Me and Paul sat across from Sarai and Meadow with straight faces as I gulped softly.

"So, we're here, all dressed up and fancy...why?" Meadow giggled

Me and Paul had arranged this big dinner tonight at Nobu to announce our baby. We had been to the doctor and they confirmed I was about three months pregnant so it was only right we told them.

But first, we had to tell our daughters. It was only fair they know before everyone else.

"Yeah!" Sarai said furrowing her eyebrows agreeing with her big sissy; as she'd say

"Yeah, Serenity, why are we here?!" Paul said taking a sip of his champagne

"Don't play with me," I said looking over at him daringly before laughing pushing his shoulder

"Dad! Mom! Tell us you two's announcement!" Meadow then said laughing causing my heart to sink

She just called me Mom.

I felt my eyes water as I quickly grabbed a tissue dapping my eyes gently, careful to not smudge my makeup.

Paul noticed my little reaction and smiled wrapping his arm around my shoulder before kissing my forehead.

Meadow continued to smile to herself and said "See, I have game too Dad!"

I laughed at her along with Sarai as Paul rolled his eyes at her statement before laughing, "Back away from my Wife."

"She's my mother, I'm luckier!" She shot back scrunching her eyes at him

"Listen, you're more than half of my height. Me and you can go if you want?" He said referring to a fight causing me to laugh

"You are not going to do anything, Speedy," I said laughing

"Right, because me and Sarai jump people!" Meadow said crossing her arms over her chest causing Paul to laugh

"Oh, that's right? And I take allowance!" He shot back

"And I give allowance," I said taking her side with a laugh

"Wait! The hell is this? You taking baby bear's side over me?" Paul asked in shock causing me to nod before he began to softly bite me causing me to push him away

He then rested his hand in Meadow's hair shimming his hand through it causing it to frizz and her to squeal lowly.

"Stop!"

He then pinched Sarai's cheek causing her to laugh and me to shake my head.

"Stop causing haptic at this table, Mr. Walker!" I ordered poking his nose causing him to laugh and throw his hands up in surrender

"Alright! I guess it's time to tell the announcement!" Paul said happily

"Well spill the beans!" Sarai said causing me to laugh at the new phrase she'd picked up most likely from Meadow

"Okay...You two are gonna have a sister or brother soon!" Paul said rubbing my stomach gently

Meadow's eyes then stretched before she began to dance in her seat.

"A baby! It's a baby! What is the gender?" She yelped

"We don't know that yet. But that's what we have to tell everyone." I then said smiling at her reaction

"Oh. My. GOD!" She said jumping up and walking over to hug me tightly as Sarai followed her every. move

"Thank you for everything, including making my Dad the happiness hippie dude in the world and being there for me no matter what." She said causing me to smile as she let go of me

"Thank you for accepting me and my daughter as a part of your family." I rebutted causing her to smile as tears fell from her eyes and Sarai hugged my waist as I held her tiny hand

Paul did nothing but smile at us as he hugged all four of us.

"I love you all and thank you all for keeping me from going absolutely crazy in the lifestyle I live." He said with a smile

"Oh stop. I'm already borderline emotional due to the baby, please stop all the love before I cry." I joked causing Speedy to kiss my cheek as he said "Never!"

"So we are just here to tell you all that we are expecting!" Paul said to all of his family and friends before they all erupted in cheers

I smiled to myself as he held my hand before kissing it, "I love you" he said with a gentle, settling voice

"I love you too," I replied as his brothers, non-blood related and all found their way over to us

"It's happening!" Cody said loudly hugging me before wrapping an arm around his big brother's neck along with Caleb, Vin, Tyrese, Chris, and Sung

"Congratulations!" All of his brothers then said hugging me as well

"Thank you," I said smiling as I was then approached by Paul's Mom and Dad

"Congratulations, beautiful!" His Mom said as they hugged me

"I'm excited for another little one, it's been a minute!" His Dad then said with a smile causing me to smile harder

"Yeah, and Paul is more excited than I thought he'd be at first."

"That's because he's in love with you and I've never seen him love anyone the way he loves you." His Mom then said before she grabbed my hand gently

"May I talk with you in private sweetie?" She asked causing me to nod before replying, "Of course!"

We made our way to an empty table in the restaurant away from all of the noise, leaving his Dad behind to rave with the rest of the guys about the child we had on the way.

As we sat face to face at the table, she gently grabbed my hands and smiled while looking me in the eyes, "Your engagement ring is stunning."

"Thank you." I smiled as she began rubbing my knuckles

"I know we had a lot of one on one talks Christmas, but I don't think I ever told you how much I am grateful for you being in my Son's life other than saving it." She began to state gently wiping a tear from her eyes

"Serenity, you are the best thing that's happened to him emotionally since Meadow. My son was losing that light slowly the more he worked...I remember all the times he told me, 'Ma! I don't need a woman in my life' and how much he hated how women were only after him for the material things now and how wasn't having any more children because of it. I used to laugh at him, while deep down praying he'd rethink his decision. And because of you, he did." She stated giving me a small smile causing my soul to shutter at her genuine words

"I remember him being in the hospital and his first words to me being about you, he told me within knowing of you for a few hours that you were the one. And me being me I asked him 'Was the morphine kicking in heavy?' and his exact words were 'Yeah, but I'm serious.' and as I asked how, he just said 'Mom, I know.' I laughed at first at his statement thinking he was just on another one of his playboy scandals until I saw the way he looked at you, my God, that boy looks at you like you're the most treasured thing in this world. And I thank you for not only saving his life but saving his heart and soul." She said causing tears to run down my eyes

"Now let me hug you, girly!" She said getting up from her seat with me mimicking her action as she wrapped her arms around me pulling me into a tight hug

She then pulled away placing her hands on my stomach chuckling lowly as she said "This is going to be a beautiful baby."

"Mom! You're running off with my wife now?" I heard Paul's voice say causing me to turn and smile at him

"What are you two doing?" He said wrapping his arm around my waist

"Oh, nothing!" His Mom smiled before pinching his cheek walking away leaving me and him alone

He gently sat down his glass of champagne and lifted me in his arms, kissing my lips before looking at me with soft eyes.

"You happy?"

"Always with you," I replied kissing him and placing my hands on the sides of his cheeks

"You better be, we have a long life ahead of us!" He said beginning to twirl me causing me to squeal lowly in laughter before he put me down kissing me gently yet rough but ever so passionately.

A/N: Told you all I was coming back🤭 Well, guess what?! The book is almost complete and with emotions running high...there's drama coming and some may be very upset by the end of the book!
