Plan
THE COUPLE IS AT THE SOFA, Genevieve and Jasper are just cuddling while Edward is hearing his unborn child's thoughts, and Bella is talking to Charlie.
She wants to visit Charlie, but with the current situation with the wolves, she can't do that. She tried to do anything just to distract herself from her thirst.
She walked towards the kitchen to make Jacob, Seth, and Leah food. She pities them since they were betraying the pack, Jacob mainly for the girl he loved and her unborn child, Leah was, because he can't stand Sam any longer and joined Jacob to protect Seth.
She sees Carlisle, Esme, and Jacob enter Carlisle's study. She approached them and caught the door before it got closed.
"What's going on?" She asks the three. They glanced at each other and sighed, and let her in. Her eyebrows furrowed. She was confused about why they were having a private meeting.
Carlisle gives Jacob a blood bag for Bella to drink later in the day.
"Is that the last of it?" Jacob asks Carlisle.
The doctor nods, "Bella can deliver as early as tomorrow. If she has no chance at all, she'll need more blood," Carlisle informs him.
"And you need to feed. You have to be at your strongest for her. We need to go tonight," Esme says with determination.
"Carlisle, you're an enemy now. Sam won't hesitate. You will be slaughtered," Jacob warns and looks out the window.
"Emmett and Greyson will come with us," Esme tells him.
"That won't be enough," Jacob argues.
"I'll come with," Genevieve pipes up. The three look at her, and she just smiles.
"With me, you can hunt easily. We will have an advantage, and I can create an army of shadows," Genevieve says.
"You'll risk your lives for her?" Jacob asks and looks at them with disbelief.
"Isn't that obvious since James and the newborn army fiasco?" Genevieve tells him, and he rolls his eyes.
"Of course, we would. Bella's a part of our family now," Esme says.
"Yeah, I can see that," and he looks back at the window with a longing look on his face. "This really is a family. As strong as the one I was born into."
"I can run up to Seattle to get more blood bags. The hospital here in Forks is running out already, I'll help you guys hunt for a while, and then I'll go to Seattle so that Bella can have more blood for her delivery," Genevieve suggests.
"You need to hunt too, Gen," Esme tells her, and the two men nod.
"I'll hunt on the way, don't worry about me. The shadows got my back," Genevieve smirks.
"NO, ABSOLUTELY NOT, I DON'T AGREE WITH THIS PLAN," Jasper argues with his fiancé about going to Seattle and hunting with Carlisle, Emmett, Esme, and Greyson across the treaty line.
"Do you not trust your fiancé?" She asks him, eyeing the honey-blond.
"Of course I do with my life, but this is dangerous. The wolves will tear you to shreds without mercy," Jasper tells her as he paces back and forth in their room. She was getting the money ready to pay for the blood bags.
"I know that, but it's the risk I'm willing to take. This is also my family now, Jazz," Genevieve tells him softly.
"I'll come with you," Jasper says as he prepares himself.
"No, somebody needs to be in the house just in case the wolves attack. Once they see us hunt, they will take advantage of that opportunity."
"Bu-" Jasper starts, but she interjects, "No buts, you should be here. They will need an experienced fighter if ever it comes to a fight."
"You'll be alone when you go to Seattle," Jasper argues back.
"I won't, and I have the shadows remember?" She asks with a smirk while crossing her arms,
"So, do you have any more reasons?"
He huffs, "You'll leave me alone here with the girls. Alice will ask me about the wedding preparations. You can't let me deal with her alone."
"Hey! You can't use me as a reason," they hear Alice says downstairs. They chuckle.
They hear Carlisle's footsteps outside their bedroom door. He knocks. "Gen, we need to go."
Genevieve is about to open the door, but Jasper holds her wrist
"Just take care of yourself when you're out there, promise me?" Jasper asks her and pulls her into a hug, and kisses her forehead.
"I promise," she says and kisses him on the lips and smiles. "I love you."
"I love you too."
They walk outside and see Carlisle, Esme, Emmett, and Greyson waiting for them.
"Couldn't convince her?" Greyson smirks at Jasper, and he just sighs and nods.
"We need to go. Jacob's distraction is working, but there are still wolves patrolling around," Carlisle tells them.
Genevieve looks back at Jasper and smiles, and pecks him on the lips. The five vampires ran towards the woods, they were looking for animals to feed on, but it seemed the wolves killed them off, so they couldn't really hunt.
The wolves that were patrolling sensed them and started chasing them. Genevieve climbs the trees and jumps to the tree branches making it her pathway.
She creates a shadow, and the shadow just kicked the wolf into the ravine, so she gets down and starts to hunt. Emmett was beside her. They were looking for more animals for Carlisle since he would be the one who needed them most.
They ran for hours, and Carlisle only had an elk which wasn't enough for him since he hadn't hunted since Bella came home, which was four weeks ago. Genevieve picks up a rabbit and fed from it.
"Carlisle, I'll go now!" Genevieve shouted and parted ways with them and ran to Seattle, and she arrived with no problems so far.
She went to the hospital and bought some blood bags. As she was waiting for it, the shadows were warning her.
"Go home, NOW!"
"They need you."
"Bella."
She got out of the hospital, not caring for the blood bags anymore, and ran as fast as she could to their house.
As she was running, she heard Bella's scream with her enhanced hearing and forced herself even more, to run faster.
She barges in and sees Jasper at the corner of the room. The smell of blood invaded her senses.
She looks at him and speeds right in front of him, she places both of her hands on his face and kisses him passionately on the lips, and he gladly kisses back.
"Go outside. Take a breather. You're torturing yourself for staying inside," Genevieve tells him, and he nods and runs towards the balcony.
"Rosalie, don't!" She hears Edward yelling, and she runs towards just in time. Rosalie was about to attack, but she lunged at her and grabbed her neck.
"Control yourself," and pulled her outside, throwing her to the sofa, and then went back inside.
"You have to change her! Save her," Jacob yells to Edward, but they disagree.
"I can't, not while he's still in there. I got to get him out first," Edward says.
She sees Edward trying to get the baby out of Bella, but it is no use. The scalpel won't cut through.
"Bite it! Bite her skin! It's the only way the baby can come out," Genevieve tells him frantically and goes to Bella's side.
"Do it now," Bella yells at him, so he does. Bella's scream echoed throughout the house. It was truly horrifying.
"Bella, stay focused! Keep your heart beating!" Jacob encourages his best friend, while Edward sticks his hand inside her now-opened stomach.
Genevieve didn't know what to do. She has no experience with medical stuff, so all she can do is try to calm Bella down. Then she hears it, the cries of a newborn baby.
"It's Renesmee," Edward tells his wife and smiles.
"You're beautiful," Bella mutters, and Edward places Renesmee in Bella's chest as the new mother holds her daughter.
The three stood in the room watching Bella and her Renesmee, but Bella was still in pain. She reluctantly handed over the baby to Edward. She noticed that she wasn't moving anymore
"Bella," Jacob shook her body, but she wasn't responding.
"Jacob, take the baby," Edward instructs as he hands the baby to him. "Keep that thing away from me," Jacob spits out, eyeing the baby with disgust.
Rosalie approaches them and says that she is okay. Edward hesitantly gives her Renesmee.
Genevieve remembers that Edward stored his venom in a syringe and speeds towards the drawer and hands it to him.
"What is that?" Jacob asks her, and Edward injects the needle into her heart.
"It's his venom," Genevieve tells him, they stand there waiting for any kind of reaction or response, but there is nothing. Edward starts to do chest compression.
"It's supposed to be working!" Genevieve panics and looks at the two.
Jacob stood still, he was frozen. He was looking at Bella, his best friend who died at his watch. He turned to face Edward.
"I won't kill you. That will be too easy. You deserve to live with this," and walks away.
She looks at Edward, who is still doing chest compressions, trying to revive her, Genevieve just puts her hand on top of his, gesturing for him to stop, and she sighs.
"The wolves are coming," Edward tells her and looks back at his wife with a pained expression and looks back at Genevieve and nods.
