*So, many of you are thinking Mikey will go over the Obsession Percentage, no. He will not, only the characters I find rather...mentally unstable. That's all I have to say! You may continue.

<Chapter thirty>
|Her|

"Buy a cookie and help me save trees! Without trees there'd be no air. Without air there'd be no us. Think of the trees people!"

April shoved a box of cookies into some guy trying to advertise 'save the trees' who just whimpered and ran away. She sighed as she gave up and sat on the floor disappointed.

"Try Grandma CJ's brownies and you'll see just how good a brownie can be. Way better than a cookie." A blonde little girl across from her snickers as she smirked mockingly.

"And the list of my failures continue to grow. That crashed harder than my aviary club, Miniatures club, Magician assistance club. That was just Tuesday!" She counted, throwing he hands behind her head.

"Sounds like you could use a little help."

April jumped at the sudden voice. She turned to see you leaning on a tree, wearing a hat to cover your horns.

"You're in! Thank you!" She hugged you close.

"No problem." You pat her back. You've learned a few things from Splinter that might help out April. "Alright April just remember this. When making a sale, you are not selling the cookie, you are selling an idea."

"How do you know this stuff?" April questioned.

"Splinter." You replied. "Now go!"

"Okay you can do this O'Neil." She gave herself a pep talk, breathing in deeply. "People of New York, are you enjoying the sunny spring day? The outdoors, the breathing of air, buy this cookie!" She smiled gesturing the pastry she held in her hand. People actually came closer to listen to her speech.

"OR THERE WONT BE ANYMORE AIR!"

Everyone was frightened by her tone of voice, making them all run away.

"HAH!?" She grew confused why everyone ran.

You laugh quietly as you place your hand on her shoulder. "Don't sweat it April."

"You try." She handed you the cookie gently.

"Uhhh—I don't know..." you grew nervous, you hate speaking. "I can try."

You walked up to the middle of the sidewalk, sweating somewhat nervously. Cookies...kind of reminds you of Mikey. You're gonna have to improv.

"Remember this smell?" You sniff the cookie as you catch everyone's attention. "Piping hot chocolate chip cookies like momma and papa used to make. it brings me to simpler times." You recall your moments with your family and Oujirou.

"Times when I had my papa to kiss my boo boos to read me stories and tuck me in at night." You smiled sadly. Everyone wipes their tears as they listened to your lovely speech.

"Would anyone like any cookies? They are made with love." You smiled softly.

It fucking worked.

Everyone came over to Aprils cookie stand with money in their hands. Cheering for you. You ran to April and hid behind her. You both start grabbing everyone's money, giving people their cookie boxes.

"I don't currently take Mandarin, Spanish, Swedish and Flemish to be outsold by these banes!" The same girl from across, selling brownies sneered at the sight of the two of you.

"Julia Grandma CJ wants to see you." Another little girl taps her shoulder. She didn't miss to see the horrified expression on Julia's face.

"Huh?!"

꧁꧂

At a CJ H.Q, Julia stood in front of her boss who had a face of disapproval.

"Boss I know sales are down. But you got to believe me, It's not my fault!" She spoke anxiously. "There's this new super cool and beautiful teen swinging cookies like rocks.!"

"The pheasants of desserts are beating my brownies!?" THIS WILL NOT STAND!" The boss banged their fists on the table.

"Excellent. I shall crush our chocolate chip enemies between my firsts." Julia stood firmly.

"Now! Bring them to me!" They ordered. "these fashion forward punks are either going to work for me or they'll never go to work at all!"

꧁꧂

"Eighty, ninety, ninety—five...one hundred thirty—five dollars!" You exclaimed. "We did it!" You hugged her.

"You did." She backed away with a frown. "No one took a pamphlet except that one who used to wipe the cookie of his face." She slumped into the floor, hiding her face into her knees.

"Okay, that's it. What has gotten into you?" You sat next to her. "You're not usually like this."

"I could raise a single dollar to plant new trees. I'm such a failure!" She cried, hugging her knees closer to her.

"Don't ever say that shit ever again!" You grab her by the shoulders. "April, you are not a failure. You are—"

You both turn to look around, only to see the Girl Scouts from before with backup pointing weapons at the two of you.

"Girls could you give us a minute? I have a friend in need of counseling." You shoo them away. "Plus, I was just ramping up to a life changing speech."

"The only thing you're ramping up to is a meeting with Keats and Fitzgerald. I read at a 10 grade level." Julia snarled.

You and April blacked out as the girls punched the light out of you two. How the fuck!?

꧁꧂

"What the fu—"

"WHY ARE YOU HERE!?"

Your eyes shot open to see Cassandra standing in front of you with an enraged expression. You try getting up, but your were tied up.

"I didn't come here, your little scouts kidnapped me—"

"you're here to stop my world takeover! AREN'T YOU!?" She accused.

"World take over?" You question.

"YES!" She exclaimed.

You look around her 'office' to see her name is—"as Grandma CJ?" You question deadpanning.

How absurd, you thought.

"Brownies are the key. You sell enough you get to meet everyone. Fortune five hundred CEO's, Mayors, world leaders. Once everyone knows our brand we'll be able to get into any office in the world. Even the oval one!" Cassandra explained.

"Sounds...complicated." You sweatdropped. You're not really good at math or this type of government shit. "How long is this going to take?"

"Based on my projections and facing inflation and natural disasters of the Coco Region tit should only take—" her eyes widen. "TEN YEARS!?"

You tilt your head to see her face, her eyes welled up with tears as she started crying.

"...want to talk about it?"

꧁꧂

"You know those Foot Clan guys they never really treated me right," Cassandra blew her nose loudly. "but we were doing cool stuff. You know, like trying to raise the Shredder. You do that and your top dog. The world is your oyster to crush. Now I'm looking at brownie projections and watching the next ten years just bake by." She buried her face into her knees.

Good thing I killed them, you thought.

"I'm a failure!" She cried.

Just like April and...Emi, you though

"Just because you failed doesn't mean you're a failure. You're focusing only on the negative, not the positive." You stated. Something you wished your father had told you when you were younger.

"What do you mean?"

"Well, let me tell you about two people I know.." you sigh, scooting your chair closer to her. "They also thought they were a failure. They are incredibly tenacious and capable. Not everything they do works out. But that never stops then from trying."

꧁꧂

"Onee—San!" Emi ran into your arms.

"I'm a failure!" She cried as she held on closer to you. Your eyes widen slightly at this.

"Says who?"

"Me!" I can do that stupid move Otou—San wants me to do!" She looked up to you with tears swelling up in her eyes. "I keep failing!"

"Just because you failed doesn't mean you're a failure." You run your hands through her hair. "You're focusing only on the negative, not the positive."

"...huh?"

"You can't expect to get it at the first try, that's not how life works. If it was, I would be just as good as Outo—San!"

"But you are!"

"No I'm not, I still have a lot of things to learn." You give her a small smile. "But don't give up, you are still young."

Emi whimpered as she hugged you

"Don't ever leave me Onee—San! Promise me!" She cried.

"...I promise."

꧁꧂

"They could fail again. And again. And again, But despite their many failures they never give in. They always finds a way forward. You remind me a lot of her—them! I mean them." You correct yourself before continuing. "Your passion, you three strive for greatness."

"And maybe brownies are not your key to world takeover, but if anyone was going to take over the world with brownies I doubt they could do a better job than what you have" you joke.

She teared up, blowing her nose once again as she hugged you. You would hug back, but you're still tied up.

"Thank you Onee—San!" She smiled genuinely. "You're a great listener."

"I'm pretty sure I did most the talking—you know what? That doesn't matter." You shrugged it off. "You haven't called me that in...eight years I believe?"

"Heh, yeah." She scratched her neck nervously. "How could I forget..." she uttered. "Eight years since our first encounter."

꧁꧂

You hear a loud grumbling noise close by as you cooked another innocent animal. You get up to check it out, only to find a younger girl sitting on the ground hugging her knees close to her.

"Are you hungry?" You ask.

She gave you a single nod.

"Follow me, I have some food."

The younger girl got up and followed behind you like a lost puppy. She was excited to eat something, even if it isn't that good. You sat back down to cook the rat meat. She sat across from you, staring hungrily at the meat.

"You're really hungry." You remarked. "Don't worry, it'll be done soon."

"Ok." She replied.

"What's your name?"

"Cassandra Jones. You?"

"(Y/N) (L/N)." You replied nonchalantly as you take out the cooked rats and hand it to her. "Now eat, you'll need energy."

"Thank you (Y/N)—San!"

"No problem." You pat her head.

꧁꧂

"You feel like things are gonna be different now on. From this day forward." She stood up firmly. "I will be your recruit!"

"Come again?" So she's just gonna ignore the fact I killed the leaders of the foot clan?—

"I will do anything for you, Onee—San! You saved me from starvation that day, so I'll protect you from any harm! I owe you my life!" She smiled determinedly, cutting off the ropes.

You've heard that last line many times from Raphael, only Cassandra's is more...genuine than obsessive.

Cassandra immediately pulled you in for a hug, she hasn't hugged you in eight years...You haven't hugged you little sister figure for eight straight years.

*THUD*

You both turn to see April falling from a vent with her hair messed up and glasses tilted.  "LET HER GO!"

"Make me!" Cassandra pulled you aside.

"Everyone calm down. I'm sure we can all find a way to get along." You smile nervously.

"Enough! Talks cheap" Cassandra sneered.

"I could agree more." April glared at her.

"Y'all calm your asses down!?" You snap. They both turn to you, surprised by your sudden outburst. "See how much you have in common? Do I need I say more?" You gesture their behavior.

"April, Casey, you both have more things in common than you think!"

"I refuse to believe that!" Cassandra shook her head.

"At least do it for me, please?" You 'pleaded'. You knew exactly what you're doing, her eyes widen slightly as she bowed down.

"I'm sorry Onee—San! I will make it up to you!"

You smile softly at her. April stared at the two of you confused. "Does that mean she's on our side now?"

"I'm on (Y/N)'s side!" Cassandra corrected.

"Same thing." You noted. She pouts as you rub her head gently. She leaned slightly to your touch, she hasn't gotten any of your head pats in a long time as well.

April was skeptical, but if she's on your side, then she's on their side. "Looks like another typical April Oneil failure." She muttered to herself, disappointed in herself for not being able to save you.

You smack her head gently. "April, you are not—"

"I did take out a troop of lethal little girls." She recalled.

"Yes—I'm sorry what?"

"And I got myself free with a walnut! A walnut!" She exclaimed.

You chuckle at her excitement. "I told you, you aren't a failure." You pull her into a hug. "None of you are."

April felt something grow inside of her, a new and extreme feeling she never experienced before.

Something that craves you, she can't do anything without you. You were the reason she believed in herself, now she must depend on you.

"Thank you (Y/N), I could not thank you more." She hugged you back.

Your eyes widen as you felt her aura, it was like Raphael's...Ah man, here we go again.
