Lucy never thought she would reach the point that she would be using a student's assignment to track someone down. It doesn't exactly feel like the most evil thing she can do, and to be frank, it's quite boring. She misses the days she would just get to torture someone until she got the information she was after—but that wouldn't slide here. On the end, Danny's assignment on telluric currents helped find Deaton's whereabouts, and she headed off with Stiles, Lydia and Cora to Derek's loft where they tried to help Derek against the alpha pack in the meantime.
She didn't think she would grow angry when saw Boyd's dead body in the water. She liked Boyd from the few interactions with him and she knew this was all the alpha pack's fault. She barely knew him, but there was something considerably wrong about his death.
Lucy couldn't be too angry considering that Boyd wasn't really her friend, but she was angry for the packs—he was their friend. As much as she didn't want to admit it either, Stiles was becoming her friend, and she cared a lot about what he thought and how he felt. He was clearly upset by Boyd's death and Lucy promised herself that she would do something about it to make him feel better, even if it meant she had to kill the entire alpha pack along with the darach.
She knew an unhappy Stiles wasn't a useful Stiles, and he wouldn't be able to help her find the darach and she didn't like the idea of an unhappy Stiles.
"You okay?" Lucy asked Stiles after they had found a dead deputy, her name was Tara and she was fairly close to him. She knew it was taking a toll on him finding her dead on top of the Beacon Hills High School sign.
The human boy sighed. "Yeah. Let's just get this day over with." He said as they began to try and catch Ethan alone to talk to him about their emissary.
They met up with Scott who had managed to get Lydia to distract Aiden, leaving Ethan by himself. "Why are you even talking to me? I helped kill your friend. How do you know I won't kill another?" He asked Scott, momentarily looking over at Stiles.
"Is he looking at me?" Stiles asked his friends.
Lucy's eyebrow raised in amusement as she looked at Stiles. "I think he's looking at you." She said. She knew that she would never let anything harm Stiles but it was still amusing to see his reactions whenever someone did threaten him.
Stiles pushed himself off of the wall. "Okay, you know what? I'm going to break off a large bit of mountain ash, wrap it in wolfsbane, cover it in mistletoe and then shove it up your—"
"Okay, Stiles." Scott chuckled. "We get it." He said to his friend, trying to calm him down. Scott then looked back at Ethan. "We're talking to you because I know that you didn't want to kill Boyd and I think that if something like that happened now, you wouldn't do it again."
"You don't know what we owe them, especially Deucalion." Ethan shook his head. "We weren't like Kali and Enid when we met him. We weren't alphas."
"What were you?" Stiles asked.
"Omegas." Ethan answered. "In actual wolf packs, omegas are the scapegoats—the last to eat, the one who has to take the abuse from the rest of the pack."
"So you and your brother were like the bitches of the pack?" Stiles asked.
Lucy chuckled into her hand at his question and how insensitive it was. "Nice." She commented while Ethan nodded, confirming his question.
"What happened?" Scott asked Ethan, trying to get the conversation back on track.
Ethan then shrugged. "They were killers. I mean, people talk about us as monsters. Well, they were the ones who gave us the reputation, and our alpha was the worst of them."
"Why didn't you guys just fight back?" Stiles questioned. "Form Voltron wolf, you know? Kick everyone's asses?"
"We couldn't, we didn't know how to control it back then." Ethan snapped in response.
"Deucalion taught you." Lucy realised, "That's why you're so loyal to him even though he's psychotic."
Ethan nodded once more, "And then, we fought. We took down the whole pack, one by one. And by the time we got to our alpha, he was begging for his life. And we tore him apart." Ethan continued, "Literally."
Lucy grimaced at him slightly. She found it extremely odd how he could be so proud about being a killer while still being a teenager, and how he didn't see anything wrong with what he and his pack were doing. They didn't see it, but Deucalion was still treating them like they were the bottom, only giving them slightly more perks to cover it up and make it look better.
"What about your emissary?" Scott asked him. Ethan didn't answer however, and that was an answer in itself. "They're all dead? Kali and Ennis', too?"
"All of them, except for Deucalion's." Ethan confirmed.
"You mean Morrell?" Stiles brought up.
Before he could say anything, Ethan gasped and grabbed onto his chest in pain. "What's wrong? Are you hurt?" Scott asked.
Ethan shook his head. "Not me—my brother." He said and began to follow after to find his twin.
They followed Ethan into the locker room to see Aiden holding a weight over Cora, Lucy snarled and ran at Aiden, tackling him to the ground and forcing him to drop the weight.
"You can't do this!" Ethan yelled at his brother after yanking him up off of the ground.
"She came at me!" Aiden roared back in defence.
"It doesn't matter!" Ethan argued. "Kali gave Derek until the next full moon. You can't touch him or her."
Aiden then sighed and glared at the group before responding. "Then you should probably tell them that Deucalion wants her as well. She has until the full moon to decide." He said pointing at Lucy.
The twins had both experienced a part of her strength, they had spoken to Deucalion about Lucy and he gave them orders to persuade her to join the pack also, knowing that she would be a valuable asset to the pack.
Ethan scoffed and dragged his twin out of the locker room.
The group looked at Cora. "Uh, guys, I think she's pretty hurt." Stiles pointed out how she wasn't healing. Scott helped her up and she grabbed a washcloth and wet it before wiping away the blood on her forehead. "Are you okay?" Stiles asked her as she noticed how weak she was.
"She doesn't look okay." Lucy commented. Something must be really wrong if she wasn't healing.
Cora rolled her eyes. "I'll heal." She said before taking a step away from the mirror, she began to feel lightheaded and gasped, making the group take a step forward in case they had to catch her. "I said I'm fine." She brushed it off.
"Do you realise how suicidally crazy that was?" Stiles asked her. "What were you thinking going after them?"
"I did it for Boyd." Cora snapped. "None of you were doing anything."
"We're trying." Scott disagreed with her, shaking his head.
"And you're failing." She snapped again. "You're just a bunch of stupid teenagers running around, thinking that you can stop people from getting killed. But all you do is show up late. All you really do is find the bodies." She says and walked out of the locker room.
"She's definitely a Hale." Stiles pursed his lips.
"And I hate her right now for it." Lucy added, then disappearing leaving Stiles, Lydia and Scott by themselves. Cora was out of line by saying that—she wasn't doing anything better either for Boyd by almost getting herself killed, if it weren't for everyone else jumping in, she might've actually succeeded in dying which would've been very counterproductive.
There was a moment of silence before Scott spoke. "Should we talk about what just happened?" He asked. "They said Deucalion wants Lucy apart of their pack."
"They're not getting her." Stiles shook his head. "I highly doubt she'd want any part of it either. Lucy does what she wants; Deucalion wouldn't be able to control her and she wouldn't like to be bossed around by anyone—let alone him. And besides, if she wanted to be apart of their pack, she'd be there by now. They're probably just trying to get inside our heads." He said sighing and tapped Scott on the shoulder. "I'm going to go make sure Cora gets home."
Lucy was fuming, she was furious that this Deucalion had the nerve to try and get her to join his silly pack. This Deucalion was after many people and she wanted to hear why from the person this all seemed to be all about—Derek.
She appeared into his loft and sat on the couch, rolling her eyes at the alarm that went off because of it. She watched as the big burly man came running into the room. "Hello, handsome." She says to him, standing up. "I believe you and I are long overdue for a chat." Derek growled, his face changing to one of a werewolf before charging at her. She rolled her eyes once again and pushed him off of her, sending him to the ground. "I'm not here to fight you. I'm here for answers."
He sat up, surprised at how strong she was without even trying. "About what?"
"Deucalion." She answered him and blinked at her in surprise at the mention of the name. "Deucalion apparently wants you and I apart of his pack. I want to know everything and anything I can about him before I rip him and his pack apart with my bare hands." She said walking over towards the table.
Derek opened his mouth to speak before he was interrupted by Lucy's phone ringing. She shifted and picked it up seeing it was Stiles calling and held up a finger at Derek to give her a minute. "I think my dad might be one of the next sacrifices." Stiles says over the phone. "I have to tell him everything."
"Do you need me there?" She asked him.
"No. I think you being there would freak him out more, I have Cora with me to help." Stiles informed her. "I just need to make sure he's going to be okay."
"Your dad is going to be fine, Stiles. I'll make sure of it." Lucy reassured. "I'm getting some answers on Deucalion and why he wants me apart of his pack, and then I'll be right over to help you out, okay?"
Stiles sighed. "Okay." He said before hanging up the phone.
Lucy looked back at Derek and crossed her arms. "Now, where were we?" She asked.
Another man ran into the room seconds later. "I heard the alarm go off." He said to Derek before looking at Lucy. "Now, I see why." His eyes then flashed blue and Lucy smirked as she began to read him. Peter Hale, werewolf, former alpha turned beta, killer of many, sinner of wrath and pride, brother to the late powerful Tahlia Hale.
"It's okay, Peter." Derek dismissed him. "She wants what we all want; she wants Deucalion gone." The man then sent his uncle a side eyed look since if he was actually being attacked, he could've been dead by the time Peter came in to help.
Peter raised his eyebrows and sat on the couch behind him before motioning her to continue, no longer feeling the need to attack her. "That is interesting." He commented.
"Why would he want you apart of his pack?" Derek asked her curiously.
"Simple." Lucy said as she flashed her eyes. "I'm the devil." She answered. She smirked at their shocked faces. "I know. I look cuter in person, you don't have to tell me."
Peter stood up and walked towards her intrigued. "Why would the devil be in Beacon Hills?"
Lucy shrugged. "I was summoned here accidentally by the darach, I plan on killing it and the alpha pack since they keep dragging me into their messes. I haven't even seen him in person myself and yet he believes I'll be all willing to just join his pack and become his bitch?"
"Deucalion and the rest of his pack were once alphas of their own respective packs, after he lost his sight and a beta tried to overthrow him, he discovered that if an alpha kills their beta, it makes them more powerful than ever before." Peter explained to her. "He shared this knowledge with Kali, Ennis and the twins and formed their own pack of super alphas. He wants Derek to join them after he kills the rest of his pack, along with you too, to make his pack even stronger than before."
"But I'm not a werewolf. I don't have a pack and if he believes that by me joining his all-star squad will give him free reign of Hell, he's got another thing coming." Lucy states. She then looked at Derek. "What else is there to know about him?"
"When I met with him, he referred to himself as the alpha of alphas, the apex of apex predators, he called himself death, the destroyer of worlds, and he called himself the demon-wolf—" Derek was interrupted by a snort coming from Lucy, followed by a laugh, to which he glared at her for.
"Sorry, I heard you say demon wolf and I thought you were joking." She says in a fit of laughter.
"Don't you have demon wolves in Hell?" Peter asked her.
She snorted again. "What are we, twelve? No, we have hellhounds like normal people." She answered before holding her hands up, "Listen, this Deucalion holds himself up on this very high pedestal, but I refuse to join his pack. I'm sure you don't want any part of it also considering you've been fighting him off for this long."
"What do you suggest we do?" Derek asked her.
Lucy shrugged. "Kill them." She said before walking over towards the door, she turned back at him and winked. "Until next time, handsome." She said before closing the door.
Lucifer appeared into Stiles room and she watched as Stiles tried to explain everything that has been happening in Beacon Hills by using a chess board. "This is creative." She said walking into the room.
"Scott and Derek are werewolves?" Noah Stilinski asked.
"Yes." Stiles nodded.
"And Kate Argent was a werewolf?"
"Hunter." He corrected. "That's—purple's hunter." He said pointing at the purple stick-it note on the chess piece.
"Along with Allison and her father." Cora added.
"Yeah." Noah nodded, whispering. "And my friend Deaton, the veterinarian, is a kanima?"
"I think you've broken him." Lucy commented, seeing how they were definitely losing him.
"No, no, no. He's a druid, okay? Well... we think." Stiles corrected him again, shaking his head.
"So, who's the kanima?" Noah asked his son.
"Jackson." Stiles answered.
"No, Jackson's a werewolf." He said pointing at the werewolf stick-it note.
"Jackson was the kanima first, and then Peter and Derek killed him and he came back to life as a werewolf. Now, he's in London." Stiles explained.
"Who's the da-rack?" Noah asked getting fed up with the new information.
"It's da-rarc." Stiles corrected.
"But we don't know yet and that's what we're trying to figure out." Lucy stated.
"But he was killed by werewolves?" The sheriff asked.
"Slashed up and left for dead." Stiles confirmed.
"We think." Cora added.
"And who's she?" The sheriff pointed at Lucy.
Stiles then chuckled nervously at his dad knowing he was probably gonna send him insane with what he was about to tell him. Even he was so confused as to why he was okay with being around something that was considered a myth. "About that, she uh—"
"Lucifer." Lucy smiled pointing at the only red post it note. "Also known as Satan, the devil, dark lord, queen of Hell—"
"Yeah, we get it." Stiles interrupted her. "But yeah, Lucy's the devil." He said.
Noah took a moment before looking back at his son confused. "Why was Jackson the kanima?" He questioned.
"Because sometimes the shape that you take reflects the person that you are." Stiles answered his dad.
"And what shape would an increasingly confused and angrier-by-the-second father take?" Noah asked angrily.
"Uh, that would be more of an expression like the one you're currently wearing." Stiles said nervously, fidgeting with his hands, causing Lucy to roll her eyes. Noah rolled his eyes also and stood up, going to walk out of the room. "Dad, I can prove it, okay? Look, she's one of them. A werewolf." He said pointing at Cora. "And Lucy would be more than willing to prove what she is too."
"Stiles!" Noah snapped. "That's enough." He said before walking towards the door.
"Dad, can you please just hold on?" Stiles asked. Noah sighed and stopped walking, he turned back around and looked back at the three. "You ready?" He asked Cora and Lucy, who both nodded. Cora stood up. "Okay, dad, just watch this."
A second later, Cora's eyes fell back into her head and she collapsed to the ground unconscious. "Well, that wasn't supposed to happen." Lucy commented.
Noah looked at Stiles. "Call an ambulance." He ordered.
After they had dropped Cora off at the hospital, Stiles informed Lucy that the pack thinks that the darach is going to strike at the recital that night. She took the information and headed straight to the high school where she sat along the students, Scott eventually joining her.
Scott's eyes widened as Lydia then joined them. "I thought you were going home." He said to her.
"I can't. I don't know why I'm the one that keeps finding the bodies, but maybe if I just stopped trying to fight it, I'd find them before it happens, maybe with enough time for someone like you to do something about it." She said to Scott, causing Lucy to stiffen.
Lydia was the one finding the bodies? Did that mean she was —? No, it couldn't be. She couldn't be it.
"You get me the time, and I'll do something about it." Scott said. "I swear to God, I will." Lydia then grabbed onto his hand and gave it a squeeze.
The three watched as the orchestra began to play, the music was beautiful and soft, and Lucy did always appreciate good music. Soon, Allison, Isaac and Chris Argent walked into the room along with Stiles.
Lydia had to excuse herself saying that she had to go see someone and that she would be back in a few minutes. Lucy went back to scanning the room, trying to find the darach or trying to find the person who would be the next victim.
The tone soon changed with the orchestra and Lucy recognised it immediately. "Somethings not right." She said to the group. "Go find Lydia, now." She said to Scott and Stiles and they followed her orders. Lucy then looked among the crowd seeing as they were also confused as to what was happening.
The chanting was beginning to annoy her and before she knew it all she could hear was a blood curdling scream, one that would only come from a banshee. It was Lydia's. "Now that's what I'm talking about." She smirked, but then realised she was in danger and followed after after it.
She ran to one of the classrooms, she no longer cared about the sacrifice in the room, she needed to get to Lydia. She ran toward the scent seeing a woman holding a knife to Lydia's throat. Lucy roared, baring her claws, her eyes completely black as she stared at the woman. Julia Baccari, now known as Jennifer Blake, ex emissary to Kali's old pack, now a darach.
Lucy smirked as she was finally face to face with the darach that brought her here. "I've been waiting for this moment for a long time." She snarled, Jennifer took a step towards her and Lucy charged right at hers the two beginning to fight.
"Drop the knife!" Noah Stilinski yelled out at Jennifer, holding his gun up. Jennifer threw the knife and it landed in his shoulder, causing him to drop the gun and fall to his knees clutching his shoulder. Lucy roared seeing Noah in pain, knowing it would upset Stiles knowing that he got hurt when she said he wouldn't and she charged at Jennifer once more, tackling her to the ground.
Jennifer was strong, she had nearly completed all the sacrifices she needed for her to be at her full potential, but she still wasn't as strong as Lucy. No matter how many times she pushed her away, Lucy always came right back, hitting her harder. Scott eventually followed the sounds of them fighting and joined in, trying to protect Lucy and Lydia. Jennifer was too strong for Scott as she pushed him away to the ground, knocking him out.
Stiles ran towards the classroom, he stopped at the doorway when he saw the sight of his english teacher standing over Scott, Lucy, Lydia and his father. Using her abilities, Jennifer pushed the desk against the door, blocking it from the inside, making sure that Stiles wouldn't be able to be let in.
Lucy wouldn't want Stiles in the room anyway, she didn't want him hurt. She looked back up at Jennifer and growled, running at her, kicking her in the throat, sending her back into the chalk board. It gave time for Noah to grab his gun and point it at Jennifer.
She began to walk towards him. "Take one more step towards him and I'll end you right here." Lucy snarled. Jennifer stopped.
"There was a girl. Years ago, we found her in the woods, her face and body was slashed apart. That was you, wasn't it?" Noah asked her, recalling the memories.
"Maybe I should've started with philosophers, with knowledge and strategy." Jennifer smirked and began stalking towards Noah, causing him to shoot her in the leg to try and slow her down, his eyes widened as the wound healed almost instantly. "Then healers, warriors, guardians, virgins."
Lucy growled as the darach continued to walk towards Noah. Jennifer grabbed Noah by the knife in his shoulder and pushed him up against the stack of chairs, digging the knife into his chest more, she grabbed the sheriff's badge off of his clothes, crushing it and sending it to the ground.
Lucy snarled and grabbed Jennifer by the throat to try and get her away from Noah, but she instantly grabbed Lucy by the neck and snapped it, sending her unconscious.
By the time Stiles got into the classroom, Noah and Jennifer were gone.
