"Woah, look at you." Demetri smiled as he walked over toward Kit and Moon, who walked into prom with their arms linked. "At both of you."
"Disco ball material?" Kit gave a minor sarcastic grin, her shiny dress a running joke now.
"She's self hating tonight." Moon hummed with a knowing look. "You should have heard her in the car."
"Well, she's not the only one." Demetri spoke, moving backwards to point at Eli over his shoulder. "That one's just as bad."
"Seems like we have a reoccurring pattern here." Moon hummed, wrapping an arm around Kits waist. "I'm gonna go make her happy, you do the same for yours."
"Love how you two talk about us like we're not people." Kit hummed as Moon drug her off toward the dance floor. "I'm sorry i'm a shitty date."
"You're so not." Moon argued, giving her a little spin. "What's really bothering you?"
Kit shrugged, Moon forcing her arms to sway to the upbeat song. She gave a knowing look. "Thinking about Tory?"
Kit looked in disbelief. "What? No. Absolutely not."
"It would be okay if you were." she said back knowingly.
"You're my date, i'm not thinking about other girls." Kit grabbed her hand and gave her a little spin. "It's just been a long day."
"Well, I think I might know a little throw back memory to get you out of this slump." she gave a teasing point of her finger. "Do not go anywhere. I'll be right back."
Kit was alone on the dance floor, under the multicolored lights. They were all dancing around her, yet she was alone. So alone, yet surrounded by so many people. What was it that was bumming her out so bad? Kit didn't truly know what was the matter. She'd started to feel shitty from the moment she put on her prom dress, even though she really liked how she looked in it. So, what was it? What was so wrong when everything was so perfect?"
"Oooh yeah." Moon sang with the song as she went back to Kit, holding an invisible microphone. "I've been looking under rocks and breaking locks, just tryna find ya."
Kit grinned, slapping two hands over her face at the freshman year memory hit her in the face. Moon pulled her hands away from her face. "I've been like a maniac, insomniac-"
She held the invisible mic to Kit. The Clairmont girl grinned. "Five steps behind ya."
Moon cheered, taking her hands as they danced a little, singing their song. "Tell the other girls they can hit the exit, check please. Cause I finally found the girl of my dreams. Much more then a grammy award, that's how much you mean to me."
Kit laughed, hugging Moon as she hugged her back, letting the rest of the song sing itself. Her face fell again, her arms tightened around Moon when she realized that she needed this. A hug. Just a hug all to herself, not a hug to comfort other people. Moon hugged her back, inhaling. "You can talk to me about anything."
"I know." Kit promised as she hugged her back. "You can talk to me too."
Moon hesitated. "Anything?"
"Yeah, anything." Kit said back, stilling hugging her in the crowd of people.
"But, it would make me a horrible date if I said it right now." Moon said back, thinking about something she hadn't told anyone.
"Then tell me when the dance is over." Kit said back, humming as she laid her head on Moons shoulder. "Maybe i'll figure out what I need to say by then."
Moon had to smile at the familiarity they finally broke through. "Sounds like a plan."
Kits eyes looked toward the entrance, seeing Tory walk in with Robby Keene on her arm. Her eyebrows frowned together, staring, but not moving. Tory was looking around the dance floor, locking eyes with Kit immediately as they stared. She eyed the way she was holding onto Moon, while Kit stared at Robby clinging to her arm. Kit pulled away from Moon to meet her eye. "Do you ever miss being mean to people?"
Moon almost laughed. "What? Of course, not. Why would you ask me that?"
"I had this idea." Kit sighed with a shrug. "Kinda a mean prank, though."
"Well, you never said anything about pranks." Moon pulled a knowing smirk. "Is it horrible?"
"PG rated." Kit grinned back with a questionable look. "Are you in?"
"So in." Moon took her elbow as they hurried off through the crowd.
Tory watched them go in pure jealousy, basically fuming as she angrily poured a cup of punch.
"Please, do not fall." Moon sighed as she looked up at Kit, who she was spotting as the girl pushed one of the ceiling squares up to climb. "Do you have it."
"Got it secure, just make sure the teachers don't see." Kit whispered back, pulling herself up as she looked around. "Dusty up here."
"You sure you're not gonna loose your way and get lost up there?" Moon looked up as her, standing in the hallway.
"If I do, will you make up a huge lie that I ran away and changed my name?" Kit looked down at her with a grin. "Fell in love with my sugar mama."
"It's not funny." Moon said back, only getting the ceiling shut in return. "You're welcome."
She headed back to the dance, making sure non of the teachers were around. Robby and Tory were slow dancing, Moon looking upwards to make sure Kit was not about to fall straight through the ceiling.
The Clairmont girl peaked through each square, finally coming across her targets. She looked down at the dancing pair, her heart jumped in annoyance and anger at the sight. She knew that, deep down, she should be more mad at Tory then anything. But jealousy worked in extremely powerful ways, causing all of Kits build up anger to projector onto Robby.
He was mid smile at Tory when the egg yoke dropped on his head.
"You know, I'd really hate to ruin yalls night." Kit was on a role and had to interfere with Robby. He was getting a beer, and she'd been standing next to it. "After that chicken laid an egg on your head."
"Your doing, i'm assuming." Robby mocked in the slightest.
"So, what if it was?" Kit rose her eyebrow, tilting her head. "You gonna tie me down? Chop off my hair?"
"What? Hitting me in the head with a glass bottle wasn't enough?" Robby asked her, raising his eyebrows her way. Despite how clear the tension was with the two, they had to give the other credit for relentlessly matching each other's energy.
"Oh, I figured you'd have liked that." Kit said back, Robby looked too confused to go on. "Since you seem to like everything else I do. First you fill my spot at Cobra Kai, then you get with my ex-girlfriend, do you want the last half of my beer? I can spit in it for you, first."
Robby scoffed in disbelief, shaking his head. "You can give it a rest, seriously."
"Sorry." Kit hummed with a tight lipped smile, standing straight up in her heels. "I don't bother to listen to people shorter then me."
Robby rolled his eyes, letting it drop. Kit turned to fill up her solo cup again. Robby then said what he'd planned. "Why do you care so much that Tory and I went to the dance together? Last time I checked, you tried to burn down Cobra Kai with her in it."
Kits jaw tightened, her right foot going backwards and kicking him right in the gut. Robby stumbled backward, Kit spun around quickly as she grasped his arm. "I wasn't gonna leave her in there!"
Robby winced as Kit shoved him, he threw a fist her way, having it blocked as Kit ducked down. Robby got a good kick to the leg to make her stumble back. By now, the crowd backed up and was giving them space. "You really think you care about Tory? You left her when she needed you."
Kit charged at him in anger, her arms around his waist and knocking him down. "I care about her more then you ever will!"
"Kit!" Tory called, running over just as Sam was trying to come to Kits rescues, the two colliding in the process.
"Get off me!" Robby shoved Kit, making her roll off of him before getting to her feet.
"Stay the hell away from her!" Kit was spinning with Robby again, the two crashing into the keg as it knocked over. Kit twisted around to kick Robby in the face with her feet, his hand latching onto her ankle and bringing her in closer.
"Kit!" Tory yelled for her. Surprisingly, for the first time, her and Sam hadn't been the ones to be fighting.
"You chose your side." Robby argued, hitting Kit in the arm as she latched onto his head and the pair were fighting again.
"Wanna kick me off the balcony?" Kit yanked on his neck some as he hit her across the face, making her stumble back. "Carful, I might start to think you earned my place."
She charged for him again, this time being tackled to the side by Tory as Sam went after Robby. Kit huffed as her and Tory fell into the beer pong table, solo cups falling on them. Tory was practically ontop of her, looking in disbelief. "What are you doing?"
"What are you doing?" Kit shot back with a crazy look. "You're with that guy now?"
"What do you care? You're with Moon." Tory argued with her in disbelief.
"I'm not with Moon." Kit pushed her off as she got to her feet, Tory followed. "Not all of us move on so easily, you know?"
"I didn't move on!" Tory shoved her now. "You made it pretty clear you didn't wanna be around me."
"What? When you used me on my freaking birthday then attacked my friend the next day?" Kit ran at her, the two spinning again as they held onto each other. Tory kneed her in the stomach as Kit pushed against her face. "I wanted us to work out!"
"You left me!" Tory yelled, kicked her foot up and nearly hitting Kit in the face.
"You hit me across the face with nunchucks!" Kit turned and kicked Tory in the side. "You broke my freaking heart!"
"You broke mine first!" Tory yelled at her, running forward and tackling her. The pair bumped into a fighting Sam and Robby, the sudden crash having all four of them yell out, loosing their balance with a sudden fall into the pool.

this mighg be my favorite
chapter so far lmao. i love
simi mean kit. it's her still
being on the good side and
still being a better person
but also not forgetting that
she doesn't have to force a
happy, sweet personality
to show she's changed either.
but damn, miss girl gets
real jealous when we all
know tory only went to
prom with robby bc she heard
her say she was going with
moon.
