amandla smiles and waves at the camera. ❝ well hello, everyone. good morning, ❞ she laughs. ❝ before i start my day i just want to ask: how are you all? how's your week been? how's school going? i hope you're all well, healthy, and taking care of yourselves. ❞

𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲⠀⠀𝟬:𝟬𝟯 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀

❝ i had a couple of videos already pre-filmed, edited, and ready to go that i could upload for this friday's video, but i decided to film a mini vlog and do a quick life update for everyone. ❞ amandla runs a hand through her hair. ❝ about over a week ago now, i made the spontaneous decision to move across the world and leave behind everything i know. ❞ she pauses, staring blankly at the camera.

❝ yeah... stupid idea, i know but i was talking with the thottobot squad—keilah, rowan, sunny, zendaya, kc, and avery—and was told that it might be a good idea for me to move. now, for those who don't follow keilah winters—my best friend—she recently moved to london to live with her boyfriend. ever since we were teens, we talked heavily about moving to the UK when we got older. it's just been a special place to us for various reasons, and keils decided to finally do it.

❝ my life has been quite stagnant and it was pointed out to me that you don't grow when you're comfortable. and i've gotten very comfortable with where i am in life, and there's absolutely nothing wrong with that. however, due to some personal events that have taken place in the past year, i have found myself not really dealing and coping with my emotions. i've kind of suppressed how i feel and that's not healthy. by staying in a place where i'm comfortable, i've found comfort in ignoring my own feelings because of my comfortability. if that makes sense.

❝ and i think a lot of that has to do with where i live and the memories i have here. they're mostly happy memories but... i don't know. ❞ amandla huffs, frowning. ❝ it's difficult to explain exactly how i feel and what i'm thinking. the point is i'm moving to london and i have exactly two days, including today, before i leave. ❞

𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲⠀⠀𝟭:𝟰𝟵 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀

the clip jumps and amandla is laying on her side. ❝ it's taken like four sleepless nights but i finally found the perfect dream house yesterday and closed on it this morning. which, by the way, thank you for watching my videos and supporting my channel. i literally would not be able to do any of this without you. ❞ she smiles. ❝ continuing on, i finished cleaning out my closet the other day and filled the trunk of my mom's car with clothes. i sold all of my furniture and shipped the furniture i'm keeping, along with clothes and my car, yesterday. i absolutely adore my car and am not giving it up, and i got a good deal with a shipping company on the price to ship it. all i have left to do are some miscellaneous tasks that we will be taking care of today.

❝ first, i am going to go to the post office and mail something to rowan. second, my mom and i are going to go to goodwill and drop off the clothes. third, i need to go to the bank. fourth, my mom has to take photos of me for her website while we're out. fifth, going to the nail salon to get my nails done because i'm extra and my hands look scary right now. sixth, come home and pack my suitcase and carry-on. ❞

𝗺𝗶𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗲⠀⠀𝟱:𝟯𝟱 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘀

amandla looks to her mom. ❝ i thought you said you were dressing casual today, ❞ she notes.

❝ excuse me for wanting to look cute for your vlog, ❞ valeria retorts.

amandla laughs. ❝ girl, we're going to run errands. why are you wearing heels? ❞

❝ seriously? ❞ valeria's face drops.

❝ yes. ❞ amandla laughs, nodding and glancing back at her mom.

❝ i thought we were just going to take pictures. ❞ valeria replies, brows furrowed.

❝ we are, but we're also running errands. i told you at breakfast what our plans were, ❞ amandla laughs, shaking her head.

valeria chuckles. ❝ well, i tuned out after i heard you mention mortal kombat. everything else afterward was kind of just static. ❞

amandla gasps.

amandla lets go of the wheel and quickly moves her hands. ❝ ew, i absolutely hated that, ❞ she cringes. her mom laughs again.

❝ so, we're outside the post office. my mom— ❞ amandla laughs, ❝ —is struggling in her heels. really don't know why she thought that was a good idea. ❞

❝ no, i am not struggling, ❞ valeria calls.

amandla turns around. ❝ i just saw you trip! ❞

❝ you saw nothing! ❞

❝ the wind is blowing so hard, oh my gosh, ❞ amandla says, bringing the back of her hand up to her forehead. ❝ so, we just finished taking pictures and i changed back into my workout athleisure even though i don't work out. my mom is using the public restroom at this park and then we're going to head to the nail salon. it's been a long day, even though i haven't shown all that much in the vlog. i'm very excited for the next few days and to see keils and harrison. ❞

❝ it is now six o'clock and i am officially done packing and everything. 'bout to spend all of tomorrow editing and sleeping, ❞ amandla sighs. ❝ i just got off of facetime with ethan and he's planning on flying out sometime soon, which i'm super happy about. i only saw him two weeks ago but i miss him. distance sucks. anyway! let me not ramble about how much i miss my boyfriend and end this video!

     this is very filler, but everything gets going in the next chapter. from the comments, i know a lot of people don't agree with her moving to london and i completely get that. however, for storytelling's sake, it is happening. for everyone who thinks that her moving is the reason why her and ethan break up, i can confirm that it is not the reason why. the reason why gets pretty messy and isn't resolved until chapter 97.

     also, surprise! tom is officially coming back (for good) into the story in the next chapter! the next four chapters are very important and i'm very excited for everything to be revealed! the truth is coming, everyone!
