Its been a few years since everything settled down with the Curtis house. Everyone was doing pretty great and were all happy together.

Ponyboy taught Johnny a lot more and he got a hang of everything eventually. The 19 year old got a job cooking at a local restaurant since he had enough experience.

He was still with Ponyboy and man, he was proud of Johnny for how far he's come considering his past and all. Ponyboy graduated from high school recently and he's in community college, enrolled into a writing program.

Ponyboy's doing really well in the class and the teacher says he's got real potential to become a writer. Johnny does too.

Steve and Soda are still together as well. They moved into a nice apartment not too far away from where Darry still lived.

Soda and Steve still work at the DX station and goof around all the time. After awhile, the girls stopped flirting with Soda once they saw a ring on his finger.

That's right, Steve proposed a few weeks ago on a fancy date. Of course, Soda said yes and he was crying happily.

Darry and Paul were also still together, just like all of the couples. Paul was still finishing up college which means he didn't see Darry a lot but he always made up for it with little gifts and the weekends together.

Paul actually loved his things in with Darry so when he wasn't sleeping on campus, he was at the Curtis house. Darry loved the idea because that mean Paul wouldn't have to go home, he was already there.

Dally and Two-Bit were engaged as well actually. Two got the courage one night while they were at his house and he just left the room, grabbed the ring and came back.

Gosh, Dally was a mess when he pulled out that ring. He felt bad that he couldn't afford one for Two-Bit quite yet but the older boy didn't mind not having a ring, loving him was enough.

Also, remember when Ponyboy's teacher said that he had potential for writing and that he was really good at it? Well welcome to the end of his first small novel, Secret.

He's been writing things down when no one was paying attention and it was one of the first books with LGBT characters. It was a hit and he couldn't be happier to start writing more.
