"Damn, it's like Black Friday in here." Cindy comments, looking at all the chaos happening around them. Naked girls everywhere, people throwing shit around and just being messy in every cube. All except Aaliyah's cube. Nobody touched hers. They knew not to. Janae clicks her tongue, raising a brow, "Those sales are racist as shit. Make us fight over cheap TVs while white folks sit at home eating turkey, laughin' at us on the news."

Cindy turns to her, disagreeing with that. "No. White, black, Puerto Rican, Jewish...we all like us a 75%-off plasma screen."

"Why you think they call it "Black Friday"?" Janae points out. Both of them made some pretty solid points. Their attention is turned towards Taystee, who spoke up, all of them having discussed the demands. "I say we tell 'em we ain't lettin' no one else in this prison until Bayley is in chains. That's our demand." She made a good argument, but she was only thinking about one thing rather than the many demands that they should also be thinking of.

"I'm cool with that," Cindy agrees, sitting down on the bed. "Me too," Janae adds.

Alison looked around, feeling like she was the only one who wasn't feeling that. "Hold up. That's our only demand?" She looked around. Taystee looked up at her, "You got somethin' more important?" Alison could see Taystee was gonna get defensive and was quick to explain. "No. I just think we have an opportunity here. I mean, he did say "demands"...plural. Why not think bigger? Aaliyah would agree with me."

Janae looked down at the mention of her now ex girlfriend. "Where is Aaliyah anyways? Shouldn't she be here?" Taystee questions. Cindy shoots a look to Janae who sat on the top bunk. "She would be here if Janae hadn't broke her damn heart." Janae shoots a glare at her. "If you were in my position, you would've done the same. It's not like it didn't hurt me just as much." Janae argued.

"Uh yeah, except I would've waited to break up with her. Cause breaking her heart when she grieving her friend and mother is the perfect timing, Janae," Cindy pointed out, saying the last sentence sarcastically. Janae rolls her eyes, crossing her arms. "Whatever. She'll be fine." Cindy scoffs, going to get back on topic. "But yeah, a'ight, I get you," she points at Alison. "Let's talk about creature comforts. New unis, softer sheets..."

"Reese's Pieces. Mmm, you ever had them fried?" Janae hums. Cindy is quick to correct what she thinks is the proper pronunciation. "I think you mean "Ree-see's Pee-see's." Janae looked at her in confusion. "What's a Pee-see?" Cindy scoffs, looking back at Taystee who looked to be in a sour mood. "And Bayley, obviously," Cindy is quick to add. "Fry him up, too."

"Also, we have to get everyone's demands to make it count," Alison said. "And why we gotta include everyone? P was our girl." Taystee disagreed. Alison gave her a look, "Yeah, but this ain't only our riot. In the words of Aaliyah, "Worst thing you can do is take another woman's voice when she's finally found it. Even if she's drivin' you crazy, messin' up your house, sleepin' in your bed, even." They look at her oddly, not knowing how she remembered Aaliyah saying all that. "You can't deny her the right to say her peace, or shit can get real dark real fast."

"She right, T. If we don't work together...ever day's gonna be Black Friday in this bitch." Cindy agreed.

Taystee finally agrees, but feels like they were still missing a special someone. "We gotta find Aaliyah first though. I'm sorry, Janae, but she is apart of this, whether you guys break up or not." Janae sighs, nodding slowly. She could tolerate it. As Alison went to say something, they all turned, seeing Taylor standing outside the cube. "What the fuck you want?" Janae questioned. Even if they were broken up, she still hated Taylor for what she did to Liyah.

"I just thought you should know, I seen Aaliyah and that Dominican girl kissing in Spanish Harlem." Taylor shrugs, walking away. It didn't take a genius to know what Dominican girl that was. Janae clenched her jaw, jumping off the bed. "She probably lyin'. You know that skinny little white bitch would do anything to make Liyah look bad," Cindy points out quickly.

"Then let's go find out," Janae shrugs, as if she wasn't totally gonna kill Aaliyah.

Janae, Cindy, Taystee, and Alison all marched into Spanish Harlem. Immediately seeing Aaliyah and Ouija sitting next to each other laughing about something. They both looked up, raising their brows at the seriousness. "What's up?" Aaliyah spoke. "What's with all the tension?" She giggled, her arm around Ouija's shoulders.

"Are you high?" Alison questioned.

Aaliyah scoffed, taking offense. "What? You think cause I'm not all depressed and crying in a ball that I must be high? That's just rude. I expected better." Janae scoffed, crossing her arms, "Taylor Swift came by earlier and told me y'all kissed. Is that true?" Janae questioned, searching Aaliyah's features. She could always tell when Aaliyah lied but right now, Liyah was pretty good at covering up her emotions.

Aaliyah and Ouija shared looks before laughing. Aaliyah turned to look at Janae, "No. And even if we did, why do you care? You broke up with me, right? We're not together anymore. I can do whatever and whoever I want. I guess I'm no longer your problem" Aaliyah hums, crossing her arms. Cindy pursed her lips, "Oh shit. She told you." Janae nudged her with her elbow, rolling her eyes. Taystee stepped forward, "Yo, Liyah. We was gonna do the demands and wanted to see if you wanted to join us."

Aaliyah pursed her lips, thinking about it. "Sure. I would love to." Aaliyah did a handshake with Ouija before kissing her cheek and standing up. Janae rolling her eyes and walking out. Aaliyah put an arm around Taystee, "So, where are we going?"

"Cafeteria."

"Excuse me!" Alison attempted to get everyone's attention as they entered the loud cafeteria. Aaliyah jumped on the table, grabbing a tray and slamming it twice on the metal table, "Everyone shut the fuck up!" She exclaimed, causing it to go quiet as the chatter subsides. "Thank you. Now all you bitches quiet down so my Muslim friend here can talk a little bit." Aaliyah smiles, gesturing for Alison to speak.

"Um...yeah. So we been talking, and we have a plan we'd like to run by all of you concerning the demands." Alison spoke. Another inmate was quick to add, "Who put you in charge?" Aaliyah turned to glare at her as Sankey imput. "Why should we listen to some bitch in a headdress?" Aaliyah rolled her eyes at the comment. If she was gonna insult her, she could at least be correct. Or then she just looked stupid.

"That ain't a headdress, Nazi," Janae said, tired of her shit. "I'm not a Nazi." Sankey points to Brandy, "She's a Nazi." Brandy turned around and nodded.

Aaliyah slammed her foot on the table, "Shut the fuck up and listen and if I hear any more racist, or culturally insensitive sayings, I will tase you in the fucking vagina. And I'm looking at you, Nazis." Aaliyah pointed at their table before she jumped down from the table so Alison could speak. "The thing is...we got hostages. So that means we get to make demands. Now, we can do this two ways. One, like a bunch of animals, like how they treat us. Or two, like civilized human beings. Like how we want them to treat us."

"She's right. Even if we really all split and hatin' on each other, they can't know that, or we lose all our power. If we wanna turn this place right, we have to speak up as one united group." Maria stated, in agreement with Alison. "Exactly. The way we see it, this is our one chance to make this fucking hellhole slightly less hellhole-ish. So uh, dream big, ladies. No idea is a bad idea." Alison finished, she, Taystee, Janae, Cindy and Aaliyah all passing out notebooks, papers and pencils.

Everyone began naming out a few demands, Taystee and Alison giving some ideas. Gloria cut in. "Amnesty." They all quiet down to hear her. "For all of us. The first thing we gotta ask for is no extra time. And nobody goes to Max for being part of this whole thing." Aaliyah points at her, "Mhm, listen to mama." Aaliyah leaned against the wall, out of notebooks already. Alex, Piper and some others walk in, Vause and Chapman stopping next to Aaliyah. "Hey Al. I think she's wearing my sweatshirt." Piper says, pointing at Janae.

Aaliyah chuckles to herself in amusement. Maybe that's why it fit Janae pretty well. "It's hers now," Aaliyah imput, walking away from them. Alex raised a brow, "I still can't believe she's the one who helped brand you. She looks so...sweet and innocent." Piper scoffed, "You knew her before me. You should know how she is." Alex pursed her lips, agreeing with that. "You're right. Put aside her looks, she's fucking evil. And she'd probably take that as a compliment."

"I would!" Aaliyah gave a thumbs up from where she was.

Aaliyah and Janae walked around collecting the demand papers, Aaliyah accidently bumping into her when they both when to go through the same isle. "My apologies." Aaliyah moved past her, collecting from the last table, she walked over to Taystee. Janae finished the last table before walking over, standing next to Aaliyah. "We got 'em all." Alison walked over, "Where should we go through them at?"

"It's pretty quiet in the visitation room," Aaliyah suggested.

"Okay, then let's do it there. I'll join you." Maria spoke up. They all came to an agreement, following Aaliyah to the visitation room. She seen people in there and hit her hand against the wall. "Get the fuck out!" The inmates all rushed out at her demand, Maria pursed her lips, pretty impressed. Aaliyah set the box on the table, walking over to the desk, she grabbed two white markers, "Okay, we can use these to write on the window to keep track of demands."

Aaliyah tossed Janae a marker, she caught it before sitting on one of the empty chairs. Taystee sat down on another chair, meanwhile Cindy was trying to get snacks from the vending machines. "We'll write 'em down and see which one has the most votes, then we'll include the majority on our demands list. Sound good?" They all nod, not disagreeing with any of her statements.

Aaliyah's phone went off and she pulled it out, answering the call and putting it on speaker. "Hello?" She spoke, checking to see who it was, the number appearing to be Jeremiah's. "Hi sweets. Just checkin' in. How's it going? You makin' any progress there?" Maria raised a brow, wondering who that was. "Everything's goin' pretty good. We're going through our demands right now." Aaliyah said, pulling out one of the papers and reading through it.

"That's good. How's Janae?" Jeremiah questioned, he hadn't heard about her in a minute so that concerned him. "Uhm.." Aaliyah didn't know how to answer, so Janae did, not wanting for Liyah to disappoint her dad. "Hey, Mr. Channing. I'm good, we're doing great. Just very busy right now," she said. Jeremiah smiled, "That's good. I'm glad. Through this whole situation, the closer you are, the stronger you'll be. You take care of each other."

Aaliyah frowned, nodding sadly. "We will dad. I uh, I gotta go, we got lots to do. I'll talk to you tomorrow, okay?" They both said their goodbyes before the call ended. Aaliyah glanced at Janae, "Thanks." She mumbles quietly before turning around to the window and writing down one of the first demands. "Well, that was awkward," Cindy comments, breaking the suffocating silence in room.

"You're tellin' me. I ain't ever been so uncomfortable," Maria replied. Aaliyah rolled her eyes, clasping her hands together, "Right. Let's get back on track, yes?" She grabbed another paper, passing it to Maria to read. They all worked together, writing down the demands and tallys next to them. It was still awkward between Janae and Aaliyah but they pushed through it to finish the job. Getting this done was far more important than a breakup.

"Hey, Taystee, you wanna check our work?" Cindy asks, as Taystee's back had been turned the entire time. "I trust you," she said. Cindy sighs, walking over to the vending machine. "You want some Funyuns or something?" Cindy shook the machine, a pack of Juicy Fruit gum falling out. "Oh, Juicy Fruit! I got Juicy Fruit, y'all." Cindy cheered.

"Just read the tally." Taystee says in frustration, wanting to get it over with.

"Okay, number one is, "Fire the guards." That got the most votes by far." Janae said. "Fuck yeah, it did," Maria comments, following Janae. Aaliyah sat on the table, reading over the demands again, the Beyoncรฉ one got a lot of tallys but they had to be serious here. "Number two, "Reinstate the GED program." Janae spoke. Taystee was quick to interrupt, "Uh-uh, hold up." She stood up. "What about Bayley? He's not one or two?"

Janae checked the list on the window, looking back at Taystee. "Nine." Taystee was absolutely stunned by how low that was. "Between "Internet" and "Flamin' Hot Cheetos in the commissary." Aaliyah rubbed her jaw, she herself disappointed by the low number. Cindy quickly turned her head, "No Takis? Man, you gotta have both of 'em." Cindy began to rap, tapping her hands on the desk. "Hot Cheetos and Takis. Hot Cheetos and Takis. You can catch me and my eating Hot Cheetos and Takis."

Janae and Maria chuckled. "Fine. Hot Cheetos and Takis." Janae goes back to add Takis next to it.

"So you mean to tell me "Arrest Bayley" is second from the bottom of our list?" Taystee questions in disbelief. Alison held her head with her hand, disappointed herself, "That's democracy." She said. "Well, democracy is bullshit."

Aaliyah decided to speak up, "Hey T, all the matters right now is that he's on our list. And he was gonna be on our list no matter what." Taystee took a breath, sitting down and nodding.

"All right, now...let's write it down. Yeah?"

"What y'all waitin' for?" They walked into the main entrance, seeing Leanne and Angie standing and looking out of the windows. They turned around, seeing the group of women walk in. "We might have called Domino's." Leanne admits. "Wait, how are they gonna get it in? The door's locked." Angie says towards her friend. "Maybe we break a window, and he can feed it in one slice at a time." Taystee shook her head, already annoyed with the two.

Leanne notices the papers of demands in Alison's hand. "Oh..oh! Did Hot Cheetos make it on?" She asks. "We put it in 27 times."

"Get the fuck outta here. So stupid. Bitches, man." They go to leave, not before Leanne attempts to put Taystee's pants down. Only for Taystee to kick her and hit her as they run away, Janae chasing after them. Aaliyah chuckles in amusement. "Dumb-ass white bitches!" Cindy said as Taystee scoffed. "Yo, read it all one more time," Maria said towards Alison before she went to put it up. Janae came back, standing next to Aaliyah, closer than they had been the entire time they'd been broken up.

"To whom it may concern. We, the inmates of Litchfield, are human beings. We are protesting the abusive conditions under which we are being held. In hopes of a peaceful resolution, we set forth the following demands." Alison handed the paper to Maria who went to hang it up at the window as Alison continues. "Number one, replace all current guards with properly-trained ones. Two, reinstate the GED program." Janae smiles barely hearing that one, her hand subconsciously intertwining with Aaliyah's.

"Three, better health care. Four, conjugal visits. Five, amnesty for all involved in this riot, provided that there are no casualties. Six, an end to arbitrary and degrading searches and the use of solitary confinement. Seven, more work opportunities, a fair wage, and equal treatment of prisoners, regardless of their race, status or celebrity. Eight, internet access. Nine, CO Bayley is to be arrested and tried for the death of Poussey Washington."

Cindy pulls Taystee into her chest, comforting the woman. "Ten, Hot Cheetos and Takis in commissary. Free tampons. And more nutritious foods. Fresh vegetables. Real meat. Whole grains." Alison taped the paper next to the other one.

"Now we wait."
