Kits apartment was impossible to sneak around in. It was crazy small and had the worst floor boards. They squeaked no matter how heavy you were. Kit once brought a kitten home that she found in the rain, even it made the floors make a loud noise. That how Tory woke up that morning, Kits loud ass feet running down the creaky hallway.

Tory groaned when she felt the weight ontop of her, Kits hot breath on her neck, "Kit, away."

"Tor." Kit mumbled into her shoulder, "Guess what day it is?"

"I don't care." Tory whined as she tried to knock Kit off, "I had a long shift."

"It's christmas eve-eve." Kit grinned as she shook Tory slightly, "Doesn't that make you happy? Our first real holiday together."

Tory rolled over as she stared up at Kit now, knowing she wasn't going back to sleep. She had to smile up at her, Kit adjusting to sit on her better, "We did thanksgiving and halloween together."

"Yeah but you worked halloween and we just ate pumpkin pie and made out in the alley on Thanksgiving." Kit huffed as Tory laughed up at her, "Christmas is christmas, okay? Missile toe, and christmas movies, it's my favorite time of year."

"I know, you've have the tree up since November first." Tory mocked as Kit whined and shook her slightly, "Ive already agreed to wearing matching christmas sweaters, what else do you want from me?"

"Ice skating?" Kit suggested as Tory gave her a look of disbelief, "Ginger bread houses?"

"I can work with that one." Tory nodded as she rolled Kit over, grinning down at her with a kiss to her nose, "Cmon, it's cold and I wanna put you under my arm."

"Well, mom is working later so you can come to mine. Or! You can meet me at the ice cream shop." Kit suggested, Tory helping her roll the projector toward the dojo. Hawk helped, though Kit insisted he left her alone, he guided them, "Or we could ice skate."

"Kit, babe, you're so cute, but we are not ice skating no matter what you say." Tory commented with a knowing look, peaking at her from behind the projector, "Let's do it at your apartment, I got you something anyways and it's not for public."

"Oooh, have I been on the naughty list?" Kit teased as a few of their friends wolf howled at the pair.

"Hilarious." Tory spoke as Kyler pulled the door open for them.

"Got lost, Skyler." Kit spoke, using the wrong name intentionally. They'd been friends before, for a few years, she was well aware what his name was.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Hawks voice suddenly startled Kit, making her turn quickly and finding Robby Keene by Kreese side. She looked to Tory who stared, grabbing hold of her hand as the projector stoped moving in the doorway.

"What? Ready to throw someone off the roof this time maybe?" Kit asked as she stormed forward, Tory pulled her back with a knowing look across her eyes.

"Hold on there." Kreese said as he waved Kit off, stopping Hawk who had gotten right in Robbys face, "Mr Keene is our guest."

"Shitty guest." Kit mumbled under her breath. Tory pinched her arm, pulling her forward as she nodded to Robby.

"Miss Clairmont, what is all this?" Kreese spoke up as he nodded toward the projector with a odd look, "And why is it in the dojo?"

"Christmas movies." Kit said, her thoughts on Robby suddenly flying out the door as she smiled. Each team members all looked back at her with the same expression. Kits face was lit up like the christmas lights outside, "I brought How The Grinch Stole Christmas."

"Hey, Kit." Hawk jogged to her side as they walked out of the dojo, "I got you something."

Kit eyed him slightly. They didn't speak for a while, not after what happened, "You shouldn't have gotten me anything."

"Yeah, I know. But I did anyways." he nodded, reaching into his pocket and pulled out a small pin, "It was like, fifty cents so.."

Kit looked down at the Ravenclaw pin, the blue matched his eyes. Kit took it from his pale hand, "Thanks, Eli."

He cringed slightly when she said it. Only getting a tight lipped smile before walking away. Kit didn't mean to seem insensitive or ungrateful, she thought it was sweet he got her something. But Kit couldn't help but get scared now, every time she was around him. She thought about the way he broke Demetris arm right in half, the same guy that use to be his best friend.

She couldn't imagine what he'd do to her if he had the chance.

"You aren't coming to steal the snake with us?" he asked, noticing she wasn't following after the group all headed toward Kylers car, "There's room."

"I have to work." Kit said, rocking on her heels slightly, "You guys have fun though."

Kit turned on her heals and headed off before he called her name out. Kit looked over her shoulder as he gave a pleading look, "I'm sorry."

Kit stared at him a moment before turning away and heading toward the ice cream shop that hadn't been too far from the dojo.

"Welcome to La Mich-" Kit began as she turned around, stopping when she saw who had walked in, "Demetri."

He paused with wide eyes, going to leave before she spoke up again, "You don't have to go, i'm unarmed."

Demetri paused at the doorways, tapping his foot slightly, "You sure no ones gonna jump out from under that counter?"

Kit began laughing before realizing he was serious, "Nope, just my empty cup of mint chocolate chip."

"Mint chocolate chip? Are you an abomination?" Demetri asked her in disbelief, heading toward the counter quickly with a crazy look, "Ice cream is sweet, mint is not sweet."

"Yeah but sweet makes you feel like you're gonna explode and get zits all over you." Kit explained in disbelief, adjusting the hat she was forced to wear, "What are you even doing here? It's december, cold outside."

"Sweet tooth, i'll have you know." he commented, eyes racking the many flavors, "You have the same thing."

"You've got me by the balls there." she nodded, looking at his healed arm, "I um- how do-"

Demetri looked at her oddly when she struggled over her words. He looked toward his arm, realizing she'd eyed it, "Completely healed."

"That's good." Kit nodded. Demetri gave her a a look of disbelief, Kit silently decide it was best if she didn't bring it up again, "What size cone do you want?"

"Is that even a question? The biggest one you've got." Demetri nodded, not looking up from the many flavors. Kit grabbed the largest cone they had, "I want-"

"Dream sickle." Kit cut him off quickly. Demetri looked up at her finally with wide eyes, "I remember."

He blinked her way, nodding his head as Kit gave a small smile. She remembers what it was like to hang out with Demetri and Eli, how she felt so normal and herself around them. She had a sense of familiarity right now, something she didn't realized she hadn't had in a while, "And topping?"

"All of them." Demetri said quickly.

Kit looked up quickly, "All of them?"

"All of them." Demetri confirmed for her as Kit nodded, beginning to pile on all the toppings they carried. Demetri didn't want to talk to Kit, he truly hadn't after what he's seen of her recently, along with the years and years she'd been so shitty to him after he'd only ever shown her friendship. But then his eyes set on the Ravenclaw pin on her shirt, "You're still in Ravenclaw?"

"Duh." Kit said back, looking up from the sprinkles a moment, "Are you?"

"Duh." he mocked her, earning a grin. Demetri had to smile at the sight of her, "Why'd you do it?"

"Do what?" Kit asked, pausing her movement, thinking she'd put on the wrong topping.

"Turn into such a mega asshole." the lanky boy spoke to her. Kit remember when they were both taller the Eli, he use to be embarrassed for it but they both told him it was cute.

Kit hesitation, opening her mouth to say something before deciding against it, "There's really no good excuse and i'm tired of trying to justify it honestly."

"So you just turned into a jerk for no reason?" he asked her in disbelief, "And then you joined Cobra Kai?"

"I was obsessed with not being picked on. Yasmine made sure no one teased me, it made me feel safe. So yeah, I was a asshole to you and to Eli for no reason, and i'm sorry." Kit said as she stabbed the ice cream with a spoon, "But Cobra Kai is my home, no matter what it's done."

"Like break my arm?" he asked her, becoming just as defensive, "Some home."

"Yeah, some home." Kit spoke back, "But it was the first place that saw me for something, made me see myself differently. Without Yas anymore, Cobra Kai is the only reason I feel safe out there in the world."

Demetri stared at her, keeping quiet. Kit went on without realizing it, "Look, i'm sorry that Eli did that to you, and I should have stopped it. I think about what happened every day, and I regret not stepping in and stopping it from happening. But that doesn't mean we're all like that."

"So you're not?" Demetri spoke, he found it hard to see Kit any different then Hawk.

"Maybe I am, maybe i'm not. I don't even know anymore, honestly." Kit spoke as he stared at her, Demetri sighed as she passed the cone to him, "Either way, Cobra Kai saved my life. You don't know everything that happened, you don't know what I went through. It's all I have, Demetri. I'd be nothing without it and I mean that."

Demetri stared at her as he inhaled, "Did something happen to you?"

"I don't wanna talk about it." Kit spoke fast, taking the five dollars and handing him a one and a few pennies back.

"Kit-" Demetri began before the doors swung open.

"Hey." Tory called out as she stood in the doorway, "Why don't you back off before that healed arm isn't so healed anymore."

"Tory." Kit spoke up warning, giving Demetri a pleading look. He gave her a tight lipped smile, turning on his heels and heading out of the ice cream parlor.

"By the way, they hadn't even died yet." Demetri spoke up as he looked back at Kit knowingly, "Even tried to drown them and set them in the sun for days."

Tory gave a hard look, shoving his shoulder as she waiting until he left to walked over toward Kit, "Whats he talking about?"

"Dunno." Kit shrugged, accepting the kiss Tory gave her on the cheek. But Kit knew exactly what Demetri had been talking about, she just had no clue how he knew.

The expensive flowers she sent to his house that took forever to die.
