"I still find it funny you didn't realize who I was until hours later." Paul teased making me roll my eyes slightly with a laugh followed shortly after

"Well I'm sorry I was doing my job keeping you alive not worrying about whether you are a celebrity or not." I rebutted making his eyes soften with a little grin now present on his lips

"That's why I love you." He said while drinking wine from his glass

"And why's that?" I asked bashfully

"Because you are more attracted to me than the flashing lights." He said softly grabbing my hand making me smile

Paul had rented out an entire restaurant so we could be alone and even trailed paparazzi away from us plus the way he was gazing at me was making my stomach pivot.

"Speedy, you look nice tonight." I said softly rubbing his knuckles

He began to laugh and said "Thank you but you look so sexy. Those heels and that dress is hugging you woman."

"You're crazy." I said beginning to laugh

"I love seeing you smile." He gushed making me lean over the table slightly and say, "You make me happy."

"I'm getting you out of that dress tonight, I hope you know that." He said making me smirk trying to hold back my loud laughter

"Yeah, whatever, nice ass." I said referring to his bottom that he liked to show in movies repeatedly

He then began to chuckle loudly making me shake my head, "I mean you would know you did get to see it up close." He said sticking his tongue out at me

"I saw it in a few of your movies before actually. But you're definitely giving a lot of John Rahway vibes tonight." I teased thinking about the first time I saw that movie and stared too hard for my ex's liking resulting in him throwing all of my movies with him in them in the trash

It wasn't my fault. Paul is a very attractive man and I've had this thought for years. At first Aiden didn't care before he did care and start to despise him, though, he didn't know him, hell, at the time I didn't either just thought he was gorgeous.

"Takers the only one you've seen it in?" He asked biting his lip making me shake my head 'no' before replying, "Running Scared. And for the record I may not be crazy obsessed with you but I've seen a good bit of your films."

"Oh really, how'd you like those two?" He asked making me smile

"I loved Takers, Running Scared, I enjoyed for the most part." I replied making his jaw drop in laughter

"Yeah for the most part my ass, you didn't like that scene I did with Vera." He teased making me nod truthfully

"Other than that it was a great movie." I replied with a smile

"You know, I can just do that to you when we get home or in my car since you get a little impatient." He teased making me laugh once again

"I will never have sex with you in a car again." I said knowing with his charming butt it may not be possible to say "no"

"Baby, please, I'm just playing." He began to plead

"Calm down, Speedy, I'm just playing." I replied making him sigh in fake relief

"Now why did you drag me down here on a School night?" I asked making him radiate a smile big enough to illuminate the moon

"Why you don't like it?"

"You know, I love it. You just kinda surprised me with it today."

"I want to surprise you for the rest of your life if possible." He said slickly making blood rush to my cheeks

"I wanted to ask you something that's been on my mind for about a year no-" He began to say before his phone began to ring

I began to wonder what was wrong with Meadow, because he had silenced all other calls.

"I'm sorry." He said holding my hand softly before picking up the phone putting it on speaker, "Yes, Bear?"

"Hi, Meadow." I said after

"Dad, the police and fire department are here. The house caught on fire and I don't know what else caused it but I got me and Sarai out of the house. And I don't know what to do." Meadow said between tears

"Meadow we're on our way now." Paul said as we began to get up from the table briskly making our way out of the restaurant

"Meadow, baby, I need you to ask one of the firefighters to send you to Richards and tell them that Chief James told him to look after you two." I said causing a bit of worry to remove from her voice

"Alright, please hurry." She sniffled

"Hey, baby girl, it's alright, I need you to be strong. I'm coming to get you and Sarai right now. Where is she?" Paul said as we got into his car

"Your firefighter friend, Richards, is holding her." Meadow said

"Alright, we'll be there in 5 minutes." He said handing me the phone

"Meadow, I need you to give Richards the phone alright? And you stay close to him." I consoled before she replied "Alright"

"Hey, Chief." Richards said into the phone

"Hey, Rich, what happened?" I asked

"Looks like arson. The fire started from the outside of the house but the girls got out before any harm could occur. But Meadow had called us before the fire had began raging so it's minimal damage and the fires already out." Richards explains making relief wash over me completely

"Alright, thank you so much." I said

"It's no problem, Chief"

Me and Paul rushed out of his car towards the girls hugging them.

"Are you two okay?" I asked making them nod before Meadow said "I'm sorry."

"It's nothing to be sorry for." Paul said hugging her

"Mommy, I'm scared." Sarai said making me pick her up and say "It's no reason to be. I'm here."

I kissed her forehead as Richards said "I can clear you guys to get valuables, but one things for sure you guys can't stay. The carbon levels are skyrocketing."

"Alright. Well can you watch the kids for a bit longer while we go look around. I don't want them to go back in." I said making him nod before me and Paul made our way into the house

"Be careful." I said to him as we began making our way into our bedroom seeing everything was broken and destroyed

"What the hell?" I said in shock

Me and Paul's clothes were torn and thrown all around the room and the dresser drawers had been pulled completely from the hinges. Mirrors were broken, shoes and Paul's suits were torn.

"Baby, watch out." Paul said as I began changing into sneakers amidst all of the broken glass

Just looking into the bathroom I could see the glass shower had been completely shattered along with the bathroom mirror.

"Oh my God." I said clamping my hand over my mouth

Paul then picked up a note from the bed with three simple yet venomous words on them.

'Watch your backs.'

Paul's jaw hardened as he crumpled the paper into a ball and threw it to the floor before rushing down the stairs making me pick up the piece of paper that could be used later as evidence following after him as he made it into his garage.

He looked around at his car collection angrily noticing every windshield had been busted out of each car.

"Paul, I'm so sorry. I didn't know he would do this." I said beginning to wipe tears from my eyes before he pulled me into a hug.

"None of this is your fault. I'm just going to get our kids in a room and back asleep. Then I'm going to take care of him."

"Paul, no-" I began to contest before he shook his head 'no' angrily

"You can't talk me out of this one." He concluded kissing my forehead

"Baby, I'm begging you please don't go." I said in the passenger seat with Paul as he sped towards Aiden's house

We had just got the kids comfortable and asleep at Vin's house and now that inner rage Paul had kept calm for the past thirty minutes was coming out.

"No! He set our house on fire with our kids inside of it. Then destroyed everything inside of me and your room." He seethed pulling into his driveway

"Serenity, I don't want you to get hurt, stay in the car." He said beginning to calm down

"I don't want you to get hurt." I rebutted

"He crossed the line." Paul said as he quickly got out of the car with me following

"Baby, how can I talk you out of this?!" I urged

"You can't." He said before Aiden opened the front door with a smug smile across his lips

"Woo! I can smell the wood burning. Anything you thinking hard about superstar?" Aiden said cunningly making more fury run through Paul

"You did it. You tried to burn our house down and I know you did you son of a bitch. What the hell is your problem?" Paul yelled trying to make his way closer to him as I held his arm

"I'm a little lost" Aiden said playing coy

"Well let's get you a little found. See that house you burned down, the house with my kids sleeping inside of it. The house that was broken into and everything in me and my wife's room destroyed, nothing taken but everything destroyed. The house that was lit on fire by some pathetic no good piece of shit coward who can't stand up to me man to man. You see, that's my fuckin' house! And if you come around it again you'll sure as hell find me standing in it." Paul seethed angrily walking closer to Aiden who made sure to stay on his porch

I then softly rested my hands on his chest and said "Baby, please, look at me."

Paul looked down at me making me rub light circles onto the nape of his neck, "He's not worth it. Meadow needs you. Sarai needs you. Your friends and family need you. And I need you. Don't do this." I begged making his eyes soften

"My wife and God just saved your ass." Paul said angrily

"Wife?" Aiden asked in disbelief

"Yeah, you heard fucking correct. She's my wife now and she doesn't have to ever worry about losing children or being abused anymore. But I can promise you this when we have a kid we'll be able to do it right the first time and not rebound due to stupidity." Paul said causing Aiden to flare his nose as anger shuttered throughout his body

"Serenity, get him out of here." Aiden yelled at me

"No, direct your attention to me. I'm the man even though you act like a little bitch I'm pretty sure you have a dick. Bring that energy my way." Paul said now trying to inch closer

"Baby, no. Let's go." I began to plead with soft eyes

He gazed down at me softly before pulling me in a long and messy kiss before pulling away making me slightly smile at this side of him.

It was no doubt a turn on but I needed to keep him out of trouble at this point. I had never seen him this upset and not once did he bring that anger out on me, which was new and refreshing.

"Like I said she's my wife now." Paul said one last time as Aiden angrily inhaled and exhaled with dead eyes before we walked away getting into his car.
