Aaliyah purses her lips, pushing open the door to the building where electrical was held. Everyone turned to look at her immediately and Nicky grins. "Oh hell yeah. How'd you know I was in here?" Aaliyah smiles, walking pass the tables, glancing at Watson and back to Nicky. "I have my ways mate." She walks over to the white guard who sat at his desk, dozing off.

She clears her throat, slamming her hand on the table, he wakes up with a startled shout and falls backwards in his chair. The inmates all let out a small chuckle of amusement. "Fuck." Luschek stands up and looks at the inmate who woke him up. "Channing, right?" She nods. "Okay, uh sit next to Harrison and fix this lamp." Luschek handed her a broken lamp and points to Harrison before sitting down and doing, whatever he was doing before.

Aaliyah looks at the lamp and walks over to the table Watson and inmate Henderson sat. She set the lamp on the table and leaned forward infront of Henderson, who she had a long history with. Nicky turns to watch this, nudging Chapman to do the same. "Wow, who knew we would end up in prison together? It's like fate innit?" Aaliyah plastered a wide, fake smile. Janae raises a brow, leaning back in her seat to watch this.

Henderson gulped nervously, "please, just leave me alone. I had nothing to do with what happened to your friend," she begs.

Aaliyah purses her lips, pretending to think it over. "Hmm, see I don't know about that. It's taking a lot in me not to get that socket wrench and drive it into your bloody eye socket."

Henderson quivers in fear, "I'll do anything. Please. What do you want from me? Money? I can get you-"

"You're in my fucking seat," Aaliyah interrupts.

"What?"

"Do I have to repeat myself? Get the fuck out of my seat or I'll rearrange your face." Henderson nods, grabbing her stuff and moving to sit next to Harrison. Aaliyah smiles and sits down on the seat, shooting Nicky a wink. "Damn. All that for a chair? What she do to piss you off?" Janae looks at the girl in surprise, still amused by how scared Henderson was. To be fair though, Henderson was a huge talker so Aaliyah was subconsciously helping her out there.

"She sold drugs to a friend of mine after I warned her to stop and she overdosed. I don't fuck with that shit," Aaliyah states mindlessly. Nicky didn't even have to think hard to know it was about her. Janae hums, going back to whatever she was doing. "Well, I'm glad she's gone now. Bitch wouldn't stop talking."

Aaliyah looks at Watson with squinted eyes before turning around. She could make out Henderson having a conversation with an irritated Harrison. Aaliyah stood up and walked to the back, causing Janae to look back to see what she was doing this time. Aaliyah leans forward in front of Henderson. "Do me a favor darling and shut the fuck up or I'll sew your mouth shut."

Aaliyah turns back around, but pauses in her step to look back at Henderson. "Oh and get a job transfer or whatever the fuck it's called. I don't wanna see your face in here again after today. And don't even think of working in the kitchen. I don't trust you to serve my food. Never know what slimey bitches like you are up to." Henderson nods.

"Amazing. I appreciate your cooperation. Not that you had a choice in the matter." Nicky chuckles as Aaliyah takes her seat with a smile. Janae blinks, surprised Aaliyah did that though she couldn't tell if it was for her or not. She just chooses to keep quiet and mind her business. She surely was not gonna make friends with the new girl.

Aaliyah quickly fixes the lamp in less than a minute, shocking Chapman. She walks up to his desk, setting the lamp on it, causing him to jump from surprise. "Mate, could you give me something harder? That was unfortunately too easy." Luschek sighs, thinking off what to do. Aaliyah taps her foot impatiently. "Can't you just assign me to whatever they're doing? I clearly know what I'm doing."

Nicky nods in agreement, "Yeah, I seen this girl turn the power off an entire school once." Nicky adds in.

"Fine, uh Watson, they need you to fix a washing machine, Channing, you can go with her." Luschek orders. Aaliyah smiles, patting his shoulder, "See? I knew you weren't a dickhead."

"This is some bullshit." Janae mumbles, grabbing a toolbox and walking out.

"Good luck, Liyah. You're gonna need it." Nicky and Aaliyah share a fistbump before she walks out, following after Janae. She caught up to Janae, following her to the laundry room in silence. "Right there," A blonde girl with fucked up teeth points to the broken washer.

"Ohh, look at the new girl. You think she's rich?" Angie mumbles to her friend Leanne.

Aaliyah leans on the washer, watching as Janae attempted to fix it but she really had no clue what she was doing. "Hey rich girl," Leanne called.

Aaliyah looked over, "What the fuck do you want?"

"What's your name?"

"Why do you care?" Aaliyah tilted her head, raising a brow at them.

Leanne reaches forward, grabbing Aaliyah's card and reading it. "Wait, are you related to Channing Tatum?" Angie asks. Aaliyah furrowed her brows, snatching it back from the blonde's hands. "I can't tell if you were born like this or the meth just got to your head. Channing Tatum is white, and American. I'm British, and black."

"Technically you're half white," Leanne points out. "Yeah, you could have like the same dad," Angie adds.

"My dad is black."

"Then you could have the same mom."

"My mum is british you idiots." Aaliyah shook her head, turning to see if Janae made any progress. "Can y'all shut the fuck up? I can't focus," Watson snaps at the two girls.

"Do you even know what you're doing?" Aaliyah asked, raising a brow at the girl. Janae sighs, "I don't want your help." Liyah purses her lips, taking the screwdriver from Janae's hands. "Yeah but you need it. Move over, I know what I'm doing. Isn't the first time I had to fix a washer." Janae moves to the side, quite annoyed with Aaliyah already.

Aaliyah pulls off the metal plate, setting it in Janae's hands and sticking her hand into the machine, finding one of the bolts that came undone. She quickly screwed it back in, making sure nothing else was wrong, she put the plate back on and turned the nob, the washer turning on and working just fine. "See? Now you got the day off love." Aaliyah winks, walking out of the laundry room with a small smirk.

Aaliyah headed to the library, intending to find a book that she hadn't got to finish courtesy of being arrested. "Is anyone here?" Liyah looked around the seemingly empty library with raised brows.

A girl popped out from the back of the shelfs, a book in her hands a curious look on her face. "Did you need help with somethin'?" Poussey asked curiously.

"Uh yes, I'm looking uh Alice in Wonderland or whatever it's called. Before I got here I kinda lit it on fire and never got to finish it. Do you have it here?" Aaliyah walked over to the shelf, looking around the empty place. "You like Alice in Wonderland? That's like my favorite book." Poussey says as she goes behind the shelf to grab it for Aaliyah.

"Oh really? That's cool." Aaliyah gratefully accepts the book from Poussey. "So what's your name?" Aaliyah smiles at the shorter girl, "Aaliyah Channing. And no, I'm not related to Channing Tatum." Poussey laughs at the joke, "You get that a lot?"

"Only from idiots." Liyah shrugs. "What's yours?"

"Poussey Washington." Poussey prepared for a laugh to errupt from Aaliyah as most people did tend to find her name funny. "That's nice. Is it French?"

Poussey blinked, a bit caught off guard. "Uh yeah, it is. Thanks. Most people tend to laugh or make fun of it."

Aaliyah shrugged, "Eh, that's not my style. Too childish for me. Anyways, it was nice meeting you. Thank you for the book." She went to the doors until Poussey called her name to stop her. "Yes?" She glanced back in question.

"You should sit with me and my friends at dinner. I think they'd like you."

Aaliyah smiles, pushing her hair back, "I'll think about it."

"So what you guys think of the new girl? The British one." Poussey asks her group of friends. Janae instantly rolled her eyes hearing about Aaliyah. "Ion like her. She's just some rich girl who went to prison cause her daddy's money wasn't gon' save her this time," Janae says. Cindy purses her lips, not disagreeing but not agreeing either. She still didn't know much about Aaliyah so she couldn't talk.

"Plus, I think she got some weird lesbian crush on me or somethin'." Janae adds.

Cindy laughs, "What makes you think that?"

"Speak of the devil. Here she come." Taystee shushes them, all of them watching as Aaliyah cut in front of Henderson. "Damn, she scares Henderson? I thought Henderson was the shit for the whites 'round here," Cindy laughs. Janae shook her head with a small smirk. "That ain't shit. You should've seen what went down in electrical between them. She had that white girl cryin'."

Aaliyah grabbed her tray, looking around for a place to sit, not that she was interested in eating anyways. "Aaliyah! Over here!" Poussey waves over. Aaliyah shrugs, figuring it wouldn't hurt to take up on Poussey's offer. Poussey moved over for Aaliyah to sit in between her and Janae. "Y'all, this is Aaliyah Channing. She hella cool." Poussey introduces.

"Aaliyah, this is Cindy, Taystee, Suzanne, and I think you already know Janae." Poussey stifles a laugh, remembering what Janae said about the crush situation. "How could I forget? Ever beautiful face should be remembered." Aaliyah says. Janae closing her eyes, feeling embarrassed as Cindy and Taystee both chuckled.

"Oh, almost forgot, here you go, for being so kind to me in the library." Aaliyah sets down a snack pack on Poussey's tray. "Thanks, Aaliyah." She smiles, also setting down candy bars on Janae's tray. "You strike me as the candy type of girl. But if you aren't, I could totally get you something else, darling." Janae blinks, surprised by the offering and the pet name.

"Uhm, why does she get candy?" Cindy asks. Janae rolls her eyes, knowing Cindy was clearly jealous she got some instead of herself.

"For being so lovely to look at, obviously." Aaliyah says as if it's common sense. Janae looks at Cindy, mouthing an 'I told you so' to her.

"Damn, how do I get on this 'lovely to look at' list?" Cindy jokes.

"You could just ask. I have plenty enough to give. Any friend of Janae's is a friend of mine." Aaliyah tosses Cindy a snickers and bag of reeses and a box of candy to Suzanne and Taystee. "Well shit, I like you already." Cindy grins.

"How you afford all this?" Taystee asks.

"Oh well, in case you didn't know, I'm kinda loaded and my brother put a shit ton of money in my commissary so money isn't an issue for me. Not that I'm bragging or anything, cause I am eternally grateful for what I have even if caused me to be a little fucked up." Aaliyah chuckles.

Suzanne smiles at her, "You have very nice eyes." She compliments.

"Awe, thank you sweets. You have a lovely ones as well." Aaliyah winks, Suzanne smiles pretending to catch it. It didn't take a genuis for Aaliyah to see that Suzanne was a little crazy in the head. But she didn't mind.

"How did you end up in here?" Cindy asks, taking a bite of her candy bar.

"Good question. Uh, let's see, well I uh, stabbed my girlfriend and committed arson to try and cover it up," Aaliyah explains, glancing at Henderson who she could feel was staring at her. "What did she do?" Poussey asked, figuring Aaliyah wouldn't have done it without a reason.

"She cheated on me and stole from my dad. Now I normally won't care for cheating, but I don't play 'bout my dad. I guess she was kinda askin' for it." Cindy blinks at her peppy attitude, getting a feeling that she was a little crazy in the head. All she knew was that she did not like her accent.

"You should go to Norma for some help. She does these like spells and I think she can help you with your, uh built up anger," Poussey advised to Aaliyah. "I don't think I have an anger problem but thank you for the suggestion," Liyah smiles, patting Poussey's back in thanks.

"But can't real faith make shit happen?" Taystee adds in.

"Look, who knows anything, all right? All I'm saying is, they did some kind of voodoo spell on Vee, and boom, bitch was gone." Poussey says back. Suzanne slams her lunch tray on the table, causing them to jump. "Vee is fine."

Aaliyah simply squints in confusion, having no clue with this Vee person was. Cindy sighs. "Yo, okay. I cannot go through this again. Suzanne...you throw that tray," Suzanne grabs the fruit cup, raising it until Taystee grabbed her hand, pushing it back down, "or anything on it, we dog-pilin' on you till you're flat."

"Mmm-hmm," Taystee hums in agreement.

"Agree to disagree, and let's get on with our lives," Cindy comprises.

"Agree to disagree."

"Uh huh. Shit."

"Rhymes with Vee."

"Rhymes with let it be."

Aaliyah purses her lips, still confused but she figured Vee must've been someone who hung out with them. "So, what you want with this voodoo magic, anyhow?" Janae adds in, leaning forward to look at Poussey as Aaliyah was in between them. "Don't be playin' around with that. Mess with the evil forces, you'll be out like Cedric Diggory," Taystee imputs.

"Who?" Janae and Aaliyah ask simultaneously.

"Harry Potter? Died in the Triwizard Tournament?"

"I've never seen Harry Potter," Aaliyah shrugs. "I thought British people love Harry Potter?" Aaliyah hums, "Yeah, but Tom Felton creeps me out."

"Look, I don't know. I just...I think it's interestin'. I mean who knows what kind of forces are operatin' out there in the universe? Maybe it ain't such a bad idea to try and get 'em on your side." Poussey defends.

"I must say, she's got a point. But I don't believe magic works when white people do it," Aaliyah adds. She clears her throat, "anyways, I should get going. I have a lot do, and by that, I mean eat chips and read a book." She stands up, grabbing her tray. "Thank you so much for having me. I'll see you later daring," She smiles at Janae before walking away with her tray, leaving extra snacks on the table for them to take.

Taystee pursed her lips, "she's weird, but man do I love her accent. It's so calming, you know?"

"I hate it." Cindy bluntly states.

"I think it's kinda nice," Janae mumbles lowly with a shrug.

"Me too. And I love when she says her little british slang." Poussey smiles, agreeing with Janae and Taystee.

"Nuh uh, she's trying to trick you into thinkin' she ain't crazy. I seen that look in her eyes. There's somethin' up wit' her," Cindy said. Only for Taystee, Janae and Poussey to laugh at her in response.

"Girl please, she's like a hundred pounds at the least. What she gon' do?"

"Yall laughin' now but watch me be right 'bout that little arsonist."
