I woke up in the middle of the night. I looked at the clock and it said it was 4:17 exactly. I turned myself in the two person bed and saw Aleina didn't lay beside me. In fact the bed was cold so she probably hadn't been in the bed at all. Would she sleep downstairs because she didn't want to share the bed yet? I climbed out of the bed and opened the door. The light in the hallway was out but the light from downstairs came upstairs a little. She's still awake or did she forget to turn of the lights? I walked downstairs and saw the brown haired girl still sitting behind her laptop. Her hair in a messy bun as the whole dinning table was covered in files. She looked up at me with tired eyes.

"Did I wake you?"

"No you're really quiet don't worry. Have you slept yet."

"Yes..."

"No you didn't. Your a bad liar."

"I didn't sleep yet but I will I promise."

"When? It's almost half past 4."

"I know but this is really important I can't drop it. I just... can't."

"What's so important about it?"

"I'm getting calls and all that I have debts but I don't have debts and I'm trying to find out how it can be that they think I still have debts. This can cost me my companies... I need to get this over with as quick as I can."

"Let me know if I can help okay?"

"No I don't think you can but thank you."

"But please go to bed at 5... you'll be tired tomorrow with the wedding."

"I'll think about it."

"Please?"

"Depends on how far I am."

I let out a sigh before shaking my head and walking upstairs again. This girl was crazy. I climbed back in bed and fell asleep rather quickly. The next morning I woke up around 8AM. I would go on a run before the others would wake up as well. I came downstairs and who was still sitting there... you guessed it, Aleina. She looked up as she took a sip of her mug probably filled with tea or coffee.

"Your not telling me you didn't sleep."

"Well then I'm not telling you. If it helps I have found the mistakes and am now e-mailing them so they can take a look as well and it will all be handled and done."

"Afterwards you go straight to bed miss Ancel."

"Bossy as fuck but yea I am because I would love to get some sleep."

"I'll be back in 30 minutes."

"See you in 30 minutes then."

My run was quite peaceful. The nature around here was nice in combination with the upcoming sun and the slight breeze. When I finished my little run I was a bit sweaty and walked back into the house after the cooling down. Aleina was gathering her stuff and placed them back in her bag neatly. She looked up and smiled softly at me. Marta and Ricardo walked down the stairs and looked at us.

"Jeez early birds. How long have you been up for already? It's still early!"

"I was up around 8AM. She's been up all night."

"Funny Charles. When did you wake up Aleina?"

"I was actually was up all night. I'm going to bed now to catch some sleep."

"You were up all night?! Why?"

"Work... it was really important and it couldn't wait a night let alone a day longer."

"Well what are you waiting for?! Go upstairs to sleep! You'll be a zombie at the wedding."

"Don't worry I won't be a zombie at the wedding Marta."

Aleina let out a soft giggle before she went upstairs with her stuff.

"Why didn't you bring her to bed with you?!"

"No need to be angry at me! I tried but that girl is stubborn so I didn't want to push it."

"You could have carried her!"

"That's a possibility but I would much rather stay alive. Aleina would probably kill if I did that while she's working."

Marta shook her head disapprovingly and walked to the kitchen as Ricardo laughed softly.

"DON'T LAUGH AT ME!"

I gave him a tap on the shoulder before going upstairs. Aleina had just brushed her teeth and climbed into the bed as I gathered my stuff to shower. We would be driving to the location around 13:30 because the wedding was at sun set. She would have plenty of time to sleep. After I took my shower and changed into some sweatpants with a shirt I climbed in bed next to Aleina. I gently pulled her towards me so her head rested on my chest. I softly let my hand rub her back as I was scrolling through my instagram. I kind of felt... relaxed having her on my chest as she slept. Like it was normal, almost as if it had always been that way. A feeling I hadn't really had in any other relationship... even though this is nothing official yet. For the outside world it was but for us not. I want to stay like this forever already but something inside me told me not to think about that...
