✧˖*° 𝕭𝗢𝗥𝗡 𝗜𝗡 𝗗𝗔𝗥𝗞𝗡𝗘𝗦𝗦, rising from nothing but gas and fragments, then shining so bright you can see it a million lightyears away before it finally returns to being stardust – this is the life cycle of a star.

What has this to do with us?

Simple. We are just the same as the stars, we follow the same path of birth, rise and rebirth.

Neira Alberya has once been a rising star, but the cruel world has dimmed her light, broken her dreams and keeps her caged behind a mask that isn't her true self. Words are forged onto the this lonely star's surface, and they will leave scars behind: Always hide your feelings. Put on your mask. With her mother being a member of the council that rules her homeplanet cevarya and Neira the one to succeed her path, she has to watch every step.

The only person she can rely onto is her mother, and together they try what no one has dared before: to overthrow the council of cevarya. Maybe it is fate, maybe it is chance that of all jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi is sent to investigate on that matter.

This is Neira Alberya: stone-cold and calculating, enemies as countless as the jewels in her silk hair, dark lipstick shimmers when she smiles while a part of her is suffocating, drowning – a part that just wants to leave it all behind, a part that hasn't given up yet.

Because it's a stars destiny to rise. And so she will. When a certain Jedi knight is sent to her planet, he shatters her world, leaving cracks in her facade she cant fix anymore. And with every word they exchange, every smile, her facade trembles down more and more, leaving her in deepest conflict.

✧˖*°  𝕬𝗡𝗗 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗦𝗘 𝗔𝗥𝗘  the stars to crash down: Neira Alberya and Obi-Wan Kenobi, a liar and a Jedi, a woman who has lost her morals and a man sworn to protect it. So different and yet their souls are the same. They are playing a dangerous game, these two: Neira is catching feelings she thought she never would and he has found the person responsible for all the schemes without realizing it. And together they crash down, falling and flying, the supernova that their encounter has been enlightening the sky. Intertwined from the moment they have met, gravitating to each other and leaving only one possible outcome: the finale, the cataclysm in which the star dies.

Because we forget that stars also die one day. Their light will fade, the last trembling breath will leave their lips and they will return to being stardust again. Neira and Obi-Wan are on two different sides of history, separated by who they are, united by what they feel. There is no rest and no mercy for them in times like these.

And so the light fades as darkness settles in:

They fall through burning skies, in raging war, hot laser slicing through burned air, fallen corpses, graveyards of rusty ships are a reminder of those so glorious battles, fighting, fighting, fighting, the pain, the death that never ends, loved ones fade before their eyes, gunshots shake the world, a war of hot red inferno flames, raging and raging-

Stop.

Everything comes to a halt, and the darkness lifts.

The world stops spinning as she cups his face with her hands and says:

"We are stars."

He nods. "And to the stars we will go."

Stars can be reborn and there will be light again.

And so they find each other in war and peace, in battles and the silence after the storm, again and again. She looks at him and he looks at her, on a desert planet, under sunsets, in spaceships, on the planet that is her home, on planets that are torn apart by war and under the stars.

The life cycle of a star. Birth. Death. Rebirth.

Because darkness is where stars are reborn, and new light can emerge in the darkest days, when all hope is lost. And so their love burns through the skies, through the fabric of the world, tearing the darkness apart until they reach the stars.

Will their flame die?

We don't know yet.

But, oh, how hard it is to fall in love in raging times like these.
