THE FIVE RAN through the thick green woods for what felt like forever. Indigo could barely even stand up straight, constantly having to hold onto Jasperโ who always gained a glare from Bellamy.
Slowing down their paceโ unable to find the girl. They all began to try and search for her. Indigo could barely even breatheโ two deaths in one day.
Earth really did hate herโ her window on the Ark probably frowning at the girl who's been on the horrid planet.
Finn quickly stopped, Monroe next to him. They both stared at something for a moment, before Monroe spoke up.
"There she is." Monroe began, "Roma!" she whisper-yelled, scared to even temp a grounder to come and find them.
Indigo almost collapsed at her heart rateโ finally catching her breath. Indigo quickly walked up to the two and saw Roma hiding behind a tree.
Bellamy then quickly rushed over to the treeโ causing the rest of the group the follow, cautiously approaching the tree. Bellamy then went ahead of the group, and went up to Romaโ his eyes quickly widening at the sight.
Indigo furrowed her eyebrows and stepped closer, and saw Romaโ impaled with a spear, her head limp to the side, and red liquid spilling from her mouth. Indigo shook her head and stepped backโ ripping her gaze from the poor girl.
"They're playing with us," Finn murmured, looking around the forest. Indigo glanced up at Bellamy who stared at Roma, before slowly stepping forward, and closing the girl's eyes.
"She only came because of me," Bellamy said in merely a whisper, cussing Indigo to sigh in guilt at his tone. Indigo then stared down at the ground as she walked towards Bellamyโ trying to not look at Roma's corpse.
Indigo felt as if she couldn't speak againโ every face of every corpse flowing through her mind. Indigo then chewed on her cheekโ taking a deep breath before speaking.
"It's not your fault." Indigo said softly, her gaze rising to look at Bellamy, "She didn't have to come." Indigo turned her back to Romaโ Bellamy still staring at Roma.
"They can kill us whenever they want," Finn whispered to Bellamy. Bellamy didn't respond, a short silence falling upon them.
"Then they should..." Jasper began quietly, "Get it over with!" his voice raised into a loud yell, "Come on!" he shouted to the forest.
Indigo then furrowed her eyebrows at his sudden outburst, before Finn quickly grabbed onto Jasperโ trying to shut the boy up.
"We know you're out there!" Jasper screamed, "You want to kill us-" Jasper continued to scream, cussing Bellamy and Finn to try and shut the boy's mouth.
"They're coming!" Monroe yelled, causing Indigo to quickly rush over to the girlโ seeing grounders running towards them.
Jasper quickly shut his mouth, and everyone turned to look in Indigo and Monroe's direction, as grounders began to surround the group of fiveโ cornering them.
Indigo's breath was nonexistent as she stopped her
airwayโ thinking these were her last moments. But a horn went off, sending the grounders away, causing Indigo to furrow her eyebrows and breathe.
The five of them quickly looked around, and Indigo then ran a hand through her hairโ unsure whether to be happy or terrified of what the horn meant.
"They're leaving." Indigo pointed out the obvious, but everyone looked around franticallyโ mainly Jasper. Indigo then put her hands on her knees, catching her breath, since her heart rate was so fast.
"That horn." Jasper began, "What does it mean?" he asked, looking around at the other four in the
groupโ hoping for some answers.
"Acid fog," Finn replied, looking out into the forest, and pulled out a tarp of some sort from his bag, causing everyone to look at what he was doing.
Indigo then looked around for a caveโ or even the cave she, Bellamy, and Charlotte were in. Indigo's heart ached at the thought of the young girl who was merely a teen.
"We have to run," Monroe said and Finn averted his gaze to the girl with braids and shook his head at her, causing Indigo to let out a shaky breathโ not wanting to end up like Atom.
"There's no time," Finn said, as he lifted the tarp that was in his hands, and everyone ducked under
itโ hoping it would save them from the fog.
Indigo was between Finn and Monroeโ as all their breathing was quick, and the tarp over them began to get stuffy quickly.
"How long are we supposed to wait?" Indigo whispered out her question, and no one answered herโ but Monroe quickly budded in.
"Will this even work?" she asked, shaking her headโ her tone doubting that the tarp would save them.
"We'll find out." Finn retorted, and Bellamy shook his head and glanced down at the other fourโ who were under the stuffy tarp.
"No, we won't." Bellamy said dryly, quickly pulling the tarp down slightly lifting his head out, and slowly moving forward, "There's no fog." Bellamy said, beginning to stand up.
"What?" Indigo asked, slowly beginning to pull the tarp off herโ now, messy hair, sat up, and Indigo then began to stand.
Jasper and Monroe quickly pulled the tarp pulled the tarp off. They began to get up and look around the forest that was fogged up.
"Maybe it was a false alarm?" Finn said more as a question, as he pulled himself up from the Earth's crust. Grounders then began to run through the forest once again, causing Indigo to look around in a panicked way.
"They're coming back." Indigo pointed out, and everyone looked where Indigo's attention was, and they all stared as if there was only one grounder.
"I think he's alone," Jasper whispered as they all crouched behind a fallen logโ trying to get a good look a the person.
"How can we run?" Monroe askedโ her tone also a whisper, but no one answered, and they all stayed quiet for a moment.
"He doesn't see us." Bellamy informed, "I'm going after him." he said, his tone growing a bit louder, but Finn quickly stopped him.
"And what?" Finn asked Bellamy, causing the other three and the group to look over at them, "Kill him?" Finn asked his tone still a whisper.
"No." Bellamy said, his eyes glued to the grounder, "Catch him." he paused for a moment, "Make him tell me where Octavia is, then kill him." he corrected Finn, and stood up, and slowly began to go after the grounder.
Indigo then sat up straightโ watching him leave. She couldn't let him kill a person who had been there before them. The other three of the group then sat up straight staring at Bellamy for a moment.
"How do we know he's not leading us into another trap?" Jasper whispered to Finn, not wanting to get killed by a grounder.
"We don't," Finn replied, before quickly getting upโ and catching up to Bellamy. Indigo chewed on her bottom lip, looking at Monroe and Jasperโ weighing her options.
She couldn't leave Octavia. Indigoโ well, she didn't know what love was, but she thought she loved Octavia. She just knew she cared for the girl deeply. But she couldn't let Bellamy kill a grounder.
Indigo then quickly got up, leaving Monroe and Jasper behind the log, and catching up to Bellamy and Finn. She was going to get Octavia, but not let Bellamy kill the grounderโ no matter what.
Jasper and Monroe then quickly caught up to the trio, who was following the grounder through the foggy woods.

Five kids from space, slowly crept into a cave that the grounder had gone intoโ keeping a safe distance. A loud banging noise was heardโ causing Bellamy to rush faster into the cave.
The five quickly followed behind, and slowly stepped into the cave. Bellamy then turned to something in the cave, as Indigo tried to see what he was looking at.
"Bellamy?" Octavia's voice echoed through the
caveโ hope rising in Indigo, as Bellamy rushed forward, causing Indigo to quickly follow behind.
"Octavia," Bellamy said, quickly rushing to his sister's side, trying to get her out of the chains she was inโ her wrists in handcuffs.
The grounder was already unconscious on the ground, in front of the girl who was chained to the wall. Indigo then quickly rushed to the girl, kneeling bedside where Bellamy was, and Octavia smiled widely at the girl's presence.
"Get the key," she said hoarsely, giving her brother the key that she stole from the grounder. Bellamy took the key from her hand, quickly trying to unlock the girl's chains.
Indigo then slowly got up and turned to look at the man who was unconscious on the floor, his head covered in crimsonโ from a rock that was on the ground.
"Monroe, watch the entrance." Bellamy ordered the girl, as he still tried to work at the chains, quickly unlocking them, and Octavia jumped into his arms, "It's okay." he said with relief, "You're okay." he whispered to his sister.
Indigo then slowly leaned down to look at the grounder's woundโ the crimson seeping from the small gash on his head.
"How did you find me?" Octavia exclaimed, turning to see Jasper, and quickly limping over to the boy, engulfing him into a hug.
"Followed him." Jasper quipped, tilting his head to the unconscious man on the groundโ accepting Octavia's hug.
"We should go. Now. Before he wakes up." Octavia said, glancing at Indigo who was kneeling next to the unconscious grounder man.
"He's not gonna wake up," Bellamy said sternly, grabbing a spear from the side of the caveโ that full of weapons, and things.
"Bellamy, stop." Octavia rushed over to her brother, her tone almost begging him, "He didn't hurt me. Let's just go." she put a hand in front of him.
Bellamy pushed past his sister's hand, Indigo still knelt at the grounder's side. Finn then knelt beside Indigo and looked at the horn the man had on his belt.
"They started this. Indigo. Finn. Move." Bellamy snapped at the two who were examining the manโ since they had never seen a grounder up close before.
"Foghorn," Indigo said, while Finn kept the horn in his hands. The man then quickly moved, grabbing a knife from his belt.
The grounder man quickly slashed the knife out, slicing Indigo's stomach on the way to Finnโ leaving a long trail of crimson from her belly button to her hipbone, where Indigo's tank top was slightly lifted.
He then quickly stabbed Finn in the chest with the same knife, as the two fell backโ not processing the pain yet. The man then quickly kicked Bellamy's legs, causing him to fall.
Bellamy then quickly got back upโ grabbing the spear that had fallen from his hand, and tried to strike at the man, but he quickly held onto the spear.
Indigo then tried to sit upโ the shock slowly wearing off, as she glanced at Finn with wide eyes seeing the knife's handle sticking from his chest, she struggled to breathe, and Octavia tried to comfort the boy.
Bellamy was quickly overpowered, and was pushed to the groundโ the grounder pressing the spear to his throat.
"Stop!" Octavia yelled out at the grounder, "That's my brother." she cried out, as the man began to push the spear harder into his throat, but then was hit over the head by another stick of some sortโ Jasper holding it as the man fell to the side.
Indigo let out a shaky breath, as she looked down at her stomach the seeped in crimson, her hand on the large cutโ which was also coated in the sticky liquid.
Jasper then quickly rushed over to Indigo and Finn's side, as he helped lift the boy, Octavia also helping him upโ the dagger sticking out of the boy's chest.
"Fuck." Bellamy muttered once he stood upโ seeing the two who were covered in blood. He then quickly helped Indigo up, and she let out a hiss in painโ the shock numbing her pain simmering down.
Jasper then went to pull the dagger from Finn's chest, but Bellamy quickly stopped him, as his arm was wrapped around Indigo, who could barely stand from the pain that stung her abdomen.
"Don't." Bellamy said sternly, as Finn groaned in pain, "He'll bleed out." he informed the boy, "Here, take Indigo, I'll carry Finn."

"Clarke!" Jasper screamed, as they entered the gates of the camp, "Where's Clarke?!" he said, making Indigo wince from the loud noise, as Jasper's arm was under her shoulders.
Octavia was on Jasper's other sideโ limping from the pain in her leg. Indigo then felt warmโ beads of sweat dotting her head, as her stomach soaked in crimson.
"Get Clarke now," Jasper ordered a camp member, but Clarke quickly rushed towards them, not seeing the state the two girls were in yet.
"Hey. I'm here. What's up?" Clarke said, jogging towards them, her eyes widening at the sight of Octavia and Indigo.
Bellamy then walked through the gatesโ carrying Finn, the dagger taunting Indigo, reminding her of the scissors that had stuck from her father's stomach.
"Finn." Clarke gasped at the sight, "Finn?" she said worried, as she rushed towards Finn, checking his pulse, "Oh, my god. Oh, oh, my god." she said frantically, and Indigo began to collapse into Jasper, "He's alive."
Jasper then quickly held onto the bleeding girl, and glanced down at her state, before looking at Clarke with a frantic look, "Bellamy wouldn't let me take the knife out."
"No," Clarke began, "that was a good call." she sniffled, tears threatening to spill from her eyes, "Get them both in the dropship now. Go!" Clarke instructed as delinquents took Finn from Bellamy's arms, taking him away.
Bellamy then stared at them for a moment, before his eyes darted over to Indigo, whose eyes began to flutter open and close.
"Get her to the dropship." Bellamy told Jasper sternly, "What the hell are you doing?" he slightly raised his voice at the boy, but he quickly helped Indigo.

Indigo felt foggy, as she was in a makeshift cot, her stomach was all cleaned from the crimson that had been rubbed all over it before. A large cut was still on her stomach, and she winced every time she moved.
A storm began to brew upon themโ only growing worse by the minute, which caused everyone in camp to go into the dropship, making it even more stressful for Indigo who was wounded.
Raven was trying to fix the radio, constantly repeating the same phrase over and over; 'This is Raven Reyes calling Ark Station. Come in, Ark Station. Please come in.' the words constantly being repeated. And when there wasn't a response for a few minutes, she'd move and fix somethingโ then would repeat the phrase again.
Bellamy and some others left earlierโ but Indigo was constantly in and out of sleep, since she had been losing so much blood, and her entire body felt weakโ so, she didn't see him leave.
Clarke would come and check up on her, cleaning the cut, then would change the rag that was wrapped around the dagger that was in Finn's chest.
Indigo hated that she was laid right next to himโ she didn't want to see him. She saw her father lying right next to her every time she glanced at himโ the scissors that stuck out from his stomach.
The scene made Indigo sick to her stomach.
You know how Indigo said earlierโ or well, thought that a stab in the stomach didn't hurt as much as words. Well, she was wrong. She hadn't even been fully stabbed, and she felt like hellโ but words still affected her just as much.
She hated the feeling of the full dropshipโ the way she could feel everyone's breath down her neck. The stinging that lingered in a line on her stomach only caused her ears to ring.
The fact that she could feel the pressure everyone was under made her feel helpless. She could barely move with the stinging that traced its way down her torso in crimson.
"This is a restricted channel." a staticky voice ripping Indigo from her thoughts, "Who is this? Please identify yourself." the voice said sternly, causing many campers to rush over and murmur at the fact that they now had contact with the Ark.
"This is Raven Reyes." Raven stammered in surprise, "I'm from Mecha Station." she informed the man, "I'm- I'm transmitting from the ground. The hundred are alive. Please, you need to get Dr. Abby Griffin. Dr. Abby Griffin. Now." she begged into her makeshift headset.
Indigo could barely hear the radio from the commotion of all the teensโ and the fact her ears were ringing, and she could barely even keep herself sitting up.
"Raven. Are you there?" a woman's voice said through static, and Clarke quickly went onto the radio, Raven taking the headset off and setting it on the table.
"Mom?" Clarke swallowed thickly, "Mom, it's me." Clarke said as clearly as she could, trying to make sure her mother could hear her.
"Clarke?" the woman's tone grew hopeful and broke from happiness. Indigo longed for a loving parent, guilt once again swarming in her stomach.
"Mom, I need your help." Clarke paused for a moment, "One of our people was stabbed by a grounder. Another was just cut." she informed her mother.
"Clarke," a familiar man's voice called from the speaker, "this is the Chancellor. Are you saying there are survivors on the ground?" he asked, not excited understanding what she meant.
"Yes. The Earth is survivable." Clarke sighed, "We're not alone." there was a pause for a moment before Clarke spoke up once again, "Mom, he's dying. The knife's still in his chest."
Abbyโ Indigo assumedโ ordered someone from the Ark to patch her into the medical channel. Indigo's vision became foggy once again, as she rubbed her eyes.
"Clarke," Jaha began, Indigo blinking, trying to focus her vision, "is my son with you?" he asked, and Indigo's eyes finally cleared, but she then drowned at the question.
Indigo wanted to sob, but could barely move without wanting to scream in painโ her cut still stinging. Clarke then paused, and Raven looked over at the blonde.
"I'm so sorry." Clarke's voice broke, "Wells is-" she could barely even say it, "Wells is dead." she stammered, and Indigo tried to weakly brush her hair from her face but felt too weak to even raise her armโ her eyes welling with tears.
The radio was silent, as Clarke then walked over to Finn, blood covering her shirtโ as she stared down at his body on the table.
"I'm gonna talk you through it step by step," Abby said, her voice constantly cutting out, as the radio overflowed with static.
The dropship made some loud noises from the loud storm outsideโ Indigo wincing at the sudden shake, but tried to calm her weak breathing.
"Clarke, give-" the radio went out for a moment, "to medical. Medic-" Abby's voice kept being overpowered by the static.
"What?" Clarke asked her mother's broken-up voice, "Raven, what's wrong?" Clarke rushed over to Raven, as static flowed through the system.
"It's not the radio." Raven said, her tone full of frustration, "It's the storm." she looked over her shoulder at Clarke.
