To recap the summer's events. Sarah Cameron was missing. John B. Routledge pinned for a murder he did not commit, if he's even still alive. And Nova Scott has had the worst summer of her life. Luck had not been on her side. Neither has love, soon she'll find. 

The warm months were supposed to be easy. Nova was supposed to be happy. And she was, with John B, it suddenly felt like she had it all. But, all at once summer collapsed into fall.
