実生活 // 𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐥 𝐥𝐢𝐟𝐞

     DOUBLE CLICKING ON THE TITLE SLOT, SHE BEGAN TYPING OUT THE TITLE FOR TOMORROW'S VIDEO. Pressing down on the keys of her laptop lightly, she sighed softly. It was slowly approaching midnight and the YouTuber was growing tired, but she wanted to finish editing her video and wait for Tom to get back from set. She'd only seen him hours ago, but she missed him and was ready to end the day by cuddling.

     A few minutes passed by and the finishing touches had been applied. Smiling lightly to herself, the black-haired girl began uploading the video to YouTube, scheduling for it to go live at 3 in the afternoon tomorrow.

     Placing her laptop on the nightstand, she pushed back the bedcovers and hopped out of the bed. She ran a hand through her hair and walked to the bathroom, cringing slightly at her reflection when she noticed how messy her natural curls had gotten since her shower earlier. Pulling her hair up, she reached for the cheetah print scrunchie on her wrist; wrapping her hair into a messy bun.

     On the other side of the hotel room, Tom had made his way inside, closing and locking the door behind him. As he slipped his shoes off, his eyes traveled around the room, searching for the freckle-faced beauty that was supposed to be there. Walking forward, he slid off his jacket and tossed it on the couch before noticing the light in the bathroom was on and the sound of someone softly humming could be heard. A bright smile spread across his face and he quietly tip-toed forward.

     Peaking around the corner, he smirked as he watched Amandla finish up brushing her teeth. She looks so beautiful.

     The YouTuber was in a world of her own as she continued humming, placing her toothbrush in the small cosmetic bag she'd left the other night. For the past few days, she'd been staying the night at Tom's and she'd been loving every moment of it. Falling asleep and waking up at whatever time he had to be up was becoming an event that she'd begun to look forward to every day. Cuddling was something Amandla adored and the fact that she got to every day with the boy she never thought she'd ever meet—let alone date—was surreal.

     The deep conversations they randomly had at night and the sweet kisses were only furthering the downward spiral of Amandla falling for the brown-haired Brit. Everything about him was imperfectly perfect and the more she learned, the more she found herself liking him. She'd liked him a lot before, but now her feelings were only growing stronger and she could feel herself beginning to fall quicker.

     As she zipped up the cosmetic bag, she failed to notice a shadow moving behind her as she was still humming blissfully. The moment she felt a set of arms wrap around her, that was when she snapped back to reality. Jumping, she looked up in the mirror to see that it was Tom who was holding her. "Fucking hell, you scared me," she mumbled, sighing as she leaned back into his embrace.

     Chuckling, the actor pressed a kiss to the back of her neck. "Sorry, love," he murmured, pressing another kiss behind her ear as he squeezed her softly.

     Biting down on her lip, she held back a smile as Tom laid his head on her shoulder. "How was filming? I know you were finishing up that fight scene with Michael," she breathed, referring to Michael Keaton, that of whom she had the pleasure of spotting on the other side of set and nearly screaming that she loved him before Zendaya had to drag her away.

     "It was good. We thankfully finished that scene tonight. Tomorrow though, I'll be filming with Jacob the whole day," Tom mentioned, unwrapping his arms from around Amandla.

     Turning around, she followed the brown-haired boy out of the bathroom and sat on the edge of the bed. "John's going to have loads of fun then; yelling at the both of you to quit laughing," she chuckled, thinking back to all the times she'd seen the two film scenes together and do nothing but laugh.

     Opening a dresser drawer, Tom shook his head, snorting as he grabbed a pair of boxers and basketball shorts. "Oh yeah, he's going to be so proud of all the work we'll get done," he retorted, shaking his head as a small smile dangled on his lips. Shutting the drawer, he turned around and made his way over to the YouTuber. "I'm going to take a shower real quick."

     Amandla nodded and raised a curious brow as he stopped and looked down at her. He was silently staring at her, his caramel-brown eyes had a bright glow glimmering in them as they washed over her features. "What?" she asked softly, scrunching her eyebrows together in confusion. Was there something on her face?

     "You're beautiful," Tom murmured, smiling softly as he noticed a light pink blush dusting the black-haired girl's cheeks. Cupping her cheek with his free hand, he leaned down and pressed a gentle kiss to her forehead before pulling away.

     "You're not so bad yourself," Amandla sighed, gazing up at him happily as her cheeks maintained their rosy pink color.

     Tom chuckled. "I'll be back in a minute," he said, stepping back and she nodded, watching as he retreated into the bathroom and disappeared from sight.

     Turning around, Amandla crawled across the bed and grabbed her laptop, checking to see how long the upload time was going to be. Five hours. Well, that's what she got for uploading a thirty-three-minute video. At least it wouldn't take as long as some of her past videos. She leaned over the edge of the bed and grunted as she strained her arm, reaching for the charging cord.

     Once she'd gotten hold of it, she was quick to plug in her laptop and close the top of it halfway, placing it underneath the bedside table. Sliding back underneath the covers, she turned onto her right side and snuggled into the pillow, turning on her phone and beginning to scroll through Twitter.

     In contrast to how the day had played out already, the next fifteen minutes flew by expeditiously. Perhaps that was because the YouTuber was watching a vine compilation and giggling quietly to herself. But before she knew it, the bed dipped down and the sudden movement caused her eyes to flicker up. The moment her gaze landed on the actor, her smile widened.

     "Damn, that was quick and you're uh," Amandla's eyes widened and she paused as she looked Tom up and down, "y-you're not wearing a shirt."

     Raising his brows, Tom smirked as he slid underneath the covers. "Is that a problem?" he asked, gently taking her phone and placing it on the other bedside table before turning off the lamp, leaving them in complete darkness. Turning back to face the black-haired girl, he wrapped his arm around her waist.

     Shaking her head, Amandla gulped as her eyes adjusted to the darkness. "Nope, not at all," she mumbled, trying to ignore the shivers running down her spine as she felt his hand slip under her shirt, his fingers running along her back.

     "You sure?" Tom whispered, pulling her close and pressing his lips to hers, kissing her gently before pulling away.

     "Mhm," Amandla hummed, nodding her head slowly. A small smile spread across her face as their lips reconnected and she rested her hand in the crevice between his neck and shoulders. Their lips continued to move in sync as Amandla felt Tom's hand leave her back and within a matter of milliseconds, the sheets had shifted and he was on top.

     Pulling back, the YouTuber smirked. "Would you look at that... you're finally on top," she joked, running her fingers along his chest as he stared down at her adoringly.

     "It took me a while, but yeah, I'm on top and I don't plan on moving," he breathed; his eyes darting between her own as he felt her fingers lightly scratching his back.

     At his words, Amandla couldn't help but smirk as she wrapped her free arm around his neck, pulling him closer. The moment their lips connected, both of them smiled. They were happy.

     ok, i know i didn't update friday or yesterday like i usually do. i've been in a little bit of a depressive funk & haven't been motivated to do anything. i hope you all enjoyed this chapter and the cute tomandla moment. i will hopefully be updating on friday!
