It was a quiet morning in Channing household. Alec was sitting on the sofa watching the news, apparently there was some terrorist attack on Judy King. Alec didn't believe it, obviously. It sounded ridiculous. Teyana was sitting next to him, curled up into his side. She was finally getting some quiet time since the baby was asleep. They were both concerned for Aaliyah and the whole situation was off putting. It was a shame that it had come to this. Alec wanted to be there but he had duties as a father. Plus, Aaliyah would've kicked his ass if he wasn't there for Tey.

"Has she answered the phone yet?" Teyana asked.

Alec sighs, shaking his head. "No. I'm just assuming she's asleep, or busy. I was talking with dad yesterday and he got ahold of everything on this girl. You know, she got six years for an ounce of marijuana? It's ridiculous." Teyana nodded in agreement. Alec was very frustrated with this all. Seeing him like that, made her mad too. "She weighted like 90 pounds. And this guard, he's clearly twice her size, yet he still pinned her to the floor with all his weight on her. Like, how the fuck do you do that?"

Teyana rubbed her back with a frown. "He was under-trained, I guess. You seen the pictures of him. You said he looks like a child." Teyana hadn't seen what this man looked like but she assumed he was probably younger than Aaliyah. She hasn't really wanted to see his face anyways.

Alec ran a hand through his hair, leaning back into the couch. "It's these fucking corporations. They don't care. I mean, you're hiring people to look after these vulnerable women in your care. This whole situation is just fucked, you know?" Tey nodded, going to speak just as the doorbell rang. They both paused, looking at each other. "You expecting anyone?" Alec questioned.

"Nah. I'll go check. It's probably just your dad coming to check in." Teyana stood up, walking to the front door. She opened it, faced with a young man who looked like a mess. His eyes were teary, his face was puffy, he had purple eye bags from lack of sleep. "Uh, hello? How can I help you?" Teyana asked, looking at the man in confusion.

"Does Jeremiah Channing live here?" The man questioned, rubbing his eyes. "Uh, no. But we're his family. I'll go get his son." Teyana shut the door, walking into the living room. "Who was it?" Alec looked up at her. "I don't know. He was asking for your dad. I said I'd get you." Alec furrowed his brows, quickly getting up and walking over, Teyana following him. Alec opened the door, immediately did he recognize the man. Gently did he pull Tey behind him. "What the hell do you want?"

"You know him?" Tey asked.

Alec didn't look at her as he spoke, "This is that bloke that killed Liyah's friend." Teyana blinked in shock, her eyes immediately forming into a glare at the man.

"I just, I wanted to talk to Jeremiah. I thought maybe he could help me." Bayley spoke hesitantly, his voice mixed with fear. Alec was tall and very muscular, he appeared almost as scarier than Jeremiah. "Oh so you want my family's help now? After what you did to my sister's friend?" Alec scoffed. Bayley sighed, hating to be reminded of it. "I know what I did. And I want to go to prison for it. I tried to turn myself in but they won't keep me there unless charges are pressed on me."

Alec and Teyana shared equally confused looks. "So let me get this straight. You want to go to prison?"

Bayley nodded. "Yes, I do. I killed someone. I should be punished."

"Do you have any idea what you've done? Cause to me it doesn't seem like you do. You didn't just kill an innocent woman." Alec spoke, stepping outside as Bayley backed up. "You took someone from their family. That girl has a father, she has family and took her away from them. You think you're the only one suffering from this? You don't just deserve to be in prison. You deserve to live with this. Live with reality that you took someone's life."

Teyana took Alec's clenched fist, not wanting him to do something he might regret. Alec took a breath, calming himself down. "Once this riot that you caused, is over, I will be sure that my sister and the girl's family, get justice." Alec backed up, stepping back inside the house. "Get the fuck off of my property before I call the cops for trespassing." Meanwhile, Teyana stepped outside just as Bayley was going to leave, tears streaming down his face.

"Hold on." Teyana grabbed his arm, turning him around, she socked him right in the face, knocking him down. "Oh shit," Alec raised his brows, surprised by that. "That's for my sister you motherfucker." Teyana walked back inside, shutting the door as Bayley held his bloody nose with a groan.

"You're aware he could press charges, right?" Alec raised a brow, following the girl into the living room.

"Yes baby, I am aware. I'm engaged to a lawyer, remember?" Teyana grabbed the cups on the coffee table, and brought them to the kitchen as he followed her. "That little boy ain't gonna do shit cause he knows he deserved that. He's suffocating in self pity right. I wouldn't be shocked if he tried showing up to the girl's daddy's house." Teyana shrugged, pulling some food out of the fridge to start breakfast.

"I must say, that was very hot." Alec smirked, sliding his hands around her waist. Teyana hums, pulling his hands off. "As much as I miss you, we have a child now. Which means, no sex." And on cue, they heard the baby's cries on the baby monitor. "Should we tell Aaliyah that he showed up?" Alec asks, grabbing a bottle of milk from the machine that warmed it up.

"I think so. I'll go get Amira." Teyana said going upstairs to go get the baby. As she returned, Alec set his phone down on the counter, taking Amira from Tey's arms. "I think I'm gonna go to the prison with dad today. You think you can handle her today?" Alec sat down, holding the bottle to Amira.

"Yeah, Imani's coming over so she could help out. You go and be there for my sister." Alec chuckles softly, "You mean my sister, right?" Teyana shoots him a look, "No. I mean my sister."

"I'm starting to think you love her more than me."

"Maybe I do."

"I'm gonna kill that motherfucker. How dare he show up to my family's home? He has the audacity to ask for help after what he did." Aaliyah rants. The group were currently headed to the kitchen to find Judy King after seeing what happened on the news. Aaliyah had gotten a call from Alec about what happened and to say she was pissed, was an understatement. "Okay, Liyah, we get it." Janae put her hands on Aaliyah's shoulders, urging her to calm down.

Aaliyah sighed, laying her head on Janae's shoulder. "At least Tey punched him for me. That's good. Hopefully she broke the nose." Janae chuckles, pressing a kiss to Aaliyah's head. They walked into the kitchen, immediately seeing the four girls forcing Judy King to make them some eggs. "What the fuck did y'all do? Did y'all see the news? They think y'all terrorists!" Taystee exclaimed, frustrated with the group.

"We know. We saw." Brandy says. Aaliyah's put her arm around Janae, glaring at Taylor. Aaliyah listened to Brandy say something totally offensive about the whole situation. As per usual. "The whole things totally offensive. Fuckin' media," Taylor followed up after Brandy. "What's offensive is that a photograph of two idiots wearing hijabs automatically gets labeled as terrorism." Alison claps back, the four girls completely unbothered by that.

"Hey, do I smell eggs? Ooh! Let me get one of them over easy, JK!" Cindy grinned, looking over at Judy King. "No way, she's our slave," Sankey is quick to say. "And over easy's nasty. All that egg slime." Cindy leaned against the counter, quick to argue. "Bitch, egg snot the best part. Y'all crazy. Over easy's the only way to cook an egg. Ain't that right, Jude?" Cindy looks to Judy, expecting the woman to take her side.

"Over medium is considered the gold standard." Judy responds, overwhelmed with all the pressure from the white girls already. The girls laughs, "Haha! In your face!" Aaliyah rolls her eyes, sick of this dumb conversation. "Shocking. The white lady backs up the other whites about egg whites." Janae says, Aaliyah nudging her. "Don't even entertain them. They're stupid." Aaliyah mutters, Taylor flipping her off boredly.

Taystee sighs, getting back on track. "Look, we need to borrow D-list Martha Stewart for a while. We need to show the media that she ain't locked up in a closet with a bag over her head and jumper cables on her nips." Taystee steps forward, the four girls immediately jumping up to stop her. "She's our property and we're not in the lending business." Sankey says. "That's Jews," Helen added.

"Yeah, maybe you didn't hear her. We taking the bitch, so excuse us." Janae stated. Brandy was quick to reply. "Oh, so this is communism now? We give you whatever for free?" Aaliyah scoffs, Janae replying swiftly. "Nah, our whole lives is you people taking from us for free." Sankey spoke up, Janae turning to look at her. "If you want her, you gotta buy her, like an American. That's the deal." Sankey crossed her arms, leaving no room for argument.

Taystee sighs, glancing at Judy for a slight second before turning her attention back to Sankey. "What do you want for her?"

"What you got?"

They did some kind of auction, Cindy ended up winning, getting Judy King in return for a calendar with babies and some unicorn stickers. Janae wasn't happy with any of this and Aaliyah knew that, having known Janae's history. Janae wanted them to speak for themselves rather than have a white woman speak for them. And she was absolutely right. Aaliyah was on her side completely, as of now she just stuck around, letting Taystee take charge instead. She did start to think she should've took charge instead though.

Taystee got ahold of the PR guy, Aaliyah keeping him in check as they dragged him to the bathroom where Cindy and Judy were. "All right, spa time is over. Judy need to do her consult with PR." Taystee says, Judy having been clipping Cindy's toenails. Cindy was quick to argue. "Oh, hell no! We ain't even done my asshole hair trimming yet! Look, I got to spread my cheeks and she gotta get up in there."

Usually, Aaliyah would've disgusted by that but the wasn't even the grossest thing to come out of Cindy's mouth. "Okay. Well, your will booty hair gon' have to wait. Cause Judy need to talk to the press 'fore things swell up out there and he gonna massage her talking points." Taystee said, pointing to Josh who Aaliyah let go off, the guy being sweaty and all. Cindy smirks, looking at Josh with a suggestive look. "Yes, he is."

Judy spoke up, having something to say about this. "Now, wait. You expect me to go speak with the public? I thought you meant that I could write a statement through my people. I can't go out there like this! No. I mean, you can't be serious." Judy declines, standing up as if she had any power right now. Taystee crosses her arms to look more intimidating. "Watson, Aaliyah, are we serious?"

Aaliyah turned on the taser as Janae held up a piece of wood with three long nails at the end of it. Though it could probably do little damage before breaking. Aaliyah's taser was enough to scare Judy in her place. Judy looks to Josh. "What's your name, son?" She cooperates.

"Josh. Uh, big fan, Miss King. It's an honor." He spews out, Taystee, Janae and Aaliyah all shooting him a look. "Thanks, darlin'. Thanks for watching. Now, what's the take?" Aaliyah rolls her eyes, hating when Americans said 'darlin' in their southern accents. It sounded much better with an English accent. Everybody knew that. "We got three talking points for you. You just gonna wanna stick to the points." Josh handed her the notebook with the speech he wrote.

"Okay." She goes to read it out loud. "I am not a hostage. I am a participant. I want justice for Poussey. I want our demands met." Judy glances up at Josh with a question. "All right. Now, do you want me to be off-book, or should I go out with this?" She asks. "Oh, you can have it with you. And we all think that you should get back in uniform. So you look more united." Josh explains, Taystee nodding in agreement.

"And so, what do I say when they ask me, "Why were you on the roof with idiots?" Aaliyah rolls her eyes, leaning against the wall, wanting to get this over with. She was already annoyed. It was bad enough that they were having Judy King of all people, speak for them and their experiences when she's only gotten the royal treatment in prison. "Oh, no, no, no. Don't answer any questions. Anything they ask, you say, "That's a great question. But the bigger question is, what is going on in this prison system?"

Judy hums, placing a hand on the boy's arm, "Oh, he is good." Cindy hums in agreement, looking him up and down again. "Oh, and I personally think it might be helpful if you shared some sort of, um, relatable tribulations from your time in here. Some painful experiences, uh, injustices..." The room became painfully awkward, everyone knowing damn well Judy never had one. Josh picked up on this, quickly adding, "We could also lie."

Judy stutters for a second. "I am game to lie."

Aaliyah rubbed Janae's back, placing a kiss on her shoulder. Both of them not liking this plan. Judy turns towards them. "All right, so now, ladies, what would you like me to say?" Judy questioned. Alison let out a breath, glancing at Janae. "We get thrown into the SHU arbitrarily. We're denied proper health care, dental. I saw a girl with a tooth gone septic, and they still didn't take her to the doctor." Cindy nodding meekly, agreeing with that.

"We get beat for no reason. We get cavity searched for no reason. We stuffed four in a bunk like we factory chickens. We can't get clean half the time cause there ain't enough bathrooms. We fed slop. We don't get paid for our labor. We denied education. We're denied the chance to breastfeed our babies. We're denied basic humanity." Taystee went on, Judy looking very uncomfortable. T crossed her arms, "And we get killed in the cafeteria for no reason."

A tear ran down Aaliyah's check, quickly did she wipe it away, her face going cold again. Judy turned to Josh. "You got a pen?" They walked over to the counter next to Cindy, Alison joining them to look over the paper.

Janae pulls Taystee to the side, still very upset with all of this. As she had every right to be. "You can't let this white woman speak for us. She needs to take our stories out her mouth." Janae states. Taystee let's out a sigh, "Come on, man. I know you saw them people out there with them Judy King signs. They want to hear from her. And it would be smart of us if we put her out there. They'll hear more of what we saying if it comes from her mouth."

"Yeah, but she's never been a real prisoner a day in her life. She ain't in mourning. She ain't outraged. This is our fight, T. Ours and Poussey's. And you're gonna let some fuckin' white woman, like, karaoke our song." Janae scoffs lowly, "That's fucked." Aaliyah stepped forward, standing on the other side of Taystee. "She's right, T. I thought you of all people would get that." Janae nods in agreement with Aaliyah.

Taystee looked down, thinking hard about what they said. "I can't do this, man. I'll meet you out front." Aaliyah pats her shoulder, walking out of the bathroom.

ใ€‹* ใ€‚ โ€ข หš หš ห› หš ห› โ€ข ใ€‚* ใ€‚ยฐ ใ€‚* ใ€‚ โ€ข หšใ€Š

Aaliyah sat at the front, hearing nothing but chants to free Judy King. It was ridiculous. "Y'all ready?" Aaliyah questions, seeing the group walk into the main room. "Yeah, open the doors." Taystee said. Aaliyah really hoped Taystee took their words into consideration. She stood up, removing the barriers from the doors and pulling it open for them. They walked outside, a ton of reporters and new people running up, asking stupid questions about if Judy was a Muslim now.

Aaliyah stood beside Janae, trying to see if she spot her brother or dad anywhere. A smile grew on her face when she seen them in the back, looks of concern washing away when they noticed her. She nudged Janae, getting her to look over. Janae smiled for a slight second, intertwining her hand in Aaliyah's. "You want me to talk first or make an introduction?" Judy asked Taystee. "No, I'll start."

Taystee raised her hands, silencing the press. "Good morning. My name...is Tasha Jefferson and I'm an inmate here at Litchfield. Two days ago, our friend and fellow inmate, Poussey Washington, was murdered by a prison guard. Poussey Washington. And I'm sayin' her name again because it can't ever be said enough. Now, as you can see, Judy King ain't injured, and she ain't a hostage. And she has a statement that she'd like to make at this time."

Taystee stepped back to let her speak, she glanced back at Aaliyah and Janae. A few tears falling from Janae's face as she shook her head. "And good morning, my fellow Americans. "This prison has put me through unimaginable suffering. And I am not a victim of this riot-"

Taystee stepped forward, cutting Judy off, "No, she will not. She is not gonna be making a statement. Sorry. She will not be speaking for us because Judy King can't speak for the inmates of this prison. She was kept separate from us, held in a private room with better treatment and a seltzer-maker. And moments after our friend, Poussey Washington, was murdered by a guard for doing nothing wrong, Judy King was packing her bags to go home on early release. Because she's rich and white and powerful. Now, our fight is not with Judy King. Our fight is with a system that don't give a damn about poor people and brown people and poor brown people."

Aaliyah rubbed Janae's back in comfort as Taystee continued, tears rolling down her face. "Our fight...is with the folks who hold our demands in their hands. Which you people need to read, by the way, and stop watching this fool shit comin' out of here online and get a hold of our demand list because those demands are fair and necessary, and show that we intend to keep this demonstration peaceful and focused on change. Now, Judy King is free to leave. She's not a hostage and you can have her back. Judy, get the hell out of here." Taystee shoved Judy forward into the crowd of people.

Janae grabbed Taystee with a soft smile, all of them stepping back. Alec and Jeremiah pushed through everyone, running to the front. Aaliyah ran, wrapping her arms around them both. Cindy stayed to make sure she got in safe. "I love you guys. I gotta go, okay? Tell Tey, I miss her." Aaliyah said, pulling away. Jeremiah pressed a kiss to her head. "We love you too. Here, Tey made you guys some food." Alec handed Aaliyah two bags, one of them particularly heavy, Jeremiah handing Cindy another as she smirked at him.

"Love you guys. Thank you!" Aaliyah rushed out before pushing Cindy in before she tried to flirt with Jeremiah. They walked in, seeing Taystee take a breath. "You fuckin' freed my ho'! Whos gonna tend to my African sunflower?" Cindy exclaimed, Aaliyah was quick to nudge her.

"You ever think about a career in the church? That was something." Alison chuckles, smiling at the woman.

"You did her right. You did our girl right, T." Janae wrapped her arms around Taystee, T hugging the girl back. Everyone suddenly raised their arms with a gasp, CO Coates aiming a gun around like a lunatic. "Open the door or I'll shoot!" The two Spanish girls opened the door, Coates slowly walking out, still waving the gun around. Once he finally left, they quickly locked the door again.

"What's that?" Taystee pointed at the bags in their hands.

"Oh, my sister in law made us food." Aaliyah explained.

"Then let's eat."
