— Shopping, dining at a fast food restaurant and sampling everything new on the menu, discovering new stores that showcase the latest brands and trends. Going to see the latest movie with family and friends or maybe even a romantic evening. That is what star court is all about, the brand new mall that has arrived in Hawkins, where everyone is constantly buzzing around to view the Latest advertisement.

Others, however, disagree with the brand-new mall, which stands out for everyone and is easily accessible, just like the stores they had before. Why did they need to construct a big fancy mall that gleams brighter than the sun when they already had everything they required?

Kathleen Munson was not thrilled to be dragged into the mall by her cousin to eat ice cream until a certain employee grabs her attention. She still despises the horrible mall, but someone makes it all worth it.

When a curly-haired child begins to investigate a mysterious radio call in the mall, Kathleen is lured into a fast-paced adventure. Featuring a former king, a nerd, a demanding girl, and a rebellious girl with a kind heart.

Kathleen realised...perhaps she had been correct about the mall after all.

Kathleen is a lesbian, and whether it's canon or not, I'm include Eddie Munson as gay because I can, and if you don't like that, this is not the book for you. As I go along, I give people their own storylines as I see fit because I enjoy incorporating background characters into the tale for my own fun and, hopefully, the enjoyment of others. I adore the Scoop crew, so of course I included Kathleen in the mix, because why not? I also wanted her to be near to Steve, Dustin, and sooner rather than later Max Mayfield. I just think their relationship in act two is very sweet. Kathleen and Robin's relationship is the type that begins slowly but gradually improves. That's it, like a slow-burn, but I'm not going to stretch it out forever. This is not the case with this book. That one is in my other book of bizarre things.
