-3rd person's P.O.V-

Katherine sat outside on the school's roof as she looked at the sunset. Back when she and her sisters weren't trapped in this hell hole of school, she would often go up to the rooftop and watch the sun go down.

It was nice seeing how it seemed to blend in with the mountain it always made her feel better. Her head snapped behind when she heard a sound.

Breathing in deep calming herself down when she saw it was Dimitri. "You know students are forbidden to be up here" he said and she rolled her eyes. "I know, i know" she says not really moving from the spot.

He chuckled and walked beside her not sitting down. "They can see you" he tried convincing her to go back inside but she just shrugged. "Eh, not really caring if they do. Kirova already hates me enough, what else can she do?" her voice says carelessly.

That bitch as she called her has already tried making the three girls' lives hard enough. Getting detention won't affect her. "Not seem to care much" he said and again she shrugged her eyes looking at the mountains.

"Why would i? My dad's gone, and the only thing i have left are my two sisters. Which are kind of a pain in the ass but still my sisters. And my mom well i barely see her" he could hear sincerity and some hurt in her voice.

He sat beside her and put a hand on her shoulder making her turn around to cover a blush. "What about the telegrams she sends you?" he asked.

"A piece a paper with what? Two words. Most words she has ever sent are three. What kind of mother does that?" she was always upset at how little her mother paid attention to her and Rose. She understood she had a job elsewhere but come on there were computers she could video call them from. That's why she was so upset at her mother.

"I'm sorry about that" he told her and she gave him a thanks smile.

"No worries" they stayed in silence as they watched the sun almost at its peak of leaving a dark sky.

"You like the sun?" he asked and she nodded. "Too obvious?" Katherine asked. He grinned nodding. "Yeah. It makes me feel better, more human, and it's beautiful" she explains.

She sneaked a glance at him, but he caught her. "Well, i think the sun is pretty, but there are more beautiful things I've seen" he tells her looking at her which caused her to hide a grin and her more red face.

But just as he caught her staring at him, she noticed his eyes looks down at her lips, and then back up to her green eyes. It was like something was pulling them without noticing they were just inches apart.

Their lips would've touched and she would be jumping with excitement if it wasn't for the bell ringing. He quickly made space in between clearing his throat.

"Sorry about that" he apologized making her sigh. She really wanted to feel his lips on her. "Whatever" she stood up now wanting to go to her room after that.

"Here I'll take you to your dorm" he went to go to the opposite side of the edge and pointed to the door.

"Thanks but i know the way" it was probably rude how the words came out but the fact of how he pulled away like he was scared if they got caught would be an unforgivable crime. And maybe it was but who cared?

"Katerina-"

Katherine didn't let him finish because she jumped off the edge doing a front flip and landing on her feet perfectly. Perks of being a vampire.

"Quiet down. Let's pick up where we left of" said the teacher as Katherine sat beside Lisa and Rose with Natalie on the side. She took out the notebook to pretend like she would write something down when truly she wouldn't-

"After the tribunals in Romania-Mia!" her eyes look up to see the teacher calling the blonde bitch. She seemed to be passing a note. "You're usually a lot better at passing notes. Having an off day?" he asked.

"Oh please Mr. Misneer please Don't read this note out loud, I beg of you" she faked please and Mr. Misneer made it fly over to him.

Katherine shared a look with Rose. "I bet that drama queen-I mean that drama-princess killed that fox to distract the school from her real secret" Kathrine raised an eyebrow.

"Don't go on" Mia fake begged.

"Mr. Misneer You're being used as a tool to break class with Mia's vile propaganda" Lisa stops him glaring at the blonde.

Katherine could feel how she got more upset. "Are you calling me a tool?" the teacher asked.

"If she's not I will" Rose lets out before thinking.

"What was that Hathaway?" he calls. "Now I'm curious. So, it turns out the reason that Lisa survived so long on the outside is she used Rose as a personal feed bag..." he trailed off realizing what he just read.

Katherine's eyes widen and sent a death glare to Mia at her half false assumptions. She wasn't fed off but Rose was and either way, it made her angry.

Everybody started talking making Katherine let out a low scoff. "Settle down! Dhampir, Moroi, this is a very serious allegation. I'm going to pretend I never read this. Everyone turn to page 100" the teacher says but Katherine didn't think it was over.

"Hey Mia!" the blonde looked back unamused. "I warned you" she growls before getting up and going to the blonde and try and beat the crap out of her but Rose stopped her with Lisa.

Katherine was pretty strong so anyway it took both of them to sit her back down. "Katherine another one and you'll be sent to Kirova's" the teacher says and she huffs seeing Mia and her followers laugh at them.

"Wait but Mr. Misneer you left out the best part. About me and my boy Jesse and that tramp dam last night" Katherine's temper was being tested right now.

"What?" Rose scoffs.

"Truth hurts bloodwhore" the redhead would've now seriously gotten up if it wasn't for Ray to be light up in fire.

A smirk grew on her lips when she noticed it was Christian who caused that. "Christian cut it out!" the fire went out as he turned to the teacher. "Kindly report to Ms. Kirova's office, Mr. Ozera. Down the hall turn left-"

"Like I need directions" he snaps back getting up but before he left he burns the note in the hands of Mr. Mineer.

Katherine laughs while sending a glare to both groups telling them they'll hear about this later. Many students had started to fear the ginger. They knew not to mean with her because she for sure will kick your ass in a blink of an eye.

Not to mention her powers were bigger than the others.
