it took you a bit of time, but you finally managed to get used to the snoring and fall asleep

soft grumbles came out of your mouth before slowly, your eyes opened

you hadn't slept much cause of shidou's loud snoring, but in the end, at least you got to sleep

your half-lidded eyes blinked once, then twice before you caught sight of something pink down at your feet

you pulled yourself up a bit to get a better look at whatever it was when you came face to face with shidou bright pink eyes glowing in the dark

Cafeteria

you ate your food with clear annoyance written all over your face

first, you get barely 3 hours of sleep

second, you're woken up in the worst possible way by your idiot teammate

and third, that same idiot won't let you enjoy your food by yourself

of course you were in a bad mood, shidou was going to be the death of you one way or another

"hey, c'mon, cheer up! it was just a small prank, no need to be so sour about it" shidou poked your filled cheek

"And you're annoying, leave me alone" you grumbled

"stop being moody, I regret picking such a boring teammate like you" the male stuck his tongue out

"just to remind you, I was the one who picked you AND without me, your lonely ass would've been left to lose pathetically without being chosen or even given a chance to perform your 'skills' " you emphasized the fact that without you, he wouldn't even be here

fighting you was futile and you both knew that. all shidou could do was growl at you with a scowl and a tick mark on his face

you currently sat on the grass, stretching your legs and back

a little training on your day off wouldn't do any harm

either way, you were in a bit of a rush to start so you could finish just as fast

because you had made the stupid mistake of telling shidou where you were going and he was currently preparing himself to join you in your training

the usual smart Y/N that wouldn't make a stupid mistake like this had opened her mouth without thinking and now she had to pay the consequences of her actions

you got up and stretched your legs side to side before taking off in a jogging manner

you were going to run a couple of laps around the field before genuinely starting your practice

after your warm-up, you prepared the balls you were going to use placing one in the center and the rest on the sidelines

you had placed multiple cones around to mess up your footing and make you practice your dribbling harder than usual

maybe you had placed too many of them

for normal people, it would've looked like there was nowhere for them to dribble

but for you this was going to usher you to be more creative in your dribbling and improve

of course, you wouldn't join bachira or karasu's level of dribbling and control in a day but there's nothing wrong in changing your style a bit

'if there isn't space on the ground, then I'll have to use the air" you whispered to yourself as you lifted the ball off the ground

at first, it would look like you were juggling the ball till you kicked it further from where you were a bit in the air

let's not forget that gravity exists

the ball began going down to the ground while you rushed toward it avoiding the cones

it'd be better not to fall because if you were to fall, it'd be painful with multiple cones on the floor

you reached the ball and tapped it into the air one more time, but this time you made sure to control it better and not kick it too far ahead

you kicked the ball in the air further but kept it close enough for it to match your dribbling and slowly, you began to increase your speed

this was a great way to practice since you were practicing not only your control of the ball but your spatial awareness in avoiding the cones

next came the goal

you'd have to find a way to shoot the ball in, without you or it touching the ground

you kicked the ball a bit higher so you could position yourself for a proper shot and as it came down to the designated place, you shot it toward the net

if it weren't for that stupid maniac that you had seen at the last moment rush in front of the ball and jump absurdly high to block the shot

and per usual, lady luck was never on your side as the ball bounced off his leg and came straight for your face

'Déjà-vu'

even with the momentum stolen from the contact the ball made with Shidou's leg, the hit was just as hard. your strength never failed to amaze you

your relaxed expression despite the pain morphed into one of dread once you remembered what was coming for you once you made contact with the floor

the cones... 

your body came down and you felt as if you were being pierced by millions of arrows on your back

'I'M GOING TO KILL THAT STUPID UNDERDEVELOPED ROACH!' you thought as a groan came from your mouth due to the immense pain of both being hit in the face by a hard soccer ball and falling on top of a bunch of cones that when I tell you it hurts. IT HURTS

even a person as seemingly invincible as you can feel pain like others

yeah no, practice is cancelled. you couldn't do this right now

Bathhouse

you groaned in pain holding onto your back as you laid in the bath with your soaked towel around your body and another on your head

"Finally a moment of peace and silence away from that bug freak" you looked up with your eyes closed as you sank into the warm water

"I should stay here all day to avoid that underdeveloped cockroach" you opened your eye's to stare at the ceiling while your lips formed a thin like "yeah that's a good idea.."

"YOU'RE NOT ABOUT TO LEAVE ME ALL WITH ALL THE LOSERS OUTSIDE YOU DRAMA QUEEN!" what. the. hell.

"the hell are you doing here your creep, this is the women's bathhouse, get out!" you yelled, holding onto your towel to make sure it wouldn't fall off "how'd you even make it in here without the security cameras catching you!"

"Unlike the male's area, the female's area doesn't have any cameras as respect for your privacy that ego has for you" the male smirked down at you with his usual gelled-up hair "so of course, nobody saw me coming in here"

"you're sick."

"I know, I'm amazing right"

"ok so now that you're done and you've scared me like you wanted to, can you leave?" even if you were covered, you were planning on removing your towel so you could be more comfortable in the water

but with this guy here? no chance

"c'mon on, I'm your teammate, you've gotta be comfortable with me at some point" he had his usual wide smirk "if you want me out so bad then come out and drag me yourself"

the way you could just snatch that smirk off his face but you couldn't risk it

your towel was drenched, if you came out and let go of it, it'd fall off and show off your body to the male which of course was a big no-no

you laid under your sheets, phone in hands

catching up to (f/s) that had posted their weekly episodes ever since you had entered blue lock (f/s) = favourite show/series (ik it stand for favourite snack but whatever 🤷)

ignoring shidou was deemed impossible for you, your last resort was simply blasting whatever into your ears with your headphones so you wouldn't hear his voice

seemed like it was working since even now, he was currently in the room with you but you couldn't hear him and his nonsense

you watched multiple episodes before your eyes started shutting off as you were about to fall asleep

your phone slipped out of your hands and landed on your face specifically hitting your nose

you sprung up and help your nose in pain

you opened your eyes, still wincing at the pain coming from your nose

the room was dark since the lights had been shut off and there were no signs of shidou being anywhere in the room

shrugging at the fact, you laid back down on your bed reaching for your phone

of course it had been shut off due to the long period of time without touching it

you tapped your screen as your phone brightly shined in your face, showing you the time and the notifications at the bottom

it was 2:47 pm

"2:47 pm..." you muttered. something about this time made you feel like you had forgotten something

yesterday, your match ended at 2:20 pm which means that now it's already been 24 hours since your last match

"shidou isn't here and if 24h have already gone by..."

he went out hunting.

you threw the sheets off your body and got out of bed already in the blue lock usual suit. not bothering to put on your shoes, you ran out of the room in socks looking for the blonde psychopath

'if he's out harassing people, nobody is going to want to play us' you weren't going to let shidou ryusei be the reason why you're eliminated

making it to the main hall, shidou was already attacking somebody

it was a male shorter than him with a buzz cut. if it weren't for his pointy nose, you would've assumed it was igaguri

igaguri wannabe was currently floating off the ground since shidou was holding him up by his head

you were too late.

the male had most likely already declined shidou's request to play the two of you, and shidou, per usual (not that you've known him for long), turned to violence in troubling moments

he dropped the male down and a crazed expression made its way to his face

"alright then" he lifted his leg up in an axe kick position "since you people like being complicated, I'll show you what happens when you decline me"

'stupid insect. now that everyone knows how he acts nobody will be willing to play us' you scowled, sweat running down your face

"Operation: chestnut crack, go!" he brought his leg down to hit the male while the other could only hold his head in hopes of decreasing the incoming pain

from your distance, you weren't going to make it to the duo in time to intercept the attack
