MONTY, OCTAVIA, INDIGO, and a set of wires were all in a somewhat circle. They mindlessly spoke while Monty messed with the wiresโ€” as they sat in the middle of the trio.

"Okay, I need someone's wristband," Monty informed, causing Octavia and glance at one anotherโ€” then back to Monty, who had already tested his own wristband, and failed.

"I promised Wells I'd keep mine on," Indigo spoke up, making Octavia grimace at the boy's name. Monty nodded at her words and shifted his gaze back to Octavia.

"Since when are you friends with the Chancellor?" Octavia inquired in a nasty toneโ€” not particularly happy that Indigo was friends with Wells.

Indigo then shot Octavia a scolding lookโ€” she was reminding Indigo of her brother and wasn't exactly okay with her turning into her brother.

"Since this morning," Indigo said in an almost irritated toneโ€” trying not to snap at her friend. Indigo then glanced at Monty before looking back at Octavia.

Octavia saw the hint of irritation in her look and heard it in her toneโ€” backing off from the topic, "Alright. I'll do it." Octavia noddedโ€” Indigo giving her an approving glance.

Indigo felt protective over the younger girlโ€” but not to the crazy point Bellamy was at. Bellamy was way to protective, and Indigo was protectiveโ€” but not making sure she watched her every move.

Monty nodded, then sat forwardโ€” taking her wrist into his hands, slowly trying to pry at the metal to remove itself from her skin with a small screwdriver.

"You know, Jasper and I have been friends forever." Monty beganโ€” whilst Indigo rubbed her thumb on her Earth necklace, listening intently, "We even got arrested together." Monty said with a soft quiet laugh at the thought.

"Yeah, you both told me." Octavia reminded Monty, "For smoking? Right?" she tried to confirmโ€” to which she received a nod from Monty. Indigo let out a small laugh at Octavia's wordsโ€” smoking on the Ark? How would that even work?

"Smoking?" Indigo saidโ€” her tone still amused at the fact they even could do that, but Indigo was so sheltered that she only ever saw smoking in old moviesโ€” and TV shows.

"Yeah." Monty laughed at his own words, "Jasper may not be my real brother," Monty grunted, trying to pry at the wristband, "But he's always been there. Every memory I have, there's Jasper." Monty then sighed sadly, before looking up at the two girls, "I should be out there."

Indigo opened her mouth to say somethingโ€” but Octavia beat her to it, her expression mixed into a fake sympathetic one.

"You're not going to cry are you?" Octavia askedโ€” making Indigo lightly kicked her foot, as Monty just stared blankly at her before his lips shifted into a soft smile.

"Shut up." He muttered with a smileโ€” making Octavia and Indigo laugh softly at his words, whilst he moved his vision back to Octavia's wristband.

Indigo saw the way he sighedโ€” almost afraid to take off Octavia's wristband. He stared at the metal that was wrapped around her wrist then looked back up at Octavia.

"You sure about this? Your brother won't approve of you helping us contact the Ark," Monty said, only holding Octavia's wrist in his hand.

"He's not my keeper." Octavia said annoyed giving Monty a nod, before glancing at Indigo who nodded at her words, "Let's just do this. Let's do it." Octavia sat up straighterโ€” causing Monty to toss his screwdriver down, and grab a metal stick of some sort.

Monty then glanced at Indigoโ€” as if he was asking for her permission, which he didn't need to do, Indigo nodded at Montyโ€” causing him to shift his attention back to Octavia's wrist.

Monty flipped Octavia's wristโ€” sticking the metal stick under the wristband, making Octavia wince in pain. Indigo shifted closer to the girl, examining her wrist, whilst he finally pulled the wristband offโ€” the metal flinging to the ground. Octavia yelped in painโ€” rubbing her wrist.

The needles that stuck into her bare skin were goneโ€” leaving small pricked-at wounds, "Son of a-" Octavia began before getting cut off by Monty.

"Sorry." He apologized quickly grabbing onto the wristband and lifting it to the lightโ€” which made Indigo and Octavia lean forward to see the power slowly fade from the needles.

"Dead." Monty deadpannedโ€” looking at the metal with lost hope, "Damn it." Monty cursed himself staring down at the wristband.

"If we can't even take it off, how do you expect to turn it into a radio?" Octavia asked bluntlyโ€” leaning back against a container behind her.

"How do we keep them on?" Indigo asked, ignoring Octavia's blunt questionโ€” which was only putting doubt into Monty's head.

Monty looked up at the two girls again going to say somethingโ€” but the hatch door began to clang. The three immediately looked over at the door that flung openโ€” revealing Atom, who just stared at them for a moment before climbing back down the ladder.

Octavia looked at the two for a moment, making Indigo roll her eyes and smile at the girl, "Go on." Indigo said as Monty nodded at Indigo.

"Yeah, I'll be fine. Work to do." Monty saidโ€” looking over at Indigoโ€” as if he was informing her to head out too.

Octavia smiled widely at the two, getting up and ruffling the two's hairโ€” before rushing to the hatch to leave the dropship. Octavia began to go down the ladder but stopped and looked over at the two.

"Hey, Monty?" Octavia called outโ€” causing the two to look back over at the girl, "Jasper would understand why you stayed."

Monty just stared at her blankly, "How is someone raised beneath the floor not a total basket case?" he questioned, causing Octavia to scoff.

"Who says I'm not?" she shrugged with an amused expression, before climbing down the ladder, hugging Indigo and Monty one last smile before fully leaving.

Indigo and Monty surprisingly hung out the whole day. Monty did still seem upset about Jasper and Indigo would try and take his mind off itโ€” by asking questions about the wristbands, joking with him, making small talk, and just small things like that.

Monty told Indigo a lot about Jasper and how they both used to gawk at Indigo in Earth skills. Indigo just laughed at the whole thingโ€” since she hadn't seen her reflection in two years, so she didn't exactly understand why they found her attractive.

The two were in the middle of a conversation when there was shouting about how the group was back. Indigo and Monty glanced at one anotherโ€” before rushing out of the dropship, anxiety filling the two's bodies.

Indigo and Monty stood side by sideโ€” watching spacewalker and Wells carrying Jasper's limp body. Indigo raised a hand to her mouth at his state.

"Is he-?" Monty began a question but was quickly cut off by Clarke who rushed into the dropship. Octavia rushed over to herโ€” eyes wide, staring at Jasper.

"I need boiled water and straps of cloth for bandage," Clarke ordered, as they rushed into the dropship. Indigo quickly stopped Monty grabbing his forearm.

"He's going to be alright." Indigo noddedโ€” her tone hoarse at the fact that Jasper was in such horrible condition, since yesterday he was fine.

"I know," Monty said, giving her a nod, before leaving her and rushing into the drop ship. Octavia stood next to Indigo who just stared at the drop ship.

Indigo heard shuffling from behind herโ€” and Octavia and Indigo quickly turned around, to see Bellamy and Murphy holding some kind of body wrapped in cloth. Bellamy then lifted the cloth from itโ€” revealing a dead black panther.

The cloth it was on was blood-soakedโ€” the crimson coming out to get Indigo once again. Indigo stepped back at the sight, staring down at the lifeless animal.

"Who's hungry?!" Bellamy asked the crowd of juveniles who surrounded the body. They all hadn't eaten in almost two daysโ€” their mouths practically watering at the sight.

The crowd began to cheerโ€” but Indigo felt sick to her stomach at the sight. Indigo shook her headโ€” and began to walk off but felt a hand wrap around her wrist. Indigo quickly whipped around, seeing Bellamy.

"What's the matter? Vegan?" he asked her with a smirk, but Indigo just stared at himโ€” her face deadpanned. Bellamy let go of her wrist after not gaining the rise out of her he wanted.

Indigo just shook her head at himโ€” not even being able to muster out words. He stared at her with a confused look, unsure of what she was acting so weird about. Indigo just glanced at Octavia who was staring at the two with a confused look. Indigo then walked back to the dropshipโ€” guilt rising in her.

She hadn't seen any animalsโ€” and the first one she saw was blood-soaked. Indigo assumed it was a bad omen, the red kept coming back to taunt her, pull her from realityโ€” and push her back into the past.

Indigo went up to the third levelโ€” seeing Monty, Clarke, Wells, and spacewalker all rushing to take care of the boy who lay on a sleeping bagโ€” cloths all around him.

The moment Indigo's presence was sensed by the
groupโ€” they all turned their heads to look at the blue-eyed girl. Indigo slowly got upโ€” giving them all a confused lookโ€” and not particularly enjoying the attention falling on her.

"Is he okay?" Indigo asked, slowly stepping towards the boy who was asleep on the floorโ€” a cloth on his chest wound.

"He got a spear to the chest." spacewalker said as if she were stupid to ask the question. Indigo then rolled her eyes at himโ€” and kneeled to Jasper's side.

"You know what I meant," Indigo muttered, not taking her gaze from the wounded boy. Monty stared at Indigo looking at Jasper.

"He'll be okay, right, Clarke?" Monty asked
Clarkeโ€” moving his gaze from Indigo to Clarke.
Clarke didn't say anything for a momentโ€” just staring down at the girl who was staring at Jasper.

"I think so..." Clarke saidโ€” her tone almost unsure of herself. Clarke then kneeled next to Indigo and glanced at herโ€” then the boy in front of the two.

"I know so," Indigo said in almost a whisperโ€” pressing her lips into a thin line after speaking. Clarke then looked up at the unfamiliar girl.

"Indigo, right?" Clarke askedโ€” once Indigo's name was said she quickly turned her head to the culprit. Indigo stared at the blonde for a moment before slowly
noddingโ€” unsure how she knew her name.

"Yeah." Indigo confirmed, "You're Clarke?" Indigo asked, to which she received a nod from the blonde, "How do you know my name?"

"Bellamy." Clarke sighed at the nameโ€” pulling her gaze from Indigo to Jasper once again. Spacewalker then stared at the girl for a moment.

Indigo raised her eyebrows in surprise at the fact Bellamy would even mention her. Indigo opened her mouth to speak but was cut off.

"You're Indigo?" Space walker askedโ€” his eyebrows furrowed at the realization. Indigo glanced up at him with a questioning look.

"Yeah, why?- Wait- what did that fucker say about me?" Indigo then changed her expression into a hostile oneโ€” wanting to go punch him in the face if he said anything.

"What?" Clarke askedโ€” clueless, confused on why she was so hostile about him, "He just was constantly talking about you to Murphy."

Indigo furrowed her eyebrows, "About what?" she asked, unsure of what he would even say about her if it wasn't badโ€” at least that's what she assumed it wasn't bad from the way Clarke was making it seem.

"Something about potential." spacewalker
shruggedโ€” patting a rag to Jasper's head, kneeling beside him.

"Potential?" Indigo began to standโ€” a slight grimace on her face, not exactly understanding what that meant and how he meant it.

"Yeah," Clarke nodded, trying to think of what he was saying, "Finn, pass the water, please?" Clarke asked 'Finn'.

"So you're talking about me now?" Indigo walked over to Bellamy who was standing by the bond fireโ€” tossing wood in it, whilst Murphy and some of Bellamy's other posse went somewhere to skin the black panther.

"What?" Bellamy turned around, seeing Indigo walking towards him. Bellamy had a confused look on his face whilst she stopped a few feet in front of him.

"I heard from someone that you were talking about me." Indigo shrugged, pushing her hands into her puffer jacket's pockets, shrugging at Bellamy.

"I wasn't talking about you?" he said more as a question as he stared at her blankly for a momentโ€” before grabbing more wood and tossing it into the large fire.

"Something about..." Indigo stepped closer to him, "potential?" Indigo clicked her tongue staring at Bellamy, hoping for a real answer.

Bellamy froze for a momentโ€” not throwing the piece of wood into the fire that was in his hands. He then turned to her and tossed the wood on the groundโ€” before crossing his arms over his chest.

"So what?" he askedโ€” almost testing her to try and pry more. Indigo licked her teeth and looked awayโ€” her eyes trained on Octavia who was beingโ€” awfully close with Atom.

Indigo then averted her face back to Bellamy, "It's okay if you don't like me. I just don't-" Indigo began but was quickly cut off by Bellamy.

"Indigo, just go and mess with moss. Don't dig deeper than you need to." Bellamy said, pinching the bridge of his nose at her words.

Indigo furrowed her eyebrows at the fact he even paid attention to her enough to know she was always picking moss off rocks and trees.

Indigo stared at him blanklyโ€” as he dropped his hand from his face, grabbing more wood to throw into the orange fire. Indigo stared at him for a moment more before leaving.
