YOU SUCCEEDED TO GET SONIC INTO THE CAR, he was currently screaming in fear as tails drove the three of you away from the red echidna and the doctor.

knuckles wasn't letting go of his mission, he was following you and you could see a red blur into the little driving mirror.

"he's not gonna stop" you commented, watching his face as he ran, and ran, and ran behind your police car.

"yeah, i don't think that he wants to be friends" added the blue hedgehog.

the yellow fox moved his head between the two of you "okay, let me just say, it is an honor to finally meet you, sonic."

"it is?" you asked, really confused about the situation.

the fox nodded in your direction before he turned back to the blue mobian "is it okay if i call you sonic? everyone calls me tails."

you slapped an hand over your face as you realized what was actually happening, you had told the fox everything about the hedgehog and he was now doing the part of the little brother who finally met his idol: his big sister's best friend

"you're probably wondering why." added tails.

"let me guess." sonic spoke sarcastically "because of the extra tail?"

your elbow hit his side and he bent over as he waited for you to give him an explanation for the extreme pain in his abdomen, your answer was a look that screamed talk-to-him-well-or-you-are-dead and he smiled a little scared.

"that's right!" the fox said happily and the hedgehog watched as a soft smile appeared on your face "i should've known you'd get that."

"cool!" he replied, forcing a smile "also, what is going on?!" sonic grabbed your shoulders shaking you a little "robotnik's back? and who is clifford the big red rage monster?!"

you grabbed his hand and you watched as the blue alien tried his best puppy eyes look, it didn't work and you twisted his wrists before you pushed him away from you.

"that's knuckles, [name] knows everything about that guy!" replied tails, laughing at the interaction.

"i do?"

"she does?"

"yeah, you don't remember?" his tone turned immediately into a worried one and you grabbed the side of your head, trying to see what you actually knew.

"i do now." at your words tails took a deep breath, relieved.

"he's the last of the echidnas, and one of the most dangerous warrior in the galaxy. the other one being me" you smirked at sonic and he rolled his eyes.

"you're lying, i could beat you right now." he teased, and you tilted your head.

"i already beat you, like a thousand times" you spoke back, crossing your arms over your chest.

"she's right, she's one of those warriors" confirmed tails, he sounded happy to be able to brag about your skills.

he sounded proud.

"but i'm not obsessed with finding the master emerald like this guy" you pointed behind your shoulder with your thumb, knuckles still following the police car.

"are you serious? the master emerald? that's just a bedtime story." sonic motioned with his opened palm, but when he saw how near your face it was he retreated his hand.

"well, he believes it's real" replied the fox "and he must think you are the key to finding it."

you looked at the open road in front of you and you heard your blue friend gasps near you "red light! red light! give me the wheel!" he tried to took the driving seat but you pushed his face back.

he crossed his arms over his chest as you inverted your seats with the yellow mobian, your hands gripped the driving wheel and your feet pushed on the accelerator.

you heard the other two aliens calling for your name, trying to get you to notice the gigantic bus coming right towards you.

but you pushed forward and before they knew it you swirled first to the right and then back to the left, saving yourselves from crushing against the truck.

"wohoo" shouted happily the fox at your side, his fists up in the air.

you used the little mirror to see that knuckles wasn't behind you anymore and the hedgehog noticed that too "i think we lost him." he sighed.

"don't say that!" you scolded him and he rolled his eyes "you know it's bad lu-" before you could finish your sentence knuckles dashed right through the back of the truck.

he leaped onte the top of the police vehicle, his fist punched into the car, creating a hole onto the roof.

the other two boys screamed their hearts out as you focused on driving, you moved the car to the sides, trying to make him fall.

"we did not lose him! we definitely did not lose him!" the hedgehog shouted as he gripped the seat.

their shouts doubled when you let go of the steering wheel to grab your gun, you recharged it before you took back the control of the car with one hand.

in the other you had the weapon, you aimed it towards the roof of the car.

you shoot a couple of times hoping that it was enough to make the red warrior jump off, instead he ripped the side door out, his hand trying to grasp inside of it.

you noticed a cliff just a couple of meters in front of you, and a strange though came up in your mind.

"i got a crazy idea, you trust me?" you shouted over the noises of knuckles punching the metal.

"of course not! you are driving towards a cliff!" answered back sonic, his high pitched scream echoing around.

"i do!" replied tails, the tremble in his tone made you doubt the trueness of his words but you didn't have time for that.

"good." your foot pushed against the accelerator, your eyebrows furrowed in concentration as you looked forward "tails, be ready."

"why?" screamed the hedgehog "what are you doing?!"

you drove the police car right off the edge, it started to fall down, the echidna still on top of the vehicle.

you kicked the blue mobian out of the car and the fox grabbed the both of you with his hands, using his double tail to fly.

the red alien tried to grasp your leg but you kicked him in the face and he let go, instead focusing on saving himself.

sonic kept his eyes closed, screaming until you jabbed his side, making him realize that he wasn't dying but he was just, floating.

he tried to look unfazed as you explained the obvious to him "we're flying."

he noticed the tails on the fox turning around "uh, did your butt just turn into a helicopter?" he questioned, almost worried.

the yellow mobian laughed out loud "a butt-copter!" he sighed "only sonic the hedgehog can come up with something like that."

you huffed out, annoyed by this sudden admiration towards the blue alien.

what did you expected?

you couldn't be his role model, you were dangerous, deadly, and that's to put it nicely; you were a killer.

and you couldn't even think about letting him idolize you, you didn't want that for him.

sonic was a hero, he had a pure heart.

this was good.

than why did your heart hurt so much?
