I was in a damning dilemma in which neither my family would come off on top of. I felt worst than pathetic, I mean, I didn't even know how to tell my fiancé. I didn't know how to tell him my ex was blackmailing us so in return I would return to him.

I had to tell him but if I did all it would lead to is Paul happily going to jail.

"Shit!" I groaned lowly feeling blood begin to rush from my finger after cutting it on accident while trying to slice the squash

God, that asshole knew how to stress me out even when I was in perfect peace.

Paul then walked in the kitchen with his smile immediately fading seeing right through me and the true stress I have desperately tried to hide since I stepped into our home an hour ago.

"I'm sorry" I said lowly with a sigh as I held my head down and he walked over

"Don't apologize, it's fine." He replied gently placing his hands on my cheeks and pressing a kiss against my forehead before hugging me

"Let me see, baby." He then asked causing me to place my hand into his letting him see the cut

"Alright, let's go get you cleaned up" He then said while sending me a cute little smile before we both made our way to our bathroom

Paul then effortlessly lifted me into his arms causing me to laugh lowly as he kissed my lips before asking, "What's on your mind, beautiful?"

"Everything." I admitted truthfully as he sat me on the counter before getting the first aid kit beginning to work what he called his 'future husband magic'

"Well, talk to me mama" He said as he began to clean my cut

"I think our child just has me overthinking simple everyday life things." I said with a small smile as he began to wrap my cut

"So, this isn't about our upcoming wedding?" He asked nervously

"No! Of course not, you've made me too happy, we are getting married whether you like it or not now" I rebutted while laughing causing him to begin laughing with me

"Well I'm sorry you had me fucking scared for a second, baby." He confessed with watery eyes as he smiled

"Oh, no, my big baby." I said with a smile before wiping his eyes and kissing him all over

"You're not gonna pick on my emotions woman!" He replied jokingly

"I'm not, Speedy, you're just cute." I said slipping off of the counter and wrapping my arms around him tightly causing him to do the same

"I love you" He then said

"I love you more" I replied looking up to look him in the eyes

"Impossible" He rebutted sillily

"Hey! Whitney and Kevin! We are hungry!" Meadow announced from our door causing me to laugh

"Okay, Meadow and Sarai, I'm thinking Pizza and Wings for tonight instead of cooking. I'd hate for you two to die from starvation"

"I like it! But, promise us, you'll cook your food sometime this week!" She replied

"I promise" I said with a smile before hearing them cheer happily

"So wait, how did driving and ice cream go today?" I asked before biting a slice of my pizza as we sat around the living room talking to one another

"Uhhh!" Meadow groaned with a slight smile trying to find a way out of this conversation

"The driving ability is just not in her blood" Paul replied simply

"Paul, please stop being extra." I then said as Meadow death glared him

"I'm not! Driving just isn't her strong suit." He replied

"Meadow, baby, what happened?" I asked wanting to hear her and Sarai's side of the story before Paul's

"I-" She began to state before her Father cut her off and said, "We ended up on the highway for 45 minutes because she didn't want to merge out of the middle lane to get off of the highway! And when she finally did we were in Riverside." He replied causing me to laugh slightly

"No! Don't blame this on me, you were too busy laughing at me instead of giving me directions!" Meadow rebutted

"That's because somehow you turned on the windshield wipers instead of the signal when I was trying to tell you to go right instead of left so you wouldn't have gotten on the highway." Paul said before beginning to laugh mentally reliving the situation as Sarai did the same

"Driving with him is embarrassing! He turned on the caution lights and kept laughing at me the entire time!" Meadow said with a huff as she bit her pizza

"So you mean to tell me you guys had a Dionne moment from Clueless?" I then asked while laughing

"Well, when you put it like that it sounds iconic, so yes, yes, we did Ma!" Meadow said proudly as she smiled

"Yeah, and you know what you, Cher and Dionne have in common bear?" Paul asked Meadow causing her to excitedly smile as she asked, "What?"

"You all can't drive!" He said while laughing before getting up and going into the kitchen to get more drinks for us

"If I kill him momentarily do you think he'll take me off his will?" Meadow asked causing me to burst out in laughter before shaking my head and going into the kitchen to get more food

"Yes, I will!" He yelled from the kitchen

"Bite me!" She rebutted

I always thought their arguments were too funny because they playfully made fun of each other like this all the time even though they have that strong Father-Daughter bond, but when she argued with Caleb and Cody...oof, you'd think they were siblings.

"Meadow, you want to try driving with me instead?" I asked causing her to nod 'Yes' as she pouted

I then began to wipe Sarai's mouth and kissed her forehead as Paul walked back into the living room.

"Look, I say it was a win! No one was hurt including the car!" I announced causing Meadow and Sarai to nod with smiles

"Yeah, right. My brakes were, I probably have whiplash and the little princess right here wouldn't know because she was high off of Oreo ice cream" Paul rebutted causing me to shake my head as I tried not to laugh

And before I knew it Meadow was up and trying to fight her Dad which only led them running around the house until Paul picked her up with one of his arms and tickled her.

Then, of course, she screamed for Sarai's help and they both ended up stuck and laughing.

I had an idea for this whole Aiden situation but for this to work I had to be three steps ahead and calculated.

Because, I wasn't leaving my family.
