MAYBE IT WAS the ringing in Indigo's ears, but static erupted the dropship. Indigo could barely hear Bellamy's crackled voice through the radio.
"Murphy, what the hell are you doing?" Bellamy urged, his tone scolding, full of venom. Murphy didn't respond to Bellamy's question and instead stepped over Jasper's unconscious body.
Indigo let out a shaky breath, as a light amount of crimson trickled down her foreheadโ from the harsh contact to the ground of the dropship.
Murphy then pulled the lever, that opened the dropship door. Which caused the large doorโ that was always openโ to close.
The door made a loud craning noise, as it lifted. Indigo swallowed thickly, as the door continued to close. She could hear shouts from Bellamyโ but her ears were ringing so much that she couldn't even tell what he was saying.
"Murphy!" Bellamy shouted, "Murphy!" he repeated, "Open the damn door!" he shouted at the dropship, trying to get through to Bellamy.
"You try to be a hero, Jasper, and your girlfriend dies." Murphy shouted back at Bellamy, while the dropship door fully closedโ making a loud 'bang!' noise.

Indigo had her hands tied behind her back, while Jasper had the same. The two hostages were sat next to one another. For some odd reason, Jasper had his mouth coveredโ but Indigo didn't.
Full of anxiety, Indigo tried her hardest to seem stern and not scaredโ although a knot tied itself in her throat, making her want the cry at the thought of her dying at the hands of Murphy.
Murphy approached the two, who instantly glared at him. Murphy had a blank look on his face, as he knelt in front of themโ a cloth in hand.
He then went to lift the damp cloth towards Indigo, who instantly pulled back, "What the fuck do you think you're doing?" she snapped at him, as he let out an annoyed sigh.
"It's for your head, smartass." Murphy snapped back at her, lifting the cloth to her face again. Indigo tried to pull back again, but the cloth was already cleaning up the small wound on your forehead.
"Why are you doing this?" Indigo asked, referring to holding them hostage, her tone full of venomโ trying to keep her cool. Murphy scoffed, and pulled the cloth from her head, his gaze flickering between Jasper and Indigo.
Indigo tried not to let her voice waver to the best of her ability. She was scared shitless, but she couldn't show it,
"Why do you think?" he asked, and Indigo raised an eyebrow at himโ biting back the pain that stung the wound on her head.
"That's not answering." Indigo scoffed, looking at Jasper, who had a scared expression, the cloth tied around his mouth practically dug the corners of his mouth.
She gave him an assuring look for a moment before Murphy stood up straight, leaving the two, without a response. Indigo then looked back at Murphy who was now covering Myles's body with a tarp. Indigo stared at the tarp-covered body for a moment, before flickering her horror-filled gaze to Murphy.
"Why haven't you covered my mouth?" she asked, "Because I talk more than Jasper, so it wasn't logical for you to shut him up, but not me." she half liedโ Indigo was usually quiet, but in this situation, she would have to force herself be more vocal than Jasper would be.
Murphy pondered whether or not to tell her, "Well," he shrugged, and gave her a smug look, "just in case we need you to bribe Bellamy."
"We?" she asked, raising her eyebrows at him, "There is no 'we'." she scoffed, "Bellamy's smarter than that. A bribe wouldn't work."
Murphy pressed his lips into a thin line before speaking, "No, it would." he eyed her, "For you, he would." Murphy smirked at her, and Indigo immediately shook her head.
"No-" Indigo went to argue, but Octavia's shouting voice was muffled from outside of the dropship, causing the three in the dropship to immediately look at the door of the dropship.
"Murphy!" Octavia shouted, "Murphy, if you even touch either one of them, I swear to god you're so fucking dead!" she screamed at the dropship but then was quickly shut down by someone elseโ Bellamy.
Indigo felt a spark of hope at the sound of her best friend's voice. It fell quiet again, only some murmuring from random campers outside could be heard.
Static then swished the air of the dropshipโ coming from the radio that sat on a nearby table, "Murphy," Bellamy's voice sounded through the walkie-talkie.
Indigo could cry at the sound of his voiceโ but obviously, she didn't.
"Murphy, I know you can hear me." Bellamy spoke through the handheld radio again, "All our ammo and food is in the middle level." he said, "You know that. You're leaving us vulnerable to an attack." Bellamy informed, "I can't let that happen."
Murphy angrily picked up the radio from the table, and lifted it to his mouth, "Yeah, well, in case you haven't noticed, you're not exactly in control right now." he seethed through the radio.
Bellamy paused a moment, "Come on, Murphy." he spoke, amusement dancing in his tone, "You don't want to hurt them. You want to hurt me."
Static filled the room for a moment again. Indigo felt a worry wrap around her. There was no way that Bellamy was giving himself up.
"So, what do you say?" Bellamy asked, "How about this;" Bellamy began, and Jasper and Indigo traded a worried look, "You trade them both for me."
"All you have to do, is let them go, and I'll take their places," Bellamy said in a calm voice, the radio crackling through each word.
Indigo shook her head at his wordsโ even if he couldn't see her, she was disapproving of his movement. Indigo sharply inhaled, looking over at Jasper, who very obviously disagreed too.
Murphy then looked over at the two, staring at them for a moment, "How?" he asked, his tone low, full of curiosity.
"Simple." Bellamy responded after a moment, "You open the door, I walk in, they walk out." Bellamy explained, which caused Murphy to look at the two again.
It was quiet. Murphy didn't say anything. He
slowlyโ hesitantly, walked towards the lever that opened the door. Murphy then finally pulled the lever, causing the door to start opening.
Indigo's stomach dropped as soon as Murphy's hand touched the lever, "Wait," Indiho began, and Murphy gave her an odd look, as the door slowly lowered, "Just, um, kill me." she stammered, "It's a win-win." Indigo tried to bargain, but Murphy just stared at her with an annoyed expression, "You'll kill get to someone, and then-"
"Just you Bellamy!" Murphy shouted out the dropship, while the tarp still hung over the opening, "Unarmed!" he added on, "Ten seconds or I'll put one in Indigo's leg!"
Indigo stared at him feeling sick.
"One..!" he shouted, behaving to count down, as murmuring came from outside, "Two..! Three..!" Murphy continued, "Four..! Five..!"
Murphy then moved the gun in his hand to aim towards Indigo's leg. Indigo's breathing was quick, she felt like someone was choking herโ she felt like she couldn't breathe.
She stared down at her thigh, feeling a burning sensation as if he had shot herโ her mind was running so fast that she thought she might pass out.
"I'm here," Bellamy shouted into the dropship, as he stood close to the opening of the dropship, his voice closer. He then pulled on the tarpโ coming into Indigo's view.
Bellamy's eyes immediately darted to Indigo's then to
Jasper'sโ giving them an... apologetic look?
Murphy then quickly pulled the two's sleeves to their jackets and harshly pushed them out the tarp of the dropship. The two tumbled down the door, and onto the ground.
Indigo couldn't even comprehend what was happening, it was like it was all happening too quickly.
Indigo cursed as her head throbbed with pain. Her vision was blurry as she sat up, and the dropship door began to rise. Octavia then quickly unturned the two and helped them stand. Octavia held on to the two's arms, pulling them up to their feet.
Indigo just stared at the locked-up dropship, a frown etching her lips. She couldn't lose anyone elseโ she already almost had lost Bellamy before.
Murphy was going to kill Bellamy.

Coming up with a plan was easyโ but actually falling through with the plan would be hard to do.
"I can still go through the loose panel behind the dropship," Raven told the group that was in a small circleโ that consisted of Raven, Indigo, Octavia, and Jasper.
"Do it," Indigo responded almost immediately, not even waiting for her to finish explaining her plan. The group
stared at Indigo, as she had an almost stern look on her face
"Look, Indigo, it's easier said than done." Raven said, crossing her arms over heels chest, while her mind ran a million miles an hour, "I have to be quiet, and finding the wires of open the door could take too long."
"Well, we don't have time for 'too long'." Indigo sighed,
and rubbed her temples, her head pounding, "Can you do it?" Indigo asked, darting her gaze to the spacewalker.
Raven had a determined look on her face, "Yeah, but I'll need help." she glanced at Jasper, and Indigo nodded, looking towards the boy who had a guilty expression.
"Okay," Indigo began, "I'd do it, but I'm shit at anything that has to do with technology." she said, "So, Jasper?" Indigo asked trying to ease the question into the conversation.
Jasper nodded, "Yeah, I'll do it." he said in a hesitant voice, almost unsure if he could handle the weight of Bellamy's life on his shoulders.
โ. โ: *.โฝ .* :โ๏พ. โ
Indigo lifted the loose panel that was on the back of the dropship. Raven nodded at Indigo and quickly crawled into the opening, Jasper quickly went to go in, but Indigo stopped him.
"You can do it." Indigo whispered assuranceโ hearing Bellamy's voice in a murmur, "I know you can." she gave him a small smile.
Jasper gave her a nod and a mustered smile, before crawling into the small opening. Indigo sighed, and set the panel, she held, down.
Indigo then crept away from the back of the dropshipโ trying not to make any noise. Once Indigo was fully away from the ship, she let out a shaky breath, before heading back towards the front of the ship.
Octavia stood at the entrance of the shipโ a frown plastered over her lips. Almost all of the camp were holding guns behind herโ waiting for Murphy to come out of the ship. Indigo moved to stand beside the younger girl, not saying anything.
"He'll be okay." Octavia said aloud, "Right?" she turned to ask Indigo as if her answer would save Bellamy. Indigo gave her a small nod.
"Yeah." Indigo swallowed thickly again, "He will." she said, almost as if she was trying to convince herself that. Octavia nodded and kept her grip tight around the radio she held.
The two girls stared at the dropship, waiting for something to happenโ anything. Anxiety flowed through both their veins, and they couldn't take their eyes off the large piece of metal that they fell from the Ark in.
A loud gunshot then rang in the large metal can, causing the two girls to look at each other in unison. Octavia quickly lifted the walkie-talkie to her faceโ her breathing and hands shaky.
"Bellamy?" she spoke to the radio, but there was no response, "Bellamy!" Octavia exclaimed, "Are you okay?" she asked, desperation coating her words.
Indigo felt something break inside her at the sound of silence.
Nothing but static was heard from the walkie-talkie, which only made Indigo shake her headโ wanting everything to be simple.
"Bellamy!" Octavia yelled into the radio again, "Do you copy?" she asked, her tone wavering, holding back any kind of cry.
Indigo then put her hand outโ silently asking Octavia to hand her the walkie-talkie, knowing that the silence that came from it made her frantic.
Hesitantly, Indigo lifted the radio to her lips, speaking into the makeshift walkie-talkie, "I swear to god- Bellamy! I told you don't pull this dying shit on me again." Indigo's tone almost broke as she spoke, "Tell me you're okay right now." she demanded.
There was a pause of silence for a moment before a crackling noise fell through the speaker of the radio that Indigo held, "I'm fine." Bellamy's voice finally came from the walkie-talkie.
Octavia let out a loud sigh of relief, and Indigo looked up into the skyโ thanking whatever was out there, "Just a misfire." Bellamy said through the radio.
A hint of amusement and sarcasm then mixed into his tone, "Now stop worrying about me and get back to work, all of you." Bellamy almost scolded, knowing the camp liked to procrastinate, "And tell Raven to hurry her ass up." he added on. Indigo let out a small laughโ trying to convince herself that everything would be okay at the end of the day.
Although Indigo understood why the grounders constantly attacked them, they fell on their land. But war still loomed the corner, and there was nothing but stress to fill the air of the camp.
Indigo and Octavia still stood in front of the dropship, hoping for Jasper and Raven to work faster. The minutes felt like hours as they stared at the ship. Another loud gunshot echoed through the metal ship, and Indigo ran a shaky hand through her hair.
"No." Octavia quickly stood straight again, her tone broken as she worried for her only brother.
Indigo shook her head, hoping that this was all just a horrible nightmare. That Clarke and Finn were aliveโ this all never happened.
Jasper then jogged around the dropship and to the front, giving the two girls a nodโ silently telling them that the door would be open soon.
A small muffled scream was heardโ Raven. Then a row of four gunshots echoed in the dropship, causing Indigo to cover her mouth.
Indigo then quickly lifted the radio to her mouth, "Bellamy what the fuck is happening?" she asked in a frantic tone.
There was no response and Octavia looked at Indigo, unsure what to do. Indigo went to step forward but the door then started to creak openโ slowly lowering itself onto the ground.
"Raven, you genius! You did it!" Indigo exclaimed, relief washing over her tone, as she stuffed the walkie-talkie into her jacket's pocket.
Indigo then looked around for a moment, as the door still lowered. Indigo spotted a gun on a nearby table and rushed over to grab it.
Returning to her spot next to Octavia, Indigo waited for the door to fully lower. Jasper then went into the dropship first, and Indigo followed quickly after.
Jasper's movements were slow at first, as he pushed over the tarpโ but then she quickly ran into the dropship. Concerned, Indigo rushed in after him, positioning the gun on her shoulder.
Indigo's eyes widened as she saw Bellamy with a noose around his neck. Jasper quickly grabbed his legs, lifting him, as he took a large gasp for air.
Indigo then quickly placed the gun down, and rushed to his side, while Octavia quickly ran into the dropshipโ seeing her brother.
"Bell, hold on!" Octavia yelled, rushing to the end of the seatbelts that wrapped around his neck. Indigo tried to undo the large rope made from seatbeltsโ but couldn't.
Octavia kept trying to tug the rope that was tied to the ladder, but it was no use. Indigo then quickly ran her hand over the seatbelts, and found the buckleโ she quickly pressed the button, unbuckling the noose.
The action caused Bellamy to quickly drop fully into Jaspers's arms, and Octavia and Jasper quickly caught him behind her and fully hit the ground. Indigo let out a small sigh of relief, as she knelt, quickly untying the vibrant orange seatbelt from around his neck.
"Bellamy breath," Indigo instructed, her tone full of anxiety, as Octavia lifted his head into her lapโ trying to comfort her brother.
"Can you breathe?" Jasper asked frantically, as he fully pulled the noose from around his neckโ leaving red bruising behind.
"You're okay." Octavia tried to comfort him, lifting his head as he gasped for air. Indigo stared down at himโ thinking how her mother must've felt when she was being strangled too.
"Raven, he's fine!" Jasper lifted his head, shouting out for the girl who was still underneath the dropshipโ but didn't receive any answer.
Bellamy then started to force himself up, and Indigo tried to hold him down, but heโ being stubbornโ pushed away her help.
"Murphy!" Bellamy yelled, anger vibrating through his voice, and pushed away from the three who were helping him. Bellamy then quickly stood up, and stumbled over to the ladderโ his hair sticking up, all messed up.
"Murphy! It's over!" he yelled up the ladder, as the trio rose to their feet watching Bellamy. Bellamy then began to pull himself up the ladder, and Indigoโ worriedlyโ stepped closer.
"Bellamy-" Indigo went to reason with him, to stay put and they would take care of itโ but she was quickly cut off by Bellamy climbing to the top of the ladder, trying to open the latch door, although Murphy used something to hold it down.
"Murphy!" Bellamy barked through the latch, pounding his hand onto the small door, "There's only one way out of this for you now!"
A loud booming noise erupted through the top of the ship, causing Indigo to wrap her arm around Octavia quicklyโ in a protective manner.
Indigo covered her ears, as the two girls crouched on the ground of the dropshipโ the loud noise shaking the tin can they were in, while they all squeezed their eyes shut.
All of their ears rang, and Indigo finally opened her eyes, seeing nothing but smoke. Indigo slowly stood, and looked over, to see Bellamy now standing at the bottom of the ladder, looking around.
Coughing, Indigo caught his eye. Bellamy gave her a sincere look, before climbing up the ladder againโ letting his built-up rage towards Murphy explode.
Bellamy pushed the latch to the dropship door again, and whatever locked the door broke. Indigo looked down at her best friend, then over to Jasper, who was swatting his hand in front of his faceโ trying to clear the smoke in front of him.
"Murphy!" Bellamy yelled, his tone echoing through the ship, as he stood on the second floor. Bellamy didn't speak again, but there was shuffling heard from above.
Indigo then climbed up the ladder, while Octavia began to rise from her place on the floor. Jasper quickly followed behind, and Indigo coughed, as she planted her feet on the second floor.
A beam of light shone into the ship, and a figure was seen. Jasper hopped onto the level after Indigo, and followed her, as she walked over to Bellamy.
There was a large hole in the side of the ship, and the three peered out of it. It looked like a large bullet hole, while smoke flowed out of it.
