     𓏲 ࣪₊♡𓂃 EMMETT AND ARLINA were playing monopoly at the kitchen table and Rosalie was sat beside her mate lazily reading a book. They were trying to pass time while Carlisle and Esme were in Mississippi trying to find a home. Edward was staying at a hotel away from the rest of the Cullens, he was upset about leaving Bella, but he knew it was for the best.

     "You're cheating!" Arlina exclaimed, and her brother put his hands up in surrender, scrunching his face.

     "No, I'm not!" He defended and looked at his wife, who held an amused expression on her face but kept her eyes on the book.

     "Is he not cheating, Rose?!" Arlina questioned, and both Cullens looked towards the blonde, who raised a brow with a smirk. The conversation was interrupted when Alice ran into the room with Jasper following after her.

     "Guys! Bella killed herself."

ARLINA INSISTED SHE WENT WITH ALICE TO CHECK ON CHARLIE, the two having great relationships with the man. Nobody was home when they arrived at the Swan household, so both sisters hung around until he got back.

They were sat at the kitchen table when they heard footsteps towards the front door and the door opening.

Alice sped up to the living room, seeing Bella. She ran to her side with a shocked expression, Arlina close behind. Bella jumped when she caught sight of Alice in her face, and hugged her immediately, "Alice? Oh, my God! What are you..."

"Bella!" Alice exclaimed and Bella moved away from the vampire, her eyes watering.

"I'm sorry. I just... I can't believe you're here. I-Is..." Bella stuttered, she looked over Alice's shoulder at the redhead that stood, smiling softly at the girl, "Arlina? Oh, my gosh, am I dreaming?"

"Would you like to explain to us how you're alive?" Alice asked with a concerned expression, Arlina moved forward, placing a comforting hand on her sister's shoulder.

"What?" Bella responded.

"You should be dead, Bella. Alice saw a vision of you jumping from a cliff." Arlina spoke calmly.

"Why in the hell would you try and kill yourself?" Alice scolded, she looked the angriest she'd ever been, "I mean, what about Charlie? What about—"

"I didn't try to kill myself." Bella cut off, shaking her head, "I was cliff jumping. Recreationally. It was fun." She rubbed her eyes and Arlina smiled.

Alice sighed and looked to her sister, who guided them both to the couch. Arlina was known for being the comforting one, she would always know how to break up fights or stop arguments. She always knew what to say and when to say it, she was surprised she didn't get a peace-making gift when she turned.

"I have never met anyone more prone to life-threatening idiocy." Alice spoke, sat across from Bella.

"Does... Did you tell him?" Bella looked between the two Cullens, who glanced at each other before setting their eyes back on the Swan girl.

"We didn't. He only calls in once every few months, claiming he wants to be alone." Arlina nodded, everything went silent until Alice began to sniff dramatically and she scrunched her nose up.

"Bella, what is that God-awful wet dog smell?" Alice questioned and Arlina sniffed it too, soon understanding why she was so dramatic about it, it really did stink of dog.

"Um... That's probably me. Or... It's Jacob." Bella responded, taking her coat off. Arlina stood and took her coat with a sweet smile, hanging it up by the door.

"Jacob who?" Alice questioned.

"Jacob's kind of a werewolf." She admitted and Arlina sped back, taking a seat beside Bella with a concerned look, Arlina had never met a werewolf before, she had heard of them and she knows of the treaty the Cullens have with the Quileute tribe

"Bella! Werewolves are not good company to keep."

"Speak for yourself." A male voice came from the doorway and both Alice and Arlina stood from their seats and walked towards the boy they assumed was "Jacob", ready to protect Bella and themselves, "I had to see you were safe."

"I thought you couldn't protect me here." Bella turned her head from where she stayed sat.

"Guess I don't care."

"Well, I'm not gonna hurt her." Alice spoke up, arms down by her side, staring down the wolf and Arlina scrunched her brows. Jacob looked towards the redhead with a questioning look and she scoffed.

"I'd die for Bella." Arlina responded to his look, and he then looked down at Bella.

"Yeah, no, you're just harmless Cullens. I'm talking about the other bloodsucker who tried to kill Bella because of you." Jacob explained and Arlina raised her brow.

"Victoria?" Alice asked, both Cullens looked towards the brunette and she nodded with a sigh.

"Yeah, Victoria's been around."

"I didn't see her." Alice lifted her hands up, confused, "I didn't see you get pulled out of the water, either. I can't see past you and your pack of mutts."

"Don't get me upset..." Jacob started, taking a step towards the shorter Cullen, "Or things are gonna get very ugly."

"Hey, hey. Back off, buddy." Arlina put herself in front of Alice and held her hand up towards Jacob, letting fire engulf it, he didn't seem scared of her though.

"Arlina! Stop, stop, stop, stop." Bella moved forward and stood in front of the Cullens, she turned towards Arlina and pushed some hair behind her ear.

"We'll give you a minute." Arlina wrapped an arm around her sister and guided her away from the two, towards the front door.

"Hey. You're not going anywhere. You're both gonna come back, right?" Bella asked and Arlina smiled sweetly.

"As soon as you put the dog out." Alice smirked and leaped out of the house, Arlina hot on her tail. The two sat on the porch steps for a while until Alice had a vision.

"Alice? What do you see?" Arlina asked and the short-haired vampire shook her head quickly.

"Edward, he thinks Bella's dead. He's going to the Volturi, he wants to die, too." Alice got up and walked into the house, Arlina started up the car and pulled into the driveway to give easy access to Bella, assuming she was coming to help Edward as well.

"He left you, Bella, He didn't want you anymore. Remember?" Jacob's voice sounded, he was following Bella out of the house. Alice sped into the back seat of Carlisle's Mercedes, giving Bella the passenger.

"No, I'm not gonna let him kill himself out of guilt." Bella responded, her bag clutched in her hand tightly as she made her way to the car.

"What about your Dad?" Jacob asked and Bella furrowed her brows.

"I'm 18. I'm legally free to go, and I left a note." Bella got into the car and Arlina put her hand on the steering wheel but Jacob stopped her, causing Alice to move forward and hiss loudly at him. The redhead turned her attention to Bella with raised brows.

"Please, Bella. Just stay here. For Charlie. Or for me." Jacob built up the suspense and Arlina scoffed loudly.

"Come on, Wolfy! My brother's going to die." She moved his hands away from her, and he gave Bella a pleading look.

"I have to go." Bella spoke quietly, a guilty expression plastered across her facial features.

"I'm begging you. Please." He leaned on the window frame, his smell intoxicating the Cullens.

"Goodbye, Jacob."

Arlina nodded and the engine roared as she drove off, Bella put her seatbelt on and they began their journey to Italy where they'd hopefully save their brother...
