"I apologised!"

"I don't care!"

"I apologised like 50 times!"

"Are you actually sorry?"

"No."

"You don't do that to someone!"

"I don't understand why you're so upset. It didn't mean anything."

The pair paused for a moment, staring at each other, a hint of regret in Tommy's eyes and obvious hurt in Twinboo's. The female took a deep breath and turned away from the argument and walking away and eventually locking herself in the bathroom.

Tommy let out a tired a sigh and brushed a hand through his hair, turning around only to come face to face with the other 2/3 of the Benchtrio, who looked at him judgingly.

"Don't look at me like that." He said.

"We just want to know what happened," Ranboo replied, his arms crossed over his chest.

Tubbo nodded in agreement and copied his stance, "Yeah, at least tell me why we'll get a noise complaint."

Tommy messed with his hair and nodded with a gulp, "Okay, so we had McDonald's and then we talked and for some reason we started talking about relationships and kisses and first kisses and I kind of kissed her..."

"You did what?!" Ranboo shouted with wide, and understandably angry, eyes.

Tommy took a step back and put his hands before him in defence. "I know. I messed up. I messed up. I shouldn't have done that." He said with a light voice crack, as he slowly moved to stand behind Tubbo just in case.

Ranboo let out a deep breath, while Tubbo forcefully moved Tommy back to where he stood previously. "You have no idea how much I want to punch you right now," the American said, his hands already bawled into fists.

"She already did that to be fair. It still hurts... what do I do now?"

"Apologise!" The Beeduo yelled at him in unison, making Tommy flinch slightly as a reaction.

"I tried, but she wouldn't listen to me."

"Yeah, because you're shit at apologising," Tubbo replied, "You literally just said that you didn't mean what you said."

Tommy scratched the top of his head, "Yeah, butโ€”" he paused as the shorter started to push him into the hallway that lead to the bathroom, "What are you doing?"

"I'm banning you from the room and from streaming until you make up with her," Tubbo said consequent as he pushed a struggling Tommy through the doorway.

"You can't do that!" The blond protested.

"I'm pretty sure I can! I'm doing it right now!" The brunet replied.

"Ranboo say something!"

The tall boy only watched the scene with his arms crossed over his chest, "No you deserve it."

"Oh, come on guys! Don't- lock me out..."

"I thought I couldn't love anymore. Turns out I can't, but not for the same reasons as before. I use everyone I ever meet. I can't find the perfect match. Abuse those I love, while I ostracise the ones who love me..."

Tommy let out a sigh as he sat with his back to the bathroom door, his head resting against it. He had to assume that Twinboo sat opposite by the door to him, judging by the volume of the music that was blasting at him through it.

It was kinda ironic that she would listen to Wilbur's music, as he would have called him for advice if he hadn't left his phone in the room with Tubbo and Ranboo. His voice with the melancholic lyrics and music, just feels like the universe was mocking and taunting him.

Roughly half an hour has passed and he still hadn't made any attempt to apologise, he wasn't even sure if she knew that he was here.

It should be easy, it should in theory, but for some reason he doesn't really know what to say, probably because he doesn't really want to apologise, cause he doesn't really regret what he did... He knows he should, kissing her without asking was a real dick move and he totally understands why she reacted the way she did, but, and he really hates that he thinks that way, it felt really nice. It felt like getting a hug, but a million times better. He was on cloud nine seconds afterwards, until the cold slap of reality hit him.

He never understood why people in movies and tv made such a big deal about kisses and what not, but he thinks he gets it now.

"I hate to say it, but your sister was right. Don't trust English boys with far too much free time. And I hate to say it, but your sister was right. I'm nothing but a problem, leave you crying overnight. And I hate to say it, but your sister was right. I can't focus on the future only my short sight. I hate to say it, but your sister was right. I'm a wanker. Complete wanker. A fucking waste of time..."

"I'm a wanker. Complete Wanker. A fucking waste of time..." Tommy repeated under his breath, pulling his knees closer to his chest and putting his head on them with an exhausted sigh.

He was never gonna get it right. He had one chance to make a good impression on her and he fucked it. He fucked up bad. He would be surprised if she would even consider talking to him after this.

"I'm such an idiot," he said to himself, throwing his head back again to lean against the door. However that was loud enough to garner the attention of the female sitting with her back to the door opposite to him.

She temporarily paused her music and listened again for another sound coming from the other side of the door.

"I mean what was I thinking? Kissing her like that? So stupid..." the familiar voice of a certain blond Brit said, quietly, but still hearable. Suddenly she started to feel bad, a hole forming in the pit of her stomach, somewhat feeling guilty. She didn't think that Tommy would take it so hard since he said that it didn't mean anything anyways...

To be honest her previous reaction, while probably appropriate, wasn't how she was feeling at all. She wasn't angry at him, or upset about her first kiss being stolen away, (well she was in the beginning anyways) but by now she was just confused, kind of shocked and mainly sad about the fact that it didn't mean anything to him, basically confirming to her that he does not reciprocate her feelings for him and just kissed her for the heck of it.

A few tears rolled down her cheeks, but she quickly wiped them away with her arm, sniffling and letting out a sad laugh at the same time.

It's just a stupid crush, nothing to get overly upset over. How could she ever think that someone would like her like that? Especially someone she likes...

"So stupid..." she mumbled to herself, "so goddamn stupid..." She wiped a few more tears from her face and quickly turned on her phone again to play music to distract herself from the crushing reality that is her life.

"You think he'd realise, but he's infatuated with ideas of possessions and far-flung social policy..."

"His daddy works on the Council," she quietly sang along, "The missus loves the silver spoon, swore she'd never kiss a Tory, but this boy was too good to lose..."

Tommy's ear perked up on the other side of the door as the familiar tune and voice of one of his favourite songs rang through the door. He brushed a hand through his messy hair and also started to quietly sing along. "And I'll listen carefully with ears pressed to the floor as you make your way downstairs. You haven't got far to fall. Now it's red, now it's dead. Now it's everything she needed. Now it's four open doors. Pillows pressed under your knees. Now it's a sad, sappy sucker to ensure a happy ending..."

"I've been scared of sleeping with the lights on know she's not there, I know she's going to his flat. A Capricorn, oh, fuck that. They say sex sells, I know that. I've been scared of sleeping with the lights on, know she's not there, I know she's going to his flat. A Capricorn, oh, fuck that, They say sex sells, I know that..."

"Twinboo, you there?" Tommy's voice rang through the door, as the song continues, but a lot gentler an softer than she was used to.

She bit the inside of her cheek and thought for a moment before answering. She really didn't want to have this conversation. "Yeah," she replied.

Tommy took a deep breath, "Look, I'm really really sorry. I never meant to upset you like that. If I had know how you'd react I wouldn't have done it. I was being immature and dumb, and honestly it was very inappropriate. And if Will was her, he'd probably hit me over the head a bunch... I just I can't stand seeing you like this, all upset and shit, even if you have a really good music taste."

The girl stayed silent for another second, not really knowing how to answer. "...Tommy, why did you kiss me?"

Now it was Tommy's turn to stay silent, as he mulled over all the possible answers in his head, but there was only one that was the real unbridled truth.

"Cause I think you're really awesome. And I-I like you a lot. For a while now. And I get it, you probably don't think of me that way, but you know what they say honesty is the best policy. And I would not be able to live with myself if I never told you how I feel..."
