

"Yeah, but I came alone. My friends decided not to come." Jason frowned.

You give him a sympathetic smile. "Well, I'm here now. So, we could hang out together."

"Yeah. That'd be nice." He scratched his neck, his cheeks tinted pink.

Jason got a notification on his phone. He checked it out, smile fading. He seemed like a zombie.

"Jason, you good?" You shook his shoulder.

"...Yeah...Totally." He didn't take his eyes off his phone.

You felt uncomfortable. You walked away along with everyone. You follow them and find April talking to Dale.

"Dale...What's going on?" She asked. "Hey did Taylor tell us to go somewhere? Cool, cool, cool! I'm coming!"

"Did you get the game April? We could play together." Dale gave her a creepy smile.

You grab hold of April's shoulder carefully, pulling her close to you.

"What's going on?" She whispers.

"I don't know. But I've got a bad feeling about this." You stated.

You jumped at the feeling of someone touching your shoulder.

"(Y/N), April. Did you get the game?" Taylor smiled maniacally.

"I...totally got it!" April lied.

"My phone's still dead." You stared at her.

"Can I see it?" She leaned towards you.

April could feel you uncomfort and dropped her phone on the ground purposely.

"Oh. Darn. My phone. But the game is so fun!" April laughed nervously.

Taylor walked away with the other students. You both follow behind. You look behind you to see Mayhem on top of the lockers. You give them hand signals to find help.

This wasn't going to be pretty.

You sat down next to April watching the stage. You were biting your nails, a bad habit of yours. You had a really bad feeling about being here.

"Everyone give it up for the master magician and inventor of Hippo Crush!" Smoke took over the whole stage, making it hard to see who it was. But you didn't need to see him.

You already know just by the sound of his voice.

"Shoot." You muttered underneath your breath.

You started shaking and sweating. April seemed to notice, so she took hold of your hand to calm you down.

"Hypno-potamus!" He finished off, showing himself.

"April...if he sees me he's gonna kill me!" You whispered.

"Don't worry. We've got this." She tightened her grip slightly.

You and April walked away slowly while Hypno complained about some kid. You both made it towards the exit. April tries opening the door quietly.

But then again... It's school.

The door made a loud bang.

"-Wait. Wait a minute. Somethings not quite right." Hypno noticed.

He shined the light towards you and April. You avoided eye contact while April tried out her acting skills.

"We want to serve you." April said in a robotic voice.

"April...nO- not robots. Zombies." You reminded.

"...Oh, forget it!" She slammed the door open.

She grabbed your wrist and sprinted through the hallways. You take a glance behind you to see Taylor and some other kids following you two.

"In here! Hurry!" You demanded.

You pushed April into a classroom. You look around and see a closet. You grab April and get inside the storage closet. You put your hand over her mouth so she wouldn't make any noise.

You watch through a hole on the door as the classroom door opens.

"April, It's your BFF Taylor! I just wanna hang." She smiled wickedly.

You take this opportunity to escape. April opens the closet door slowly not making a sound. You both tip-tow towards the door.

Taylor turns around feeling a presence behind her. "GET THEM!"

You both dashed pass the students. April looks around trying to find a way out, while you have already thought about fifteen ways to beat up everyone and escape successfully without any critical damage.

You both hide inside the lockers. Taylor and her minions passed right by. You exit cautiously out of the locker. April flops onto the floor, dropping a hat.

"What the-"

"What the frick-frack!?"

April pulls you away from the hat as it started to glow. You fall on your back with April crushing you above.

"He's gonna make the whole school disappear! Permanently!"

"...Not bad-"

"(Y/N)! He's gonna make us disappear as well!"

"...just another highlight!"

You both turn to see a bunch everyone coming toward you two. You both run away as fast as possible.

You both find yourself in dead ends. April backs up to the lockers scared.

"Join us. Play the game. I love you!" Dale whispered the last part.

"Ayo!? Did he just confe-"

"Oh, no. He's so hypnotized, he would say anything." April cried.

"I don't think so man. He seems pretty genuine. Not gonna lie." You admitted.

All the students got closer to both of you. April started panicking, eyes turning pink. You pinned her to the lockers, covering the view of the phones.

"Don't worry April. As your older sister, it is my duty to protect you." You give her a smile. "Nobody will ever hurt you. I promise."

April gave you a teared eye smile. You both look up hearing a sparkling sound.

Mayhem appears from above. April catches them, embracing them. Mayhem teleports the three of you away.

"Mayhem! You came back! I'm so sorry about-"

You point behind her wide eyed.

She looks behind dumbfounded. "Yeah...NOPE!"

You both ran like track stars. Nobody can stop you now.

"Mayhem! Do you think you can poof us out of here!?" You ask."and why are you wearing a cheerleader outfit!?"

"Oh, no! You're exhausted. You must be out of poof juice." April worried about Mayhem.

"Poof juice is a thing!?" You questioned. "Since when, Do you have any!?"

"Don't worry (Y/N)! I've got this! You've protected me, now I'm protecting you!" April had a determined face. "They will listen to me! I'm APRIL O'NEIL!"

"Who?" You heard a familiar voice ask.

You see Jason standing a few feet away from you.

"Jason... We'll free you." You promised.

"Wait- is the the guy from the purple dragons?-" April asked confused before a vehicle rammed through the wall

You both duck and see Raph with Leo wearing... Gym clothing?

"...Um, is this A.P bio?" Leo grinned.

"Come again?"

"(Y/N) sweetheart. You're alright!"

"Yup, I'm good! What are you wearing-" April pushed you towards the vehicle.

"Drive!" She ordered.

Raph stepped on the gas petal making you lose your balance quickly. You look behind to see everyone running towards all of you.

"Where's the exit!" Raph questioned.

"No, we can't leave! Hypno's gonna make the school disappear."

You shouted. "Like that ugly kid that went viral."

"Yeah!"

"Another school is gonna disappear? These magicians are out of control!" Leo exclaimed excitedly.

You and April give him a glare.

"Leon. That wasn't funny." You stated.

"Oh. Right. It's your school, my bad!" He scratched the back of his neck.

"That mutant hippo hid doom hats all over the school! But it's gonna be fine. We have a plan!" April looked at you.

You caught on, giving her a nod. Raph stopped the cart, both the turtles hopped off. You went to the drivers seat, buckling your seatbelt.

"You've gotta break Hypno's spell and free my friends!" She continued.

Everyone stares at her with a raised brow, even Mayhem.

"Ok! Acquaintances! Just free everybody." She ordered.

You laugh quietly as Raph and Leo leave to fight Hypno.

"You ready, Yellow Submarine?"

"Ready if you're ready, Dancing Queen!"

"We still need a few more!" You exclaimed.

April and Mayhem have gotten most of the magic hats from the school while you ride the cart around the hallways. April and Mayhem slouch down tiredly on the seats. You stop the cart for a minute.

"You did good." You pat both their heads.

You continued to drive towards the exit at full speed. Two boys block the entrance. You cover April's eyes from the view of the devices.

"OUT OF THE WAY-"

You hear a noise from behind. The three of you turn to see the hats glowing.

"Oh, no!"

"We gotta do something." April said.

Mayhem squeaks grabbing a hat, teleporting all the hats away with them.

"Mayhem!" You both call out.

"We've gotta go. Now!" April demanded.

You nodded and rammed through the doors with no hesitation. You feel a strong gust of wind blow past you. You see everyone facing away from their phones, finally.

"We...did it?" You glance at April.

"I think so..." Mayhem teleports in front of April. She hugs them tightly. You smile and join the hug.

"Ugh! You two and your ugly cat destroyed my float!" She pointed at you specifically. "You did most of it!"

"Excuse me?-"

"Hey! Don't talk to my sister like that you brat!" April defended.

She walked up to her punching her in the face. You jump at the sudden action, smiling nevertheless.

"Thanks April." You hug her from behind.

"Nobody messes with my family." April turned to hug you back.

Dale walks towards both of you scratching his neck nervously. "Hey April. If you, uh, you know, don't have a date to the next shining, I-"

"Not now, Dale." April kept hugging you, while you pat her head.

You let go. "I have to look for someone."

"Who?"

"I'll tell you later." You wave.

You look around for someone with round glasses.

"JASON!" You call out.

Jason jumps at the sound of someone calling him. He turns to see you running towards him. You stop right in front of him.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt or have any headache?" You question.

"I-I'm ok! Thank you for your concern, but I should probably get going." He smiled nervously.

"Alright. See you tomorrow in class." You sigh in relief.

You walk away to find April wobbling. You pick her up, giving her a piggy back ride.

"Let's get you home."
