Few months ago

"Young master, you need to learn the table manners well" the lady in well dressed says to the black haired guy, the guy who was trying his best to put up with the rules.

"I'm trying Miss Junbi" says the younger, looking up with a reassuring smile on his face but his smile fades away when he hears the voice of his mother, who is sitting at head of the table.

"You should try harder, you are not catching up with things as much I expected" she coldly addresses, making the younger's heart sinks in discourage as his smile fades away.

"Eomma, I'm trying my best to show you" his voice sounds a little crack, fighting back his tears away. But the cold Stoic expression on the lady's face didn't change at all.

"Soobin, you need to practice more, stop talking too much and get ready for your language classes" she mumbled, taking her fork before starting to eat again.

Soobin stares at his mother with pain at his eyes as he was never enough to his mother even if he has tried his best all time. Across the table wonyoung was staring at her brother with pity, feeling bad for him but she thought to keep quiet as she knows her words won't be taken seriously as always even if she step into the thing.

"I HAD ENOUGH MOM?! I'M YOUR SON BUT HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ME LIKE THIS?! WHAT YOU ALWAYS WANT IS PERFECTION AND FAME!" soobin lashes out his feelings, when his mother was asking him why he has been acting so weird and vulgar nowadays, dyed his hairs blonde, come back home late, doesn't follow any rules of the house, fought at the college and has started to smoke as well.

"CHOI SOOBIN!! DON'T RAISE YOUR VOICE AT ME?!" She yells back, standing at distance from soobin, staring at him with disbelief in her eyes with something unknown as well.

Wonyoung stands at the stairs, gripping into the wooden railings while watching her brother and her mom getting into heated argument and the argument ends with soobin leaving the house.

He left, he doesn't want to be treated like this anymore, he has enough of the rules of his mother.

At present

Out the college

"Choi soobin! Choi soobin wait?!" Yeonjun can't tolerate with it that soobin has been ignoring him for three days now and it's getting on his nerves now. He doesn't know what he has done wrong and it's not good to see the only person he has trusted is now ignoring him.

He try to match his pace with the blonde guy and finally he catch up, he held up soobin's arms to make him stop then turn the older to face him.

"Choi soobin?! Are you going to tell me why are you avoiding me?!" Yeonjun stands in front of soobin, who seems to avoid his gaze.

Yeonjun grab his face and make the older look at him, directly at his eyes but still soobin seems to ignore his eyes, where he is holding on the pain because of being avoided by the older.

"Why are you avoiding me? What I had done wrong that is making you avoid me?! Is it because of the kis-" soobin let go yeonjun's hands from his cheeks, making the younger's heart sinks with pain again.

"Yeonjun, I am sorry for what happened that day, it was unexpected,  you deserve to be with someone better than me, don't come after me" soobin says with a cold tone and try to left from there but yeonjun hold his arm again, preventing him from leaving.

"Soobin please?! We can talk it out right?! Don't avoid me like this and what are you talking about I don't know but please" yeonjun Begs, soobin's face was unreadable, there was no emotion on his face but yet lots of things were in his mind.

"Don't you... feel anything about me?" Yeonjun asks, making soobin frozen at his place but still he remains with his silence after few seconds He turns to yeonjun, facing him with cold gaze which confuses yeonjun, waiting for a response.

"No, I don't have anything towards you" yeonjun's hand leave the grip he was holding in Soobin's arms, his heart shattered into pieces as his vision get blurred in tears.

Soobin didn't say anything after that and started to walk away without looking back. "Soobin-n?! Soobin please!! Soobin-n" yeonjun watches soobin walking away without looking back, he slowly bend down where he was standing, and started to let out his sobs.

Soobin Can hears his sobbing sounds coming from behind and he wish he could hold yeonjun in his arms to say he's sorry but it will take turn to a way which he might not handle it later. He felt hurt as well but he made his heart cold and walk away.

"I'm sorry yeonjun but you don't deserve someone like me" soobin held back himself and walked away from there.

Yeonjun was crying while covering his face with his hands, he can't believe the only he has felt so much trusted is now left him. He was so attached to soobin within few days that he can't get it that the older has turn his back to him.

He was crying until he hears someone's footsteps coming towards him and stopped beside him, he sees a pair of heels as he slowly looks up to see Mihye standing beside him while looking down at him.

Judging by her expression yeonjun get it that Mihye has seen and heard all of it but she didn't say anything but She extends her hand towards yeonjun before softly mumbling, "let's go home, you need some time alone" .

At home

Mihye was sitting in the couch, constantly stealing glances at upstairs. Yeonjun didn't come out of his room since he reached home. She thought to give him some space but now she's really worried for him.

She takes a deep breath and gets up from the couch, making her way towards the upstairs to yeonjun's room. She softly knocks on the door, waiting for a response but she didn't get a response.

She takes another sigh before clearing her throat. "Yeonjun" she softly calls out, still no answer.

"Yeonjun, I know you hate me so much, but right now you are going through a lot, I can't leave you alone like this, can i come in?" She softly asks, her voice dripping with concerns.

She didn't get any response again so she thought to left because she thinks yeonjun is not ready to open up with her so she doesn't want to make things more messy. She turns and was about to left but then suddenly she hears the door crack open, revealing yeonjun standing there with fluffy eyes.

She stares at the younger as this view makes her heart sinks, she immediately wrap her arms around yeonjun, patting his back. Yeonjun didn't push her away, he needs someone at this moment. He hugged her and started to shed tears at her shoulder .

Time skip

Yeonjun was laying on mihye's lap who was softly stroking his hairs, after crying for hours now Yeonjun is tired and has no energy to cry so he just let his guard down.

"I still don't like you, but thanks for being here for me" yeonjun mumbled, staring at out the window at the lighting city.

"I know, but I just can't leave you alone like this" Mihye chuckle, didn't mind yeonjun's words.

"Why are you being like this? You know my family was ruined because Appa get married to you? How do you expect me to accept you" yeonjun said.

Mihye didn't answer him at first as she stared out the window while softly caressing yeonjun's hairs before taking a deep breath.

"There is a big reason behind it yeonjun, but your father doesn't want you to know it" she mumbled, making yeonjun get up from her lap and look at her.

"What reason?! What are you talking about-?" Yeonjun asks but Mihye didn't answer him. "You will know it later, when it's the time, right now you are already in a situation so I don't want you to get more worries, you should eat something now" Mihye avoided the question and yeonjun get it but he was tired so he didn't argue over it.

"I am not in mood to eat something now" he mumbled, looking down at his hands as Mihye nodded. "It's okay, you should sleep now then" she make yeonjun lay down and pulls the blankets over him.

"Sleep well" she turn off the lights and walk out of the room, making sure to close the door.

Yeonjun tossed to other side, his heart was still heavy for what happened earlier. He don't know what to do now, he wants to know why Soobin did this.
