"You know what! I'm jealous!" Cody announced as we watched Serenity zip through the waves like a pro, trying to teach Meadow and Sarai how to surf.

I just smiled. I had been smiling like a fool ever since I left the house. I didn't expect to get that intimate with Serenity this morning, but I loved every minute of it.

I was fine with pleasuring her because she needed it. She needed a man, not a little kid and that's what she had with her ex.

"Why are you jealous?" I asked my little brother now snapping out of my thoughts

"You have a super hot girlfriend that surfs, is hilarious, has a cute kid and she looks like she makes great food." He ranted making me and Caleb laugh

"Yeah, she's amazing." I replied while looking out at the woman who had consumed my mind fully

"Have you told her you love her?" Caleb then asked

"No, but our relationship is in baby steps. She has a piece of shit ex, so it's been hard getting her to open up but worth it." I sighed beginning to think about all the things she probably had been through

"Kick his ass!" Cody reprimanded making me laugh

"I probably am...He's an arrogant bastard I will say that." I said beginning to pick up a nearby seashell

"What makes him so arrogant?" Cody then asked

"A lot of things. He's a piece of shit...so in a way it's been hard to get her to trust me. But I really lov-like her." I stammered making them go crazy and begin cheering while grabbing ahold of around my neck shaking me playfully.

"My big brother is in love!" Cody cheered making my cheeks flush red

"Tell her!" Caleb urged pinching my cheeks making me slap his hands away and move Cody's arm from around me.

"I will eventually." I replied as Serenity began to walk over with the kids and a smile across her face

"Dad, I think Serenity just ended your surfing days." Meadow laughed making me roll my eyes laughing with her.

Sarai then crawled into Cody's open arms and making me stick my tongue out at Sarai making her laugh as Cody said "You know what girls, I think me, you, you and Uncle Caleb should get some ice cream!"

I laughed lowly at his way of getting me and Serenity alone as the girls squealed "Yes!"

"Well come on! Let's give Serenity and Paul a bit of time." Caleb said as they began to walk off with the kids

"Be good." Serenity urged making me smile up at her before she sat down on the beach towel and said "Cody was right, the tides are amazing today!"

I smiled over at her and said "You know what else is amazing?"

She began to laugh making me softly pull her into my lap before saying "The skies, the ocean, you."

Serenity then shook her head at my statement with a small smile and said "You and your family are amazing."

"Well thank you! Brothers are a little crazy but thank you." I smiled holding her in my arms

"Do you want to talk about this morning?" I asked beginning to admire her glowing skin

"I really don't have anything to say...it was amazing. I had never experienced anything like it." She answered truthfully

"You'll get more when you're ready."

"You're so sweet. You'd rot my teeth if I let you, huh?" She teased making me lean in and kiss her gently.

"Damn straight." I mumbled while kissing her

She then pulled back and ran her palm through my hair before smiling, "You've made me so happy in this past month and a half."

"Woman, you do not even want to know what you've done for me ever since I've met you!" I beamed lifting from the ground still holding her in my arms making her yelp as I began swinging her in my arms bridal style making her laugh harder.

"Serenity..." I hummed lowly as I sat her down placing my hands on her waist

"Yes?" She replied looking up at me with her dark brown eyes that began to lighten in the hot sun

"I love you." I admitted making her stare into my eyes with an unreadable expression

"Do you mean it? You know sometimes yo-" She began to try and write me off before I cut her off, "Yes, I mean it, Serenity, I love you with all of my heart."

She closed her eyes for a slight second with tears running down them before she pulled me into a tight hug that I returned rubbing her back softly.

"I love you too." She replied making me pull back and wipe her eyes before she kissed me causing me to rest my palms on her cheeks deepening the kiss before she pulled back making me rest my forehead against hers.

I watched as Serenity and my Mom laughed in each other's presence as they cooked a cake. I just smiled to myself before Meadow stopped next to me, I looked over and wrapped my arm around her shoulder making her smile.

"Are you and Serenity going to get married? You two mind as well, you guys are cute."

"It's too early, bear, but she may be your step mom after a while." I teased beginning to tickle her before she swatted me away making me laugh

"She's more badass then you, dad."

I laughed before slightly rolling my eyes, "She's a firefighter, she's the only one allowed to be more badass then me."

Meadow laughed lowly and said "Do you love her?"

"Yes, I do." I replied looking back into the kitchen watching Serenity light up as she and my Mom talked.

A/N: How do you guys feel about the beach day? What about Paul's brothers bothering him once again? 🤣🤣🤣 How about them helping him get alone with Serenity?
