     "AM I TOO COMFORTABLE HERE, MOM?" Amandla blurted out, locking her phone and placing it on the kitchen table as she sat down for breakfast the next morning. Looking up from the frying pan, Valeria Jones furrowed her recently plucked brows as she glanced at her daughter. From where she stood, she could make out the underlines of the visible dark circles underneath her eyes and the redness reflecting in them. It was more than evident that the twenty-year-old hadn't slept throughout the night and she'd been crying.

     "What do you mean, Mands?" Valeria asked, flipping over the bacon.

     Sighing heavily, the blonde ran her hands over her face. The past night had been spent thinking over everything in her life and the direction she was headed in. She hadn't slept a wink and her brain was still on overdrive.

     "Keilah told me that someone doesn't grow when they're comfortable. Am I too comfortable with myself and my life, Mom?" Amandla asked, desperately staring at the brunette woman.

     Valeria breathed in deeply and turned off the pan, setting the bacon on a set of paper towels. "I don't know, honey. Do you think you're too comfortable?" she questioned, raising a brow as she made her way over to the kitchen table.

     "I-I don't know, that's the thing. I don't know," Amandla's voice broke and she shook her head. "I mean, I love the way my life is right now. I love everything about it."

     "But?" the woman asked, placing her hand over her daughter's.

     Breathing in deeply, the YouTuber squeezed her eyes shut. "But I don't know. What Keilah said has stuck with me and I know her words are true—I know people don't grow when they're comfortable, but am I too comfortable?" she repeated, raising her head.

     "Do you want my honest opinion, cariño?" Amandla nodded. "I agree with Keilah, and I also believe that you may have grown too comfortable. Everything has been quite stagnant and still in the last almost year, aside from family. Yes, you have found stability and love and happiness, but you've also lost quite a lot. You've spent so much time working, traveling, and being there for your father and I, the Dolan's, and your friends. You haven't taken any true time for yourself—the time you need to heal open wounds and put yourself first. Of course, I don't know what it was that caused Keils to say this, but whatever it was, maybe consider it. However, do what feels right. Do what you believe is best for you." Valeria concluded, giving her daughter a soft smile.

     Moving her eyes away from her mother's, the blonde sighed as she blinked away the thin wall of tears. She was right.

     hey everyone!! i hope you all enjoyed the seventy-first chapter!

     Y'ALL GOT FOUR CHAPTERS UNTIL THE TRUTH IS REVEALED!!!!!! i told you it wasn't going to take forever. i update this book way too much, but i'm trying to complete it highkey soon.

     anyway, amandla is moving to the UK!!!!! woo-hoo!!!!!!!! (i'm so predictable, wow. please don't hate me, it's for the sake of the story and amandla's character progression, i swear.)

     i just wanna say that during this time, in real life, the dolan twin's father's cancer got worse and he only had a few months left. and yes, that storyline is in this book. so if that wasn't happening, the twins would have gone with her. however, due to family, they have to stay in the states. also, valeria will be moving out to the UK at some point but that doesn't happen for a few more years.

     i'm so excited for the rest of this act. everything is about to get really tense and i can't wait.

     recently, i counted out the days and if i continue to update every day... this book could potentially be completed by february 15th. i don't know if that's likely to happen because i don't think i will be able to finish writing everything in time, but we'll see.
