While this book is officially over, there will be a sequel titled Secrets of the Lamp, so do not fear! Aliya and the rest of the Avalonian Tales characters will return {along with a couple new ones}! I might release a sneak peek of what to expect [it really just depends on everyone's interest in the sequel]. More information about the sequel is listed in Part Four.

We are now heading into Aladdin territory, folks! I also could not resist the urge to add a little gif from the animated movie.

The title for the sequel is going to be known as Secrets of the Lamp (as established in part two). While the plot is still under-wraps, I will give you a few words and you (my dear readers) can guess where the next book is going to go.

Like I said, try to guess the plot from those words. I might have even explicitly stated some ideas for the plot within the comments (if you recall). Remember, there are no wrong answers! I'm just genuinely curious to see what you all think the plot will be about.

So... I know what everyone is probably thinking. What can you expect from the sequel and the next two pending installments as we start building our way towards the official timeline for Avalonian Tales?

Well for starters, I will start to explore the legacy behind our fallen heroes (term coined by GeekyCookie1) alongside Ambrose (who is otherwise known as The Senior Fae) used to work alongside the five with the seeker of that previous era, Florian.

Through exploring the past, I plan on diving into the lives of these heroes, their rise into stepping into their power and eventual demise. I will also go through the rise and fall of Florian, the seeker who also met their demise and how his death (alongside the heroes) impact Ambrose aka The Senior Fae on his long conquest of power.

This should also be worth knowing that while GeekyCookie1 owns the names of these fallen heroes [Nightflutter, Turtle Titan, the Siren siblings and the Timekeeper, all of which belong to GeekyCookie1], I will own essentially everything else related to these heroes [with creative input from GeekyCookie1, should she have ideas of her own for the original heroes] in terms of this timeline only!

✍🏾 【Ａｕｔｈｏｒ'ｓ　Ｎｏｔｅ】 ✍🏾

Fellow readers! I hope you enjoyed this book as much as I enjoyed writing it! More importantly, I hope your day is going well and life is working in your favor. This was the first major book I tackled after ending (ish) my long-statically hiatus, so I like to think I improved (though I highly doubt it).

I'm curious to know: what did you think about the longer chapters versus the actual length of the book? Would you prefer more chapters, but shorter lengths or did you like this format better? Let me know!

I was honestly not expecting this book to finish nor did I even expect this book to make it to the ending! I usually nitpick over the concept of my books, so if I'm disinterested, lose motivation or no longer become inspired by the plot, then I end up massacring the book, essentially ending its existence.

So the fact this book actually survived says a lot.

Furthermore, I would like to thank those who chose to check out this book [you know who you are]. This is the first fandom I {mostly} created with creative input from GeekyCookie1, who continues to build the lore for this fantasy realm of mine [which you'll see as the books progressed].

Because this was the first fandom I made, I wasn't sure how these characters or the plot itself would be received. Based upon the comments and extensive love all of you have for these characters, I will continue to expand Avalonian Tales to ensure more of their stories are told, starting with the sequel.

As I previously mentioned, there will be a sequel for this book. Like the title Secrets of the Lamp suggests, the sequel's inspiration will primarily center on the animated version of Disney's Aladdin [though the live-action version might play a role or two in shaping the book].

I would like to point out that inspiration does not mean carbon copy. Although this book's inspiration is Disney's The Little Mermaid, it was not a typical copy-and-paste version of the movie. Rather, this was a original storyline that I wrote and yes, I am {mostly} proud of how this book turned out.

Could my descriptions been better? Sure.

Could the plot have made more sense? ... Yes.

But that's the beauty of revising! At some point, I'll go back and tweak this book, so it will make sense and try to work on my descriptions. In addition, I'll also go back to correct any errors I might have potentially missed.

Overall, I appreciate the love and support all of you have shown to these characters, so just because I'm a curious person, here are a few questions:

Any particular ship you liked? Disliked? Any particular pairings you want (or don't want) to see explore in upcoming books?

Who did you claim as the favorites (if any)? Who did you despise the most (if any)?

Stuff you wanted to see more of? Stuff you want to see less in upcoming books?

I can't guarantee I'll follow through with any of the responses to the questions, but I will at least consider your thoughts before making any final decisions.
