Sharmili was sitting on the bed in the hotel room while Shubman had gone for a bath. Shahneel had to leave due to some preoccupation but she would rejoin them before the next match.

It was a huge loss of 63 runs and Shubman was utterly dismayed. Sharmili was thinking of ways to revive Shubman's mood when she heard the click of the bathroom door. Shubman came out of the bathroom, with a towel wrapping his torso.

Sharmili felt a sudden hotness on her face, her ears getting reddened. This was a hell lot to take in. Sharmili knew that she was literally staring at Shubman's uncovered body for the past few minutes but she was unable to tear her gaze away; time seemed to have paused.

Shubman noticed Sharmili's eyes and couldn't help but smirk.

Shubman: *smirking* "tadna khatam ho jaye to bolna, uske baad kapde pehnunga"

This had instant effect on Sharmili. She looked away and felt -dharti phat Jaye aur wo andar ghus jaye.Sharmili got up and left the room. Shubman wanted to follow her but noticed that he was half naked and had to get dressed before leaving the room.

Sharmili went to the balcony, heavily breathing because- use dekhkar saans ruk gayi thi yaar! Sharmili was inwardly chuckling at his comment and cursing herself.

Sharmili: *to herself* "Kya yaar main bhi! My heartbeat is chuing aasman."

Shubman: *from behind* "Aisa kya?"

Sharmili turned to see Shubman standing beside her, in grey sweatpants and a black t-shirt.

Sharmili: *trying to supress the blushing*"Shubman stop flirting"

Sai Sudarshan was passing by and heard their conversation and before Shubman could reply...

Sai: "Why should he?"

Sharmili and Shubman were both surprised to see Sai but nevertheless they both chuckled at his comment.

Sai who was near about the same age as Sharmili had developed a friendship with her over the past few days.

He realised that they were on peak romance and this isn't a good time to tease them. Sai wished them goodnight and went to his room.

Sharmili: "Shubman bahar hawa de rahi hai, you will catch a cold, room mein chalte Hain"

They both went into the room and Shubman bolted the door. Sharmili was tired and wanted some sleep. Shubman on the other hand was very tired as well but wanted a conversation with Sharmili. Yes they had talked over phone had conversations with her in these few days but he actually wanted a long deep conversation with her. He wanted to know her depths.

Sharmili noticed Shubman lost in thoughts and she misinterpreted her silence.

Sharmili: "Shubman, are you uncomfortable about sleeping with me on the same bed?"

Shubman's trance broke but before he could process whatever Sharmili had said and reply, Sharmili had concluded it to be a yes and was moving towards the couch.

Shubman took no time in holding Sharmili's wrist and pulling her towards him. Their chest collided and eyes met. They maintained a intense eye contact until Sharmili looked down.

Shubman: "Saari zindagi tumhare saath ek bed mein bitane ki soch Raha hu, and today I'll have problem with that?"

Sharmili blushed hard, looking at the floor.

Shubman held her chin and lifted her face towards him. She looked up at him with a shy glance.

Shubman caressed her hair, removing the ones falling on her face and tucked it behind her ears.

Shubman cupped her face and looked at her with eyes full of love.

Shubman: *whispering* "Sharmili I love you. I love you so fucking much!"

Sharmili was smiling at him, out of words.

Suddenly Sharmili hugged Shubman as tightly as she could. He was paused for a moment or two but then he hugged her back.

Sharmili looked up at Shubman, their lips centimetres apart. Shubman came closer, making Sharmili close her eyes.

They were so close that Shubman could hear Sharmili's heartbeat beating really fast.

Shubman caressed Sharmili's lips with his fingers.

They were just about to kiss when there was a knock at the door. They jumped apart at the suddenness of the knock.

Ruturaj: "Shubman! Shubman!"

Shubman was disgusted but went forward to open the door.

Without permission, Ruturaj barged in their room, striding straight to Sharmili.

Ruturaj: "Sharmili you are a doctor right?"

Sharmili was surprised but nodded, She didn't have her degree yet but she had completed the studies. She would recieve her degree after one year of internship.

Ruturaj: *panicking* "Utkarsha ko kuch ho raha hai, she has been Ill for the past few days. She is very nauseus aur weak feel kar rahi hai. I offered to call the team doctor but she insists on some female. Please Sharmili..."

Sharmili understood the urgency of the situation and cut through Ruturaj.

Sharmili: "No need to request, chalo"

Ruturaj passed a grateful look to her and lead her towards their room, Shubman followed them.

Three of them entered the room to see Jaya sitting with Utkarsha.

Utkarsha looked at Sharmili with a faint smile.

Sharmili: "Shubman tum dono abhi bahar jao.. I'll come in a moment"

Sharmili examined Utkarsha for a while and then smiled. Utkarsha gave a questioning look to her.

Sharmili: *smiling* "Utkarsha di, as far as I think.... You are pregnant!!"

Utkarsha took a moment to digest the news, after a few moments she broke into a smile.

Jaya hugged her tightly and Sharmili went outside to Ruturaj and Shubman.

Sharmili: "Andar aajao"

They came inside.

Sharmili: *to Utkarsha* "Main batau ya tum bataogi?"

Ruturaj: *tensed* "Kya huya hai use?"

Utkarsha signalled Sharmili to break the news.

Sharmili: *excited* "Ruturaj bhaiya, her signs and symptoms suggests that.. You are gonna be a father!"

Ruturaj's jaw dropped at this news. He looked at Sharmili and then at Utkarsha. After a few moments he went on hugging Utkarsha tightly.

Sharmili: "Utkarsha di you should get a pregnancy test done." *signalling to Shubman and Jaya* "we should leave now, parso Tak shayad hum yahan hain toh us beech koi bhi problem ho toh mujhe inform karna haan?"

Ruturaj and Utkarsha gave grateful looks to Sharmili and three of them left their room.

Sharmili and Shubman had went to their bed but both of them were unable to sleep. After a long silence Sharmili spoke up.

Sharmili: "Shubman you like kids?"

Shubman: "Yes I love them"

Sharmili: "Umm, me too"

Shubman: "Don't freak out, just asking"

Sharmili: "Hmm pucho"

Shubman: "Tumhe kya lagta hai, Shadi ke kitne saal baad bacche hone chahiye?"

Sharmili: "Teen saal?"

Shubman: "Hmm, aur uske pehle pregnant ho Gaye to?.. Abor.."

Sharmili: "Shubman don't even speak about it, it's the worst thing ever"

Shubman: "So you will keep the baby?"

Sharmili: "Anything is better than abortion"

They fell silent again.

It was Sharmili who broke the silence again.

Sharmili: "Shubman.. ek relationship kitne saal ki hone ke baad shaadi karni chahiye?"

Shubman: "Sharmili I had a previous relationship Jo 6 mahine ki thi; I never thought about marriage back then...... But hum log ek derh mahine hi jante Hain ek durse ko, trust me agar mujhe koi abhi bole tumse shadi Karlene, main karlunga"

Sharmili blushed again.

Sharmili: "Same here Shubman, mujhe kya lagta hai pata hai? Agar saccha wala pyaar ho na toh it gets stronger with time... Love cannot fade yaar"

Shubman: "Hmm"

Sharmili turned towards Shubman and her hand fell over Shubman's chest.
She was about to remove it when Shubman held her hand..

Shubman: "Rehne do, I have no problem"

Shubman pulled Sharmili closer and both of them fell asleep in each other's arms....
