<Chapter twenty>
|Heavenly|

"Gracias, Señor Hueso!" You smiled widely as he handed you your check. Your instincts took over as you hugged him. It was a bit hard since he was a skeleton, but you didn't mind.

"No problem, Chiquita. You're one of my best chefs." He ruffled your hair, hiding his smile. "I owe it to you for being the only staff member to stay and for saving my restaurant."

"No problem, Señor." You nodded recalling todays event. "But please check your schedule next time, we don't want two mortal enemies almost destroying your restaurant again." You chuckle, pulling away from the hug.

"That was my fault. Perdoname." He apologized. You smiled, giving him a single nod. "What will you be doing with the money?"

"Well." You rubbed the back of your neck nervously. "I'm planning to move out of the turtles lair and get myself my own apartment." You explained rather excitedly. You almost have enough money, just a few more and you can finally move out.

"Well then, I hope you accomplish it." He ran his fingers through your (H/C) hair once again messing it up. You fix your hair and walked away.

"Bye Da—I MEAN!—Señor Hueso!" You walked away quickly, closing the door. You covered you're face in embarrassment, Hoping he didn't hear or notice what you were about to say.

"..." Only, he did. He smiled to himself joyfully. "Adios, Mija."

"I'm back." You announced once you entered the lair. It was quiet...

Too quiet.

You walked around, hoping to find someone. You came across Donnie's room to find him playing a video game. His room was full of trash. You walked inside quietly.

"Hello, Donatello." You greeted.

"Hello and Goodbye." He replied rapidly, not taking his eyes off the screen. You were taken back from his response, yet you let him be.

You walk out of his room, going to your own to finally sleep after a long day.

"Donnie, have you been playing all night?" Raph asked, watching his younger brother staring intensely at his game.

"Yes this is the best game of all time, now stop talking." He responded quickly, not looking away from the screen. His tiny avatar crushing an opponent. You honestly expected more...

"Really? This?" Leo stared at the game extremely confused.

"Oh, yes! Rank is rising!" Donnie exclaimed, ignoring his twin. "Oh I've gotta make it to number one, baby."

"You can play later." You stated. "Right now you should get dressed so we can go to that uhhh... what is it called again?" You turned to Raph.

"FanCon." He responded. "And if we're late we're gonna miss out on Jupiter Jim's swag!" He placed his hand on Donnies shoulder, shaking him gently.

"Uh, I'll meet you there." Donnie waved him off, still staring at the game. "I'm earning purple points to unlock sweet upgrades."

"Uhh..are you ok? Atomic lass is gonna be there." Mikey mentioned. "She's yours and (Y/N)'s favorite character from the extended Jupiter Jim Universe."

"Not gonna lie, she's lowkey fine." You look away with a blush on your face. You were actually excited to meet her in person and maybe get an autograph or selfie.

Raph decided to continue off Mikey's explanation. "She and JJ haven't spoke since—"

"We don't speak of that..." Mikey interrupted him.

Donnie got up and smushed his face against the TV. "Got to make it to number one."

"I know I say this a lot about Donnie, but—" Leonardo pointed at his brother terrified. "DEMON POSSESSION!"

Donnie grunted, glaring at his brother. "I'm fine!" He turn back to play the game.

The four of you glance back at each other concerned. It was clear that Donatello grew an obsession over the game. You stood behind while the other three left.

"See you later, Donnie." You place a small kiss on his head. You left saying nothing else. Donnie turned slightly, contemplating wether he should go or not.

...

Nah.

"What a night, baby!" Mikey exclaimed, who you were currently giving him a piggy back ride.

"Once in a life time!" Raphael agreed.

"We just shared a life—changing experience." Leonardo teared up. "Donnie, you're never gonna believe what just happened." You all walked into his room. Leonardo grabbed an action figure out of a shopping bag. "I know it'll never make up for it, but we got you a Jupiter Jim figure with real chopping action."

"Ten...so close to one." Donnie muttered to himself...wearing a lumberjack suit? "Nothing is gonna stop Bootyyyshaker9000."

Raph quickly jumped in front of the screen, blocking Donnie's view. "AHH! MOVE! MOVE! MOVE!" He hissed.

Now you were really worried...

"Dude, you ok?" Raph questioned. "You're dressed up like a lumberjack."

"It's a new upgrade I unlocked." Donnie proudly and pridefully showed off. "Not many have." He chuckled.

Leonardo swooped besides him. "How did you pay for that gear? Donnie? How'd you pay for that gear!?" Now glaring at him.

Donnie's eyes slowly moved towards a specific direction, to his brothers rooms. You all go to your rooms to check if your money is there.

You ran into your room to find Buddy and Shelldon hanging out with each other.

"Mom!"

"MamA!"

"Hey kids!" Your panted. You sprinted past them, searching your closet. You clear out everything until you found your savings.

It was all there. Nothing gone. You sighed in relief. You run back to the others to see their piggy banks destroyed mercilessly. You turn to Mikey who was sobbing at the sight of his piggy bank.

"He destroyed Mrs. Porky Coin!" Holding the pieces close to him. "I will avenge her!" He cried softly, hugging your waist. All you could do was rub his shell soothingly.

"And he doesn't seem to care he missed a literal once in a lifetime experience!" Leo remarked. He stared getting emotional. "It was (Y/N)'s first FanCon!"

"What do you do if someone you love is obsessed over something that's bad for them?" Raph asked himself.

Everyone just stared at one another, hoping to get some sort of idea.

"So, we've read every Internet Doctor article on how to treat Recreational Game Obsession Mania." Raph grinned proudly.

"RE—COM!" Mikey abbreviated.

"I just read the comments." Leo grinned. You chuckled, you only looked at the pictures.

"So now, we are all experts!" Raph exclaimed. You all heard loud stomps coming from the surface. Raph quickly swipes to the Daily News Channel to see a giant robot destroying the City.

"Maybe some action will snap Donnie out of it." Raph wondered. "You think?" He turned to you, wanting to know if it's a good idea.

"Maybe..." you placed your finger on your chin, signaling you are thinking.

"Let's do it!" Leo exclaimed, already on his way to his brothers room. You all followed behind him. "Donnie! Donnie! There's a giant mech destroying—WHOA."

You all enter to find Donnie seated on a very expensive gaming chair. It was...shiny.

"Nice chair—wait." Leo stopped himself. "Where'd you get that?" You also wondered how he got it, since he didn't lay a single finger on your money.

"I unlocked it...and now, I can ExPlOrE a whole new world to rule and—" you stopped Donnie from rambling, turning his chair to face you.

"Alright, listen here you little shi—" Raph smacked your head, interrupting your sentence. You rub your head slightly glaring at him, then turning back to Donnie. "You need to go! You're brothers need you."

Donnie turned his chair back around to face the screen. "I will be right there. You have my word."

You all walk out of his room obviously worried. "You guys go, I'll stay to see if he actually goes."

Raph nodded, leaving along with his two younger brothers. You sigh in disappointment, watching the soft turtle playing his game. "You need to go, your brothers need you."

"Why don't you go then, if you care so much?" He shot back.

"..." you bit your tongue.You simply turned and walked out.

"Shelldon. Where are you going?" You question the purple robot who was going out.

"I'm not Shelldon. I'm new Donnie!" He explained. "I'm gonna go help out my bros!"

"...what?"

"See ya later Mom!"

"No. None of that. You are not going out." You stop him. Bringing him close to you. "You're going to get yourself killed!"

"I'll be fine."

"No!"

"Yes!" He flew away.

"EMI!—SHELLDON!"

You panted as you finally reached Shelldon who was already with the others, posing on top of a building.

"Sup, guys? Donnie couldn't make it. I'm new Donnie, obscure science reference said with total confidence." Huh, just like his father.

"DONNIE!—" Raph yelled frustrated that Donnie broke his promise.

"I don't know, I like new Donnie." Leonardo smiled smugly.

"No, not Donnie." You took a deep breath. "Shelldon, let's go home now."

"It's new Donnie!"

"No, you're nOt—" Mikey moves your gaze upward to see a giant robot standing in front of you. It was— "Huge, HoLy ShI—"

"Looks like we've got a new mech villain on the scene." Leo joked.

The robots eyes started glowing, shooting laser beams at the citizens. You all run to find a open spot on the robot. Donnie would have loved to see this You thought. Too bad he stayed home.

"Attack!" Raph ordered, jumping on the robot. "Shelldon! Can you get a reading on who might be driving that thing?"

"Nah, It's new Donnie!"

"You are so grounded once we're home." You muttered. You and Mikey hopped on top of the machine's head.

"Let's see who's inside, guys!" Mikey followed behind you. "COWABUNGA!" Mikey threw his weapon towards the robot's head. Once it was secure, he grabbed your waist, pulling you along with him.

"MIkeY— waIT—" you start screaming as the robot swings both you and Mikey all over the place. You hung on to Mikey. You crashed into its head still holding on to Mikey. You groaned in pain.

When was the last time you fought a villain?

"Knock, knock, metal head!" Mikey opened th top of its head, only to find it empty. "WHAT!? No one is driving this thing!?"

"The f*ck!?" You shouted.

"Yeah! What the f*ck!?" Mikey agreed with you. He noticed a username on the screen inside. "Bootyyshaker9000?"

"Donnie!?" You both said anxiously, synchronized. You both the bit shake violently, causing you and Mike to fall. You hold Mike close to, as you land gracefully on the ground next to Raph and Leo. "You alright Mike?"

"Yeah." He sighed as you set him down. "Donnie's controlling the mech!" He warned his brothers.

"Say what now?" Raph questions.

"You're telling me that big ugly thing is Donnie? Pfft—" Leo held in a laugh. "Oh, I've so got this!"

"Leon, I don't think that's a good idea— and he ignored me." You watch as he passed right by you.

"Trust me, I've got a genius plan." Leonardo grinned confidently. He started waving his arms, catching the mech's attention to him. "HEY! DONNIE, ITS US YOUR BROTHERS!"

Donatello stared at his screen which showed four adorable bears as he raised his drawn eyebrow. "You know, I know these graphics aren't great, but points for solid writing!"

He continued pressing buttons. Attacking the tiny bears. "Maybe (Y/N) would like this game. She likes cute stuff."

"Oooookaaay, that's not good." Leonardo sweatdroped as the mech pointed his Laser beam at him. You all ran around trying not to get hit. You all eventually all climbed on top a building, standing far away enough to not get caught.

"We got to get a message to Donnie." Raph turned to you worriedly.

"How?" Mikey got up from the floor, face bruised. "He's not even responding to anything." He winced when you cupped his cheek gently. You place a kiss on his temple, giving him a headpat.

Leo, slightly glaring at his younger brother, thought of something. "What about our Recreational Game Obsession Mania training!?"

"RE—GOMT! That's it!" Raph smiled determined.

"Yes!" Mikey exclaimed. "We can have a heart to heart with him about how his gaming is hurting us."

Literally You thought.

Raph pushed Mikey away. "No! I'm going to use his obsession against him!" He explained.

"That...that actually makes sense in a way." You admit now that you think about it.

"Time for an upgrade!" Raph menaced.

"I think we're bad people—" Leo muttered behind him. A laser beam struck the roof you were all on. You all ran for your lives. You see Shelldon hovering besides you, you soon got an idea.

"Shelldon." You call out.

"It's new Donnie, Mom." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh, we're gonna have a talk..." you mumbled. "Take my phone and hook it up to that thing so we can give Donatello a message." You ordered.

"On it!" He went flying over to the mech, dodging every laser that came his way. He finally made it close without a scratch, hooking himself to the robot as he connected with it.

"Super exclusive upgrade!?" Donnie gasped. "YES!" He pressed the green button on the screen.

"DONATELLO HAMATO, IM GOING TO F*CKING KILL YOU!" You yelled bringing the phone close to your face. "THE MECH IS REAL, STOP PLAYING THE GAME, DONNIE!"

"Wow, it feels so life—like." He stared at the screen in awe. "And again, ace writing."

"DONNIE, STOP! THE GAME IS REAL!" You pleaded. Donnie stood there confused, scratching the back of his neck. You showed the robot that was currently copying his same movements.

"Oh, that's not good." He wanted to hide now. He quickly tried exiting the game. He pressed the button over and over again, unable to get out the game. "Uhhh, I can't quit out. What is happening?" His wrists locked up, along with his legs. "This was not covered in the user manual!"

"We meet again, Bootyyyshaker9000." Kendra spoke through the screen, smirking, also cutting connection with you. "Or should I call you Othello Von Ryan? or should I call you Donnie?"

Donatello cringed at the sound of Kendra saying his name. He hated it. Oh, but when his name rolled out of your tongue, it felt— heavenly—he felt superior, better than anyone else. He can't deny the fact that he actually loves you at this point.

"Oh, the purple dragons, I should've known!" He glared at them, before smirking. "How's house arrest?"

Kendra snickered, ignoring Donatello's question. "Yes, it is us, The Purple Dragons." Showing off both Jason and Jeremy. "The greatest teen hacking duo of—"

"Uh, trio—" Jason corrected.

"Shut up." She smacked his head. "Jase, you are on thin ice!"

"I know I said the plan seemed insane, but it totally worked!" He grinned, fixing his glasses.

"We wanted our revenge and you played your part perfectly." Her smirk growing wider. "You almost destroyed your own brothers AND your little girlfriend!"

"She's not my girlfriend!" Yet he thought. "And yes, only I didn't!" He smirked. "Mostly!...mostly..."

"While we would've really enjoyed watching you smash them, watching you watch us smash them will be just as nice!" She grinned menacingly.

Donnie's eyes dilated at the thought of you gone. He tried breaking out the locks as he watched the mech follow you and his brother around, wanting to terminate you all.. "Make it stop! How are you controlling it!?"

"The tech is now fully self—operational!" Jeremy laughed. "It's AI learned from how you played the game. It's the—"

"Jeremy! Just wrap it up already." Kendra sneered, switching to show what was actually happening in real life.

Donnie watched as you held a tired Mikey on your back, while running alongside Raph and Leo screaming for Pete's sake. "(Y/N)! Brothers!"

Donnie grunts as he tries to break free from the chair, only for it to tip over and fall.

The mech finally caught up to you. You all stare at it defeatedly. "Ah sh*t, here we go again—"

*BOOM*

The mech removed its fist away from the build to see you all gone, only a portal that was just disappearing. You all appear from above from a portal Leonardo had just opened, hanging on to Raph.

"I guess we've gotta hit it harder!" Raph pounded his fists together, activating his mystic powers. "BOOTYYSHAKER, TIME TO MEET FACE KICKER!" The mech caught the kick easily in mid air as you all sweatdropped.

"Uhhh...hi?" You wave nervously. It started crushing all of you with his fist. You groan in pain, feeling your bones being crushed little by little.

"Donnie, you've gotta stop this." Leo groaned. It just crushed you all harder. "I LoVe YoU, aNd YoUr GaMiNg Is HuRtInG mE."

"Like, DeAd*Ss." You bit your lip. You were bracing for impact as the mech lifted its arm to finish you once and for all. Mikey and Leo hid their faces into your neck, scared, and you couldn't do anything.

This can't be how it ends you thought. There's still many things I want to do.

You look up slowly to see the robot glitching. You hear a noise from afar. You turn to see Donnie hovering while still trapped to the chair. "CHEAT CODE, BABY! Let's finish this."

You smile now knowing Donnie wasn't the one controlling it. And you can already guess who it is. Donnie's battle shell pulled out a laser gun of its own, shooting the mech, right through its head. You all scream as you fall to the ground.

Donnie quickly flew towards all of you, tapping your heads to wake you up. "Guys, guys! Are you ok?"

Mikey immediately got up, gripping his brothers shoulders harshly. "You hurt Mrs. Porky Coin! I will have my—" he groaned in pain m, slowly falling to the ground.

Donnie frowned and brought you all in into a hug. "I'm just glad you guys are safe." He smiled genuinely, pulling you all into a hug with his metallic robo—arms. "And you don't know how sorry I'm am."

You winced in pain as you lifted your arms to wrap them around his neck. "Heh...I'm proud of you Donnie..." you saw black spots taking over your vision. "Good job." You passed out on his shoulder.

His aura practically beamed with joy when he heard those words. That's all he ever wanted to hear his whole life—and it finally happened. He wanted to hear you say it again—no.

He needed to hear you say that again. And he'll do anything to make it happen. It seems like Donatello found himself a new obsession.
