"What's wrong with you today?" Hawk asked an extremely quiet Alexa. She only shrugged in return, continuing to move rocks from the barrels. "Alexa!"

"Stop yelling at me!" she shoved him.

"Then talk to me!" he shoved her back.

"Hey!" Johnny yelled at them. "Knock it off!"

Alexa huffed, throwing the rocks. "Demetri made me mad."

"Imagine that." Hawk scoffed, grabbing her arm. "What happened?"

Alexa hesitated, shaking her head. "Nothing. It's stupid."

"You guys breaking up?" he asked her, the two moving the heavy bag together.

"No, I don't think." she said, dropping the bag. "I don't know, maybe he wants to break up with me."

"You and Demetri are breaking up?" Aisha looked over in questioning. "You guys are so good though."

"I told him I loved him." Alexa huffed, throwing a rock rather hard out of anger. "He didn't say it back."

"What the hell? Haven't you been together, like, almost two years?" Aisha gave a weird look.

"Year and a half in a week." Alexa shook her head, whipping sweat from her forehead. "And, you know, whatever. I can't change how he feels, but it still hurts. Like, we've been together so long now."

"Grab him by the nuts and counter punch him." Hawk spoke up from behind her. "Besides, loves overrated anyways. It's for pussies, you aren't a pussy."

Before Alexa could say anything, a horn was heard. Looking over, a man in a cement truck pulled up. Alexa and Aisha shared an odd look, waiting for Sensei Lawrence to go on. "You think winning the All Valley gives you the right to goof off? Well, I got news for you. Winning one championship don't mean squat! A true champion never stops training. You gotta keep moving forward or else you're gonna get stuck exactly where you are. It's like the cement in this truck. If that drum doesn't start turning, the cement inside will harden and get stuck. Is that what you want to happen to you?"

"No, sensei!" they all called back quickly.

"Good." Johnny looked around. "Then climb up, get inside, and make it spin."

"What?" Alexa looked in disbelief.

"You heard me." he shook his head at her.

"Sensei, we're sorry for messing around." Aisha tried to explain.

"We learned our lesson." Hawk added with a pleading look.

Johnny yanked the latter down, having it clang on the side of the truck. "Get in!"

"This motherfucker is crazy." Alexa whispered to Miguel.

"Sensei , this seems kinda dangerous. I mean, the fumes alone-" Miguel starter, hoping to be the one to convince him.

"Quiet!" Kreese yelled out, getting their attention. "This man lead you to the mountain top and you question him? Look at you, look at all of you. I can't believe this pathetic pack of pussies competed in the All Valley, let alone won. It's an absolute miracle! And who's responsibility for that miracle? Johnny Lawrence. The best student in the history of Cobra Kai. My student."

"You were Sensis Sensei?" Hawks gapped.

"That checks out." Alexa mumbled.

"What was that?" Kreese gave an eyebrow raise, Alexa coward down slightly. "No, no. Go ahead. If you have something to say, you should say it."

Alexa cleared her throat. "It just makes sense that you were his sensei."

"Does it? Because I never trained a tougher student then him, let alone one who mouths off!" his voice rose at her, Alexas eyes shot down immediately. She blamed Demetri for her shitty day, not bothering to realize her mouth was her own problem. "So, if you know what's good for you, you better listen to every goddamn word he says."

Alexa exhaled, walking toward the latter. Johnny nodded. "Go ahead, Alexa."

She climbed in, feeling Miguel follow. "Can't believe that old guy yelled at me like that."

"You were being mouthy." he pointed out, their voices echoing.

"Aren't I suppose to be?" Alexa gave a weird look. "First Im too quiet, too soft, and now i'm too mouthy?"

"No, i'm just saying." Miguel shook his head. "This Kreese guy might be more important then we thing, we should try to respect him."

Alexa exhaled, looking over as Hawk and Assface and a few others crawled in. Johnny poked his head in. "Don't just stand there. You wanna get stuck? Move!"

The group pushed on the side, not going anywhere. Alexa slipped, going face first into the cement. "Lex, oh my god!"

"What the hell?" she stood up, pushing on the side again.

"Let's go guys!" Johnny yelled.

"Come on Assface, don't just stand there!" Hawk yelled, the truck moved slightly.

"Holy shit, it's goin!" Alexa yelled. "Aye, suck on that old bitch!"

"That's it. That's it!" Johnny yelled as Miguel was hollering for them to go faster, the truck spinning as they all started to yell in excitement and joy.

Alexa: are you still coming?

She planned to meet Demetri at the smoothie joint they always went to, but he hadn't shown up yet. She bite the inside of her mouth, tapping her foot. Her waitress walked over. "Can I get you another one of those?"

Alexa realized that she'd sucked down her orange freeze smoothie already. "Um, no. No, sorry."

"You waiting for someone?" she asked.

"Why's it any of your business?" Alexa shot back, looking up at her.

"Because if you're being stood up, I was just gonna throw another smoothie on my tab." she said back, Alexa's shoulders fell. "I'll take that as a yes."

"I freaked my boyfriend out, I think." she said honestly, biting the inside of her mouth. "So, if that means i'm being stood up, keep them coming."

"I will." she said back, taking the empty cup.

Alexa grabbed her phone when it buzzed.

demetri: sorry, lex. my moms needed my help, talk later?"

She dropped her phone, turning her head away from the rest of the shop. Her eyes watered, heart racing. She wasn't even upset about him not coming, she was heartbroken that she put herself out there and he didn't love her back. And now, she'd screw it all up. Thing was, Alexa knew it. She kept herself together, shaking her head as she stood up. The girl came back. "Here."

Alexa looked at the smoothie, grasping it. "Thanks."

Storming out, her lip trembled, walking down the road. She'd chunked the smoothie at the wall, orange liquid splattering everywhere as she walked away. Thankfully, the shop wasn't far from Cobra Kai. Alexa dropped her bag, when she opened the door, loosing her shoes. Speeding toward the back room, she laid her fist into one of the punching bags. Over and over and over and over again. She was out of breath, her heart raced, her knuckles sore.

"Shit." Alexa breathed out, leaning her head on the punching bag with a harsh exhale. She wished she'd kept that smoothie now.

"Alexa?" Johnny asked, walking into the room.

Alexa turned, gapping. She thought she was alone. "Sensei, sorry. I, um, I thought no one was here."

"You get into a fight?" he asked her.

"Not exactly." she said honestly, not wanting to go into detail about it. "It's stupid."

"So, why are you so pissed then?" he popped a beer can open. "Oh, shit. Is this about your little nerd bitch?"

She didn't say anything. Johnny nodded. "Come on. I have a lesson to teach you."

Alexa followed him toward the main dojo, watching as he chunked the empty can to the side after downing it. "You wanna know how to sneak up on someone?"

Alexa frowned her eyebrows. "What?"

"When someone goes for a kick, you dive in, shoulder straight to the nuts, and tackle their asses to the mat." Johnny smacked his hands together to demonstrate how it was done. "You think you can do that?"

"Yeah, definitely." Alexa said confidently. "But, what does-"

"You get pissed off at your boyfriend, you make bad grades, hate your mom, why?" Johnny shrugged, he was clearly slightly drunk, but when was he not?

"I feel out of control, usually." Alexa shrugged.

"Exactly." he nodded his head at her. "When you do this move, you're in full control. A leg over the shoulder, they move, you have the perfect opportunity to smack em in the balls, pull their hamstring."

Alexa nodded, taking a breath. "Can I tell you something?"

"Depends." he shrugged, exhaling loudly. "What's it about?"

Alexa blinked, she didn't know how to tell the first decent older man figure in her life that another older man had made her feel so uncomfortable that she felt like she needed to join a karate team to defend herself. She didn't know how to tell him that it was weighing on her, that she feared the sake of other girls, that she was so angry and felt so disgusted. "Never mind. Another time."
