I walked down the hall of the station pleased at how easy everything was flowing.

There hasn't been any hectic calls all week and it was peaceful to know that people were following our instructions about the dry season.

Smiling to myself I began to think about all the time me and Paul had been spending. Me and him would talk all day and night when I didn't have Sarai and when I did we'd take the kids out.

"Chief!" The newbie, Powers, called after me

"Yeah?" I asked turning in his direction

"Paul Walker just asked for you!" He beamed with a big smile

I smiled and he began following me then said "Chief, do celebrities just drop by like this all the time?!"

Powers was still a kid so I could empathize with the bubbly reaction, he was just 19 and has a nice smile so I'll keep him around the station.

I laughed and said "No, he just likes to think he's regular."

"Well, Chief, he's right out front of the station!" He said beginning to make his way to the day room

Walking out of the door, I made my way out the front garage where the fire truck was parked before seeing him leaning against his GT-R with a bright smile.

"Hey, beautiful." He said opening his arms as I walked closer making him wrap his arms around me

"Hi, Speedy." I replied before kissing him softly

"What are you doing here?" I asked pulling back from the lingering kiss, now smiling at him due to the red face he wore from blushing

"I wanted to see you..." He said looking down at me

"At work? I smell like a dude and I'm in this hot ass uniform." I ranted making him smile resting his hands on my waist

"I like it." He replied simply before kissing my forehead

My date was tonight and I was beyond nervous, I hadn't even been on one in years.

"I have a surprise for you." He hummed lowly

"Uh-huh...?" I replied now resting my arms around his neck

"I'll give it to you on our date."

"Oh, God." I replied before laughing

"You're going to love tonight." He said with the biggest smile plastered across his lips

"I believe it, but why should I trust you?" I teased jokingly

"Oh, come on lady, you don't trust me?!" He whined rolling his eyes making me laugh

"I don't have time for this you big baby."

"Can I be your big baby?" He rebutted making me roll my eyes "I don't have time for this boy!" I said beginning to laugh as he tickled me.

"Yes you can be my big baby! I have to go back to work!" I squealed making him pout

"God, you're worst than Sarai!" I laughed before softly bopping his nose making him try and bite me before I snatched my hand back.

"Paul!" I exclaimed making him laugh

"That's not funny you just tried to bite me!" I said in disbelief

"You know it was kinda funny, just a little bit!" He replied sillily snuggling closer to me making a smile reappear across my face.

"Stop. We're not friends no more." I said crossing my arms around my chest trying to hide my smile before he held me tightly and said "Well I'm not letting you go until you forgive me."

He then laid a dozen kisses on my face and said "Baby, I'm sorry. You serious?"

I felt my heart beat faster by the second before I said "Of course not." smiling at him again.

Paul stared down at me for a split second before he rested a hand on my cheek as he pressed his lips against mines longingly.

It no longer felt intimidating to kiss him. I used to see Aiden but my whole disposition has changed and now I see a man showing me he cared...and it was nice.

Pulling back slowly, he bit his lip and I held his hand softly before saying "I gotta go."

"Ugh, I'll see you later since the station wants to take you from me." He groaned making me laugh

"See ya, Speedy."

I smiled happily with a towel around my body and my hair pinned up as I found clothes for tonight.

Paul wouldn't tell me anything as far as where we were going just to wear comfortable clothes.

As I slid on my panties and bra my doorbell rung making me look out my side window seeing Paul, I opened the window and leaned against the window seal said "Now, why should I let you in?"

"Because you like me." He yelled with a laugh making me shake my head before I walked downstairs and opened the door for him.

As soon as he made it through the door he kissed my cheek and said "Hey, gorgeous." placing his arms around me.

"Hey, crazy." I replied making him laugh

"Why do I have to be crazy?!"

"If I could call any of your friends or brothers they'd know the answer too." I retorted with a laugh as I began making my way back to my room to finish getting dressed with Paul following.

"You know they all want to meet you!" He beamed sitting on my bed

"Why?" I asked pulling on my leggings jumping a little to get them fitted comfortably on my thighs

"Apparently, I talk about you all the time and they all think you're really beautiful." He ranted making me laugh

"How would they know what I look like?" I asked before walking into my bathroom and unwrapping the towel from around me, slipping on a loose fitting shirt.

"I may or may not have taken a picture of you when you were smiling at me." He said making me scurry out of the bathroom and softly jump into his arms making him laugh and lean back.

"Why would you do that?!"

"Because you looked so happy and beautiful." He replied with his hands resting on my thighs

I shook my head and he said "It's not a bad thing. My mom says you're the best looking person I've ever dated."

I laughed and said "Yeah, I mean you do have questionable taste."

"Haha..." He teased rolling over on top of me "...Very funny."

"I'm just joking. But I doubt the best looking part." I said lowly

"You're the best looking." He reassured making me smile

"I want a real kiss." He asked shortly after making me laugh and lean up to kiss him.

"You know what, I think you're trying to kill me." I laughed as he drove farther out of Los Angeles.

"Never." He replied looking over at me smiling with one hand on the wheel before he slid the other on my thigh.

After about ten more minutes the car stopped in an empty field with the stars illuminating the surroundings.

"This is amazing." I smiling looking out of the window at all the stars in the night sky

"I thought you'd like it..." He smiled before pressing a button making the sunroof appear

"Yeah, I love it." I gushed looking up at the starry night before looking over at Paul who was staring at me with eyes of admiration before he leaned over and kissed me gently.

"Take your seatbelt loose." He mumbled in the kiss making me pull back, "I don't want to mess up anything." I said referring to the Porsche we sat in.

He groaned lowly and said "Don't worry about it...You're not like everybody else that gets in my cars."

"Meaning?" I laughed

"Meaning you have rights that even my brothers don't have." He replied making me bite my lip at his ways.

I unfastened my seatbelt and slid off my slides before he lifted me into his arms pulling me onto his lap reattaching his lips with his hands on my waist.

I rested my hands on the side of his neck, with my fingertips rested at the back as my hair fell in my face making me lean back slightly so my hair would move causing a little moan to suppress from his lips.

"Please stop moving." He urged making me pull back before laughing, "I'm sorry." I replied knowing what was happening.

"Stop telling me sorry."

"I'm just so used to it, because of...I'm sor-" I stammered before fidgeting with my ring

"Get unused to him." He rebutted making me nod steadily before he reached over in the dash and pulled out a black velvet box making my eyebrows furrow before I saw the print on the box that read 'Blue Nile'

"What's this, Speedy?!" I asked teasingly before he just smiled and said "Open it."

I slowly opened the box revealing a jewelry set glimmer in the moonlight making me sigh and close it.

"This is beautiful, but I can't take this." I said lowly

"Yes, you can."

"You don't have to do this." I rebutted making him smile and rest his hand on my cheek "But I want to. Just like I want you and Sarai to come and spend Christmas with me and my family."

I sat in silence a few minutes as I thought to myself before he said "I just don't want you to be alone...if you don't want to you don't have to."

"We'll go." I smiled making him light up with a dashing smile before he kissed me again celebrating like he had just won the Super Bowl.

"Now, back to this jewelry...you're going to take it." He said beginning to laugh

"Paul, you're doing too much for me." I replied beginning to tug his long hair that was curling softly.

"You do too much for me." He retorted licking his lips making my heart run laps around my body

"What do I do?" I asked genuinely confused at what I do for him

"Enough to make me the happiest man ever." He replied making blood seek to my cheeks as they warmed

Beginning to take the necklace out of the box he said "Move your hair."

I smiled and lifted it as he slipped the necklace around my neck, fastening the clasp letting the cold diamonds fall down against my collarbones.

"Do you like it?" He asked making me blurt "Yes, thank you so much!"

He laughed and said "No problem, I'm glad you like it!"

"Now if you accidentally break it, give it to me because I have to ship it to the East Coast." He continued to inform me

"Wait, Why?!"

"Because of the jewelry store I brought it from."

"Please don't tell me you spent an outrageous amount of money on this."

He made a face and stayed silent for a few seconds before he stuttered "I...you know what-"

"Paul William Walker IV!" I exclaimed making him utter suddenly "Maybe around 20,000."

I punched his shoulder softly and said "What the hell!"

"Ah!" He groaned before I looked at the smile he wore before no longer being able to stay "mad" at him.
