CHAPTER SIX
►CHAMPION

The turtle brothers were up on a rooftop, showing off their mystic powers, except for Donatello since he doesn't have any.

"Oh, yeah!" Michelangelo hollered, running over to attack his eldest brother who only blocked the attack. "Check this out! Power-Fun-Jutsu!" Swinging his kusari-fundō around, the ball of his kusari-fundō created some form of fire tornado around Raphael, surprising the alligator-snapping turtle.

"Not bad, not bad." Raphael laughed . "But check out these puppies!" He exclaimed, hitting his Tonfas together to activate his mystic powers, blowing out his younger brother's fire. "Tonfa Power Jutsu!"

His brothers stared in awe of his powers, but Leonardo grew jealous of the attention his brother was gaining, so he decided to steal the spotlight by pushing Raphael away with a cocky smirk plastered across his face. "If you guys want to see some real skill, look right here. I'm gonna make a portal to New Jersey!"

Leonardo swung his ōdachi around, a small blue spark forming in the air, only for it to disappear in an instant. Leonardo grew impatient as he swung his weapon over and over again. "C'mon, Power-Portal-Jutsu."

He swung once more, the spark growing a bit bigger, but his attempt to open a portal failed miserably. He groaned, swinging his ōdachi recklessly as his brothers watched him with bored eyes. Finally, after many failed attempts, he finally opened up a portal.

Only it was tiny.

"Yeah!" Leonardo cheered for himself.

Raphael laughed, crouching down a bit before looking over to his brother. (Michelangelo was to busy staring at the portal in awe, reaching his hand out to touch it) "That's not gonna get you across the street, let alone to New Jersey!"

"Okay, but." Leonardo tried defending himself, trying his best to boost his own ego. He entered his hand inside the portal, appearing behind his as he began scratching his own shell. "See, it's practical, which makes it better."

"Hey Donnie, what are you doing bud?" Michelangelo turned to his genius brother who was holding a purple crystal and his goggles.

"Well, while you guys took flashier items from Draxum, I, on brand, took a more cerebral one." Donatello says, holding up the purple crystal. "See, this crystal, combined with the elements--"

"Get to the point." Leonardo droned, getting bored from all of Donatello's rambling.

Donatello rolled his eyes, muttering to himself. "(Y/N) would listen to me." He breathed in, inserting the crystal inside his goggles and 'get to the point' like Leonardo requested.

"Now I can see all the mystic energy hidden around New York. Your welcome and thank you." He smiled, putting his tech on, now able to see everything through his goggles.

"Whoa. That's awesome." Raphael walked up next to Donatello, looking down the building. "Hey, what about that laundromat?"

"It looks like a laundromat." Donatello checked, answering his brother's question and removing his goggles.

"--But what do we have over here?" Donatello looked down the building, putting his goggles back on, looking over an old lady with a shopping cart, but in reality, it was a Yōkai. "Underneath that old lady's skin is some sort of fire mutant thing."

The fire Yōkai walked into an alleyway, looking around to make sure no one was looking. Once she was sure, she turned to face a wall that had a graffiti drawing with a skull. She lifted her hand up, her fingers together as she waved lightly, her hand glowing. The graffiti art turned into a portal that led to a hidden restaurant. The turtles stared in absolute shock, watching the yōkai enter the restaurant before the portal closed.

"She just disappeared into that wall" Michelangelo gasped in awe, absolutely stunned.

"I believe she went into some sort of cool mystic pizza place." Donatello answered, smacking Leonardo's hand away when he attempted to touch his goggles.

"Pizza! Guys, my blood sugar's getting low. I need to eat bad!" Michelangelo cried, his stomach grumbling.

The all hop over to the alleyway, Raphael being the first to step up and try to open the portal, but Leonardo blocked his path with his usual smirk.

"Step aside. Let's put the prettiest face first." Leonardo says with his usual smirk.

"I don't think that's a good idea." Raphael furrowed his brow-bone in annoyance.

"Why?" Leonardo asked, lifting his hand up. "The one who's gonna get us inside; is me."

He waved his hand the same way the previous yōkai had, only the skull graffiti drawing turned to Leonardo with a look of disapproval and stuck its tongue out at him.

"Nice try, pretty boy." Raphael pushed Leonardo away, standing in front of him. He lifted his arm, waving it as it began to glow a a bright color or blue. The portal to the restaurant opened up, Raphael now smiling proud of himself. "Awesome!"

Raphael jumped in, Donatello and Michelangelo following behind. Leonardo panicked as his brothers left him behind, running over to the portal as well. "Don't leave me!"

Raphael was shocked to see the restaurant full of yōkai and mutants like them. He looked over to Donatello and Michelangelo both already trying to walk to get a table, but he lifted them up by their shells.

"Alright, alright. Everybody be cool." Raphael says quietly. "This is our first time in a classy restaurant-eh-establishment."

"Hey guys, this wall is definitely broken." Leo spoke up, forcing his brother to look at him. They all smirked at Leonardo's situation, his face stuck between the wall, and at the outside was the rest of his body, a few pigeons on his shell.

Michelangelo and Donatello pulled Leonardo into the restaurant. Raphael paid no attention whatsoever to his brothers and instead looked around. He then noticed an empty table.

With (Y/N) in it.

"Hm, a table." Raphael hummed a bit confused as he spoke to his brothers, also blushing lightly at the sight of the young woman. "What do we do?"

"Okay, be cool." Donatello breathed in, looking over at his older brother before looking back at (Y/N) who was drinking a bit of wine as she read a journal. "I think we just sit at it, and ask for stuff, like (Y/N)."

"Uh, like regular people?" Michelangelo asked, getting ready to run over to the girl. Leonardo also noticed the girl, peeking up as he did so.

"I think here, we are regular." Donatello grinned as they all walked towards the table with (Y/N) to settle down, but of course, the youngest brother sprinted towards (Y/N) which caught her off guard, almost spilling her wine.

Leonardo glared at the wall he was stuck at, growling quietly. He was about to follow his brothers and go to (Y/N), until two Yokai walk behind him, laughing.

"Never forget, you are the champion, bro!" The Yōkai's spoke to the other, giving them a high-five.

"Thanks bro, I was having a real existential crisis!" The other yōkai cheered as they walked off.

This caught Leo's attention as he looked towards a room with the words; Prove You're a Champion.

Leonardo walked inside, looking at all the pictures of winners with stars in his eyes. One of the pictures caught his attention.

(Y/N) was in the wall of winners, holding a pizza slice with a cocky smirk on her face. He aspired to be like her.

Actually, to be with her, in a room, just the two of them. With his hands trailing up her spine as his lips were pressed against hers. He'd force his tongue in as it danced with hers. His arms sliding under her shirt and cloak to feel her warm and soft skin, slowly unclipping her bra to—

Leonardo snapped out of the illicit thoughts of (Y/N) as he was stopped by a bone man that denied his entrance towards the Maze Leonardo was originally thinking of by using his bone arm. He then smacked Leonardo.

"Ow!" Leonardo groaned, rubbing his snout which the bone man had smacked. He slightly glared at the bone man. "Ew, gross."

"Oh, no, no, no, no, no." Señor Hueso shook his ripped out arm at him, his finger shaking along with it as he denied his entry with a thick Spanish accent. "This is not for you."

"Prove your champion? Oh, this is definitely for me." Leonardo smiled smugly, a small blush on his face since a few of his nefarious thoughts had remained.

"Well, no it's not." Señor Hueso scoffed, his voice remaining nonchalant as he continued. "You my friend, are not a champion, sorry."

"But you see, Bone Man--And can I call you bone man?" Leonardo questions. "I am a champion, and I want to know what's behind your rope." He pointed at the velvet rope in front of the entry.

"Well, you need not be concerned with the laberinto de la muerte." Hueso explained briefly. "Or as you would call it, the Maze of Death."

"Ominous." Leonardo grinned. "But also, a question. When I solve your Maze of Death what do I get?"

"You get your picture immortalized on the wall of champions, also pizza." He pointed out the wall of pictures with all the winners, in which (Y/N) was in as well. "The world's greatest pizza." Hueso points out the heading over the door.

"Well." Leonardo chuckled. "Guess who's face is about to go on that wall? I've solved all kinds of mazes. You're looking at the maze master, mister!"

"Be warned." Hueso spoke lowly. "In this maze the use of mystic powers is strictly forbidden."

"No mystic powers?" Leonardo questions. "Perfect. I never touch this stuff. I'm old school." He lied through his teeth with a grin, to which Señor Hueso let out a small 'tch'.

"Fine." Hueso sighed. "Would you like to enter alone?"

"You know what make it for five because what's the point of being a champion if you can't rub it in your brother's and friend's face?"

"So then he asked 'what are you gonna do, stab me?' So I stabbed him."

"Understandable." Donatello listened intently to (Y/N) most recent criminal she's caught (and killed) while reading her journal, leaning on his shoulder, as the pizza was brought to them.

"Sweet salvation." Michelangelo drooled as he brought a pizza slice close to his mouth (Which (Y/N) was now paying for). Raphael was removing the carrots that have been put on the pizza, placing them on (Y/N) plate.

SMACK!

"Hey!" He cried, watching his pizza slice land on top of a Yōkai and was eaten by it. "My salvation!"

(Y/N) looked up from the journal she was reading to see see what all the ruckus was about, lifting her head up from Donatello's shoulder, only to see Leonardo was the one to smack the pizza off the younger brother's hand, who was now crying and hugging (Y/N)'s waist.

"What are you doing?" Leonardo asked with a forced smiled, pulling his younger brother away from (Y/N). "Don't eat that Run of the Mill garbage, when you can have the world's greatest pizza!"

"Oh please." Donatello scoffed. "Every place in New York claims to have the world's greatest pizza."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. But this pizza is behind the velvet rope. Velvet rope you guys. Velvet rope--." Leonardo emphasized, before getting smacked by Señor Hueso. "You know that means quality!" He tried persuading, getting back up from the hit.

"Ah, Miss (L/N). Are you planning on going in again?" Hueso asked the young (H/C) haired woman, his tone of voice holding a hint of fear. She only gave him a nod.

"I believe so, Señor Hueso." She replied, rubbing her temples tiredly as she looked over at the red-eared slider who was smiling at her as he entered the room with his brothers.. "They will die in there for sure."

"Son amigos tuyos?" He questioned.

"Eh." She shrugged, following behind the turtle brothers. "More or less."

"Leo what is this place? I thought we were getting pizza." Raphael questioned, furrowing his brow bones.

"It's nothing. We just got to solve an easy straightforward maze first." Leonardo explained calmly as his words echoed across the whole maze.

"Wait what? I didn't sign up for a pre-meal maze!" Raphael cried out.

"Yeah, this looks really hard." Michelangelo complained, his stomach growling from how hungry he was.  He huffed, hugging (Y/N), so she rubbed his shell gently, to which he smiled at. "My tumbus wants easy food."

This definitely earned a reaction from Leonardo, his aura exploding anger and a bit of jealousy. But, he his this behind a forced grin, walking up to them and pulling (Y/N) away from his younger brother by grabbing her hand.

"Don't worry, just follow me!" Leonardo smiled (forcefully), sliding his hand down the girl's body.

"Onward, boys and girl!" Leonardo exclaimed, holding the girl by the waist, right underneath her cloak. Of course, his brothers saw this and all shared a look, almost glaring at the red-eared slider.

Only he didn't care and pulled the girl closer to him.

"Left here." Leonardo guided his brothers and (Y/N) throughout the maze. "Just follow my lead."

"Left again!" He ordered.

"But it's--" (Y/N) was cut off by Leonardo's finger pressed against her lips.

"Shh."

"No!" Raphael complained, looking back at Leonardo from the dead end.

"Yes!" Leonardo replied.

"No!"

"We're lost!" Mikey groaned, clinging to (Y/N) who petted his head gently as he cried.

Once again, (Y/N) looked over at Leonardo, only to find him already staring at them with a static expression, narrowing his eyes at his younger brother. And just like before, his anger and jealousy radiated from him. Once more, he walked up to them and took off with the girl, letting his brothers follow behind them.

"Estas bien?" She questioned, turning her head to face him.

"Muy bien! Never been better!" Leonardo replied a bit too enthusiastically, making (Y/N) immediately realize he was lying, but stayed quiet, until he spoke again.

"Just stay close to me." He muttered, sliding his hand down her arm to hold her hand, intervening fingers rather possessively. "Por favor."

"Esta bien." She sighed, trying her best to ignore the immense anger and envious aura emitting from him.

"Guys, trust me, it's this way." Leonardo smiled, still holding the girl's hand. His brothers followed from behind, their energy drained from their bodies and just utterly tired.

Everyone, but (Y/N), perked up at the sound of loud whirring noises. They turned to Michelangelo holding his stomach, staring at him confused.

"That's not my tum-tum." He hummed, shaking his head.

"That, no--no, that--that's the sound of baking." Leo took off, following the loud noise. "We must be close." (Y/N) and his brothers followed behind, eventually catching up to him.

"Wow, look at that!" Leonardo stared in awe, along with his brothers who were standing behind him. (Y/N) only stared at the scenery in front of them, which was self serving pizza by machines themselves that seemed to be yōkais. "They make the pizza right in front of you."

(Y/N) sighed, knowing very well this was an obstacle.

Leonardo walked up to them confidently, a smirk creeping upon his face. "Can we get four extra larges?" He orders. "One meat lovers, one definitely not Hawaiian. Okay, how does everyone feel about olives?"

The Yōkais all glared at them, growling. Michelangelo gulped, looking at them nervously. "Uh, looks like they hate olives."

"Huh?" Leonardo hummed, raising an brow-bone. The Yokai (A shredder, rolling pin, brick oven, and a pizza cutter), all ran, rolled or hopped their way towads the turtles and (Y/N).

"Okay, okay we don't need olives!" Leonardo blocked the pizza cutter Yōkai's attack with his sword. Michelangelo was rolled over by the rolling pin and Raphael was punching the Shredder yōkai. (Y/N) only watched them, not really knowing what to do.

"Come on!" Raphael grunts, leaning back as the shredder tried throwing a punch, just barely dodging it. Raphael hopped back, glancing over at the end of his bandanna tails to see them ripped and shredded. "Whoa! Nice try, shredhead. Time for my mystic-punch-jitsu!"

Leonardo realized what his older brother was about to do and immediately sliced the pizza cutter Yōkai, running over to stop Raphael. He threw himself in front of Raphael, yelling, "No mystic powers!"

"No mystic powers?!" Raphael questioned as Leonardo fell face flat onto the ground. The shredder yōkai pushed Raphael onto the ground, Raphael trying his best to push him away. Until the Yōkai was cut in two.

(Y/N) looked down at Raphael with a raised brow, holding her sickles over her shoulders. "You okay?"

Raphael smiled and got up. "Yeah, thanks." He replied, narrowing his eyes at Leo who was only smiling.

"HELP."

The three turn to see Donatello screaming and struggling to get away from the steaming brick oven. Raphael grabbed and swung the oven yōkai in circles, causing Donatello to go flying. Raphael threw the oven, causing it to break and crumble into pieces.

(Y/N) looked yo to see Donatello falling. She extended her arms out, catching the soft-shell turtle in her arms and setting him down. She pulled out one of her sickles again before throwing it towards Michelangelo's way, cutting the rolling pin Yōkai in half. The younger brother shrieked as the sickle landed just a centimeter above his head, looking back at (Y/N) who muttered a "sorry".

"What's up with the maze, Leo?" Raphael questioned, almost angrily, walking closer to the red-eared slider. "I almost got my cheeks grated!"

Leonardo grew a bit nervous and looked away, only for his eyes to land on the prize that was at the center of the maze. A large statue of a bull that held the 'World's Greatest Pizza'.

He smiled, pointing it out. "Relax, we solved it! The pizza is just over--oh no!"

The path was blocked by three thick walls crossed their paths, they other exits also closing too, trapping all five of them from where they are now. Leonardo slammed his fist at the walls, groaning in frustration. "Oh, Come on!"

Raphael walked up behind him, crossing his arms. Now, why can't I just use my Power Punch and take down this wall?"

"Funny story." Leonardo chuckled nervously. "I may have left one thing out--"

"No mystic powers in the laberinto de la muerte." (Y/N) explains, standing next to Donatello with her arms crossed. Michelangelo walked up to her, handing back the girl's sickle, to which she put back on her waistline. "Or as you may call it; The Maze of Death."

"The Maze of what now?" Raphael questions.

"Okay, two things." Leonardo sighed.

The ground beneath them shook. Everyone looked around to see the two walls slowly closing in, long metal spikes coming out. Fire was shot from the holes in the walls, to which Donatello reacted by grabbing both (Y/N) and Mikey out of the way.

"Uh, guys--"

"Not now, Donnie!" Raphael interrupted, glaring at Leonardo. "What's going on here Leo?!"

"Yes, you have been acting weird the whole day." (Y/N) agreed, watching Michelangelo run around due to the top of his head being on fire.

"Nothing, we're just here to get pizza." Leonardo lied, before muttering. "And to get my photo on the wall of champions..."

"A-ha! I knew we weren't here for pizza!" Raphael narrowed his eyes once more. "You just wanted to come here so you could get your picture on the wall. To prove you're the best at something."

"That's what I just said.." Leonardo replied quietly.

"Don't try to deny it, Leo. I got you." Raphael ignored.

"He is not even denying it?" (Y/N) stared at him confused, to which Leonardo agreed to.

"We're gonna be skewered!" Michelangelo cried. This brought their brothers back to reality, noticing the walls were much closer than before.

"We're trapped! How are we going to get out of here?" Leonardo questioned.

"MAKE A PORTAL." His brothers yelled, startling him.

"I can't, it's against the rules." Leonardo replied with a frown. "I'll never get my picture on the wall of champions like (Y/N)."

Like me? Horrible decision, really, (Y/N) thought to herself, sensing his sadness and insecurity from his aura. She frowned slightly.

"Who cares about a picture when we're gonna be crushed?!" Raphael raised his voice slightly.

"Fine." Leonardo groaned, swinging his sword. He tried again and again, and eventually stopped, slouching. "I can't do it. I've got no mystic mojo. I'm useless."

(Y/N)'s eyes widen slightly at his last statement. Raphael frowned, walking up to him and placing his hand over Leonardo's shoulder. (Y/N) walked up to them as well, standing on Leonardo's other side, until Raphael spoke up. "That's not true, brother. You just got to believe in yourself, and know this: if I die in this maze, I will haunt you for the rest of your life."

Donatello them cut in. "Well in theory, you'd both be ghosts, so I'm not sure how you would--"

"Donnie, not helping!" Raphael yelled.

"Y'know, it would really help me if you guys said I was your champion." Leonardo gave his elder brother his puppy eyes.

Raphael pushed him forward, all his brothers shouting. "JUST OPEN IT."

Leonardo rolled his eyes as he held his sword close to him, and opened his mouth about to give himself a pep-talk. Until he felt two hands over his shoulders, feeling them breathing slowly over his neck, causing him to shiver at the feeling.

"Eres mi campeón." (Y/N) whispered into his ear, her hands slowly sliding up and down his shoulders.

Leo felt heat rise up to his cheeks, his eyes widening at her words before asking, "I-I'm your champion?"

He inwardly cursed himself for stuttering as he continues, making sure to cover up his nerves with his infamous smirk. "Well, of course I am! I am the best after all, aren't I, amor?"

(Y/N) only gave him a blank stare, not confirming nor denying his statement. She sighed, leaning in forward and carefully placed her soft, slightly chapped, lips upon the corner of his lip. She noticed his shoulders had tensed, his face now completely red, she couldn't tell where his stripes went (His brothers were too busy dodging the fire to pay any attention to them).

"Alright, now hurry it up, campeón." She urged him, smacking the back of his head.

Leonardo chuckled to himself, rubbing the back of his head. "Alright, querida, watch the master at work."

He swung his sword again, a small spark appearing before it disappeared. He grumbled, swinging it once more and this time it worked, making him smile, cheering as he hugged (Y/N) tightly. "I did it! Oh, I really am the best at--"

Raphael didn't even hesitate to grab his brothers and Leonardo, jumping into the portal. (Y/N) stayed behind, unknowingly smiling at them as the portal closed.

The portal opened above the center of the maze, all four brothers fell out the portal and crashed onto the ground harshly.

Leonardo was the first to sit up, looking around. "We're at the center of the maze."

He immediately stood up, walking over to the statue and grabbed the pizza on the statue's hand, holding it up.

"We've got the pizza!" Leonardo cheered. "I am the champion!" All his brothers cheered as Leonardo was looking around for the (H/C) haired woman, his smile faltering when he couldn't find her. "Wait, where's--"

The statue's eyes glowed, it's head slowly rotating towards Leonardo with an irritated expression on her face. Leonardo felt the statue rumbling and turned to it nervously. "CHEATERS."

"Who dares to try and eat my pizza, without following the strict customer agreement?!"

"That cannot be good." Donatello spoke up, him and his brothers looked over to the statue's chest, green vines popping out and going towards the brothers, which they dodged.

"You cannot escape me!" The voice yelled out. Michelangelo used his kusari-fundō to slice the vines coming his way. He fell onto the ground, his eyes widening when the floor began glowing. He screamed at a pole emerged from the floor, sending him high above the ground. "I am the assistant manager of this maze! And the maze does what I want!"

The vines wrapped around Michelangelo, pulling him back to the ground as he screamed.

"Pending corporate approval!"

Donatello entered the maze to attempt to run away from the vines, but the exits were all blocked. The vines appeared above him and dragged him back as he yelled.

Leonardo was slicing the vines left and right, until it wrapped itself around his leg, pulling him towards the statue.

Raphael also tried escaping, but didn't even get the time to as the vines trapped him.

They were all brought over to the statue, watching the cracks of it glow a gold color. The statue blew up, the smoke covering everyone's view. As the smoke cleared out, revealing a bull Yōkai standing on top of a vine and glaring at all of them.

"Run. You cut up my maze. You cheated. Now, you will pay!" The Yōkai yelled, her arm emitting flames as she extended her arm upward. The flames flew up, forming a giant hand. She raised her arm back, before moving it forward.

"WAIT." Leonardo cut in, deciding to confess. "I'm the one who cheated. I created the portal to save my brothers and my friend, who isn't her at the moment." Leonardo muttered the last part, but unfortunately, his brothers heard him as they began to look around to see if (Y/N) was anything to be seen. "Punish me, their champion."

"Yes! Punish him!" His brothers agreed, making Leonardo roll his eyes.

"You all tried to cheat me out of my world's greatest 'za!" The Yōkai spat, her stare filled with hatred towards the turtles.

"How can you call it the world's greatest?"(Y/N) asked as she walked into the center of the maze, raising a brow at the Yōkai. "How do you know they haven't had better?"

"(Y/N)!" The brothers called out, smiling to finally know that she was okay.

"What do you mean better?" The Yōkai questioned, her glare softened at the girl's figure, immediately recognizing the bounty hunter, but her stare remained firm. She crossed her arms. "You're not talking about Famous Minotaur Pizza on the 19th, are you?!"

Leonardo glanced at (Y/N) who had given him a nod before answering. "Aww, man. You talking about FMP on 19? Oh, I love that place!"

"That garbage those idiots call pizza?!" The bull Yōkai spoke lowly, glancing over at (Y/N).

(Y/N) faced the Yōkai, walking up next to her. "They don't know how good your pizza is. Let them have a taste."

The Yōkai nodded hesitantly, placing the four turtles onto the ground before yelling. "Wait until you try mine!"

She lowered the pizza box, opening it up for the brothers to see. (Y/N) pick up a few slices as she handed one to each one of them. The bull Yōkai snapped her fingers, one of her vines bringing her a small box. She handed it to (Y/N) with a smirk. "Made it just for you, sweetie."

(Y/N) raised a brow, opening the box. She found one of her favorite foods.

Empanadas.

(Y/N) grabbed the pastry, taking a bite as the brothers bit into their pizza slices. (Y/N) hummed in delight, looking over at the Bull Yōkai as she gave her a nod, muttering a, "thanks."

"This pizza gooood." Michelangelo drooled, his tum-tum now satisfied.

The Yōkai chuckled. "Best you've ever had?"

"Really appreciate you letting us go." Donatello spoke with his mouth full, a content smile plastered across his face.

Leonardo swallows his food before speaking up, a smirk creeping upon his lips as he looked at his brothers and (Y/N). "Who's your champion now, huh?"

His brothers stared at him annoyed, while (Y/N) silently ate her empanada, which Leonardo found quite adorable. Leonardo rolled his eyes at his brothers. "They'll come around. But first, where do we go?"

"For what?" (Y/N) asked, making the Bull Yōkai question the same thing.

"To get our picture taken for the wall of champions!" Leonardo exclaimed, his fingers forming a quadrilateral shaped frame over his face. "Because I want to make sure they capture my good side."

"Wrong wall." The Yōkai slammed her pizza box closed, her vines smacking him right in the face.

Leonardo did in fact get his picture taken with his brothers.

For the wall of cheaters.

"Hisss!"

"Sorry."

Leonardo hissed quietly as (Y/N) pressed a piece of cotton onto his cuts and wounds from the harsh smack in the face he got from the bull, trying his best to stay silent through the burning sensation on his skin. (Y/N) grabbed a new cotton ball, damping it with alcohol as she picked it up with the tweezers.

"Gah!" Leonardo hissed, biting his lip as the cotton was pressed aver his cheek, turning his head away.

(Y/N) sighed softly, using her other hand to hold his face in place, causing the red-eared slider's face to go red. He closed his eyes, finally getting comfortable with her touch and relaxing, his shoulders no longer tensed. She finished treating his wounds, throwing away the bloody cotton ball and the tweezers on their sink.

She looked back at him, her thumb running over his black eye. She cupped his cheeks, pulling him to her as she planted a kiss over his eye. His eyes snapped open, feeling his face grow warm, but didn't pull away. She, however, did. She forced him to look at her, her eyes softening she did so.

"You are not useless."

Leonardo's breath hitched, his shoulders tensing as he looked at her. He felt embarrassed. "What?"

"You are not useless." She repeated, her thumb rubbing over his cheek. "Nobody is. Everyone has a purpose. You just have to find it, or wait for it to come."

Leonardo stayed silent, his eyes have lidded for he was deep in thought. She noticed another bruise on his other cheek. She leaned in and placed another kiss on it, only this time Leonardo relaxed to it. She pulled away and got up.

"Alright, campeón." She said calmly, walking out. "Goodnight."

"Goodnight.." He muttered back a reply, his hand over his cheek she had just kissed. His tail began wagging as his illicit thoughts had returned. "God dammit.."
