I stood on my tiptoes covering Paul's eyes as we walked into his room where I put the presents I had gotten him before we left for his parents.

"Okay, just stand still and keep your eyes closed!" I laughed as I picked up the canvas of pictures of him and Meadow when she was younger that created a big picture of them now.

"Alright, you can open your eyes," I said with a big smile handing him the big canvas as I watched his face light up.

"When I first met you, you told me your daughter was the most important thing in the world to you so I thought you'd like something that represents that love," I said as he began to tear up looking through the pictures

"She'll never be this small again, huh." He said with a smile that I returned "No, they don't." I replied wiping the tear that had begun forming from his eye with the pad of my thumb.

I gazed at his emotional state that he had exposed once again for his daughter and it once again warmed my heart and made me wish I could've gotten that for Sarai.

"Thank you." He then said as he sat the canvas down and wrapped his arms around me, "This is one of the best gifts I've ever received."

"Well, I'm flattered." I teased with a laugh

"How'd you even get those pictures?" He asked resting his forehead against mines before kissing me and lifting me into his arms causing me to smile harder.

"Well, a little blue-eyed birdy may have helped me," I replied making him laugh

"And you know what how'd you even hold this canvas in one arm?" He asked beginning to laugh

"I don't know. I may have been a firefighter for more than five years."

"Oh, so you're going to use that against me now." He joked

"Please I can pick you up if I wanted." I rebutted

"I don't know about all that but I love a strong sexy woman." He replied making me laugh before he kissed my lips again sitting me on the ground.

"But I love this gift so much...it's beautiful. What made you think of it?"

"Well, you have everything in the world so I figured maybe something I don't know different and meaningful would be nicer to you," I said twisting my thumb ring around my finger

Paul sat on the side of his bed and smiled softly taking my hand pulling me toward him to stand in between his legs before he wrapped his arms around me.

"I don't have everything just yet, but I think me and you are working on it." He said before kissing my stomach making me run my hand through his hair as he abruptly pulled me into his lap making me yelp in surprise with a laugh while he leaned back on the bed.

Time seemed to fly, but it was flying peacefully. The only thing that was bothering me was my work schedule, me and Paul had to cancel our vacation because of it but he reassured me so many times that it was fine.

And when we weren't hanging with the kids, our intimacy was flying through the roof.

And it was nice. He'd even stay up till three in the morning when I'd get off of work just to talk to me all the way to his house to make sure I made it home safe.

He had gone back to filming but the feelings didn't change, sure he was a bit busier but nothing else seemed to change though I expected it to.

I leaned up to grab the seasonings from the top cabinet as I continued to focus on the man who clouded my mind entirely apart from the collard greens I was cooking.

"Why did I have to be put on Earth so short!?" I groaned before I heard the front door of Paul's house open, I then looked at the time that read "2:58" and knew it was just Speedy.

"Please come help me, baby!" I asked still trying to reach for the seasoning before I felt his body press against mines making my heart stop from the filled void between us.

"What do you need?" He asked before kissing my cheek

"I-i...I need the garlic powder." I stammered making him laugh and reach above me with his body still pressed close enough against my bottom to feel all of him.

He then handed the seasoning to me before wrapping his arms around my waist and kissing my neck making my breathing pick up entirely.

"How was your day off?" Paul asked continuing to kiss my neck

"It was um...good. I have to finish cooking." I said trying to focus on not burning our dinner

Reaching over he turned off the stove and smirked lowly making me begin to falter under his touch. I bit my lip with a smile looking at the ceiling as he began to kiss my upper back.

"You smell so sweet." He groaned before I turned to face him, "Thank you." I laughed

"And you look fucking gorgeous." He said lifting me onto the kitchen counter by my bottom that he squeezed gently before he sat me down.

"How was your day?" I asked making him smile

"Shooting went great...everyone wants to meet the woman who has me all smiles and daydreaming all day." He smiled before I laid my palms on his cheeks before planting a long kiss on his lips that grew quickly to a make-out.

I began removing his shirt as he pulled back to smile at how confident I had become around him before he tugged my tank top off throwing it to the ground while he connected our lips back together.

"Wait...the kids!" I moaned between our kiss

"They don't get home right now."

"Yes, they do." I rebutted before he bit me softly

"Then we can be quick." He whined making me stare at his body and face before I thought nothing more as I wrapped my legs around his waist and pulled him closer making him smile again.

He softly grabbed my wrists and pinned them up against the cabinet doors before passionately kissing me.

The front door then opened again making me lift myself quickly from the counter grab my shirt and slip it on as he did the same.

"Dad! Serenity! Mommy!" Meadow and Sarai called as I turned the food on the oven back on acting as if nothing just happened.

"I'm going to kill you." I joked shooting him a look with a low laugh before he kissed my cheek, "It'd be a pleasure, Chief."

Meadow then walked around the corner with Sarai on her back making me laugh, "Sarai get off of Meadow!"

"No!" She squealed making me shake my head and walk over trying to pry her off of Meadow's back as she began to run away with Sarai on her back.

I began to laugh and said "Alright, Alright. Just be careful."

She laughed and walked back over before hugging me, "How did you two do at school?"

"Good." They replied making me raise my eyebrow before tickling them both as I yelled lowly in a jokingly manner "You sure?!"

"Yes!" They squealed making me stop, "Alright, then!"

"What about me!?" Speedy then asked making me stick my tongue out at him before he shot me a look making me laugh before he hugged the girls.

"Show me some love!" He yelled as I went back to cooking for us all
