OCTAVIA QUICKLY LIMPED over with two metal canisters in her hands. Clarke then took one from her hand and opened oneโ€” sniffing the liquid inside and grimacing.

"Ugh." Clarke grimaced, "Monty's moonshine?" Clarke asked Octavia and she nodded, as she placed the other container on the table.

"Pretty sure no germ could survive it," Octavia said with a smirk, but the dropship shook again, and Octavia looked around.

"The storm's getting worse." Indigo croaked outโ€” her tone only raspy, and Octavia smiled at her, trying to reassure the hurt older girl.

"Monroe, close the doors." Clarke nodded at Indigo, then glanced at Monroe who gave her a confused look, and glanced at the open door of the dropship.

"But we still have people out there," Monroe informed Clarke, and Octavia quickly nodded, as she helped sterilize the tools Clarke was going to use.

"Monty and Jasper still aren't back yet." Octavia said, "Neither is Bellamy." her tone was worried, as she glanced at the open door.

"It's alright. They'll find somewhere to ride it out." Clarke tried to reassure Octavia. Raven then quickly rushed over to Clarkeโ€” something in hand.

"Look. One suture needle." Raven held the needle out to Clarke, who quickly turned to her and took itโ€” pinching it between her fingers.

"Right. I still need something to close the wound." Clarke told Ravenโ€” but Octavia quickly answered instead.

"There's some wire on the second level." Octavia began, "I use it for the tents." she said, still cleaning the many things that Clarke would need for Finn's 'surgery'.

"Let's see it." Clarke turned to Octavia, and Octavia nodded and quickly began to rush off towards the ladder to the other levels.

"Stay away from the blue wires that run through the ceiling." Raven began to inform Octavia, "I rigged it to the solar cells in the roof." Octavia didn't respond as she limped away, "That means they're hot. You got that?" Raven asked, and Octavia then gave her an annoyed look.

"Yeah, I got that." Octavia said with attitude, and Indigo shook her head 'no' at Octaviaโ€” to which the younger rolled her eyes, before patting Indigo's shoe, and leaving.

Raven began to speak, but Indigo couldn't hear, as buzzing zoomed through her head, and she then winced when a girl yelled, 'Hey! They're back!'โ€” which caused Indigo to weakly lift her head. She saw Bellamy walk in with two others, who were hauling another person in.

"Bellamy!" Octavia exclaimedโ€” who was worried for her brother, as she was halfway up that ladder to the second level.

They tossed the man onto the floor, and Indigo slowly propped herself straighter, trying to get a good look at
himโ€” even though her eyes kept threatening to close.

"What the hell are you doing?" Indigo asked, her tone grumblyโ€” unable to stay awake, as she saw the grounder man that sliced her stomach.

"It's time to get some answers," Bellamy said, glancing at Indigo, staring at her state for a moment. Bellamy then ripped his gaze from the girl and to his sister.

"Oh, you mean revenge?" Octavia asked, her tone already becoming snappy at her brother. Indigo then slowly bobbed her head, before leaning against the wall that was behind her makeshift cot.

"I mean intel." Bellamy snapped back, his hair dripping on his face from the storm that was around them. Bellamy then glanced over to Miller, who was helping carry the grounder, "Get him upstairs."

Clarke then slowly stepped forward, "Bellamy, she's right." but before she could make a point, the radio went off, causing Bellamy's eyes to quickly dart to it.

"Clarke, honey, we're ready." Abby's staticky voice came from the speaker next to Finn, "Can you hear me?" the blonde's mother asked, and Clarke looked at the ground for a moment, before looking up at Bellamy.

"Look, this is not who we are." Clarke tried to reason with Bellamy, who just stared blankly at the radioโ€” Clarke staring at Bellamy for an answer.

"Clarke?" Abby called out again, her broken-up voice calling for her daughter, as Bellamy stared at the speaker, an uneasiness bubbling in how stomach.

"It is now," Bellamy said sternlyโ€” Indigo barely even processing what was happening, or what the entire conversation was about, but she knew the grounder was here.

Bellamy then walked over to Indigo, who tried to catch her breathโ€” as it only got harder for her to breathe. Bellamy almost frowned at her state, but held it back.

"How's it going, Indie?" he tried to lighten the girl's
moodโ€” as she couldn't even really lift her head to look up at him.

"Bellamy?" Indigo asked, her face glistening in sweat, "What's going on?" she asked, trying to lift her weak hands, her hair falling in her face.

Indigo's usual hostile demeanor towards Bellamy was
absentโ€” the way she was feeling changed the way she was thinking, and her head was fuzzy.

Bellamy's expression slightly faltered at her tone and question, "A lot." was all he saidโ€” unsure of what else to say at the moment.

Bellamy then slowly lifted his hand to her face and brushed the hair out of her eyesโ€” as she slowly closed them, his cool hand brushed against her warm face.

Indigo then fluttered her eyes openโ€” thinking of her father's face. She had seen so much death that it almost physically made her want to barf everywhere.

"Why's the grounder here?" Indigo asked, "Intel? What for." she asked, as she slightly leaned her face into his hand that was about to pull away from her face.

"Get some rest, Indie." Bellamy sighed, his tone suddenly falling sternโ€” quickly pulling his hand from Indigo's face as if it was going to injure him.

Indigo slightly nodded, "Okay, Bell." she slowly leaned back onto the wall behind herโ€” the nickname rolling off her tongue, as she slowly fluttered her eyelids shut.

Bellamy stared at her for a moment, before letting out a sigh, and leaving the girlโ€” going up to the third level to do the unspeakable.

Clarke's voice suddenly woke Indigo up from her nightmare, "The blade is at a sharp upward angle, between the sixth and seventh ribs." she spoke to the speaker who sat on the table with Finn.

"Okay, how deep?" Abby's crackily voice spoke through the speaker, as many people chattered through the first level of the dropship.

Indigo then looked down and saw the large scar on her stomach that had crimson slashed through itโ€” the waistband of her pants folded down so Clarke could clean the wound.

"I can't tell how deep it goes," Clarke said, her tone frustrated and stressed, as she sighed then escaped her lips.

"That's all right." Abby began after a moment of silence, "Just don't remove it yet." she said, as Clarke began to pour moonshine into her hands.

"Hey, here." Clarke stopped Raven from pacingโ€” stressed about the boy she loved, "Sterilize your hands." the blonde held out the can to the brunette.

Raven then quickly took the canister, and set it on the table, before taking off her gloves. Raven then took a large gulp of the alcohol and coughed slightlyโ€” a grimace on her face, as she began to pour it onto her hands.

"Clarke, can you see any fluid?" Abby asked, her tone cracking through the small speaker. Clarke opened her mouth to speak but someone yelled.

"Hey, watch it!" a boy yelled through the first level of the dropship, causing Indigo's eyes to quickly peel open
againโ€” as two boys began to fight.

"Damn it!" Clarke cursed, turning to the two who were fighting behind her, then turned towards Raven, "Clear the room." she said with a frustrated sigh.

Raven then strutted to the middle of the first level, "Everyone!" she began, "Upstairs! Now! Let's go!" Raven orders the small sea of delinquents.

Clarke then leaned over and put the back of her hand on Finn's forehead, "He feels a little warm." Clarke told her mom, as Raven walked back over, giving Indigo a small
smileโ€” but it quickly shifted back into worry once Clarke spoke.

"Okay. That's all right." Abby said airily, "Fever sometimes accompanies trauma." she told her daughter, which made Indigo feel relieved that it wasn't a totally bad sign she was so bad off, "Clarke, I need you to tell me if there is any fluid leaking from the wound."

Clarke then quickly looked down at the knife that stuck out of Finn's chest, "Uh..." she leaned down a bit, "no." Clarke informed her mom.

Abby let out a sigh of relief, and Indigo looked down at her cut once againโ€” seeing no fluid, making sure that she was okay too.

"Pleural membrane's intact." Abby spoke to someone on the Ark, "That's good. Actually, really good." Abby corrected herself, "He got lucky."

Raven then sighed and leaned down to her boyfriend, "Hear that?" she said with a smile, "You're lucky." she let out a small laughโ€” trying to convince herself that he was fine.

Clarke then stared at Raven for a moment, before darting her eyes awayโ€” as if she was scolding herself for being jealous.

"Okay, Clarke, firm grip on the knife." Abby advised her daughter, "You're gonna need to angle it upward and to the left very slightly to the left as it exits the rib cage." Abby said very carefullyโ€” making sure her daughter understood every one of her words.

"How very slightly?" Clarke asked, as her hands hovered over Finn's bodyโ€” the backs of them facing Finn's body. There was a small pause for a moment, and there was an indistinct conversation.

"Three mil-" Abby's voice cut off as the storm began to rage worse on themโ€” Earth was angry at the fact that Indigo was wounded, "Clarke?"

"Wait, what was that?" Clarke asked, "You dropped out." the blonde said almost desperate to know the answer at that moment.

"Clarke, three millimeters." Abby informed her, "Got it?"ย  she asked her daughterโ€” her tone enunciating every word that she spoke.

"Yeah. Okay, I got it." Clarke said, and Indigo weakly sat up to watch Clarke pull the knife from Finn's chest, "Here goes."

"Steady hand, Clarke." Abby began, "You've assisted me on trickier procedures than this." she tried to soothe her daughter's anxiety, "And once that knife is out, the hard part is over."

Clarke nodded, knowing her mother couldn't see. The dropship began to loudly rumble and shake, and Indigo held the sides of her odd cot as the ground shook rapidly. The shaking stopped and Indigo let out a breath she didn't even know she was holding, and slowly let her grip go.

Clarke then turned her attention back to Finn, "Alright. Extracting now." she informed her mother, and leaned down, putting one hand on the dagger, and the other on his chest for support.

"He walking up!" Raven exclaimed, her tone worried, as he groaned in painโ€” the shock wearing off the numbing, and Clarke slowly pulled the dagger out of his chest.

"Hold him still." Clarke ordered Raven, and she quickly obliged, "Finn, I'm gonna get that knife out of you, okay?" Clarke asked, her hand wrapped around the dagger handle.

"Good plan," Finn spoke, his voice strained. Clarke then began to get ready to pull the knife from his skin and lifted her head to look at his face once more.

"Finn, you can't move. You got it?" Clarke asked and he just groaned in pain, "Okay." Clarke sighed, her hand slowly tugging at the knife, "Here it goes." and she began to pull the knife out, "Finn, do not move. Almost got it. Hold still."

Clarke then began to slowly pull the dagger from his chest, but there was a loud bang, and the whole dropship
shookโ€” one large movement. Clarke then fell backward, knife in hand. Finn fell off the table he was on, and Raven fell backward.

Indigo then was thrown onto the floor by the large shake. Screaming was heard from the other levels, but Indigo groaned in pain and tried to pull herself up.

"Clarke!" Abby's voice yelled through the speaker, "Clarke. Clarke?" she kept calling for her daughter, "What's happening?" her mother's tone was worried.

Clarke was standing, staring down at Finn, the knife in her hand, and out of Finn's chest. Indigo then slowly tried to pull herself up, grabbing onto the cot she was on for help.

"Clarke, can you hear us?" Abby's voice asked frantically, as her words kept falling amongst the static, "Clarke?" Abby called out again.

Raven then held herself up with her arms, whilst she was lying on the ground, "It's out!" she announced to the speaker, "She did it." Raven said in an amazed tone.

Indigo didn't know how long she had been asleep for, but Finn was already all sewn up, and Raven was by his sideโ€” waiting for him to wake up.

The moment Indigo felt funnyโ€” her eyes quickly opened, widening as something twisted in her, and her body felt deactivated, as she began to shake uncontrollably.

Raven then quickly stood up once she saw Indigo's state, rushing to her side, "Clarke! Indigo's seizing!" she yelled to the ceiling, in hopes that the blonde would hear her yelling.

Clarke quickly rushed down the ladder, running towards Indigo, who couldn't even hear what they were
sayingโ€” she couldn't control her body.

"She was fine and then-" Raven said franticallyโ€” then Finn began to shake, and Clarke looked at the two, stressed out of her mind.

"Get my mother on the radio now!" Clarke yelled at Raven, as she then grabbed onto Indigoโ€” since she seized first, "Raven, now!" Clarke shouted, but Raven gave her a worried look.

"The radio's dead!" Raven cried out, "Interference from the storm." she informed Clarke, who then rushed over to Finn's side, then back to Indigo'sโ€” unsure what to do.

Raven then sobbed, and walked over to Finn, "Please don't let him die." she begged Clarke, who was currently at Indigo's side.

Indigo then stopped moving, her mouth beginning to foam, and Clarke quickly turned the girl on her side and then glanced at Finn who stopped a few moments after Indigo.

"Okay. It stopped." Clarke told Raven, "Quick, help me get him on his side." she looked up at Raven who was in a trance staring at Finn, "Raven, there is fluid in his lungs." Clarke shouted at the older girl, pulling her from her trance, "He could choke. Quick."

The two girls began to flip him on his side, and Indigo just blinked back into reality, laying almost lifelessly on her
sideโ€” thinking of the porthole window that used to hang above her.

Clarke rushed over to Indigo who just lay on her side, and
felt the girl's temperatureโ€” as her skin almost burned her hand.

Indigo was supposed to be dead. She used to wish for Earth. She was here nowโ€” and would probably rather be in her cell all over than here. Almost dead.

"Fluid in their lungs. Does that mean the knife hit something? Indigo was only cut." Raven tried to figure out the problem her tone only filling with worry by the second.

"No, this isn't blood." Clarke looked at Indigo's mouth, cleaning it, then rushed over to Finn, "It's something else." she said frantically cleaning his mouth, "I did- I did everything she told me."

Indigo stared at the gray dropship wall that was in front of her eyes. She dazed at itโ€” imagining her window, on the gray Ark wall. The large one, that overlooked the moon and stars
andโ€” Earth.

"I've seen this before." Clarke said in realization, "Shortness of breath. Fever. Seizing. It's poison." Clarke informed Raven, a realization falling into her tone.

"Clarke, you sterilized everything." Raven shook her head denying the girl's words, "I watched you do it." Raven said as Clarke's eyes landed on something else.

"Not everything." Clarke walked over to the dagger, "Stay here." she said, as she began to climb up the ladder, her movements quick.

The moment she went to climb up the second ladder, the door opened, revealing Bellamy, who was already on his way down.

"What are you doing here?" Bellamy gave her a weird look, "How's Indigo?" he asked quicklyโ€” on his way down to check on the girl after hearing Raven screaming about her seizure.

"She's fine for now." Clarke said, beginning to climb into the third level, "He poisoned the blade." she said frantically, as Octavia quickly climbed into the level before they could lock her out.

Indigo had passed outโ€” the seizure wearing her body out. She had been given medicine of some sort but didn't remember it. She only felt the dark liquid coat the back over throat. The thick substance barely even waking her up fully.

A blanket was laid atop her, slowly causing her to stir from the sleep. Indigo felt warmth next to her, and looked down, blinking a few times to unblur her eyes.

Indigo looked down and saw Octavia with her arm all wrapped up in a white cloth, blotched with crimsonโ€” curled up next to Indigo, asleep.

Feeling oddly comfortable with the girl, she smiled and looked up to see Bellamyโ€” who had tossed the blanket over them. Indigo let a sigh escape her lips, as she glanced between Octavia and Bellamy.

"Thanks." Indigo muttered, glancing to her left to see Raven asleep next to Finn who was still unconscious, "What happened?"

Bellamy then sat down next to the makeshift cot, glancing at Octavia and then Indigo, "The-" he almost couldn't say it, "We tortured the grounder." her pushed the words out of his throat quicklyโ€” not wanting to lie to Indigo now, and then she found out, lashing out at him.

Indigo's mouth slightly opened in shock, "What?!" she whisper-yelled, "You-" Indigo sat up, but Bellamy then shook his head at her and pushed her shoulders back down.

"Yeah." he murmured, standing up, and taking his hand off Indigo's shoulders, "He poisoned you." he tried to justify, "He was willing to let you die."

"That's doesn't matter." Indigo sat up again, hissing at the pain that stung her abdomen, "Let me die-" Indigo began, but was quickly cut off.

"Don't say that." Bellamy furrowed his eyebrows at her, giving her a stern look, "Finn needed it too." he sighed, pulling the blanket over Octavia's shoulders.

"What happened to her hand?" Indigo skipped over his words and looked down at Octavia who was beside her, giving her a frown.

"She cut it with the poison blade to save you and Finn." Bellamy sighed, staring down at his sisterโ€” who constantly worried him.

Indigo sighed sadly, and ran her hand over Octavia's hair, tilting her head at the sleeping girlโ€” who chose to be with Indigo instead of her brother.

"Get some rest," Bellamy said flatly, leaving the dropship, and Indigo looked over her shoulder at him leaving her and Octavia.
