This chapter is sort of going to be snippets of moments throughout the year. xx

I stood in the entrance of Potter Manor as I waited for Sirius to finish getting ready. Today would be Narcissa and Lucius' wedding.

James was hesitant to let me go because he knew there would be Death Eaters there, that's how he ended up forcing Sirius to go so I would not be alone. Sirius of course was not very happy about this but he agreed nonetheless.

I was dressed in a simple black dress and heels. I would be changing into my bridesmaids dress later when I got ready with Narcissa and, her sisters, the other two bridesmaids.

Andromeda accepted the invitation despite the fact that their mother deeply disagreed. They also didn't want Sirius to attend but Narcissa asked them all to keep quiet about who was their because it was her special day.

After what seemed like forever, Sirius finally finished getting ready. He was wearing a black suit. James followed our behind him.

"Be careful, yeah." James said as he leaned down to kiss me. I smiled and pulled him into a hug, wrapping my arms around his neck and his around my waist.

"I'll be fine, Narcissa has forbid anyone from ruining her wedding day and Merlin knows how scary she can be." I let out a giggle. "Bye James."

The wedding was wonderful. Lucius was nearly in tears as he watched his soon-to-be wife walk down the aisle. My new sister-in-law.

The ceremony was so beautiful and even the after party was stunningly decorated. Sirius, however, was not having a great time.

"Sirius, I just want to go congratulate them and then we can go." I smiled at him.

He furrowed his eyebrows, "we don't have to do that. He's your brother after all."

I sighed but chuckled, "yes and he always will be my brother. Now come on, you look absolutely miserable."

He chuckled but followed me to my brother. We reached them just after they thanked another couple who congratulated them.

I squealed and pulled Narcissa into a tight hug. "You're finally married!" I pulled away and turned to Lucius as well. "Look after her Lucius, or I will destroy you. I don't care if you're my brother." I said sternly.

He chuckled and pulled me into a hug. "I'd let you destroy me if I ever treated her wrong." He whispered into my shoulder. I squeezed him before letting go.

Sirius has just finished congratulating Narcissa and he turned to my brother. He put out his hand to shake, "congratulations."

Lucius looked at him for a second before gripping his hand tightly and shaking it. "Thank you." He nodded. "Make sure my sister doesn't get herself killed, will you."

I scoffed but Sirius laughed, "James already has that under control." Lucius smiled. If only they knew I was already on the way to getting myself killed.

We said out goodbyes and left.

July came and went and before I knew it, it was the 6th of August.

The day I would officially become a Death Eater.

I had frequent meetings with Dumbledore, ones James thought I was visiting Narcissa, and he had been teaching me the concealment charm.

Once I had received my Dark Mark I would be going to Dumbledore we would test it out.

To say I was terrified would be an understatement. I wanted the charm to work so badly. I mean what would I say to James? If he found the Dark Mark I don't think I'd even be able to tell him. Dumbledore wouldn't let me. He told me if I was to ever tell someone it must be someone I trusted deeply but also someone who was skilled in Occlumency.

He advised me against telling someone though.

Narcissa looped her arm with my and led me into the large room in the Avery Manor where the Death Eaters were having a meeting. Where I would be getting my Dark Mark.

I had met Lord Voldemort before. Just briefly with my brother when he told him I wanted to join his ranks. Lucius was hesitant to allow me to but he must've thought it was better to introduce me than not.

Voldemort had of course agreed, I was after all related to two of his highest ranking Death Eaters and with someone like Bellatrix on his side he had no doubt a girl would be any less efficient. He was also told I was Head Girl and very skilled. According to my father. He was one of the very first Death Eaters and one of Lord Voldemort's most trusted.

Everyone turned to look who had entered. Voldemort had an evil smirk on his face. "Ah, my newest Death Eater. Come." He stood up.

If Narcissa wasn't there leading me to him I would've fallen over or collapsed from fear and nerves. Despite this, I tried my hardest to stand tall with my chin up and shoulders back.

"Miss Alivia Malfoy." He hissed out. "are you ready to join my ranks...and devote yourself to this...cause." He spoke slowly which made him all the more intimidating.

"Yes, My Lord." The words felt like venom on my tongue as I forced them out.

"Good." He grabbed my left arm and held it out. He took his wand and pushed it to my skin on my forearm. It began to sting and burn and I had to bite my lip to prevent myself from screaming.

I couldn't keep my eyes off of the newly forming Dark Mark. I stared as the ink flowed across and into my skin forming the snake.

It almost looked beautiful. Almost. It was a pity it represents a symbol of such evil and destruction.

A week later and the concealment charm had successfully worked. I reapplied the charm when I got back from another meeting. It lasted as long as I wanted it to and Dumbledore had also taught me a counter-charm to remove it.

I got changed into a dark forest green dress. James told me he wanted to take me out for dinner and to get ready before he got home from his order meeting.

Lucius, Narcissa, and Regulus all confronted me after the meeting. They couldn't believe I was apart of this war. I ended up telling them. I knew Severus had his suspicions but decided to leave it be, respecting my choices.

Lucius was slightly mad though, but I knew he was just worried for my well-being.

I was perfectly fine telling them, during our fifth and sixth years (Regulus' fourth and fifth), we all learned Occlumency. Severus already knew quite a bit of Legilimency and Occlumency so he was the one to help us most.

I brought from my thoughts by the sound of the door opening and voices. I quickly walked downstairs to find Sirius and James. Sirius winked and walked past while James stood there holding the door open. He was already in a nice black tux.

I grabbed his arm and he apparated us to a lovely restaurant in Muggle London. It was beautiful and looked expensive.

We had dinner and even a dessert of cheesecake.

Just as I thought the date was done, James apparated us to a clearing in a small forest. The tress surrounding the clearing had been decorated with fairy lights and candles were floating in the air.

In the middle of the clearing was a blanket, pillows and a champagne bottle.

I grinned widely. This was amazing.

"You did this?" I turned to James who was smirking proudly, "for me?" I asked.

James smiled and nodded, "you deserve the world."

He pulled me towards the blanket. "And I want to give that to you." He stood in front of me and held both my hands in his.

"Alivia Malfoy, I want to spend the rest of my life with you. I want to give you everything you want. I want to make you happy. I want to make you feel loved." My heart stopped when he reached into his pocket. He took out a small box.

"I know it's soon, but I love you so much Alivia. I want to be with you until we grow old and I have never been more sure of anything in my entire life." He knelt down on one knee.

"Alivia Malfoy, will you do me the honour of becoming my wife and spending the rest of forever with me?"

I nodded my head as I felt tears running down my face. His shaking hand slid on the beautiful ring and I tackled him to the ground with a hug, "Yes James, a thousand times yes." I mumbled through my tears.

"I love you so much James Potter."

"I love you too Alivia Malfoy-Potter."
