CHAPTER EIGHT
"Damon showed up last night," Klaus informs Sol as Kol and Rebekah try on modern-day clothing.
"What did he want?" Sol questions as she takes a sip of champagne.
"I assume he wanted Stefan back... I don't really know if I'm being honest, I was too busy trying to stab his heart out with one of those little drink umbrellas."
Sol smiles, "Good. He deserves it."
"Oh, he definitely did... You and I need to go shopping later."
"Aren't we already shopping?"
"Oh this shopping is a lot more fun, it's my favourite kind actually."
Sol rolls her eyes, "Please don't say what I think you're about to say."
"Oh, I'm going to say it."
"I hate you."
"You love me and that is why you are going coffin shopping with me."
"You know, even after killing both my sister and aunt and practically ruining my life, I think that this is the worst thing I will ever have to endure with you."
Klaus smirks, "Well this is our best friend bonding time, love. Besides I have to do it, both Kol and Rebekah smashed theirs to bits."
"I wonder why..."
— — —
"Sol, darling, can you help me take these pants off? I seem to be having some troubles," Kol questions as he peeks his head out of the curtain, a devilish smirk on his face.
Sol rolls her eyes, turning to Klaus the hybrid immediately getting where she was going, "Stefan? Why don't you go help my brother with his problem."
Kol's eyes widen as he shakes his head at lightning speed, "Actually I think I'm good- Yeah I just figured it out. I was using the zipper wrong."
"Oh no, I think you still need some help. Why don't you let me in, Kol? I can help you with your little problem," Stefan teases, earning smirks from Sol and Klaus.
A few seconds later, Rebekah glances out, her head peeking out through the curtain, "Sol? Can you come zip me up? This dress is being difficult."
Sol immediately stands, almost running to the dressing room causing Klaus to chuckle especially when she almost tripped.
"Of course? Want me to help you out of it too?"
"Oh, you know it, beautiful... Though maybe we should wait till we're at the hotel- that way I can have you all night long."
Both Rebekah and Sol smirk as they hear Kol groan in the other room, "The walls are thin, you know?"
"Oh we know, little brother. You know what else I know?"
"What?"
"If either one of us is sleeping with Sol, it's gonna be me."
"I hate you- Stefan, stop trying to take off my pants!"
— — —
"You know, he's not as small as I thought he'd be," Stefan joked as he and Sol walked side by side down the busy streets of Chicago heading back to Gloria's bar.
"You actually saw it?" Sol questions, her eyes wide.
"Oh yeah and let me tell you if I didn't have a thing for Klaus, I would go for him."
Sol chuckles, "You know he likes you back. He's just too scared to say it."
"I know- It's just- I mean Elena just died... I can't move on yet," Stefan mutters though his eyes told another story, luckily for him Sol wasn't looking at him.
"It'll take some time but whenever you're ready, I'm sure he'll be there."
"Where have you two been?" Klaus asks as soon as they enter the bar, an angry look on his face.
"Oh put a sock on it, Klaus. We were just getting pizza and talking about how microdicks must run in your family... Other than Elijah, of course- god that is one good-looking man... in and out of clothes."
"You slept with Elijah!?" Rebekah and Kol scream, both with horrified looks.
"And I'd do it a hundred times more, 'cause damn that man is fine."
Stefan chuckles as he glances down at Sol, "Did you really?"
"Oh yeah, first meeting actually. Just couldn't keep my hands off of him," Sol teases, dragging it out making the Mikaelson siblings groan.
"Why Elijah? Why does he get the hot ones?"
Sol smirks, "Oh Rebekah you can have me any day, any time. Trust me, you say the word and any and all attraction I have to Elijah will be out the door."
Rebekah grins, "Oh I might just have to, love."
"This is torture," Kol mumbles making Klaus smile, "Oh little brother, you will never get her. If anything I would give up before she hurts you."
"Oh, I take that as a challenge."
— — —
"What's she doing?" Sol asks after seeing Gloria reading a spell book.
"Failing."
The witch scoffs, "It's hard to find something without anything to go on."
"Why don't you use Kol and Rebekah? From what I know, Kol helped create the necklace and Rebekah wore it for a thousand years." (A/N just go with it, i know this didn't happen but it did now)
"See, now this one offers a solution. Alright, give me your hands, sweethearts."
Stefan glances over at Klaus who stood next to Sol, "She's uh- she's looking for the necklace, huh?"
"I can sense something," Gloria mutters before she begins to speak in Latin. She glances over at Stefan before looking at the hybrid, "I found it."
"So where is it?" Both Rebekah and Kol question, hastily taking their hands away from the woman.
"It doesn't work like that, sweethearts. I get images, there's a girl with her friends-"
"Yes, a dead girl with dead friends, if I don't get my necklace back."
The witch sighs, "Well I have to dive back in and get the details."
"So dive," Both Klaus and Sol ordered, Klaus, walking over to the witch while Sol stayed in place.
"I need more time. And space," She finishes when Klaus chooses to stand right next to her, hovering over her. "You're harshing my juju."
"We can wait."
"I'm sure you can. But what I asked."
Stefan sighs, glancing over at Sol before walking next to Klaus, "Hey, you know why don't we just uh come back later? I'm hungry anyway... I'll let you pick who we eat."
Klaus slowly nods, beckoning Sol over to him only for Kol to grab her hand, leading her out of the bar.
Sol groans at the contact but lets it slide, knowing there was no use in attempting to get away, "I hate you."
"What was that, darling? You love me? Oh, you're such a sweetheart," Kol smirks as he pulls her closer, wrapping his arm around her waist.
— — —
"I'll be back in two hours, Klaus," Sol mutters as she walks past the hybrid and his siblings who sat covered in blood, dead bodies at the heels.
"The fun is just beginning though, love."
"Yes, it was so much fun watching you massacre a whole college frat for lunch," She answered sarcastically as she went to walk outside, only to be stopped by Klaus who sped in front of her, "Where are you going?"
"Parker. He was born here so I'm going to visit his family," Sol whispers, not overly wanting the other Mikaelsons in the room to know.
Klaus sighs before moving out of her way, "Be back soon, love."
As soon as the girl was out of the building Rebekah groaned, "Why does she get to leave and we don't?"
"Because I trust her to come back, sister. The last time I let you leave you didn't come back for three days and the only explanation I got was 'girls take their time'..." He pauses, his eyes widening in realization, "Oh my god- that's what you were doing?"
Rebekah smirks, "What can I say, Nik? I was a little busy being under someone or should I say someones."
Kol frowns in disgust, "Can we not talk about Rebekah's sexual escapades? And who is Parker? Why does Sol want to see his family?"
"That would be her secret to tell, Kol."
— — —
By the time Sol got back to the warehouse, it was dark, filled with silence. She sighs as she walks inside the creepy building, walking past the coffins only to trip on something.
At lightning speed, someone caught her, "Well would you look at that, darling, seems as though you fell for me," Kol says with a smirk as Klaus turns the lights back on.
Sol only rolls her eyes as she hurriedly gets out of the vampire's arms, glancing down at the floor only to see Stefan's dead body, "Well that's a sight..."
"He went against me. He got what he deserved... Now you, love... Did you go against me?"
Sol stares at Klaus with a confused look, "I mean there was the one time I stole your french fries but I don't think you need to murder me for it... I can pay you back if you really want," Sol rushed out, unable to take her eyes off Stefan's slightly deformed body.
"Oh bloody hell, you were the one who stole them? I thought it was Stefan."
Sol smirks, "I can be a very good liar when it comes to food."
A small grin tugs at Kol's lips though he quickly hides it with a smirk before Sol could notice.
"So how did he betray you?"
"He thought that it wasn't important enough for me to know why my hybrids aren't working..."
"Again with being cryptic, Klaus. Just spit it out already."
"You're sisters alive, Sol. She never died in the ritual."
