ELPHABA ADDAMS AND HER SISTER WEDNESDAY GRIMACED AT THEIR PARENTS as they sung along to the romantic music playing on the radio in dramatic voices. The girls sat with their hands folded in the black limousine; their gaze drifted to each other as the sound of a flock of birds crashed into the window by the driver's seat as they flew by. The singing ended with their parents Gomez and Morticia joining together in a passionate kiss, but quickly pulled away at the sight of Wednesday giving them her infamous death stare; and Elphaba glanced at her sister in fear before turning to her parents with a light shrug.
Morticia sighed as her and Gomez pulled away, "Darling, how long do you intend on giving us the cold shoulder?" There was no response from Wednesday as she lifted her head and craned her neck to talk to the family's undead butler, Lurch.
"Lurch, please remind my parents that I'm no longer speaking to them,"
The zombie butler only grunted and turned back to face the road. When Wednesday turned back, Gomez leaned forward and began to speak, "I promise you my little viper and my little magician, you both will love Nevermore," magician referred to Elphaba's strange abilities she had been born with when the Addams family first found her on their doorstep, "Won't they, Tish?"
"Of course they will, it's the perfect school for them,"
"Why? Because it was the perfect school for you," Wednesday quickly snapped at them, "I have no interest in following in your footsteps — Elphie, I'm not so sure of, but I'm not," her sister continued as their mother looked into the distance with pride once Wednesday began listing her accomplishments, "Becoming captain of the fencing team, Queen of the Dark Prom, President of the Seance Society."
Morticia sighed, "I merely meant that finally you both will be among peers who understand you," a smile formed on her ghost like features, "Maybe you'll even make some friends."
Over the years, the girls had never fit into the "regular" schools, so when Elphaba would actually try to make a friend the Addams family weirdness always showed and it always just ended up being her and her sister, so there was only one reason she was thrilled to be going, the rest she despised.
"Nevermore is like no other boarding school," Gomez turned to Mortica who smiled, "It's a magical place," he continued as Morticia turned to her husband, "It's where I met your mother. And we fell in love."
As they were just about to embrace in another passionate kiss, Wednesday cut in, "You guys are making me nauseous," the both turned to the girls, "and not in a good way."
Elphaba turned to her sister and grimaced, "there's... a good way?"
"Don't question it, Elphie."
"Darling, we aren't the ones who got you expelled," Morticia explained. "That boy's family was going to file attempted murder charges," she frowned, "how would that have looked on your record?"
Now, Elphaba wasn't going to Nevermore for Wednesday's attempted murder, but Morticia used this as an opportunity to. Although, there was an incident that was used to get them both here: a week before, Elphaba had a little incident with her abilities and let's just say the whole high school choir team went flying.
"Terrible. Everyone would know I failed to get the job done,"
Elphaba glanced at her sister in slight fear. She loved Wednesday to death, but sometimes Wednesday had her ways of being... terrifying, even to the girl who made a room explode with green glowing hands once.

THE WIND RASPED GENTLY ACROSS THE GATES OF NEVERMORE AS IT OPENED, the atmosphere was gloomy as the rain started to settle in, the rain drops plopping down onto the car window; it felt just like home. Lightning flashed from above as they passed by a strikingly creepy statue of a bat-like creature. Elphaba's eyes widened in fear as they drove past, further into Nevermore.
Morticia sighed with a light smile as she glanced out the window of her old school, "At least it's turning into a beautiful day," Elphaba raised an eyebrow, but she should know by now that rainy days like this are beautiful day standards on the Addams family.
Once they arrived to Nevermore, they parked the car outside and headed inside the school to find the principal's office. When they did, the office door had a golden plaque with the name Principal Weems; they knocked on the door and were let in, settling down in four chairs in front of a big desk which a tall, blonde woman in a white coat sat at, "Wednesday and Elphaba are certainly unique names," she turned to the girls, "I'm guessing it was the day of the week she was born?"
"I was born on Friday the 13th,"
"Wednesday's name comes from a line from my favorite nursery rhyme, Wednesday's Child Is Full of Woe," Morticia then turned to Elphaba with slight teary eyes and placed a hand on her chest before glancing back at Weems, "And when we adopted Elphaba she didn't come with a name, so I named her after the titular role in the book Wicked: The Life And Times Of The Wicked Witch Of The West."
Weems smiled with a head tilt, "you've always had a unique perspective on the world, Morticia," she then turned to the girls, "did your mother tell you two that we were roommates back in the day?"
"And you graduated with your sanity intact? Impressive,"
"You both have certainly had a very interesting educational journey," Weens glanced down at the files scattered on her desk, "eight schools in five years."
Elphaba shrugged, "I blew the people away at our last one," she glanced at Morticia and Gomez without turning her head, "literally."
"They haven't built one strong enough to hold us," Wednesday stated. "I bet this place won't be any different."
"What our daughters are trying to say is that they greatly appreciate the opportunity,"
"Nevermore doesn't usually accept students mid-term," Weems explained as she folded her arms on her desk, "But given Wednesday and Elphaba's perfect grades and your family's long history with the school, I've spoken with the board and we've made an expecting."
Wednesday and Elphaba shared a worried glanced and then their mother spoke, "Larissa... what about Wednesday's therapy sessions," Mortica brought up, "The court ordered them."
"Hmm. The school has a relationship with a therapist in Jericho," Weems reassured, "She can meet twice a week."
"Did you hear that, my little storm cloud and glow stick? You both are in excellent hands,"
"We'll see if she survives the first session,"
Morticia and Gomez both turned away at the last comment and back to Weems," I've assigned you both to your mother's old form," she said with a smile, glancing back to Mortica, "Ophelia Hall."
Morticia gasped and chuckled excitedly, turning to her husband with a bright smile before Wednesday craned her neck behind to her parents, "Refresh my memory," the husband and wife turned to their daughter as Elphaba turned to Wednesday as well, knowing by now that she'd say something among the lines of, "Ophelia's the one who kills herself after being driven mad by her family, correct?"
"Should we go meet your new roommate?"
"Yay..." Elphaba chuckled nervously as the four of them all got up and walk to Ophelia Hall. The sisters shared a look before heading out, Elphaba only shrugged, trailing behind the adults as a hesitant Wednesday took awhile before following with them.

ONCE THEY ENTERED THE DOORM, IT WAS MORE VIVD THAN ELPHABA HAD EXPECTED. The big circular window with a spiderweb shape had bright colors, lightning up the room causing a bright smile to forming on Elphie's face as she walked in with a little twirl and a dreamy sigh. While her sister was excited for the change of color, Wednesday wasn't so pleased and nearly froze in place at the sight of pink; and she wasn't the only one, Morticia and Gomez were surprised at the brightness of it all.
"It's so... vidid," Gomez awkwardly smiled with a shrug. Weems flashed a light smile as their future roommate jumped from out of her seat and scurried right over to them.
Elphaba smiled brightly, forming her hands into fists and sighed, "I know, right?" Gomez craned his neck to his daughter and raised an eyebrow, along with Morticia. Wednesday only gave her sister a look of concern, "Vividly... gross?"
Wednesday signaled to her sister and quipped, "She's adopted, can you tell?"
The blonde girl inhaled excited, "howdy, roomies."
"Wednesday, Elphaba. This is Enid Sinclair,"
A look of concern formed on Enid's features as she put a hand on her stomach, "Are you feeling okay? You look a little... pale," Elphaba turned to her sister who was utterly terrified by the brightness of their dorm.
"Wednesday always looks half-dead,"
"Oh," Enid smiled and turned to Elphaba, "Oh, you're Elphaba, right? Can I call Elphie? It is so cool that your named after someone from a musical," Enid ranted with a bright smile causing Elphaba to smile as well. She then turned to both of them, opening her arms, "Welcome to Ophelia Hall!"
Wednesday quickly stepped back, "Not a hugger, got it," she turned to Elphaba, "You?" Elphaba shrugged and Enid hugged her tightly, causing her to lose circulation.
Elphaba grunted as she tried pushing away, "Okay! I get it — you're a hugger!"
As they pulled away, Enid winced," Sorry..."
Morticia glanced at Wednesday, "Please excuse Wednesday," she spoke up, "she's allergic to color," Mortica said as she glanced at the bright window and all the colorful objects surrounding Enid's side of the room. This caused Enid's eyes widened in fear, unsure of what happens.
"What happens to you?"
"I break out into hives and then the flesh peels off my bones,"
Enid grimaced and Weems cut in, "Luckily, we've special ordered you a uniform," she chuckled, "Enid' please take Wednesday and Elphaba to the register's office to pick it up along with their schedule," then turned back to the girls, "and give them a tour along the way."
Before leaving, Wednesday glanced at her parents with the infamous death stare once again and walked out. While Elphaba flashed a light smile and shrugged walking out, watching Enid skip her way downstairs.
