Valak existed when the beginning came. He was born with his sister, Elaine during that. They were the first embodiments to exist in the world before the rest and the gods. He represented the moon. She represented the sun. He was the embodiment of the end. She was the embodiment of the beginning. they used to have a healthy relationship. They used to bond together like siblings and get along. However, Valak had grown to realize how the mortals favored his sister more than him. How they seemed to shame his beautiful moon and avoid the night. They always preferred the warm sun and the lovely start of new things. They always shunned the cold glow of the moon and the harsh end of things. She never acknowledged his pain even when he voiced it. How it hurt him to a crushing extent. His resentment grew the longer he was in her shadow. Eventually he had enough and he turned to the dark. When the first eclipse came so did destruction. While his sister was hidden he had raged destructions and end all over. Letting them feel his wrath for what they had done. His wrath that the sun was what blinded them from knowing what he did. He was the one that prevented her from burning them all to death. He was the one that balanced it all out like she does with the night. When the eclipse passed and she had awoken. Elaine was furious as the burning sun where she forced him away. She locked him away without ever listening or worrying. He spent millennias in his containment waiting for the day he could grow his power back. Finally, he arises again to bring forth The End.
