-3rd person's P.O.V-

Katherine walked around the store looking at the many dresses her eyes being burned with everything. She didn't like any, none surprised her.

She was starting to regret coming into this store, her dress was definitely not here.

"I don't find anything I like" Katherine says as she leans on the wall seeing Natalie walk out of the dressing room with a happy smile.

Natalie frowns. "What why? I'm sure there's something" she says happy with the one she had in hand.

Katherine shook her head no as she sighs feeling upset about it. She took a look at one of the racks then put the clothing back down. "If I don't find one, I will not go" she wanted to but without a proper dress that would wow she will not be attending.

Natalie gave the girl a pout. "Come on there has to be something interesting at least. What about this one?" she pulls out a dress that would hug her figure and colored red like blood.

"I like the color, not the dress" she'd sure have fun tonight if there wasn't anything that would attack them hopefully. She needed to be comfortable.

"This one?" the princess Dashkov tells her showing yet another colored salmon which she gagged at. "Never in my life would I want to see that dress" she put it back in the racks.

"This one?"

"No"

"Sure this one?"

"Nope"

"Katty what about this one?"

"Natalie Dashkov are we not friends" she snaps playfully which causes Natalie to nervously laugh running out of ideas.

"Well, Kat I've shown the good ones. You're so hard to please" Natalie huffs giving up already.

"No she isn't. She just needs someone to inspire her" her body became completely tensed, her eyes went wide, her throat dry and her heart felt like it stopped. She became pale and everything she was thinking about was gone and one picture appeared with his face.

Natalie became worried. "Kat?"

He stood tall over her with his black leather jacket and jet black hair as his eyes burned right on the back of her head making her not want to turn around.

'If you don't turn he'll go away' she thought but he didn't.

"Don't even try pretending it isn't you, Rae, or should I say Kat?" she was doomed. Slowly turning on her heels she became face to face with her ex.

His brown eyes looking right into hers. "Zane. Hey" she awkwardly waved at the human guy who she didn't finish off on good terms. She actually didn't even finish off. "How you know it was me?"

"I'd know that tattoo wherever I go" he says and she curses herself for choosing this blouse today. Lissa did suggest the purple T-shirt.

"So, you stalking me?" seeing him after she left him in a very bad way was not good. Yet again, their relationship was possibly the most toxic thing you'd ever see.

They'd even on and off. They argued and he had a possessive manner she hated. She tried to keep them going and every time she broke up they'd end up hooking up once again getting back together.

That was until arose said they had to run once again and well she's left with no goodbyes.

He was angry.

"Nah just came over to say hi and ask where the hell did my girlfriend had run off too without telling me" he says and she purses her lips.

"Ex. We're clearly done" she scoffs at him which made him chuckle darkly.

"Are you sure? We never had that conversation after" he took a step forward to her to which she took one back Natalie feeling very awkward at the strong tension between the two.

"Kat? Um, I think we should go" she tried to drive them out of this conversation seeing now Dimitri had noticed this guy talking to them.

Zane chuckled once again shaking his head. "Wait. I'd like to have a talk with Kat first" he says and Katherine shakes her head.

"We're done, Zane. Get it in your head" she snaps over it and turns to go but he grips her wrist causing her to grunt a little in surprise and Dimitri rushes over but she grips his and makes him let go of her. "Don't you ever touch me again" she snaps and pushes him against the wall holding him by his shirt as he looks a time her in surprise.

"What the-"

Dimitri stands behind her protectively as Rose and Lissa arrive having seen the discreet argument. "Forget about anything we ever had, stop being such a dick and erase me from your memories" she looked him directly in the eyes with a deadly glare as he dazed compelled by her.

Slowly he nods and she lets him go. "Excuse me" he says to her and walks off to his group of friends as a girl grabs his hand kissing him. She scoffs in disgust.

"Katerina..." Dimitri says but she raises her hand stopping him.

She composed herself and turns to her friends. She sees the dress in Natalie's hand that would be the one she was going to show her next if they hadn't been interrupted and grabs it.

"I'll take this one. Let's go" her dull voice says to them and walks over to the cashier.

No one said anything. Katherine clearly was bothered by him and Dimitri was bothered by that. Rose and Lissa shared a look clearly remembering Zane.

"Didn't think I'd see him again" Rose glared at the dude who just laughed with his friends. "Me neither" scoffed Lissa and follow Katherine to pay for their dresses.

OMG Katherine and a past human ex? I bet y'all didn't see that one coming! I hope you didn't, I really wanted to add something of her time with the human world. She may only have had a little time there but she did cause some drama.
