If someone asked Valentina Sterling, they weren't anything. They were simply two people who occasionally fucked and hung off each other like arm candy because they liked the attention. They got the jealous looks that Valentina had lived off of, the looks that showed everyone wanted to be her because she was with the man they wanted.

Valentina had wanted nothing to do with him anymore. The girl that was borderline obsessive, couldn't handle the boy that everyone was starting to see was a little...psychotic. Funny. She'd be lying if she said she didn't like it though, it made her feel alive. The way he'd fight anyone who even looked at her wrong — and god forbid someone talks about her — but that's usually how they ended up back in each other's bed.

Title's got messy for Valentina, that was a one and done. She could only handle so many psychotic exes before she lost her mind. That's why she never claimed her and Rafe Cameron were anything, all she could say was that they slept together. That's it. No feelings involved, that was their one rule.

Rules were made for breaking in his opinion. Especially when he had the Kook Queen hanging off his arm and in his bed everyday when he woke up. He had her...and he wasn't letting her go.
