Kathleen hurried towards the cart that Dustin and Erica had apparently stolen earlier. Kathleen quickly assisted the others in getting into the back. As she moved her leg, she winced in pain. Dustin began driving while Steve and Robin were arguing about something, She wondered to herself what they had taken while she pressed up against the cage.

"No, dingus, it's 500!"

"It's 300!" Steve argued.

Robin came to a halt for a brief moment as she considered something. "Let's say a million." They both began to laugh over something minor, which had something to do with the blonde haired girl. Dustin flipped the cart. As Steve pressed his foot into her leg, she cried out in pain. Dustin turned around to make sure they were all okay.

Kathleen carefully exited the cart as Erica assisted her in walking to the elevator. She sat on the ground, watching Dustin and Erica drag the clearly drugged/drunk teenagers into the elevator. "They have clearly been intoxicated with something." Kathleen observed as she added into the conversation. Watching as they tried to pretend to surf.

The teenagers were completely absorbed in their thoughts and had no idea who or where they were, as Dustin tried to engage them in conversation. "don't know what he cut me with, but whatever it was hurts like a bitch." Kathleen stated as she tried to move her body up to be in a more comfortable posture as Erica keeled next to the girl, making sure she was okay.

Evidently sensing how uncomfortable she was, Erica made the decision to divert her attention. "Tell me about..what was his name..Edward?" she asked. noticing the girl's smile when he was mentioned, which suggested that she must value him.

"His name is Eddie. Edward is a name he despises. He is the funniest and most nerdy person I've ever met. He was treated like garbage by my uncle, and he still blames himself for what his father did to him." As she watched the two teenagers make fun of one another. Erica became aware of the need to remove her bandages when she noticed how much blood had accumulated through them.

Finally, the elevator came to a stop. Slowly rising, Kathleen moved to stand between Dustin and Erica. When they opened the doors, she felt the cool breeze. She hobbled out as Steve and Robin strangely began to taste the air. Once she realized the Russians were also up here with guns and chasing them, she closed her eyes in frustration

"Shit! Come on! Come on!" Dustin panicked as they all had to return to the elevator, Dustin grew anxious. She took a hesitant breath and lean against the box. "Let's move through here." As they began to make their way back inside the Star court Mall.

Finally, everyone entered the theaters after him. Kathleen slowed down and shook her head. As she sat in the waiting area making everyone stop. "Go inside, I'll be here." Dustin and Erica were prepared to object until they observed her leg, they nodded their agreement in silence. Before entering the Cinema, forcing Steve and Robin in with force.

Kathleen leaned against the wall, her head cocked. As she waited, she could feel the discomfort getting slightly worse. awaiting a change in circumstances. when she heard footsteps suddenly try to creep across the room. She opened her eyes to see Steve and Robin giggling, she merely shook her head before deciding that she should probably follow their foolish asses

She slowly stood up and began to hobble towards where they were, before she was seized and forced into a tight hug. "Where the hell have you been?" She froze when she realized who that voice belonged to. She slowly retreated as she looked up at Eddie, who had furious and concerned eyes.

"Eddie, what are you doing here? Where is dad?" She needed to divert Eddie's attention away from her leg.

"We both made him a promise that we would be at the carnival tonight, and he is there right now. What's wrong with your face?" he questioned as he began to look at her face and started to prod the bruise under her eye. prompting her to cry out in agony.

When she smacked his hand, he immediately withdrew it. "Would you just stop that. It's a long story, but I got into some altercation with this chick."she remarked. looked around, she saw someone enter the restroom quickly. "Wait, you didn't respond to my query, what are you doing here?" She questioned.

"None of your concern, Houdini." She rolled her eyes at his response, and nudged him, which made him giggle. "I'm glad I found you." Eddie stated as he started to leave the theater. "Let's go so we can spend the night at the fair, eating fairy floss and bothering our guardian."

She debated whether to stay or leave for a while. She would be dumb to venture out and about with her leg like this. As she waited for her to move, she turned to face her cousin. She said, "Um, I'm going to wait till Robin comes out from the movies, we'll go to the fair together."which made Eddie look at her with the same expression she gave him whenever he flirted with other people to attract attention or into trouble. "Go, or I'll believe you're obsessed with me."she said with a smile.

She waited until her cousin had completely departed before beginning to enter the restroom. She was about to open the door when she stopped when she heard what was happening inside. "You have someone out there who is gazing at you as though you had put the moon there for her to see every night just for her."Kathleen was baffled by what Steve said, wondering if they were still high.

She overheard Robin murmuring. Before Steve said anything with laughter, it seemed like she was disputing. The two of them nervously eyed Kathleen as she stumbled in because she was unable to endure the discomfort any longer. She sheepishly apologized. "I'm so sorry, I Ugh didn't mean to ruin your moment."before slowly stumbling as Steve got up and assisted her.

Steve helped her to a seat in front of Robin, who was incredibly concerned about how pale she seemed and the blood that was beginning to leak from the bandages, Steve helped her to a seat in front of Robin. "I'm going to get a first aid kit or find Dustin, you guys stay here." He gave Robin a stern look. Then walked out of the room while grinning.

Kathleen was unable to meet her gaze. She chose to simply focus on her leg. It was quite for a while before Robin spoke up. "Was what you said there in that room true?" Kathleen was a little taken aback by Robin's question.

She was thinking of things to say all the time. some are utterly foolish, and others would utterly ruin everything. '"And what would happen if I truly meant it?" Kathleen raised her head to address the girl in front of her.

"Then I would respond. When you entered Scoop's Ahoy, you stopped my heart in its tracks. because you are Kathleen Munson, one of our school's nicest girls who never shied away from speaking out for others who felt excluded because they didn't fit in. who, despite the opinions of others, wore her last name with pride. who I really really like." Robin sobbed through her laughter causing Kathleen to blush slightly at her remarks.

She was unsure of what to say when the girl she had a crush on confessed her feelings to her. Her head disagreed with what her emotions were telling her. "Good, because I really, really like this girl that has stopped my heart and made me blush more than I can count too, and perhaps after all of this, she would say yes on a date." Robbin nodded as the two of them exchanged tearful looks as Kathleen grinned.

Leaning over, Kathleen was prepared to begin this brand-new journey. But as soon as the door swung open. She rapidly jumped back as a result. Steve, Dustin, and Erica entered. Dustin had a puzzled expression on his face, Erica had a smirk, and Steve had an apologetic expression. "They're stronger than they appear." he added, shrugging.
