chris looked over at vivienne as she laughed at some dumb video on her phone. she returned from tour only a couple days ago, but just being alone with her once again felt like everything to him

"why are you staring at me?" she asked, snapping him out of his thoughts. "because i didnt see you for so long and now youre over there" she laughed and scooted closer to him.

her head rested on his chest as she scrolled through her phone "i only was gone for 5 months baby" she reminded him, his hans lifted her face, and he pressed a small kiss to her lips "5 months too long"

"we talked all day every day" "im needy, what can i say?" she laughed. "god, chris your acting as if i abandoned you" his lips pressed together as he shrugged his shoulders "you kinda did abandon me"

vivienne laughed, and stood up from the couch, only for chris to follow her.

she had been back for only a couple of days and he  was clinging to her side the entire time. "i missed you though" she said, twirling around as she faced him "i know" he nodded

"and i thought about you all the time" she smiled, placing her hands on his chest "i know" his hands went to their place on her waist

"and youre gonna have me for a while, im not going anywhere" he nodded "good, cause i was not gonna let you go anywhere?" he joked. viviennes mouth dropped open and he earned himself a slap on the chest

soft jazz music filled viviennes apartment as she continued walking to her kitchen "wanna dance?" he asked, holding his hand out "you? want to dance? what happened to my chris that i left?"

"he's still here, he just wants to bust a move sometimes, rose" she sighed and grabbed his hand "i guess i can bust a move with him" a dorky smile replaced whatever fake cool look chris attempted to make

"let me change the song though" he rushed over to the speaker and looked back at her "close your eyes" "why?" she questioned stupidly "obviously it's a surprise, baby" he sighed

"oh!" she laughed "yeah yeah , okay" she covered her eyes with her hands "hurry up though i wanna dance or eat already" he rushed over back to her, waiting for the song to begin

as soon as she heard the first breath of air she knew what song he had put— her song. the song she wrote about him, how he left her.

"right where you left me? really?" she asked as he rocked back and fourth "yes? i happen to love this song" he said mater of factly "well it's about—"

"me! i know" he smiled. the two of them rocked back and fourth, her softly singing along as he watched her, he had his own live version of her music just for him.

"i think losing you for two years was the worst thing i've ever done, and i've deleted all of matt's apps from his phone and computer once cause i was pissed at him" chris nodded "really?" she asked

"but— maybe you wouldn't have become so amazing and met all the people in youre life because of it." he shrugged "but good thing i saw you in concert and fell in love with you again"

she looked up at him in shock "you've been in love with me since the concert??" chris shrugged once again "possibly" "chris." "okay yeah, since the show"

"you were with estella still at the time though" he nodded "yeah but, she wasn't you. never was and never would've been you" vivienne sighed, and placed her hands on his shoulders "you can be so corny sometimes"

"i'm just speaking though" he confessed "no, no if i knew any better you were being romantic" he fake gagged "me? romantic? no." she laughed "oh wow i've broken chris sturniolo, whatever will the people do"

"the people actually like romantic chris sturniolo, they love him with his rockstar girlfriend" vivienne laughed and right where you left me came to and end

"what did you que?" she asked, hoping their dancing would continue "que?" he looked towards the speaker as wokeuplikethis* by playboi carti played

"no way you didn't put a cute song next" she said, hands on her hips "this is romantic!" he laughed, moving his arms and bouncing a little "oooh yeah no, stop that you thought you ate"

"i am eating" he pouted "in your dreams" vivienne said sarcastically, walking over to the speaker. "alright bro" "bro!" vivienne looked back at him "you just called me bro, oh my god... you hate me"

"no!" he yelled, wrapping his arms around her waist, and kissing the crook of her neck

"i'm sorry, forgive me. i love you" she laughed and looked back at him as at last by ella james began playing

"i forgive you, i love you more." he sighed softly as she hummed along to the song, staring outside the window overlooking the late night LA

"i could stay here forever" he mumbled "this moment, with you" he added on "well then i guess it's a good thing you aren't going anywhere"

"oh yeah, you couldn't get rid of me if you tried" chris joked

and vivienne knew it was true.

when two people are meant for eachother the stars will somehow bring them together time and time again. your souls are tied together and that happened to be the case with vivienne and chris

they forever were eachothers other half, and forever right where they left one another. no amount of time or effort could separate them. vivienne wasn't the only one still in the restaurant, cause sitting right next to her was chris

he was there, next to her the entire time. waiting for her to come back to him.
