𝖛. Vacation

𝐂𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐅𝐈𝐕𝐄:
Vacation

AFTER MAKING SURE THAT IT IS OKAY FOR THEM TO GO ON VACATION, Jasper immediately packed their bags and booked a plane ticket to Germany, of course, just like Genevieve said to him that she wanted to revisit the country with him.

Genevieve made sure that they were researching legends for Renesmee's kind, she would surely miss the little hybrid, but this was the vacation that they both deserved after everything that happened.

"Are you guys really sure it's okay for us to go?" Genevieve asks them while placing her suitcase in the trunk of the car.

"We told you already, Gen, it's fine, or we will drag you to the airport ourselves," Greyson jokes and kisses her on the cheeks.

"Everything is already in place! I checked it, and it looked good. Nothing will go wrong," Alice exclaims and clasping both of her hands behind her back.

"Well, I'm glad nothing will go wrong. I want to relax for a month or two," Jasper says while starting up the car's engine.

"You will definitely enjoy Germany, Gen. Many things changed since the last time you went there," Alice tells her.

"And now I'll be with the love of my life, exploring the streets of Berlin," Genevieve says while walking up to Jasper, giving him a peck on the lips, and he just hums in contentment.

"Come on, darlin', let's say our goodbyes to Carlisle and Esme. I know you'll want to see Renesmee," Jasper says while intertwining his hand with hers as they walk up to the house.

Esme is the first one to approach the couple and gives them a motherly hug that Genevieve loves. "I'm going to miss you both. Call us when you get there."

"Sure thing Esme," Genevieve responds.

"Now, I will warn you two to be careful. I don't want you to pay a thousand dollars because of the damage you caused in a hotel room," Carlisle greets them.

"We can't exactly promise you that," Jasper tells him with a playful smirk.

"Auntie Gen!" A voice behind her exclaims.

"Hello, sweetheart," Genevieve says and carries the little hybrid, which looks like three years old even though she's just two weeks old.

"Where are you going?" Renesmee asks them.

"Well, we're going on vacation for a month or two," Genevieve answers her.

"Can I come?" She asks with pleading eyes.

"I'm sorry, Ren, but Uncle Jasper and I just need to spend time with just the both of us," Genevieve tells the girl while kissing her forehead.

"I'll miss you, Auntie, Uncle," Renesmee says.

"We'll miss you too, Ren," Jasper answers her.

"Off you both go. Jasper is getting impatient," Edward tells Genevieve with a chuckle.

"He just wants me all to himself," Genevieve says while winking at her mate.

"I'm not even denying that," Jasper says.

Jasper gently grabs Genevieve's wrist and pulls her outside, opening the passenger seat sidecar door for her like the true gentleman that he is, then he walks towards the driver's seat. Genevieve opened her window and waved goodbye to the family who was on the front porch.

HOURS WENT BY. They finally landed in Berlin, Germany. Jasper was comfortable the whole flight because they were seated in the business class of the plane, he was also glad that they decided to hunt before they got into the plane.

Genevieve the whole flight was buzzing in excitement, and Jasper could feel it too and couldn't help but be excited as she was, he was glad that his mate is happy.

"So where to first tour guide?" Jasper asks Genevieve.

"Jazz, I haven't been here for a very long time. If I'll tour you, we'll get lost," Genevieve says to him.

"Adds more to the adventure," Jasper shrugs and carries their luggage, and walks towards in an available cab.

"Hotel Adlon Kempinski Bitte," Genevieve says to the cab driver, and he nods and drives to the hotel.

They arrive at the hotel, and a bellhop immediately helps them with their luggage. They went to the front desk and were greeted by a front desk church.

"Raum für Whitlock," Jasper says to him, and the clerk nods and types away on his computer.

"Das Zimmer ist bereits online gebucht und bezahlt, ja?" The clerk asks, and Genevieve nods.

"Genießen Sie Ihren Aufenthalt, Mrs., and Mr. Whitlock," The clerk says and gives them the key to their room.

"Haben Sie einen schönen Tag und Vielen Dank für Ihren Service," Genevieve says and intertwines her hand with Jasper's.

"You speaking German is hot," Jasper compliments his fiancé.

"Why thank you, love," Genevieve says and pecks him on the lips as the bellhop guides them to the elevator with their luggage with him.

He guides them to their hotel room, which is on the tenth floor and at the end of the hallway.

Genevieve opens the door and is astonished at how big it is. She looks at Jasper with a broad smile spreading on her face.

"You really went all-in with our vacation," Genevieve says as she walks up to him and places her arms around his neck.

"It's a well-deserved vacation, darlin'," Jasper says with his oh-so-famous smirk.

"Let's see the view from the balcony," Genevieve says and drags Jasper towards the balcony. She is immediately greeted by the view of Brandenburg Gate.

"The last time I was here, they were rebuilding that," Genevieve says while leaning on the balcony railing.

"Let's take a stroll there later. When the sun sets, it's still a little sunny out," Jasper says as he hugs her from behind.

"Sure, love, let's enjoy our bedroom first?" Genevieve asks with a wink.

"We shall," Jasper says and speeds them inside.

THE SUN IS FINALLY SETTING, so the couple decided to head down and take a stroll in Brandenburg Gate.

"Take a picture of the place, love," Genevieve says while giving Jasper a camera, and so he does, but all of the pictures that he took were of Genevieve looking and observing the place, not the gate, just her. He really adores his mate.

They headed to Reichstag, which they learned is the home to one of the most impressive glass domes in the world.

They decided to head inside and stay at the top. They enjoyed the view of the streets while Jasper was taking pictures of her secretly.

"Can we go to the Holocaust Memorial? I want to pay my respects," Genevieve says to Jasper.

"Sure, darlin'," Jasper says.

They arrive at the Holocaust memorial, and they see many concrete slabs.

"We were here, you know after WWII ended. It was horrible, truly heartbreaking. We helped them as much as we could. Greyson helped to bury them while I helped at the hospital. I still remember them, the people who were skin and bones, and at the brink of death, he's a monster," Genevieve says as she brushes her fingers to the concrete tomb.

"I know, darlin' probably burning in hell," Jasper says.

"Greyson and I sent him death threats, you know. I remember sending him a human heart. That's why he hid in his little bunker, we planned to go after him, but the bastard already killed himself before we even got there."

"The shadows are going crazy here. Let's go," Genevieve says as she grabs Jasper's wrist and walks away.

Jasper wants to go to Berlin Cathedral Church so he can look at the architecture of the building, so Genevieve follows him.

It is a fantastic view at night, and she sits on the grass floor in front of the Church while Jasper takes pictures and sneaks photos of Genevieve.

"So we have two weeks here in Germany. Where should we go next?" Genevieve asks her mate, who sits down beside her.

"How about we try to explore every part of Europe? We're already in Germany, so that we can check that off the list," Jasper asks.

"That's easy. Can we start in England? Then we can go to Ireland?" Genevieve asks.

"Wonderful plan, darlin'," Jasper says while kissing her on the lips. They stayed there lying in the grass and taking pictures together, which Genevieve insisted on because she would put them in an album.

"I'll pay for our tickets to England. Should I book them now?" She asks.

"Sure thing, doll, we'll stay there for three weeks?" Jasper asks her, and she hums in response while booking their hotel and other activities that need booking and paying for it all online since they have money that can last for centuries.

For the past week, they have been exploring Germany. They actually took a train to Amsterdam that took 6 hours.

Jasper insisted on running though Genevieve convinced him it would only ruin the experience, so he reluctantly got on the train.

They explored the Anne Frank house, which fascinated Genevieve, she actually read the book, and it was very well written about how she lived her life in hiding for two years because of Hitler and the Nazi Party's treatment of Jews in Europe during the second world war.

Their trip to Germany was over, so they went to the airport to catch their flight to Portsmouth, England.
