Episode 2.2 - Paradox

"Y-You are not alone... Y-You are not alone... You are not alone... My name is General Kal-El. I come from a world far from yours. I have journeyed across an ocean of stars to reach you. For some time, your world has sheltered one of my own. I request that you return this special individual to my custody. For reasons unknown, she has chosen to keep her existence a secret from all of you. She will have made efforts to blend in. She will look like you, but she is not one of you. To those of you who may know of her current location: the fate of your planet rests in your hands. To Ari-El my dearest daughter, I say this: surrender within 24 hours or watch this world suffer the consequences."
I had watched the broadcast message in the Cortex with all my friends and Eobard as we were in utter shock and horror. I couldn't believe all of this madness was happening because I decided to save my mother from a sad painful demise.
"What are we going to do, Barry?" Sophia asked.
"We could try and stop Kal-El from terraforming the earth but I'm not at full strength just yet," I answered somberly.
"What about you, Thawne?" Sophia asked.
"I'm not ready to fight either, Sophia. We don't even have enough speed to break the time barrier. Which at least one of us needs to do so that we can fix this damn mess." Eobard stated evidently.
"Perhaps another speedster is co-opting the speed force which is keeping you two from accessing enough energy to time travel." Dr. Stein theorized out loud.
"Newsflash, Stein. But there hasn't been another speedster in this world other than Sophia and her evil counterpart Eliza," Linda said.
"Well, something or someone is deliberately preventing me from changing things back to the way they were," I said slightly agitated.
"It could be the Speed Force," Eobard spoke getting the attention of everyone including myself.
"What's the Speed Force?" Patty asked intrigued.
"It's a cosmic force of nature based on velocity and movement. It's also what is the source of Barry's power and makes him a speedster." Eobard explained.
"Wait what about your speed? Where does that come from?" Eddie asks.
"Uh, well, it used to come from the same place that being the Speed Force but due to some personal stuff that I rather not get into right now it then instead came from another force. I call it the Negative Speed Force."
"Ah, so that's why your lighting is red. I always thought that was an aesthetic choice." Iris comments.
I nodded and continued to speak. "Yes, I do love the color red. Anyway, the Speed Force could be meddling with you and me, Barry. Maybe it doesn't want us to leave just yet and it could be trying to teach us a lesson. After all, we're the ones who broke time as it's very sacred. That's a huge offense and one that needs to be punished for." Eobard explained.
"Then we are so totally screwed." Dr. Stein comments.
I sighed tiredly and rubbed my face. "Okay, New plan. We have to go and find Ari-El before Kal-El does."
"And how do we do that, Skechers?" Ronnie asked in a teasing tone.
I then glanced toward the CEO of Ramon Industries who was slurping a cherry slushie seated in his leather chair with not a care in the world.
"Cisco!" I called out trying to get his attention.
"That's Mr. Ramon to you," Cisco said lightly scolding as he continued to drink his frosty beverage.
"Yeah, whatever, look Mr. Ramon. Can you hack into the U.S. government database
for us?"
"Well of course I can. They don't call me Smarty Pants Ramon for nothing."
"No one calls you that, Babe." Iris teased.
Cisco chuckled amused and asked. "Why do you need me to do that sort of thing anyway?"
"Well In my new memories of this timeline, I saw something. A meteor heading towards Earth and hitting a small town... But it wasn't Smallville."
"Russia, about 25 years ago," Batwoman stated.
"The same day Superman's rocket crashed landed in our reality, Barry," Eobard concluded.

E O B A R D
Barry and I had decided to split up the team as he had gained another new memory from this altered time. Seemingly there's a hooded figure cladded in green killing people off from his hit list. Barry started to suspect immediately that it could be his old friend Mr. Queen who was at it again. So he and his team went to Russia on a rescue mission for Supergirl while my team consisting of Sophia and Linda went over to Star City to pay a visit to Mr. Queen.
"I always thought that the Arrow was a myth. I can't believe we're going to truly meet him," Sophia said excitedly running through the dynamic bright streets of Star City.
"Yeah, me too. No one has been able to catch a glimpse of this vigilante and we'll be the first ones to get to see him." Linda said hovering over the city skyline.
"So ladies any sign of the Arrow yet?" I asked.
"Not from what we can see," Sophia said over the comms.
"Why are we looking for him again anyway, Eobard?" Linda asked.
"Because he could be of great use to us in stooping Kal-El's villainous plan and besides in Barry's time he was also a fellow friend," I explained to them.
"Oh, I doubt that. I've met Oliver Queen up close and personal. The guy is a total jackass trust me." Linda said.
"Ooo I didn't know you were into billionaire duchbags like Oliver Queen." Sophia teased.
"Well, a girl can quite easily fall head over heels for a man when he buys you the whole world, Sophia," Linda said which earned a giggle from the female speedster.
"And besides that was just a phase. My tastes have changed quite a bit in the last few years." Linda added.
"And does that include you constantly peeping at a certain blonde detective?" Sophia teased.
Linda blushed and smirked. "Which one though? Because we have two blonde hotshots on the team remember? Though I wouldn't mind dating both of them at the same time."
Sophia gasped and then giggled along with her friend. "Linda! You naughty girl!"
"Alright quit gossiping ladies. We're on a mission here remember." Eobard scolded lightly.
Then my team and I heard a loud commotion coming from near one of the rooftops of Queen Casino.
"Speak of the devil..." Linda spoke out enthusiastically.
Sophia and I quickly ran in a flash then halted to a quick stop and saw from a distance the green-hooded figure in question-fighting another dark-hooded figure. The fight between the archers looked brutal to observe as both of them weren't holding anything back.
Arrow after arrow was being shot from their quivers until there were none left to shoot and then it quickly turned into a good old-fashioned brawl. A few intense moments passed as the green-hooded figure got the upper hand and ended the brawl. He grabbed the dark-hooded figure by the collar and took off its hood revealing a redheaded green-eyed woman in her mid-20s. The green-cladded figure also took off its hood glaring at her foe revealing to us not Oliver Queen but a young brown-eyed brunette.
Linda gasped in shock and spoke. "That's not Oliver..."
"No. It's sure as hell, not Oliver Queen. That is none other than Thea Queen. Oliver Queen's little sister." I said matter of factly and raised a brow perplexed by this timeline's rather unusual events.
If Thea is the Green Arrow then that must mean Oliver is either alive living a normal life or is unfortunately dead in this universe perhaps dying on the Queen's Gambit many years ago.
"Where is Overwatch, Cupid?!" They demanded her voice dangerously high steeped with anger and a hit of frustration.
The redheaded vigilante grinned and eyed the female hero playfully. "I don't know. Beats me, Robin Hood."
"Wrong answer bitch!" Thea exclaimed and then stabbed Cupid in her right leg with one of her sharp arrows.
Cupid groaned in pain at the awful sensation running through her body. But still, she didn't waver and smiled through the pain her teeth clenching with blood. Sophia stepped forward wanting to break up the unsettling interrogation but I spread my arm out stopping her and letting the scene unfold.
"Let's try that again now shall we? Where the hell is Overwatch, Cupid?! Tell me where that goth bitch is hiding at this time while you can still talk." Thea threatened.
"Ooo, it's on the tip of my tongue..." Cupid taunted.
Thea smirked and pulled out an extraction tool from her utility pouch that was on her hip as she menacingly put it close to the villain's face.
"Funny girl let me help you get it off then."
Linda who was hovering above us watching the interrogation cringed and turned to look away.
"Uh, I think I'm gonna barf..." Linda whispered.
While Cupid gasped in utter shock and watched as Thea dragged the sharp metal object across her goggles scratching it.
"District Attorney Laurel Lance was kidnapped last night. Where did she take her?" Thea questioned and raised the helpless baddie into the air.
"Look even if I did know where Felicity had taken her. It wouldn't do you any good, Arrow. She's probably already dead by now."
The Arrow scoffed and then responded. "Then so are you..."
Cupid's eyes widened in shock as she was immediately thrown off the ledge and dropped helplessly into the depths of the city.
"Aah!" Cupid exclaimed in fear closing her eyes shut while her prone body was mere moments from hitting the pavement below.
"I've got you," Sophia said and scooped Cupid up into her arms landing safely on the floor.
Cupid opened her eyes and saw her savior immediately planting Lady Flah with kisses. "Lady Flash? Oh, thank you. I surrender to you."
"Smart girl. Now let's get you to a nice cell away from the big bad Arrow." Sophia said smiling and flashed her away to safety.
I stepped forward out of the shadows and raised my voice angrily. "That was uncalled for, Arrow. You could have killed her. That's not what heroes do."
Arrow turned around to face me and Linda as she then snorted out a chuckle. "It beats the old way of doing things that's for sure. If I take them off to jail they will only break out and cause trouble all over again which puts innocent lives in danger."
"There is always another way, Thea," Linda advised and hovered down to the ground.
"Yeah well I've tried doing it that way for a long time and it didn't work at all. It cost me everything but now I know what I must do. So please don't lecture me about how to do things around here. This is my city, not yours."
"You know I used to believe that too once many centuries ago. But then someone special came into my life and put me on a different path showing me how to handle things a different way the right way. Because once you start killing in due time slowly you will become just like the very bad guys that you have been fighting with your whole life and then you do something that you will regret for the rest of your but it's too late to ever go back as you'll succumb yourself to the madness. Believe me, I know what I'm talking about." Eobard spoke softly and sincerely.
Thea removed her mask and tossed it aside. "It already is too late for me. I'm just too broken to be fixed."
The Arrow then aimed her quiver at us and was about to shoot her poison-tipped arrow.
"So just get out of my way and let me pass through before I bring a world of hurt onto you."
"Easy there, Ms. Queen. We aren't looking for a fight." I said and carefully raised my hand into the air giving the signal.
"Thea, you don't have to do this. There is always a choice. You still have time to change your ways here and now." Linda pleaded with her.
Suddenly Sophia flashed onto the scene and shoved Thea to the ground hard while also disarming her swiftly.
"Nuh-uh. Not so fast, Arrow." Sophia said.
"So you're the one who saved Cupid. You should have let her hit the pavement." Thea spoke and got back up to her feet
"You shouldn't have thrown her." Sophia retorted.
"She slipped," Thea stated with an evil grin.
"She's crazy, Eobard. Her help is something we do not need." Linda said disgusted by Thea's behavior.
Thea raised a brow confused by those people. "Who are you guys?
"We are heroes from Central City. My name is Linda Park. And these are my friends Sophia Allen and Eobard Thawne." Linda answered.
"Linda Park? You used to date my brother Oliver before he passed."
Linda nodded and smiled a bit. "Yes, we weren't official or anything but we did have an on-and-off-again relationship. I'm sorry for your loss I didn't know about his passing."
"Thank you. He was a great brother. One that I miss so much and it hurt even more because of how I left things with him as we got into a huge fight about my crusade. I just wish it didn't end like that and that I could tell him how I felt about him and that I loved him." Thea spoke with tears forming in her eyelids.
Linda stepped forward and hugged her which Thea reciprocated. "He knew. You didn't have to say it to for him to know that you did, Thea."
"Poor kid. She has been through a lot." Sophia whispered to me.
I nodded in agreement. "Hopefully Barry and I can fix the damn timeline and return everything to the way it was before it's too late."
Thea Queen sniffed as she wiped her tears and spoke up. "So what do you guys want with me?"
Sophia sighed relieved with a smile as she and I then took off our cowls showing Thea our faces. "We need your help to save the world from certain extinction."
"From who? Aliens?" Thea asked.
"Yes, Kryptoniams to be exact as they had broadcasted their message worldwide on TV hours earlier and are looking to invade planet Earth," Eobard explained.
"So will you help us?" Linda asked.
Thea nodded her head in agreement as she put back on her green mask and hoodie. "Hell yeah, I'm in. Aliens you have failed this world."

"Yes, Cait. Everything is okay. You don't have to worry about I'm fine." Barry spoke into his earpiece riding in the passenger seat of the Batplane.
"I know, Bear. I just worry about you sometimes that's all. And besides it is my job to know where my handsome husband is at all times." Caitlin spoke over the phone teasingly and was nursing their newborn baby boy giving him milk from her nipple.
Barry chuckled and spoke. "Well, you are my doctor after all. So how's our baby boy doing?"
"Doing well, Babe. He's healthy and happy. Just misses his father."
"I promise that I'll be home soon. It's just that a longtime friend in Russia needs my help. She going through some and well I can't let her suffer anymore."
"I understand, Barry. Go and be her hero. Your family will be here when you get back."
Barry smiled sadly and felt a lump in his throat as he had kept Caitlin in the dark all this time and didn't want her and his family's life endangered. He honestly didn't know if this was a goodbye or a see you later because everything could change for them forever and who knows what the future would bring for the couple.
"Caitlin?"
"Yes, Barry?"
He felt tears roll down his cheek and smiled sadly. "You know that I love you right?"
Caitlin smiled hearing that and beamed. "Of course, Bear. You say that to me every morning when I wake up. How can I forget."
"I just wanted you to know that once last time before I—" Barry bit his tongue.
"Before what, Barry?"
Barry didn't say anything for a few seconds as he cleared his throat and spoke up again. "Before I leave for Russia. You know I don't like flying in these deathtraps."
"Oh, Barry. Don't be afraid. I promise I'll be there for you when you get back home okay? And so will our kids too."
"How do you know?"
"Because I have faith and believe that everything will turn out okay in the end. You'll see Barry."
Brette and Bree begin to cry getting the attention of their mother. "Oh no. I hate to hang up like this Babe but our children need me. Just call me back when you land okay Barry? Hold on Momma's coming."
"Of course, Snowflake. No worries and take care of them for me while I'm gone. I love you so much and the kids too."
"I love you too, Teddy Bear. And the kids adore their father very much. Bye,"
"Bye..."
The phone call is hung up and there is silence. Batwoman spoke up breaking the tension. "You didn't tell her?"
"I couldn't. How could I tell her that everything we have here is fake and a lie that I created something beautiful just for it to be taken away? No, I couldn't bear witnessing her heartbreak. It's best that I just kept her in the dark. Once we do what needs to be done she won't remember any of this."
Batwoman nodded in understanding and kept her view on the skyline while steering the Batplane as Firestorm flew beside us leaving a trail of fire also tagging along to rescue the captured Kryptonian Ari-El.
"We're here. I can see the Russian base and It's heavily guarded." Firestorm informed them.
"That won't be a problem for us. Firestorm take the lead and causes a distraction for us up front while Barry and I then enter the base from another entry point." Batwoman ordered.
"Copy that. I'll give you guys the signal then you two can do your thing." Firestorm said and flew past them to the Russian base first.
Moments later a huge explosion caught the attention of the Russian guards who were patrolling the gates in front of the base and they quickly went over to check out the loud commotion. Firestorm's clever idea was to shoot random blasts of fire at large metal barrels filled which were filled with gasoline as they had been scattered around the military base unkept.
"That's our cue," Batwoman said.
"Yeah, time to kick some Russian ass," I exclaimed rather enthusiastically.
"Activating hover mode..." the automated voice spoke.
"Hover mode?" I asked confused.
Batwoman quickly pressed another flickering button that was on her control panel. "Enjector seats on."
Then the seats from the cockpit of the Batplane lowered and Batwoman's seat swiveled to face me and she grinned teasingly.
"You aren't really afraid of heights right, Barry?" Batwoman asked.
I gulped nervously and smiled. "Of course not. I love flying." I said lying through my teeth.
"Okay well just to give you a quick heads up, Barry. I don't even have parachutes on the Batplane unfortunately. So you'll just have to use your powers to ease your fall." Batwoman said with a smile still plastered across her face.
"Wait what? No parachutes ." Barry's eyes widen in shock and saw Batwoman holding the ejection button.
"In 3..."
"No wait, Harleen. Don't do this," Barry protested.
"2..."
"Okay. Okay. I admit it I'm afraid of
HEIGHTS—" Barry confessed in fright but was still ejected from his seat.
Batwoman chuckled humorously and pushed her ejection button as she glided down below toward the military base using her cape while Barry came falling from the sky with no parachute or so he thought.
"Holy Crap! Oh, I'm going to die! Harleen!" Barry exclaimed.
Then moments later a parachute did deploy in time as Barry held onto the suspension lines for dear life and fell into the snowy plains somewhat gently. On the other hand, Batwoman landed on the ground with style and without a single scratch on her as she giggled at her friend's expense. Barry spit out snow and looked up at Harleen upset.
"That was so not cool, Harleen," Barry said getting back up with his friend's help.
"Oh come on, Speedster. What's the big deal with having a little fun?"
"Well, first off it was at my expense. We'll see how you like it when I get you back one of these days." I said rolling my eyes and began to warm myself up by vibrating my entire body as it was really cold where we were at currently.
"Point taken, Bear. But you sure did fall for it pretty easily. I mean did you think that I would be dumb enough to not put parachutes into my Batplanes? Do you even know how many I've destroyed in the past few years?"
"More than a hundred I'm guessing," Barry responded and dusted himself off.
Harleen nodded in confirmation and explained. "Exactly, Flash. Oh, come on you have to admit that it was pretty funny. After all, I was a former clown and can't help to prank my fellow friends once and a while."
Barry thought about it mulling for a few moments and then began to chuckle himself admitting defeat.
"Okay. I admit it. Congrats Harleen that was actually a funny prank that you just pulled on me."
"Yes! The queen of pranks still reigns supreme." Harleen said victoriously doing a little dance.
I shook my head smiling at her antics when then our earpieces began to bing loudly as we had gotten an alert from Firestorm.
"Hey, good news. I've found our Kryptonian prisoner as our Superwoman is in the lower levels of the prison." Ronnie informed.
"Good job, Ronald. Stay with her in the meantime. We'll meet you there with her in ten." Batwoman spoke.
"Understood. But hurry okay she's in a very weak state right now and I don't know if she'll make it through." Ronnie spoke and hung up.
"What did they do to her?" I pondered out loud horrified by the news.
"Well from the looks of this heavily armored militaristic prison, I'd say that she was experimented on by these people presumably since her coming to Earth many years ago." Batwoman hypothesized while they both walked further down below into the bunker of the Russian base.
"That sounds horrible. How could they do something so evil to an innocent girl like that? It makes no damm sense."
"The world is very cruel, Barry. Sometimes bad things happen to us and we don't know why they happen. We just learn to live with it and get past it the best way we know how. But that's life for you I guess. One cruel sick joke." Batwoman spoke grimly.
"You're sounding like The Joker right now, Harleen." I joked while flashing a small smile.
"The Joker? I haven't heard that name in a long time." Batwoman said.
"What happened to him?" I asked curiously wanting to know what he did to his greatest enemy.
"Let's just say I finally got the guts to do what was necessary to protect my beloved city of Gotham," Batwoman spoke while we sneakily walked through the dirty and dimly lit hallways of the dungeon.
"Wow. You really aren't anything like my Batwoman." I expressed still in awe of this universe and its history.
"No shit, Sherlock," Batwoman responded.
We then quickly stopped dead in our tracks as we had just been spotted by the Russian guards who took deadly aim at us. Acting fast on my feet I then acted first and flashed myself and Batwoman away from the oncoming danger.
Harleen looked at me for a few seconds unamused and spoke weakly while clutching her stomach. "Good one, Allen."
Harleen then proceeded to throw up all over the floor and I took a few steps back cringing upon seeing that. "Sorry, Bats. I sometimes forget about the whiplash."
Lethal rounds of gunfire then proceeded to fire on command as I quickly caught the bullets in mid-air and disarmed the Russian guards.
"He's faster than a speeding bullet." A Russian exclaimed fearfully.
I raised a brow confused not understanding them and spoke. "Yeah, whatever you say, Ivan Drago." And then I proceeded to knock out the bad guys.
Batwoman stood up while wiping her mouth and groaning. "Geez, Barry. Give this gal a fair warning the next time you want to try out another magic trick."
I patted her back and smiled. "There. There. You'll be okay, Harleen."
"Cut that out, Barry," Batwoman said as she swatted my hand away and I chuckled.
"Sorry. Anyway, let's go. I feel that we're very close." I said and walked forward with Batwoman quickly following behind.
We saw the destruction left behind by Firestorm as he blasted his way through the secured gates of Supergirl's enclosure and was now holding her in his arms bridal style under bright red lights.
"Oh my god. That's Ari-El..." I spoke utterly shocked by the bad state that she was in as Ari-El also had wings looking like an angel from heaven.
Batwoman stepped forward and took a closer look at the alien woman. "So this is supposed to be the most powerful woman on earth? I can't believe this."
"She looks so frail and sickly..." Ronnie spoke.
Batwoman examined Ari-El's condition and sighed. "It's not looking so good. She's breathing very shallowly and her pulse is very slow."
"It's because of the red sunlight in the room. It depowers her in short bursts but it can also kill a Kryptonian if exposed to it for long periods. Ari-El needs the sunlight." I explained with a sorrowful expression.
"Then what are we doing just standing around then we need to get her out of here now," Ronnie said.
"Agreed, Ronnie. But how do we do that? Because I don't think there's a way out of this prison. We're deep in the underground bunkers." I said.
Batwoman then glanced at her surroundings and found the control panel of the spacecraft which was the same Spacecraft that Superwoman had arrived on Earth many years ago.
"Do you think that you can drive this thing, Bats?" I asked.
"I don't know but we don't really have much of a choice now do we." Batwomaresponded and began to turn on the knobs and press the button in the spacecraft.
"Well, we better get going then, Batwoman. Because we have company." Ronnie said gesturing to the oncoming danger.
Russian guards then began to swarm onto the scene and exclaimed angrily as they surrounded the alien spacecraft.
Ari-El muttered some words weakly in Kryptonian while holding onto Ronnie half unconscious.
"What's she saying?"
"Beats me I don't speak Kryptonian."
"Neither do I. Barry take care of the guard while I try to turn on this spaceship." Batwoman ordered.
"On it, Red," I responded and quickly took off in the other direction taking on the Russian guards.
Batwoman somehow got the alien spaceship to work and turn on as the engine roared. "Everyone on board now!"
I punched a final goon in the face and dashed toward the flying vehicle as it began to lift off the ground. Ronnie carefully laid Ari-El upright against the spacecraft wall and went to Batwoman who was flying the vehicle.
"Need help?" He asked.
"Yeah, give me some of your flames this puppy needs more juice."
Ronnie's hands lit up and he slammed his fist into the side of the control panel as the system ignited and the spacecraft took off successfully into the sky. But the happy times didn't last for us as were still being chased by the Russians.
"They sure don't give up huh, Bats?" I spoke up upon seeing from the window the Russians shooting at the spacecraft.
"Incoming!" I warmed and took cover as the Russians had now used heavy artillery via missiles. An explosion erupted as the missile hit our spacecraft causing engine failure.
"We're hit! Coming down fast!" Batwoman spoke trying to keep the spacecraft afloat.
"Where's Ari-El?! She not here!" Ronnie spoke up while simultaneously bracing for impact.
But the crash didn't happen as Ari-El had come to the rescue and caught her spacecraft in the air from plummeting to the ground saving us in the process. She then gently set us back down onto the snowy ground and turned to look at the sun shining brightly in the sky while hovering just a few inches off the ground above us while her wings flapped in the air. Ari-El smiled absorbing the sun's rays and saw us getting out of the spacecraft groggily.
"F-Friends?" Ari-El asked curiously.
I nodded and smiled back at her warmly. "Yes, we're your friends. What those animals did to you was horrible and they're taken care of." I spoke in a gentle voice and offered my hand to her. "Now come down, please. Don't worry, Ari-El. Everything will be okay. I promise."
Ari-El lowered closer to the ground and was about to reach out to us when then the Russian soldiers once again barged in and began to fire rounds of gunfire at us. Batwoman screamed in pain as she was shot in the arm and grasped at it falling to the floor.
"Harleen!" I exclaimed and flashed to her. "Are you okay?"
"I'll live, Barry," Batwoman spoke painfully.
Ari-El then growled and glared at the remaining Russian soldiers persisting to keep the fight going.
"S-Stop hurting my friends!" Ari-El yelled angrily and pounced on them as a predator would do with its prey.
Ari-El cleared the field of unwanted trash and fought the Russian soldiers roughing them up in the process still not used to her great strength and speed. She even kicked the last remaining bad guy in the stomach and he flung across so many yards that his body landed near a snowy mountain top.
"Wow. Now that's a game-winning field goal." Ronnie commented.
Ari-El features softened on her face as she smiled upon seeing us again. "Friends safe..." And then Ari-El was out like a light and fell onto the snowy white landscape tiredly.
C A I T L I N
I had just finished cooking dinner for myself and my children and I was now cleaning the dishes while Bree was getting ready for bed. Brett on the other hand was already asleep in his crib and I smiled to myself. Being a mother was such hard work but also very rewarding as I would do anything for my kids whom I love so much. Once finished with the chores for tonight I then went upstairs to get ready for bed myself as I did hear some strange noises coming from my bedroom.
"Barry? Is that you? Since when did you get back so soon?" I asked while standing in the doorway.
I didn't get a response from him as I saw him sitting at the edge of the bed in the dark and sighed tiredly not paying attention to that while also beginning to undress.
"It's okay, Bear. You don't have to answer me. I bet you've had a long day. Well so did I and you're not gonna be live what happened..." I began to rattle off telling him how my day went.
I put on a blue silk nightie and then went over to my man as I straddled his hip and planted a few kisses on his lips which he tenderly returned while grabbing my behind. I moaned a little feeling the stress begin to fade away and smiled.
"I've missed you so much, Babe. Mmm, I need you now," I whispered into his ear in a sultry sexy voice.
I didn't get a response from him again and grew frustrated sighing again. "Earth to Barry? Talk to me, please. Did I do something wrong, Baby?" I asked him and then reached out to turn on the light from the lamp.
I then gasped in utter shock and backed away from him fearfully as to what was going on here. "Y-You're not my Barry."
The tall blonde man with blue eyes stood up from the bed and smirked at me maliciously. "Correct, Mrs. Allen. I'm not Barry Allen. I'm better than him in every way imaginable."
"Who are you then? And what do you want with him and my family?" I asked timidly and was backed up against my dresser as he walked dangerously closer to me.
"Oh, Caitlin. Don't act so dumb now. You're one of the most brilliant minds on this earth You of all people should remember me. Come on Dr. Wells? Head of Star Labs? Well, what about this my name is Eobard Thawne and I am the Reverse Flash."
I shook my head in denial. "I don't know what you're talking about. I don't know who you the fuck you are."
The blonde man sighed annoyed and spoke up a hand across his face smiling. "That stupid idiot. He time travel and changed something big. That's why you don't remember me and this world isn't the same as the one before because I'm in a different timeline that he created."
I had no idea what he was rambling on about and carefully inched closer to a pair of scissors that were on the dresser once I got them I hid them behind my back and played dumb.
"What did my husband change?" I asked.
"I don't remember. The only thing that I can remember was him capturing me and sending me to prison for a long time."
"Is that why you are here? To get you're revenge and hurt him? Hurt my family?"
He nodded and smirked once again evilly. "Yes, I remember now. He stopped me from doing something so horrifying that it would ruin his life forever. But he won't stop me anymore because I'm free from my bondage and I will stop at nothing to complete my mission of hurting him and his loved ones."
I glared at him and spoke with anger. "Sounds like he got the best of you, Eobard. If you try again maybe you'll just fail like you always do. Because I know my Barry and he won't ever quit fighting for us as long as he still has breath in him to keep going. He won't quit and I won't quit fighting either."
In one swift motion, I then swung the sharp weapon toward his face and tried to hurt him. But Eibard saw that coming a mile away and grabbed my forearm.
"Ah. Ah. Ah. Dr. Snow. That was a very dumb move you just pulled from such a smart woman and now you're gonna pay the price for that." Eobard spoke and in an instant broke my arm dropping the weapon.
I yelled out in excruciating pain and fell to my knees as the children awoke from that loud noise and began to cry. Tears streamed down my face as I began to cry overwhelmed.
"H-How did you do that?" I questioned him through tears and sniffed as he moved so fast like a blur.
"You mean you don't know? Oh, Barry. Keeping your wife in the dark like that. So incredibly stupid of you." Eobard said and tsked.
Eobard then yelled at my children. "Quiet! Uncle Eobatd is trying to think over here!"
I felt so helpless in this state and couldn't do anything to defend myself but only cry for a hero to come and save me.
Then his gloved yellow hand wiped away my tears and he stared at me. "Shhh don't cry anymore, Cait. Uncle Eobard won't hurt you anymore. Your children will be safe I can assure you that much. And as for you well I still need you alive for my plan to work. So hush now little Snowflake. It's time to have some fun." Eobard spoke gently and then kissed me forcefully. I weakly slammed my closed-up fists against his shoulders a few times and tried to break free from his advances but to no success.
"That's a good girl, Caitlin. Let's go ahead and see that Frosty side of yours now, shall we? It's been long overdue ..." Eobard responded.
"As you wish, Eobard," Caitlin spoke.
Then in an instant, her autumn brown hair and tan skin began to change as she transformed herself into her secret alter ego. Her skin turned pale white and her hair turned white like snow with blue lips and crystal blue eyes.
A chill in the air followed by fog then began to fill the bedroom and Eobard smirked like a proud papa.
"Hello, my name is Killer Frost,"
